With Stronger, her third EP, Mira Ló continues her rapid ascent within the French electronic
scene. A cathartic project born from a period of personal upheaval, this EP is both a cry of
resilience and a celebration of club culture as a space for healing. The Paris-based queer
producer and DJ turns pain into creative force, and the dancefloor into refuge, release, and
rebirth. Across four emotionally charged tracks, Stronger traces the contours of a club where
one rises through the energy of the beat, the warmth of a caring community, and the
affirmation of self through sound and movement.
“This EP is my response to a very dark period in my life. I chose to turn pain into strength, to stand
back up through music, and to reconnect with joy, intensity, and the collective. Each track follows a
movement, of a body rising, a heart beating stronger, a soul regaining its light. Stronger is also a
tribute to those who carried me when I could no longer stand on my own. It's proof that even in chaos,
we can rebuild together.” Mira Ló
The first chapter of this inner journey, “Riser” is a house track filled with enveloping melodies, ethereal
pads, and organic chords that create a suspended sonic space. Its steady pulse and warm basslines
evoke a rising from within. “I wanted this track to feel like a build-up, like breathing again. It's about
that moment when you feel you're ready to rise once more, even after a fall, like a gentle but powerful
wave,” says Mira Ló.
With its R&B textures, pop-infused touches, and radiant production, “Brighter” glows with warmth. It
captures the return of inner clarity, the rediscovery of joy and ease. Made to bring people together, it’s
Instagram | Youtube | TikTok | SoundCloudboth immediate and heartfelt. “It’s a song about shining again, after the dark. I wanted something full
of light and simplicity, a track that speaks to the heart and makes you want to dance without thinking.”
A personal and introspective nod to the French Touch, “Higher” is driven by filtered basslines and
hypnotic grooves. It channels a sense of euphoria that builds gradually, almost meditatively, like a
joyful vertigo. “This track is about finding euphoria again, that moment when music lifts you beyond
yourself. I grew up with the French Touch, and this is my way of coming back to it with my own voice.”
Closing the journey, “Louder” is the most assertive track on the EP. Inspired by the UK bassline and
garage scene, it bursts with percussive, punchy energy. This is where everything comes into full light,
bold, unapologetic, and free. “I wrote Louder as a statement: I’m here, I exist, and I won’t stay silent
anymore. It’s about partying as self-affirmation, as a joyful, powerful scream of identity. Meant to be
played loud. Very loud.”
Mira Ló, born Ana Lopez, is a queer producer and DJ based in Paris. Drawing from the full spectrum
of club music, her sets and productions blend melancholic emotion with a unique, high-energy,
euphoric touch - inspired by artists like Disclosure, salute, and Sammy Virji. From her early days
playing in Parisian bars and intimate clubs, she quickly rose to the lineups of top French venues and
festivals such as Peacock Society, Marvellous Island, and Lollapalooza - extending her reach across
Europe and even to Chicago. She’s carved out a strong place for herself within the new wave of the
French electronic scene, leaving a lasting impression with every appearance. In 2023, she released
her debut EP Memories and was featured in Apple Music’s “Women In Electronic” series. That same
year, she became a resident at Sacré in Paris, before unveiling her second EP Tribute To Chicago in
2024. She returns in 2025 with her third release, Stronger - once again proving she’s one of the most
promising artists shaping the future of electronic music.

4. SHORT INFO:
Juno's review in 2020: Emerging out of the clouds of live and instrumental deep house, Tour-Maubourg first appeared on the scene with a debut record for Parisian label Pont Neuf Records before making connections with FHUO, Salin Records and Happiness Theory. Returning to Pont Neuf for the release of his debut album, Paradis Artificiels, the artist puts paid to the Trax article which once wrote of TM: ''one of the most promising producers of the French house scene''. Referencing a Baudelaire poem for its title, the album flexes between new age ambience, acid and Chicago house inspirations in tracks like "Le Vol. Du Corbeau" while diving deep into watery percussion, solo jazz brass and skittering drums in "Saint The A La Menthe". WIth stronger ties to functional deep house in "Diffraction Rythmique", there's a smokey haze of hip hop instrumentality and dub to be found in tracks like "Les Mots" too. A record that would be attractive to fans of SUED.

Pont Neuf regular Tour-Maubourg is undoubtedly an artist on the rise. There are gems aplenty in his back catalogue, which supplements dusty, jazz-flecked deep house with blazed electronica and hazy downtempo gems. 'Spaces of Silence', his second album, is exceptionally strong, too, with the French producer sashaying between immersive ambient ('Intro'), organic, loose-limbed deep jazz-house (the fabulous 'Just Believe'), head-nodding instrumental hip-hop ('Why (Life)'), sun-splashed warm-up shufflers ('I Never Will'), nostalgic New Jersey style deep house ('Paradise'), horizontal electronica ('L'Hiver'), deep space workouts (the deep house goes ambient techno haze of 'Solaced') and nods towards the vintage early works of St Germain ('You (feat Ismael Ndir)'). Impeccable.

Genres: Breakbeat, UK Rave, Electronica
A rising and genre-defying figure in the French electronic scene, Goldie B continues her
ascent with Who Says Night’s For Sleeping?, a five-track EP that asserts her distinctive
signature: an instinctive blend of club energy, cinematic storytelling and UK rave influences.
Conceived as the soundtrack to a night lived in full intensity, the record moves through the fire
of the dancefloor, the collective trance, and those suspended moments where one floats
between dream and wakefulness.
“I imagined this EP as the soundtrack to a night experienced in its entirety. From the first rush of
adrenaline on the dancefloor to that floating walk home, still carried by the music. My influences range
from Moby and Air to Floating Points and Joy Orbison, artists who know how to combine power and
emotion. I love connecting the raw energy of the club with more dreamlike textures, because you can
absolutely dream while dancing. Each track is an instinctive snapshot of my inner world.” Goldie B
The EP’s opening act, “The Space Between” blends ethereal pads, organic strings and a steady
crescendo, recalling the elegance of Air or Moby. It opens a suspended space, equally suited to inner
drift or physical release. “I wanted it to feel like a threshold, a gentle hand pulling you into a trance
state.”
On “U Make Me Feel So Good”, a sensual and narrative breakbeat track, a flowing bassline gradually
tightens into trancier energy. Seductive female vocals weave through broken rhythms, creating a
piece that is as tactile as it is hypnotic. “It’s about contrast, the softness and caress at the start, then a
tension that rises and electrifies.”
Instagram | Youtube | TikTok | SoundCloudAt the heart of the project, “Rêve de Rave” channels 90’s breakbeat spirit with old-school samples, an
euphoric central break and voices urging to move your feet. Urgent and liberating, it embodies the
dreamlike essence of the rave. “It’s how I imagine the rave: a lucid dream where joy and collective
energy feel almost unreal.”
Next comes the most incisive cut of the EP, “Purple FX”, driven by a grating central bassline that
evolves relentlessly until its explosive drop. Minimalist yet implacable, it captures the sheer force of a
peak-time track. “I wanted a track purely designed for the club, where the tension just keeps rising
until it explodes.”
Closing in chiaroscuro, “Snake Waves” shifts from breakbeat into a half-house, half-techno 4/4
groove, carried by a sinuous, hypnotic bassline. The track plays on tension and release, with a rich
harmonic break before fading like a suspended farewell, where the party recedes but the energy
lingers. “It’s a farewell piece that keeps the intoxication alive, like a final vertigo before slipping back
into the night.”
Goldie B is a multifaceted force on the French electronic scene. A producer, multi-instrumentalist,
singer, MC, DJ, and co-founder of the label Omakase Recordings, her sets blend bass, jungle, UKG,
and breakbeat, captivating audiences with their contagious energy. Based in Marseille, she has
released music on renowned labels such as D.KO, Banoffee Pies, and YUKU, and has performed on
some of the biggest French stages and festivals: Peacock Society, Astropolis, NDK, Marsatac, Delta,
Le Bon Air, and even the Festival d’Avignon. In 2024, she was selected by Apple Music for its
Women In Electronic series. Her new Who Says Night’s For Sleeping? EP confirms her status as an
instinctive and distinctive artist to watch on the French electronic scene.

Bande de Filles collective and known for her explosive universe blending House, Hardgroove
and Breaks, as well as for the unique energy inherited from her dance background, Naajet
delivers here a sonic manifesto conceived as an ode to club culture and to the present
moment.
“I imagined this EP as an anthem to the world of the night. The night offers us unparalleled freedom,
an outlet that allows us to be ourselves, to create, to love. The Night Starts Now captures this
celebration of the present moment and this declaration of independence.” Naajet
Opening the EP, “Ready To Shine” unfolds radiant House nourished by Pop and 90’s sounds. With a
clear and ascending rhythm, the track combines euphoria and introspection. “I composed this track as
a joyful and introspective journey that prepares us to embrace the night. For me, it is a call to accept
our wounds, to transform them into light and strength, so that we may shine brighter when we enter
the club,” explains Naajet. Between ethereal vocal lines and shimmering pads, the track acts as a
ritual of entering the night, inviting us to turn wounds into strength and to shine on the dancefloor.
The second track of the EP, “Sugar”, embodies the effervescence of the club. Carried by a hypnotic
voice and an effervescent rhythm, the track celebrates the communion of bodies and the liberating
energy of dance. “It is an ode to dance and to bodies coming together. This track speaks of those
moments when, on the dancefloor, boundaries fall: we sweat together, we free ourselves together,
and energy flows from one body to another,” says Naajet. A true concentrate of intensity, “Sugar”
captures the moment when sweat, rhythm and abandon merge into a collective movement towards
freedom.
With “I Can Be Anything”, Naajet changes register and flirts with deeper, even techno textures. Built
on a throbbing pulse and sharp synths, this track is meant as a manifesto of identity. “I really wanted
to propose a track that claims our right to free and plural expression and sexuality. I Can Be Anything
is about our multiple identities, our ability to reinvent ourselves and to refuse any form of formatting,”
she says. Between club intensity and political resonance, “I Can Be Anything” questions our multiple
facets and embodies the assertion of an elusive and free self.
Closing the EP on an euphoric note, “May It Never End” stands out with its broken rhythms and
powerful synths. The track conveys the transcendent energy of the end of the night, when dawn
arrives but we refuse to leave the collective trance. “I wanted to put into music this feeling of infinite
energy, when time is suspended and the party seems to never have to stop. It is this euphoric vertigo
that connects us all in the same breath, this utopia of a night that would never end,” says Naajet. A
true apotheosis, this track embodies the utopia of an eternal night.
DJ, producer and co-founder of the Bande de Filles collective, Naajet has established herself with a
singular universe where House, Hardgroove and Breaks blend, nourished by her background as a
dancer and an instinctive sense of groove. For the past three years, she has performed on French
and European stages – from Berlin to Amsterdam, via Geneva and Oslo – and has made her mark in
clubs such as Rex Club, Le Sucre and Badaboum, as well as festivals like Nuits Sonores and Kolorz.
On the production side, she has released several acclaimed EPs on renowned labels such as Shall
Not Fade and Monki & Friends. In 2025, she takes a new step with the launch of her label SWEAT
Records and a residency at Le Sacré in Paris, affirming her role as an ambassador of a free and
intense club culture. She also collaborates with the waacking company MADOKI, for which she
composes and mixes projects at the crossroads of dance and music. With The Night Starts Now,
Naajet confirms her status as an essential artist of the new electronic generation

Following a debut EP praised for its freshness and boldness, S-Pazz returns with Birth of
Light, a second release that fully confirms the potential of the Parisian duo. Blending elements
of house, jazz, broken beat, and ambient, the record sees them refine their musical identity
with a more intimate and introspective approach, yet always deeply rhythmic and luminous.
Composed four-hands during a moment of personal transition, the EP feels like a rite of
passage where music becomes a space of unity, resilience, and imagination.
“This EP reflects a major transition in our lives, as it was written during Nathan’s move out of the
shared flat where we also had our studio. Despite the change, we managed to preserve the unique
creative world that defines the identity of S-Pazz. We deliberately infused it with a wide range of
influences, spanning different eras and cultures. ‘Birth of Light’ builds on the foundations laid with our
first EP: crafting music at the crossroads of our respective influences, always driven by our love for
cinematic soundscapes.” S-Pazz
The opening track, “Ce Matin-Là”, unfolds with a dreamlike atmosphere, led by lush string
arrangements from Nathan’s father, a double bassist already sampled on their first EP. “We wanted to
get closer to those tracks that bridge electronic and orchestral music, like what 4Hero, Bonobo, or
even Air have done,” explains S-Pazz. The track also gets a reinterpretation from Tour-Maubourg,
who delivers a deep house remix tinged with bossa nova, infusing the piece with a warm, summery,
and organic tone that extends the EP’s globe-trotting spirit.
With “Together”, the Parisian duo pays tribute to the UK broken beat scene through a syncopated
and generous track where analog synths and live grooves coexist with subtle balance. “We wrote it in
Instagram | Youtube | TikTok | SoundCloudthe summer of 2024. It combines a lot of sampling and a growing passion for synths we’ve developed
over time. For the percussion, we drew a lot of inspiration from producers like Da Lata, 4hero, and
Chaos in the CBD.”
“My Heart” captures the EP’s dancefloor soul, a hybrid of broken beat, jazz, and funk. Warm brass,
Prophet 5 bass doubled with a Rhodes, and a breathy vocal that bridges groove and emotion. “It’s a
blend of jazz, dub, and funk. Club music that speaks to the body as much as to the heart.”
The fruit of a year-long process, “Bees Die After Stinging” brings together afro-influenced 6/8
rhythms, field recordings of beehives, and finely crafted jazz arrangements. The illusion of a live band
is meticulously constructed in-studio. “We’re especially proud of this track, it really captures the
meeting point between our two musical worlds.”
The closing track, “Ocean Reflections”, deliberately breaks away from classic house structure,
embracing a freer, more ambient form. It brings the EP to a contemplative and fluid end. “We wanted
to close the EP with something special, no four-on-the-floor kick, but a preserved groove that invites
introspection. We invited our friend Claire Grunenberger to sing, and Grégoire added a jazz solo as a
tribute to the early days of St Germain.”
S-Pazz is a project formed by Nathan and Grégoire, close friends and creative partners both on and
off stage. Their music reflects a rare intersection of jazz, house, broken beat, and narrative-driven
electronic music, shaped by their distinct backgrounds: Grégoire is a jazz-trained multi-instrumentalist,
while Nathan is a DJ and beatmaker influenced by hip-hop and raised in a family of musicians. Their
debut EP Tales of Dancing Waters (2024) quickly caught the attention of listeners and curators alike,
racking up hundreds of thousands of streams and landing on playlists alongside artists like Berlioz,
Barry Can’t Swim, Dublon, and Tour-Maubourg. Now, with Birth of Light, the duo takes a major step
forward in their evolution, laying the foundation for a deeply personal, immersive, and resolutely
luminous musical language.

B1) Mystery (Close Counters Remix)
B2) Berlin Boogie Town (Cassius Remix)
Info:
Big remix package for TOY TONICS'S boss KAPOTE. His song "Mystery" from the last album reworked by HARVEY SUTHERLAND, OPOLOPO, CLOSE COUNTERS with a bonus remix by french house master CASSIUS. Turning Kpaote's New school house anthem into super fresh jazz-funk disco, NYC 1990ies House hit and proto-dance bangers. There is no way there is not one version that every good DJ with an interesting fresh sound can't play.
It's 2025 and Toy Tonics one more time tries to define what are the perfect vibes for the "post-dark-electronic music age". Yes. After 10 years of explosion of hard techno, dark trance and fast race sounds Toy Tonics is trying every month to bring ideas for a more positive, high quality, forward-thinking dance music.
Opolopo: Opolopo brings his legendary touch to "Mystery." With a career spanning decades and a reputation for fusing boogie, funk, and broken beat, his remix promises a soulful journey. An artist who's famously remixed everyone from Gregory Porter to Stevie Wonder, Opolopo's version is pure, unadulterated groove.
Harvey Sutherland: Straight from the heart of Melbourne's electronic underground, Sutherland delivers his signature "Neurotic Funk." The celebrated synthesist and producer, known for his distinctive analog textures and a discography that's earned him ARIA Award nominations, is sure to inject his unique genre-bending energy into the track.
Close Counters: The duo from Melbourne, Close Counters, are set to turn "Mystery" into an electrifying fusion of house, soul, and jazz. Known for their dense synths and infectious energy, they have earned praise from tastemakers like Gilles Peterson and have wowed crowds at festivals like Splendour in the Grass.
Finally, the package features "Berlin Boogie Town" with a new interpretation from Parisian legend Cassius, adding some uplifting French Touch filter vibes.

The return of master Loz to Outplay! After releasing strong stuff on labels like Razor-n-Tape, Quintessentials and Quartet Series plus some recent remix action on Melbourne's Kyoku, monsieur Goddard has made a new EP for us as a perfect follow up to his 2015 Loose Jams! He presents a wonderful EP of three varied tracks, showcasing his prowess in combining synths and sampled bits. First up is uptempo discofied 'Hazy', which builds well on the sound he's become known for. On the flip there's deep dusty chugger 'Peaches' and the sweet, sweet melodies of synthy groover 'Murmur' to provide a proper close to the EP!

The man the myth…Mr. Nightcrawler himself is back with another masterpiece. True to his usual unique blend of many styles, Nachtbraker has delivered typically off-kilter "Cobi Cabani" with crashes and sound design that punctuate a freaky bass and rippling lead. Dropping in for his debut outing on our label, Viennese resident of Sass club and founder of the "Secret Crunch" imprint, Roman Rauch brings the filtered Disco House. Ripe with fruity percussion and deeply ingrained groove, "Sweet Ears" breathes and builds keeping up energy to work bodies throughout the cut. Close friend of the Dirt Crew family and member of Detroit Swindle's Live super group, Lorenz Rhode is an extraordinary artist who's not only active in the House Music scene but also created his own Big Band, the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld. He gets right to it in "On Top" a legit live key and bass jam with all the funk from a seasoned jazz musician.
From across the Atlantic we have Toronto's Jesse Futerman teaming up with Dan Only, Jesse remixed Harry Wolfman's last EP on DC and is known for his laid back house grooves. On "Changes" he wanders into coastal tinged Deep House territory. Subby toms amble alongside a gruff bass, while vocals echo in from the horizon. As usual we're very happy to welcome back Leipzig's finest, M.ono. Taking a solo moment from repping great Disco/House alongside Luvless on their label Rose Records. He's produced "Jamas", a rumbling, samba touched, hip moving jam with powerful horn stabs and jangly percussion bring a true street party feeling. The Icelandic wunderkind Felix Leifur is present once again after recently debuting on Frits Wentink's label Bobby Donny. His artful mix of glitched lofi breaks, signature rhodes, dusty hip hop samples and scratched jazz cuts flex into outer-worldly extravaganza "Record". Then what's left to say about Mr. Mython? Continuously producing diamond after diamond we make sure to reach out regularly so we can catch a gem before the gifted musician erases them from his harddisk. Ponty's latest, this super spacious disco sojourn "Who am i Kidding?" is classy, deep, sauntering and aloof. Great music from beginning to end!
The Nagano based artist Jun Kamoda has become a good friend, and we're pleased to have back on Deep Love 2017 with his crazy mix of influences. On "Whole Lotta Love" arps bounce amongst sweet melodies while crisp drums play with pitchy vocals, it's functional yet left-field House in it's finest. A multitalented creative, he's also painted the wonderful artwork featured on the front of the record's sleeve. Thatmanonkz, back after a full EP earlier this year, goes sooo deeep…"Liebestrasse" is smokey and soulful with a casual clap, glowing Rhodes and winding lead. It's G-funk meets Deep House in the best kind of way. Next up Loz Goddard returns with a blissful summer tune, his feel-good mix of Disco and House reminds us of early Groove Armada goodness. The ambrosial melodies and meandering mood on "Now is Where We Are" brings a 70s mansion complete with scantily clad swimmers to mind, a perfect "Love" track for this compilation. Wrapping up the session BAL 5000 has made one hell of a stomper. The Hungarian producer who debuted on our sister label S P I E L gives us "Under the Influence". Rave stabs intersect a guttural bass and acidic lead on this electro infused House groove, reminiscent of early WARP-ish Bleep house.

Lorenz Rhode - And I Said (Tensnake Remix)
Track list:
A1. Belair
A2. Jubilee
B1. On Top (Strip Steve Remix)
B2. And I Said (Tensnake Remix)
Release Info:
Exactly one year after Lorenz’s debut EP on Dirt Crew he is back with a super funky follow up. With the recent
“Marakuja” track on our “Deep Love 2018” compilation he already set the tone to a much more fluid and organic live approach to his sound recording.
The opening title track “Belair” is a heavy “wurly” organ jam he developed mainly by playing live and afterwards finalizing it in his Cologne studio. After his recent tour and shows as part of the Detroit Swindle live outfit he really got into improvising and composing his tunes on the fly. The Funk is all over this one and it is a great uplifting “sunny” jam to play out. Following this one is the slower and deeper “Jubilee” that’s adding even more soul to the “Rhode” funk with an irresistible bass line and melody and when the clavinet break sets in it’s nothing but Good Times on the dance floor! A certain rewind for us and favorite track off this new EP.
On the flip we added two remixes from his previous high in demand tracks “On Top” and “And I Said”. Lorenz has been working a lot on various projects with his good friends Strip Steve and Tensnake and both had their go on these tracks from last year. Strip Steve took the parts of “On Top” and turned them into a deep Detroit flavored House Jam with stabby beats and beautiful strings added. Last but not least Tensnake fires up a high octane remix of “And I Said” that leans much towards old school New York house rhythms and the additional “Sax” topping gives it a groovy 90s feel to it. For sure bringing back that great happy and funky flow of the original.
We hope you dig this funk and soul laden EP by Lorenz Rhode as much as we do! Enjoy!

Originally released in 2012, Lord Giveth, Lord Taketh Away captures a defining early chapter in Freddie Gibbs' rise, pairing his unfiltered street narratives with Statik Selektah's raw, boom-bap-driven production. Stripped of excess and heavy on realism, the project reflects an era where Gibbs' sharp lyricism and moral tension took center stage.
The original seven-track lineup features a strong cast of underground heavyweights including Slaine, Daz Dillinger, Reks, PUSH! Montana, Termanology, Fred The Godson, Trae Tha Truth, Smoke DZA, and Chace Infinite-anchoring the album firmly in the early 2010s hip-hop underground.
This limited edition vinyl reissue expands the original release with three bonus tracks: "Carry On" featuring Joey Ba-da$$, "Serve Or Get Served" (available on vinyl for the first time ever), and "Crushin' Feelings." Featuring brand new artwork by Alejandro Torrecilla and mastered for vinyl by Davide "Bassi Maestro" Bassi, this edition stands as an es-sential archival release for fans of Freddie Gibbs, Statik Selektah, and uncompromising hip-hop.

Release Info:
The OUER guys just live down the road from us in Berlin and we have been crossing paths many times these past years so it is with great joy we can finally present a full EP with their unique approach to electronic music on Dirt Crew Recordings. Since their debut on “HEIST” in 2016 Xaver and Oliver have consistently pushed their sound and production, on their own OUER imprint they released four EP’s up till now and the latest called “E” is just a few weeks old as we speak.
The A side opens with the title track “Stingray Nebula”, a bliss composition of layered arpeggios underlined by a deep sub bass, building steadily towards etheric strings setting in and descending again with a break beat ending that builds perfect grounds for the following dance floor stomper “Undine”. That second A side track is a great mix of Deep House and Electronica and is what makes OUER’s music so special, almost entering trance territories here but keeping those Chicago and Detroit references alive.
When we head over to the B side we encounter some new tracks that really made us want to release this EP in the first place. The beautiful “Thales” contains live bass and percussive instrumentation and is a crossover indie-tronica gem. Following that is the deep “Inside” where an “emo” piano themed House jam meets clever vocal sampling and filtered synth stabs to produce a great going groove. Closing out we have some real ambience electronica for you in “Train Ride to Bratsk”, again played mostly live and using acoustic instruments recorded in their Berlin studio the OUER guys are crossing borders again and turned out this piece of goodness.
Enter the world of OUER, we hope you like it as much as we do!

Release Info:
Dam Swindle's new 'Backyard Galaxy' EP is an ode to house music and the classic Swindle sound.
It's only been a few months since Dam Swindle released their highly acclaimed album "Open" and already the boys are back on Heist with a new release that takes you right back to the dancefloor. Where they've spent the better part of the last 3 years writing their album with all its sonic explorations and collabs, this new EP sees the duo return to their roots of club-ready house music. The 'Backyard Galaxy' EP comes with 4 high-energy house tracks made in their Amsterdam studio that have been road-tested all summer.
EP opener "Feel it much?" has all the ingredients of a classic Swindle heater, with warm pads, rich organic percussion and tons of soul. There's a simple and effective vocal running throughout the track that blends nicely with the classic house elements and electronic textures that are layered throughout the track. There's an effortless flow to this track and it comes as no surprise that it has been a highlight in their sets this summer.
The EP title track 'Backyard Galaxy' is an up-tempo Latin-themed jam with a hint of old school techno. The synth stabs hit you just right and the modulated vocal chops are a lovely boost for the build ups and add a touch of swing to a track that already has a tight groove. Add to that a huge breakdown and drum roll and you've got yourself a track that'll light up any dancefloor.
On the flip, we're moving into garage territory with the shuffling vibes of 'Rhythm Baby'. The current popularity of the genre is not missed on Dam Swindle, but when you look closely, you'll see this track is full of elements that the duo have built their legacy on. The vocal chops, transposed key samples and swing are all on point and work just as well below, as above 130 bpm if speed is your thing.
The EP closes with the NY-style house cut 'What you give', which reminds us of Dam Swindle's remix of Cinthie's Heist hit 'Won't U take me' with its lush organs and moody keys. It's perhaps the most classic house track they've made in a long time and you can hear they had a great time recording this. It's playful, vibey and catchy. Just the way we like it.
Dam Swindle might have delivered one of the standout cross-over albums of 2025, but on this EP the message is clear: Once a househead, always a househead.
As always, enjoy the music and play it loud!
Much love,
