For the first time, several tracks from Machomover's second album 'Bare, Deep & Long' from 2006 are being released on vinyl.
Originally released as a double CD, the album was considered groundbreaking for German deep house at the time. The first four tracks from this album selection are now being released on Flaneurecordings. The two Berlin DJs and producers Oliver Marquardt, alias DJ Jauche, and Björn Brando combine warm grooves with precise drums, atmospheric basslines, warm pads, strings and the unmistakable depth of their house sound. Part 3 of the "Nachtboutique" Album by Berlin DJ legend Oliver Marquardt aka Dj Jauche releases the third sampler of his album 'Nachtboutique - Dirty Night s and Boogie Light s ' on Flaneur Recordings. On the A - side there is an 11 minute track that slowly builds up, playfully yet monotonously digs into your hips and inevitably lures you onto the dance floor. On the B side, there is a deep, 303 vocal track with New York-born singer Desney Bailey and a classic house track reminiscent of the nineties. who still worship the turntable altar. Known for his dusty drum programming, hardware-led studio rituals,
and a deep affection for the roots of house music, L.D.F. has steadily carved out a niche in the European
underground. His sound fuses Mediterranean warmth with Midwest grit - always rough-edged, authentic
and geared for the dancefloor.
His new vinyl-only EP entitled Tribute To The Latin Posse doffs its cap to early Chicago house - where
808’s snapped, synths hissed, and basement energy reigned supreme. Across five tracks, L.D.F. links up
with a heavyweight group of collaborators: Javonntte, Gari Romalis, Tilman, and Böhm. The result is an
EP that feels like a dusty box of DAT tapes discovered in an old storage unit - raw, immediate, and locked
into the groove. A study in machine rhythm, analog imperfections, and the timeless swing that defined the
earliest iterations of house.
Crunchy 808s punch through the mix on You & Me as deep stabs flicker like neon in a fogged-out
warehouse. A syncopated analog bassline snakes beneath it all while Javonntte and Tilman’s touch
elevates the track into a proper late-night mover - raw but undeniably soulful.
Tribal Dance is a stripped-back, early-90s-house-inspired workout. Drum-machine sweat, looping
percussion rituals, and hypnotic patterns built for dark rooms with low ceilings. Pure basement energyminimal elements, maximum impact.
Flip over for The Freaks (feat. Böhm) where shuffling house drums and a gritty groove define the cut.
Simple, repeated stabs lock into a trance-like rhythm while subtle rave accents flash at the edges. Böhm
adds just the right shade of tension to keep dancers suspended in motion.
Next up we have In & Out (feat. Gari Romalis) which is a deeper roller draped in filtered pads and
chopped-up vocal fragments. The drums hit with Detroit-born precision while the atmosphere drifts
somewhere between smoky after-hours and dream-state house meditation.
Closing the EP we have Light Speed (feat. Javonntte), an 808-driven DJ tool and this one is pure
propulsion. Javonntte delivers his unmistakable vocal flavour - loose, soulful, and charismatic - over a
skeletal, high-velocity rhythm. A perfectly stripped finale.

Featuring Sarathy Korwar, Dudú Kouate, Marysia Osu and more
French-born, London-based composer and musician Pascal Bideau aka Akusmi announces his second full-length Terra Incognita, an album of intrepid sonic exploration that delights in the sensation of being somewhere you've never been before. The listener is invited to experience seven faraway sonic imaginariums, as global and spiritual jazz are fused with modern electronics and life affirming minimalism into a hypnotic, polyrhythmic odyssey.
The album's rich multilayered sound world features contributions from tabla virtuoso Sarathy Korwar, Senegalese musician Dudú Kouate adds an array of percussions, ngoni and flutes and Levitation Orchesta's Marysia Osu brings harp and flutes. Featuring Sarathy Korwar, Dudú Kouate, Marysia Osu and more
French-born, London-based composer and musician Pascal Bideau aka Akusmi announces his second full-length Terra Incognita, an album of intrepid sonic exploration that delights in the sensation of being somewhere you've never been before. The listener is invited to experience seven faraway sonic imaginariums, as global and spiritual jazz are fused with modern electronics and life affirming minimalism into a hypnotic, polyrhythmic odyssey.
The album's rich multilayered sound world features contributions from tabla virtuoso Sarathy Korwar, Senegalese musician Dudú Kouate adds an array of percussions, ngoni and flutes and Levitation Orchesta's Marysia Osu brings harp and flutes. Following Akusmi's widely acclaimed debut album Fleeting Future (2022) which was supported by The Guardian, The Quietus, MOJO , Gilles Peterson, Mary Anne Hobbs etc, this time, the sound palette for Terra Incognita is more vibrant, earthy and abundant, drawing inspiration from the radiating optimism and high-energy sources heard in Afrobeat, Highlife and Electronic Afro-pop music, sounding looser, free and primarily interested in raw sensations.

Originally released in 2003, With A Heartbeat brings together Pharoah Sanders, Bill Laswell and Graham Haynes in a collaboration that remains as elusive as it is forward-thinking. Now reissued by Glossy Mistakes, the album receives its first official vinyl edition, remastered and available both in standard black and a limited burgundy pressing.
At the core of the record lies an unusual but striking element: the steady pulse of a human heartbeat. Rather than a conceptual gesture, it becomes the foundation of the music itself-treated as a deep, bass-like rhythm that anchors the entire album. Around it, Laswell builds his unmistakable sonic world, drawing from dub techniques where basslines expand, dissolve, and re-emerge, and where space becomes as important as sound.
Across its extended compositions, the album unfolds slowly and deliberately. Layers of electric sitar, guitar, keyboards and subtle percussion drift in and out, creating a fluid, almost tidal movement. The heartbeat remains present throughout, grounding even the most abstract passages in something physical and immediate.
At the center stands Sanders' saxophone-searching, expansive, and deeply spiritual. His playing moves freely across the structures, at times echoing the lineage of John Coltrane, while also reaching beyond it. Alongside him, Haynes adds a complementary voice, weaving through the shifting textures.
The result is a work that resists easy definition: part spiritual jazz, part future-facing experiment, shaped by dub's sense of space and transformation. The A side opens with two ambient pieces: "Inception," gritty and haunting, built from field recordings and layered chords, and the dreamier "Regulator Dial." "Air Lock" and "DFtB" turn breaky and low-tempo, evoking early electronica. The flip moves through "Waterproof's" downtempo electro and "Make Right," the LP's most club-ready cut. Title track "Bean Soup" channels early Four Tet: bleepy, minimal, emotional, while "Sunlight" closes with blissful, calming sounds, rounding out a beautifully balanced record.
Tudor Gheorghe, aka Romansoff, is a Bucharest DJ, producer and vinyl collector with over 13 years on the capital's underground scene. Inspired by small local parties in the 2000s, he started collecting vinyl, then DJing, quickly becoming a key figure in the Bucharest club scene. Since founding his imprint Raw Tools in 2013, he's released on Lobster Theremin's Mork, Creme Organization, Les Yeux Orange and Solar Phenomena.
In 2018 he co-founded venue Platforma Wolff, a full club by 2021, as booker and resident, hosting headliners like Prosumer, Paramida and Tornado Wallace. Versatile and creative, he stays a fixture at Bucharest's best nights. His debut LP lands this year on Bar Ton's vinyl label.
