Part 3 of the "Nachtboutique" Album by Berlin DJ legend Oliver Marquardt aka Dj Jauche releases the third sampler of his album 'Nachtboutique - Dirty Night s and Boogie Light s ' on Flaneur Recordings. On the A - side there is an 11 minute track that slowly builds up, playfully yet monotonously digs into your hips and inevitably lures you onto the dance floor. On the B side, there is a deep, 303 vocal track with New York-born singer Desney Bailey and a classic house track reminiscent of the nineties. Another release on the musical journey through 30 years of DJ, club and production work finds its way out of the album and onto the dance floor here on Flaneur Recordings.

Oliver Marquardt aka Dj Jauche, one of the avant-gardists and pioneers of the Berlin techno and house scene, releases his new album "Let Me Dance".
During the last 3 years, he has incorporated influences and experiences from over 35 years - as a DJ, event organiser and clubber - into his album.
The idea to produce this album was born in the lock-down and with it the desire to make people dance again - house music, in all its facets.

FR 008 comes from Rockford Inc. First release came out on Jay Haze's Turning Spork to later be followed up on Hamburg Label, "Baalsaal" along with diverse remixes for the Berlin's "Sonar Kollektiv", FM Music and many more. This is a 3 Track Ep with a long, deep a-side, the track spreads over 11 minutes, always changing while keeping the foundations strong. The B-side brings us, "Why not a Piano", a classic call to the dancefloor deephouse number. The EP finishes off with the b2, a drum 'n bass oriented track with New York born singer Desney Bailey.

for his debut co-production. And what a debut it is: Highly-potent, raw, swinging house
music of the highest order, complete with knocking 909 kicks, thick slapping snares,
and a hypnotic melodic call-and-response tonal section that keeps things properly
lifted and moving throughout.
The vox evoke label boss Aju’s earlier catalog work, and he’s in particularly pointed
mode here, spitting fire spoken word lines calling out various questionable corners of
the dance music scene and humanity on the whole. A bold light-shining display during
notably dark times, defending the once-sacred underground dance space against
runaway trends of ego-driven capitalism, online image over actual skill sets, and the
beyond low-ball barrier of entry into the arena. But by the time the soulful chorus lines
hit and rise us up and onward toward the blissful musical finish, it is clear that this is in
fact a unifying floor anthem and that indeed despite our differences amidst
disheartening global chaos, at least “We Still Dancin".

Jazzanova released their 3rd album "The Pool" on Sonar Kollektiv in 2018. It evolved from various loose jam sessions, mixing up synthesised sounds, samples and real instrumentation. Many singers where involved incl. Edward Vanzet from Australia, who was also asked to provide lyrics. Which he did creating the song "I'm Still Here" giving the tune a Yacht-rock west coast feeling.
I always felt the song was one of the strongest of the whole album so I asked some peeps to do remixes for my label Best's Friends.
German A-List remixer Larse gives the whole thing a pop feeling with an Italo-disco touch in his both versions. While Winnie & Somow from Berlin go for a more organic approach looking for that sun-rise House tune on a beach-rave or wherever.

Originally released in 1993, Surfing On Sine Waves is the second album released under the Warp Artificial Intelligence series (the series also includes the two titular compilations, as well as contributions by Autechre, The Black Dog, F.U.S.E. and more).
Surfing On Sine Waves is also the sole album released under Richard D. James’ (aka Aphex Twin’s) Polygon Window alias. The name “Polygon Window” originally appeared as a track name under Richard D. James’ other pseudonym The Dice Man, as the track title for his submission on Artificial Intelligence. Surfing On Sine Waves was chosen as a title by Rob Mitchell based on a quote by Richard D. James. The album debuted at #2 on the UK dance charts. The album was followed the same year with a companion EP titled Quoth. Surfing On Sine Waves is also the sole album released under Richard D. James’ (aka Aphex Twin’s) Polygon Window alias. The name “Polygon Window” originally appeared as a track name under Richard D. James’ other pseudonym The Dice Man, as the track title for his submission on Artificial Intelligence. Surfing On Sine Waves was chosen as a title by Rob Mitchell based on a quote by Richard D. James. The album debuted at #2 on the UK dance charts. The album was followed the same year with a companion EP titled Quoth. A soul filled Disco gem from the 1978 album ‘The Best Is Yet To Come‘, re-issued as a Deluxe album by BBE in 2012, ‘I Think I’ll Do Some Stepping On My Own’ is one of those tracks that combines an infectious melody with a stunning vocal performance. The third edition of the series pays homage to one of the most heralded names in house music - Armand Van Helden. While Armand’s productions like ‘U Don’t Know Me’ and ‘Bonkers’ have soared to #1, he has remained a true legend of the underground. One of the most illustrious remixers in the game, this 12” package celebrates this part of Armand’s skillset. Kicking off the A-side is his remix of the 1993 club anthem by Tonja Dantzler ‘In And Out Of My Life’, followed by Shan & Gerd Janson’s edit which amplifies the Armand’s remix even further. Firmly bound to Schema Records since the beginning (“Ad Lib”, 2001), in over twenty years of career Gerardo Frisina has released several records that have consolidated his status as a leading name in the international jazz and electronic music scene.
