SHORT INFO:
During a job in Cologne, I stayed in a room with a loft bed that had no electrical outlets at the top. Every night, I would listen to my TB303, which runs on batteries, through headphones to help me fall asleep. I loved the sequences, it was like meditation. The TB-303 bassline is iconic in acid music, so I created the Acid Lullabies to bring these two elements together. In 2017, the label Doom Chakra Tapes released ten of the Acid Lullabies on tape. Last year, I felt the urge to rework the tracks, so I mixed them again and created some new ones. I also
asked friends to contribute their own versions.
I’m very glad that the following artists contributed the Acid Lullabies: 47IN4 (Pudel Produkte, Doom Chakra Tapes), Museum of No Art (Séance Center, Cosima Pitz), N:in and Philipp Otterbach (Music from Memory, Offen Music). Two violinists from Ensemble Resonanz performed my piece 'Afternoon Lights' for Acid Lullaby 6. Alex Solman designed the cover, which captures the essence of the project perfectly. Have fun with the Acid Lullabies!

About RVDS : He may have been actively involved in music since the ‘80s, but Richard von der Schulenburg has managed to remain something of a cult proposition even as he now moves alongside respected outfits such as Smallville and Uncanny Valley, also based in his hometown of Hamburg. As RVDS the producer has largely issued his music himself through the It’s label, starting out with the Hausarrest 12” in 2008, while stopping off at Laid to deliver the excellent Moon Oddity single and plenty more lunar-minded releases besides. One particular favourite was the Summer EP, which is a fine display of the idiosyncratic approach von der Schulenburg takes when making hardware-rooted house music.
As well as his production exploits he has also been a resident at Golden Püdel for the past 11 years, long before it was so hotly tipped on the international party circuit. After the Moments album released five years ago, a new RVDS long-player has arrived in the form of Shadows. It’s a sizable 12-track effort spread over three discs, bringing a different mood to his previous work. As you can tell from the opening track “Shadows 1”, which is available to stream in full below, there’s more space afforded to atmospheric pieces and less concern on dancefloor dynamics. That’s not to say there’s a lack of house beats on the album, but as ever with the sound of RVDS, the emphasis is placed on the synths rather than drums.

About RVDS : He may have been actively involved in music since the ‘80s, but Richard von der Schulenburg has managed to remain something of a cult proposition even as he now moves alongside respected outfits such as Smallville and Uncanny Valley, also based in his hometown of Hamburg. As RVDS the producer has largely issued his music himself through the It’s label, starting out with the Hausarrest 12” in 2008, while stopping off at Laid to deliver the excellent Moon Oddity single and plenty more lunar-minded releases besides. One particular favourite was the Summer EP, which is a fine display of the idiosyncratic approach von der Schulenburg takes when making hardware-rooted house music.
As well as his production exploits he has also been a resident at Golden Püdel for the past 11 years, long before it was so hotly tipped on the international party circuit. After the Moments album released five years ago, a new RVDS long-player has arrived in the form of Shadows. It’s a sizable 12-track effort spread over three discs, bringing a different mood to his previous work. As you can tell from the opening track “Shadows 1”, which is available to stream in full below, there’s more space afforded to atmospheric pieces and less concern on dancefloor dynamics. That’s not to say there’s a lack of house beats on the album, but as ever with the sound of RVDS, the emphasis is placed on the synths rather than drums.

The cartesian diver is alive!

Info:Total Reflection X-ray Fluorescence (TXRF)* is a method used to analyze the surfaces of materials by firing extremely flat X-rays. Subsequently, the physicist Joachim Knoth (1941-2004) developed a patent for precise measurement of defects in semiconductor chips. In 10 sequenced based electronic miniatures, Felix Kubin, who presently consists of dangerous uninsulated powerlines, conducts the TXRF through an acoustical test arrangement. The experiment consists solely of a synthesizer, filter and sequencer. Full-bodied consecutive organisms arise out of which kaleidescopic irridescent blossoms sprout. At times they appear as acoustic by-products of high energy discharges on an X-ray picture and sometimes as quiescent fluorescent images. Who knows when the experiment will come to an end? Will X-rays break at irregularities? Will transparent ears crawl over fixtures and make laboratory benches corrode? In view of the entire event's musical beauty, all these questions are completely unimportant.

"A different Jimi" Siebels lives in Hamburg. He runs a label, a studio and has recently become a devoted dj after being a producer (Ego Express, Sand11, A Different Jimi) for more than a decade.
Pascal Fuhlbrügge lives in Hamburg. He hosts the monthly radioshow "Im wesentlichen Clubmusik" (Mostly Clubmusic) on Byte.fm. He also produces theatre soundtracks and music for other artists.
Pascal Fuhlbrügge on It`s 03: "When I did a soloalbum in 2005 that contained a lot of songs about dancing and almost no dance music, I thought that my life with repetitive electronic music might be over. Three years later, Jimi invites me to visit his new studio. We end up producing a new track. To my surprise it feels very lighthearted, new and exciting to me. Yeah, you can listen to the new ITS002 12", which RVDS recorded at Synthesizer Studio Hamburg (a little electronic smelling room, crammed with analog synths and drummachines) and forged it with A DIFFERENT JIMI next to his horse farm. How what is that? LOST WHISTLE – an ode to Ilse Werner (a German whistle artist) or the whistle school in La Gomera? In any case it is a hit which makes you afraid of, because there is magic on it. MARZIPAN NIGHTMARE – simply to explain: you take 800g raw almond paste and eat this immediately before you’re going to sleep. The result is that ! HAUSARREST / NICHT ZU HAUSE (House arrest / Not at home)– an ode to house and „Haus“music,which is the german expression for >>music-making in the home<<. Fine track! For the clever people:you can fit both tracks together and the result is the real house arrest, which didn’t take place at home, but in the clubs of the world.

Rødhåd and Vril return with the third chapter of their ongoing collaboration, OUT OF PLACE ARTEFACTS III, released on WSNWG.
While the preceding volumes laid out the duo‘s ongoing investigation into the numinous aspects of sound and texture, this chapter can be conceived as a clearing of sonic space. The compositions appear more deliberate, their architecture more explicit. Yet beneath the surface, the familiar tension between disorder and clarity shapes the record’s structural framework.
What emerges is an album of uncanny cinematic melancholia, the traces of which were already present in the earlier volumes, now coming to full bloom. The evoked landscapes appear widescreen in scope, although the record’s feel remains oddly intimate. It is never clear whether one expands into the furthest realms of outer-space loneliness or navigates through the densest of earthly topographies.
The heightened presence of acoustic instruments and human voice expands the project’s sonic spectrum. In the convergence of the organic and the synthethic, esoteric melodies rise and vanish, as obscured rhythms break into precision, resonating motion-picture nostalgia while remaining uniquely modern and anticipatory. What we encounter is OOPA‘s true aesthetic nature: a deeply human sense of playfulness and curiosity fused with a strangely alien and otherworldly detachment.

Detroit original, Terrence Dixon, returns to Tresor Records to kick off 2026 with ‘When Stars Remember’. Despite his thirty-year career, Terrence has always managed to keep a lower profile than his peers; he has given few interviews, preferring instead to speak through his music, with
cryptic song titles hinting at the thoughts swirling around their creation.
However, ‘When Stars Remember’ finds him stepping forward. “I wanted to get closer to the dancefloor. I consciously made this one feel louder…made with Tresor specifically in mind.” And the EP does just that: whilst many of the hall marks of a Terrence Dixon production are
present, the drums are more forward; the synth arpeggios so bold that ‘monumental’ seems a better descriptor than ‘minimal’.
“I put three or four sounds together on the same track, layering to make something bigger”, he says of opening track ‘Mono Collapse’, though the statement could apply to any of the music appearing on the release as all four pieces fold in sonics to create something hypnotic; more
than the individual parts: “If you stick with the same layered tones, and repeat it over, after a while your brain changes it on its own; you hear a lot of things: things that you didn’t notice at first, things that maybe aren’t even there.”
The absence of things is another main theme of the EP, especially what Dixon sees as ‘The Forgotten’, a group of fundamental principles like common sense, trust, loyalty, honesty and respect that are missing from modern life. “This world is different…the love is gone. But I love
everybody, man. I think, secretly, everybody love everybody, but they just don’t know it.”
