Following the stunning digital outing, Oliver Dollar’s ‘Another Day Another Dollar’ now has its long-awaited vinyl release, spread across two EPs. This adventurous artistic statement from one of house music’s most vital names shows off a wider breadth and depth of sound than ever before in his Classic Music Company debut. Using the longer format as a way of expressing different styles, from blues to disco, house to downtempo, the album was in the works for six years. Danny Howells debuts on Rekids with the ‘Throb’ EP. The legendary DJ’s DJ first EP for Radio Slave’s imprint sees him pair with keyboard player Elliott Herrington. Howells, a quietly revered figure in house music since the mid ‘90s, delves deep across the ‘Throb’ EP, which celebrates subtle drum programming, otherworldly keys and soundscapes throughout. The cossetting warmth of ‘Throb’, a track which tips the smallest of nods to Danny’s role in the heyday of progressive house, was born out of a late-night studio session - long forgotten about and then rediscovered, re-appraised, as so many great tracks are. ‘Thrunk’, another supremely heady cut, follows and sees keys slide around the mix, modulated and tweaked just enough to create a constant feeling of movement without losing balance, firmly rooted by a bassline that Howells, contrary to his usual practice, wrote first. Danny Howells is a darling of British dance music. Kiko Navarro & Pere Navarro land on Radio Slave’s Rekids with their ?rst-ever EP, ‘Les Cousins’. Their debut release counts three tracks, merging infectious House grooves with Pere’s Jazz-in?ected trumpet solos for a stylish EP rooted in classic sounds, yet with a distinct modern edge to it. Both hailing from the Balearic Islands, Kiko, a seasoned DJ and producer from Mallorca with music on King Street Sounds, Pacha Recordings, Shall Not Fade and more, and Pere, a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer from Ibiza. Tal Fussman returns to Rekids with the ‘I Feel’ EP. Rekids welcomes back Tal Fussman with the ‘I Feel’ EP, following up his 2024 ‘De?nition’ EP on Radio Slave’s label, which won support from the likes of Honey Dijon, Orlando Voorn, Yu Su, Saoirse, Dave Clarke, and more. While Armand’s productions like ‘U Don’t Know Me’ and ‘Bonkers’ have soared to #1, he has remained a true legend of the underground. One of the most illustrious remixers in the game, this 12” package celebrates this part of Armand’s skillset. Chicago house great Lil Louis really nailed it when he wrote 'Cub Lonely' back in 1992 with his group The World. It was taken from their album A Journey With The Lonely and has lead vocals by Joi Cardwell that helped it become an instant club smash. All these years later it always gets a big reaction on the floor which is why it has now been reissued by Epic complete with a series of remixes. The I'm On The Guest List mix is the one with the wonky sax lines and steamy vocals, the instrumental is paired back and more club-ready then DJ Pierre's Afro club mix bringing some big and freewheeling synth energy. The Bellbottoms & Platforms mix is a subtle tweak and then the most raw of the lot is the Radically Lonely mix to close down.

Well. Where do we start with 'Deep Inside'? Originally released in the golden NYC House era of 1993, this 5 tracker literally smashed everything in sight. And still does now! The epitome of an evergreen, all-time classic release. Masters At Work Louie Vega and Kenny Dope were on a major roll in this era, producing, remixing, dj-ing and everything in-between, these guys put in ridiculous work. They are joined on this EP by a roll-call of names and collaborators, Erick Morillo engineering the title track? Check. Maurice Joshua on co-production duties? You got it. Vocals by Ms. Barbara tucker? They're there. Killer, rock hard drums? Stacks of Soul? Masterfully chopped up Disco samples? All present. Serious stuff. Sometimes a record just manages to capture and distill the true essence of what this is all about and 'Deep Inside' is one such record, it bears all the hallmarks of golden era MAW, all the signposts of what was happening in NYC's clubs in the early to mid 90's were there within it's grooves. If anyone deserves to have the name Don, it’s Don Carlos. Responsible for one of the most influential and genre-defining deep house tracks of all time the Italian legend more than lives up to his name being a true master of his craft. In 1991 his debut release Alone was presented to the world via Calypso Records and quickly gained classic status, blissing out dancefloors worldwide with it’s euphoric piano stabs, sun-drenched strings and laidback groove. Establishing the blueprint for what would become known as ‘Italian dream-house’ Don Carlos would follow up a year later with another masterpiece in the form of a mini LP entitled Mediterraneo which took influence from the Chicago master Larry Heard but added a European ‘Balearic’ perspective which would pave the way for a wave of warm, emotive late night house tracks emanating from Bel Paese. Don Carlos releases have been fairly sporadic since his seminal early 90’s output so Freerange is very happy to bring you brand new material in the form of the I’m Steel Here EP. Across the three original tracks we get to hear him revisit the vibe from those early years whilst bringing things bang up to date for todays DJ’s and dance floors. The title track marries a driving Italo synth bassline with trademark Carlos strings and piano to form an uplifting club track which will lift the spirits of all who hear it. Azimuth comes next cutting up and filtering a piano hook calling the mighty Trackheadz to mind, a gated vocal sample adding a distinctly 90’s hook for a nostalgic slice of regal house. Closing out this gem of an EP we have In The Sky which loops up a classic feel good disco riff for a mid tempo house jam which bumps along nicely and will create the perfect mood in any warm up set worth its salt.
