Parisian producer Franck Roger lands on Nu Groove with Cosmic Tree EP, a four-track outing of deep house perfectly at home on the legendary NYC label. An established DJ, crate digger and label boss of Real Tone Records, Franck is known for his loop-based approach to sound, with his focus on beats earning the respect of house heads and underground selectors worldwide. This latest offering demonstrates his distinct style flawlessly; ‘Part Of My Soul’ features Detroit tastemaker and radio stalwart Rimarkable, showing two trusted authorities at their best as Rimarkable’s vocals, combined with Franck’s production, add a cool downtown feel to the future classic. Franck goes solo for the next three, with ‘The Music’ carrying deep club weight, while ‘Radik’Hall’ brings with it a certain percussive groove as only Franck can. ‘Cosmic Funk’ is a love letter to the genre with synthy basslines, vocoder rhythms and spacey trebles combining in hypnotic bliss, completing this collection of modern deep house excellence with flair. SAN DIEGOFranck is taking us to a dubby - house trip kinda very trippy at the same time wich reminds us some of the old Idjut Boys in the drums and sound designs mixed with this typical West Coast sound from the 90's. It's a Lottus love affair here Air is a cosmic journey into Franck's synthetic drum sounds, passing thru his famous Space Echo 201 made back in the days by Roland..the machine got some natural errors and goes with the tape delay feelings.. it's all about movements and space rythms here.Christal is using the famous 909 drum machine and 808 toms.. this one goes very deep into our mind with strange vocals wich Franck got the secret to play with, it's a sentimental and emotionnal song, cute for some people but very relaxing after all to complete this Ep.My name is was originaly out on Franck's RealTone Records imprint. It came out with two different versions.The track received some good feedbacks and plays so far and our dear friend Berlin based Alexkid came back to us with his own edit and we definitly loved it but we were very busy with the releases.. This edit has been lost in our hard drives and now Franck is more than happy to give it a new life.

Solarism is the result of a common fascination for landscapes and a passion for contemplation. After two decades of an unbreakable friendship, we have finaly imaginated this protean entity to express what contemplation has offered us and how it connects us to the world, describing those experiences through music compositions, dj performances and welcoming other artists to release their art.After our first release with Arno E. Mathieu version push the hypnotic vibe of "Tiger in The Hood" using the original arpegiator theme, and brings the track to a deep techno level for a textured and anthemic experience. Evidently seeking a new challenge, the Parisian's new imprint promises to adhere to a vehemently underground way of working, with every EP released on vinyl-only terms and produced exclusively on analogue equipment. More

Allez! Real Tone is back with another fresh new EP, full of deep flavours from two underground rebels. As always we're focused on the highest quality and the best music, regardless of genre, regardless of style and most definitely not concerned with the latest trends. Our man at the controls for this journey into the depths of electronic music is Alland Byallo, a Los Angeles-born producer who really hit his stride while living in San Franscisco. It was there where he became one of the team behind the west coast city's legendary Kontrol parties, along with Sammy D from Pillow Talk, Greg Bird, Nikola Baytala, and Craig Kuna. The seminal events gained all promoters worldwide notoriety and helped Alland to evolve his style. He's currently residing in Berlin where, of course, he's really found himself musically so consider this new EP a cocktail of West Coast USA meets Berlin. A product of Alland's melting pot upbringing, yet oh-so-cohesive and built for dancefloor workouts, as proven by his outings on labels such as Liebe* Detail, Poker Flat, Dirt Crew and now Real Tone Records. On Got It Wrong, Alland combines punchy beats with an infallible bassline, sturdy and energetic though not too imposing Allowing the other elements of the track to do their work. Subtle synths bashfully creep into the fray, join by jaunty whirrs which appear in the distance and a vocal that slowly but surely evolves, along with the track. Mesmerising twinkles dance around the bassline and the vocals reaching a crescendo, which pulls you into a faultless breakdown keeping you hungry for more before it delivers the ultimate understated drop. The track is over ten minutes, yet it feels like half that time, which is a credit to Alland's superlative production skills. Deep house aficienado Alex Alvarez steps up for a remix and switches it up properly. Whereas Alland's original used its slow yet steady evolution to create an engaging groove, Alvarez injects some verve into the track with irresistable 4x4 beats, a repeated, spliced up vocal and a bassline that will have even the most uptight raver shaking their hips like there's no tomorrow. Says Alex, 'I figured I could add something really nice by chopping up the vocals and other parts and put some of my NY/LA Flavor in there. Wanted it to be a bit ruff and more tracky but still keep the coolness of Alland's original vibe. Just kept it simple and not over do it keeping the groove right in the pocket.' Too true! So there you have it, two different versions of the same sublime, groovy number. Take your pick, but rest assured, you're Selecting quality all the way. Another Real Tone classic in the making!

Two great friends, and exciting young talents, reunite for their second outing on Real Tone. The transatlantic partnership between Leeds-born Burnski and New York's M A N I K has already produced one special creation – dancefloor smash You Know What It's Like. Full of funk and relentless energy, the track was a great fusion of the contemporary styles of two well-respected producers. It also became one of Real Tone's most charted releases in 2012 and held up a prime position in the Beatport Top 10. Now they've teamed up once again to produce the follow-up, Next To Me. Playing out like an action-packed sequel, Next To Me once again oozes funk from every pore, working off a steady bassline, solid 4x4 beats and vibrant synth work. Though the overall feeling is a little more laid back than You Know What It's Like, just like its predecesssor, it features vocals provided by M A N I K himself who often utilises his voice in his music – from simply humming basslines to straight-up singing. Rising French star Manoo (who has releases on Basenotic, Deeply Rooted House and Buzzin’ Fly) steps in on remix duties and flips the track completely on its head. The man whose motto is, ‘Dance or die!’ transforms the funk-infused dancefloor number into an ethereal deep house track, minus the vocal. Smooth chords and a retro organ bassline keep it sultry, with Manoo’s version basically a completely new track - together with the original it makes for an essential addition to any discerning DJ’s collection. It goes without saying that, individually and as a combined team, Burnski and M A N I K are a force to be reckoned with, as they've proven with both infallible Real Tone EPs. No doubt they'll be back at the top of the charts with this hot new number.

Marking their full debut on Real Tone, The Martinez Brothers (Chris and Steve) have concocted a lethal two-track EP full of dancefloor appeal and encompassing both new and old school house music influences. The New York-born twosome have always had a close affinity with the French label, with boss Franck Roger's penchant for NYC sounds forming the foundation of a common bond between the artists. The working relationship had already begun quite some time ago, but it wasn't until September 2011 when the brothers produced an edit of Zakes Bantwini "Wasting My Time" remix by Dan Ghenacia that they started to work with Real Tone. They returned to the label in June 2012 with their second release a rugged remix of Shonky's "Le Velour", and now they're back with their first extended player. Over the past few months, the lead track H 2 Da Izzo has had dancefloors bumping the world over - a captivating blend of the past And present expertly crafted by the Martinez Brothers. Though it was only made recently, H 2 Da Izzo feels like an old-school classic, The groove, the bassline, the hi-hats and snares through to the repeated female vocal and, of course, the hook... paying homage to an all-time classic, TMB use the bleepy hook from Hard Drive's timeless Deep Inside to really inject their track with an all encompassing nineties vibe. Two Much (4 Me) follows in a similar vein, an infectious vocal sample full of soul and the bouncing
bassline work in tandem with the retro percussion to produce another irresistable slice of traditional house music. The Martinez Brothers's new EP marks another step in their ascension up the ranks. The duo have travelled the globe, smashing dancefloors everywhere they go thanks to their fresh blend of good vibes and energetic house sets. Acknowledgement of their rise came recently in the form of a coveted residency at the world-renowned Circo Loco parties at DC10 in Ibiza and an invite from Richie Hawtin to join him at his Enter night at Space on the White Island, proof if ever it were needed that the brothers have really been making their mark. Franck Roger reunites with vocal powerhouse Mandel Turner for one of the year's most infectious tracks, 'Through The Motions'. The product of a melting pot of inspirations, 'Through The Motions' features a hilarious spoken-word sample, Mandel's ultra smooth vocal contribution and louche, hypnotic atmosphere underpinned by a laid back BPM. Franck and Mandel first got together on one of last year's dancefloor smashes, the superlative 'After All'. The twosome found common ground through their love of eighties and nineties New York musical culture. Mandel being one of the fortunate few to have spent time at Larry Levan's Paradise Garage, where the magic really happened week in, week out for over a decade between the mid- seventies and mid-eighties. Franck and Mandel formed a strong friendship and decided to continue their working relationship by reuniting for 'Through The Motions'.
Franck concocted the track's continuous linear beat after finding inspiration in one of his favourite tracks, the cult classic 'Make Me Dance (Hard For The DJ) by Nu Groove legend Basil Hardhaus. Later, during their studio sessions, Franck and Mandel came up with the hook – This time derived from a cult track from the nineties New Jersey scene, 'Goin' Through The Motions' by Keisha Jenkins and produced by New York duo, Blaze. Add to that a side-splitting vocal sample and 'Through The Motions' was born. Just like 'After All', 'Through The Motions' is proof that the partnership between Franck Roger and Mandel Turner is one that can Produce Instant classics. Their joint musical heritage combined with a variety of influences, from both house and many other genres, Giving to high Quality contemporary electronic music.

‘After All‘, the successful song produced by Franck Roger and Mandel Turner originally released in October 2011, is back this year with a number of remixes. Flying the French flag are remixes from D’Jjulz and Seuil. Joining the French team is Burnski, the young English Berlin-based Dj/Producer who recently rocked Real Tone Records with his latest collaboration with Manik ‘You Know What It’s Like’. Each coming with their own flavour, D’Julz, Seuil and Burnski all add their individual style to ‘After All’.
