Sound Limited, which was formed at the end of 1969, recorded three albums in quick succession in 1970, as if to reflect Takeshi Inomata's enthusiasm. The third of these albums is New Rock In Europe. This album is composed mainly of songs by European musicians such as The Beatles, Donovan, and Nino Rota. There are many highlights to listen to, such as "Something," which fascinates with Kimio Mizutani's shimmering guitar, and "Barabajagal," which has an exciting tight groove, but I am happy to see a revival of Inomata's original "Mustache," which is part of the group's repertoire. ?Sounds Of Sound L.T.D.? This is the third recording after "Sensational Jazz Vol. 1/2", and this version is glossy and psychedelic as if it concentrates the atmosphere of the entire album. It is a monumental work that makes it known that Jazz Rock by Inomata has entered a new dimension.

‘Multiverse’ is a word used to describe an infinite group of disparate universes including the ones currently inhabited by humans. A myriad of realms that sit side by side, undetected by our senses, surround us at any given moment. The multiverse theory was first confirmed by tracking leakage of electromagnetic waves filtering from one dimension into the next. When these waves were transposed to fit into frequencies audible by the human ear, the recordings were studied by a team of scientists, who found that they contained rhythmic elements that resembled a speech pattern of an alien language.
After years of research and manipulation the audio was found to be a looping recording of an alien voice speaking the words: ‘IDWT005; coming soon to a universe near you.’

By re-working the original magic drum patterns from the Afrobeat master Tony Allen, Nu Guinea created a compilation of tracks which is charged by a voluminous electronic jazz-Psyche funk imprint.
For this release, Comet Records teamed up with Early Sounds Recordings, the berlin label, also home to duo Berliners Nu Guinea.
The Naples formed, Berlin-based duo, is a project that arose out of jam sessions, melting synthesizers with instruments, containing a handmade sound that is not aiming for perfection but genuineness. It can be understood as a steadily shaping form, always open for collaborations with other musicians.
They've previously collaborated with singer Wayne Snow (fellow berliner artist on Comet) for the vocal edit of Nu-World, also delivered a remix for Wayne Snow’ ?Rosie Ep' both recently released on Tartelet Records.

Some tracks don’t need fixing. They just need a bit more room. South African composer and keyboard wizard Don Laka has been quietly sitting in DJ bags for years, especially with people who like their synth music warm, slightly
mysterious, and impossible to date properly. Somewhere between jazz funk, township pulse and studio electronics, but really just its own thing.
Stages was an obvious candidate for extension. Prins Thomas what he does best here: opens the arrangement, lets the synth lines breathe, stretches the groove until it starts floating a little higher off the ground. Nothing forced, nothing added for
the sake of it. Just more of a very good thing. I Wanna Be Myself gets a gentle nudge from Gerd Janson. The idea was simple: keep the personality, and give DJs a version that lands naturally in a modern set without losing the original charm. It’s still the same track, just standing a bit straighter.
And because the source matters, the original version of “Stages” is here as well. Always good to remember where the magic started. Three versions, no drama. Just strong music that already knew what it was doing.

Thessaloniki is a hotbed of electronic talent. Tendts are testament to this. The triumvirate of brothers Christos and Fotis Papadakis, joined by guitarist Elias Smilios, have carved out a truly unique sound. Blending disdainful punk with synth-pop sheen, the group arrive at the Bordello with Ghost Boys. Cymbals crash in the title piece, a lone key circling percussive precipitation before rich guitar strings bring balance and ballast. The song, an emotion-stripped story of missed opportunities and narrowing prospects, is sensitive and sharp; an emblazoned anthem to the lost and forgotten. A year or two back, original Nottingham deep house don Gavin Belton (famed for being part of Smokescreen and Drop Music-adjacent duo The Littlemen) returned to the UK after living in New Zealand. One thing led to another and soon he was back in the studio alongside former creative partner Steve Lee for the first time in 15 years. Featuring heady spoken word vocals from Hector Moralez, the result is 'House For Change', a lightly electrofunk-fired slab of classic East Midlands deep house. Raising funds for homeless charity Help The Framework, this surprise EP also includes 2004 classic 'Tell Me' (a free party deep house classic) and two fresh reworks: a TB-303-bass-driven revision of 'House For Change' by their old pals Inland Knights, and a squelchy, spacey take on 'Tell Me' by Lee under his solo alias, Positive Divide.

The solitary electronic musician Shinichi Atobe, quietly evading the era's evaluative axes while continuously updating his work in real time.
His new album, Silent Way, is released on 27th March via his self-run label Plastic & Sounds.
Following two 12-inch singles released via the self-run label Plastic & Sounds, which launched unexpectedly this past July, the culmination of their work to date—the album Silent Way, comprising ten tracks—will be released on 27th March as a coloured vinyl 2LP (gatefold sleeve/33RPM/limited press) and digitally.
Mastering and record cutting by Rashad Becker in Berlin. The artwork centres on photographer Yusuke Yamatani's work, with Satoshi Suzuki—who handles all P&S releases—constructing the overall aesthetic.
Last October, they appeared on Resident Advisor's popular series “RA Podcast”, with audio from their world premiere live performance in April 2023 released. They held the “Plastic & Sounds” label launch party at Shibuya WWW. In January 2026, they performed a live set of their acclaimed album “Heat” at the venue's New Year's party.
This release comes amidst growing international acclaim, with their previous album ‘Discipline’ featured in Pitchfork's ‘The 30 Best Electronic Albums of 2025’, and one of their signature tracks, ‘Butterfly Effect’, selected for RA (Resident Advisor)'s ‘The Best Electronic Tracks of 2000-25’.

The Afro group Saraba was an absolutely outstanding West Berlin Afro-Jazz-Funk formation of the early 1980s around the Gambian-German artist Abdul Corr.
In 1983/84, the Inner Music concert agency organized over 500 concerts with them at home and abroad.
In addition, the group won the West Berlin Senate Rock Competition in 1983 and was recognized as the best Afro formation. On this high-quality vinyl 45, two wonderful deep and danceable tracks from their first LP come for you in a crisp remaster.
