Cornell Campbell - Change Your Ways
2
Yakka - Change That Dub
Poor Man’s Friend Records is proud to present a brand new 7” featuring the legendary Cornell Campbell. This 45 delivers a powerful message from The Gorgon, a prolific artist whose recording career spans over 60 years. First recording for the venerable Coxone Dodd at Studio one, Mr Campbell has built a cult following with his trademark Falsetto voice. Equally adept at writing beautiful love songs as he is deep spiritual roots cuts, It's fair to say many of his works have become Iconic milestones in the evolution of the genre. In the year 2025 Cornell Campbell warns us of the pitfalls of living our life in an egotistical way, “ Just try sweeping up your backyard, before you find fault with people's yard.” A searing condemnation of those that judge others based on their wealth, this mid seventies style roots production was cut by the Poor Man’s Friend Rhythm section at their studio in Bristol. The B side dub was masterfully orchestrated by label stalwart Yakka, whilst the horns were played by Cornerstone Horn section.
This one is super limited, only 300 copies have been printed.

Django Django - Don’t Touch That Dial feat. Yuuko Sings (Make A Dance ‘Vinyl Only’
LTD BLUE VINYL EDITION
A match made in dancefloor heaven, as two worlds collide with LDN partystarters Make A Dance committing their official remix of indie rock four-piece, Django Django’s percussive bumper ‘Don't Touch That Dial’ to vinyl for a limited pressing, complete with vinyl only dub mix on the flip.
Already squarely aimed at the club, the Make A Dance duo take the original to stratospheric heights, flipping it into a body-popping, electro bomb which sits Japanese singer Yuuko’s vocals centre stage intertwined with glitching synth lines and acid armoury to turn this into a full frontal, downright infectious firecracker.
On the B, the vinyl only exclusive dub mix let’s those juiced up, electro grooves fly as deft hints of Yuuko’s vocals bounce around your brain.
Cop now or forever hold your peace.

Sable Blanc - Soft Seasons
On the imprint’s latest record, Oath is proud to present the audial wizardry found within the sound of Sable Blanc, who presents a collection of tracks that evoke warmth, introspection, and touch upon the heartstrings…
Blanc has always found new and exciting ways to further incorporate sounds within his audial universe, with each release showcasing his broadening of horizons. Blanc’s musical roots formed within the spheres of Jazz and through drumming lessons, and upon discovering house music in his teens, he quickly sought to manifest his array of interests into a concise yet wide-reaching musical output. Blanc brings together the sensibilities of Jazz laden grooves and melodic patterns with the up-tempo energies of House in such a way as to always provide the feeling of forward thinkingness, but never losing sight of the smaller things that make life worthwhile. In his own words, his music is ‘home-listening’ in feel, and the grooves and keys find their way into every corner of homes in which listeners press play on one of his records. Soulful, bountiful and emotive, Blanc’s music is profound in its sensibilities and quietly brilliant in which it demonstrates. It fosters connections and provides specific soundtracks for specific places, but its diversity allows for new meanings to be found in it, wherever it might be listened to.
‘New Places’ fits very much within his musical lexicon, and was inspired by new surroundings in the South of France, and by becoming a father for the first time. ‘Banana Candy (Intro)’ provides the stage for which this record is to play out, and the identifiers come into view very quickly indeed. The light drumming pattern forms a bedrock for the playful piano loop to wish the sunrise a good morning, and when the bass and full drum kit land, everything begins to flourish. It’s the little textures and lines that persist on the peripherals of the track that add so much to proceedings – bird song and guitar, all wrapped up in one feeling. ‘Epitome’ arrives next, and this one begins with a gorgeous piano lead. The drums that land are crisp and precise, with evolving melodic sweeps adding depth in the backdrop. Everything lands in exactly the right place, giving over just the right amount to move the composition onwards. A head-nodder with a morning coffee.
‘Canvas’ arrives next, which features Wes Maples, and this one begins speaking very softly. The low end feeling unravels into a sublime groove, with the next phases surfing the horizon line with ease. The breakdown focuses on the sax, and its food for the soul, a full buffet of all you could ever wish for. ‘Fleur De Sucre’ lightly treads into view next, with the piano and light hats joining forces. The vocal work adds to the top ends, before unraveling into a bountiful bouquet that touches upon all the senses. The arpeggio that comes into view provides a sense of surprise, in all the right ways, as the track sees itself out into the morning sun.
‘Remember the Feeling (of Love)’ lands next, with the energy being topped up here. The hats land quickly, providing the basis for a rich and dense rhythmic pattern to emerge. The bassline and vocals that come into view align themselves with this deepness, with the melodic elements also following suit in adding to the enriching array of sound. To wrap things up, we have ‘Soft Seasons’, and the energy is pitched up for this one. The vibe is distinctly house-laden, with the bass line and core chord pattern doing much to tap along at the soul. Graceful, purposeful and evolving, it’s a perfect ender to a record of such richness and thoughtfulness – the kind of vibe that persists as you look out from the balcony.
Sable Blanc makes music that chimes to the energies of life, bringing together a myriad of feelings and channeling them into his craft. ‘New Places’ may speak of places and experiences new, but it’s a quintessential reflection of Blanc as an artist, a pure expression of his sound and what he aims to evoke through his music. Perhaps tomorrow morning, grab a coffee and watch the sunrise with this absolute pearler – it’s perhaps the best way to start a day…..

Alicia Myers - Don't Stop What You're Doin'
Alicia Myers - I Want To Thank You & Don't Stop What You're Doin' are staple classics and for the first time since their initial release in 1981 are together on one piece of vinyl. A serious double header!
Both tracks are produced by Kevin ‘Mr Groove’ McCord, heralded as Dam Funk’s favourite producers and one of the founding members of Al Hudson & The Soul Partners & One Way before going on to contribute to hundreds of r&b, funk, disco, and boogie dancefloor movers in the ’70s and ’80s.
At the height of his career he produced his One Way band members, Alicia Myers debut solo album, Alicia featuring both tracks on this release. I Want To Thank You, a certified classic that never fails to elicit a joyous reaction anytime it’s played & Don't Stop What You're Doin' famously sampled by J Dilla for ‘What It’s All About’ by Slum Village feat. Busta Rhymes on the legendary ‘Fantastic Vol.2’ album.
Another fully licenced and remastered essential release from the South Street family!

“There is no defined goal, rather a desire to explore new sonic languages that hold firmly to Neapolitan roots while opening up to a global and contemporary musical aesthetic.” - Pellegrino
With the name Koinè, a term that means “common language,” the work already guards a declaration of intent in its title, where languages (spoken and musical) and dialects mingle, creating a mosaic of sounds, sensations and visions that weaves the Neapolitan melodic tradition with disco, funk, jazz fusion and world music. Pellegrino abandons the patterns associated with revivalism, experimenting with new compositional dimensions and drawing from an imagery that blends vintage instruments, ethnic percussion and Mediterranean atmospheres.
Koinè is a musical journey that embraces the risk of change while exalting its liberating power: a sequence of images and emotions, traversing the past, experiencing the present with its baggage of disillusions and expectations and projecting itself into the future in search of a need for elsewhere that reconnects us with ourselves.
The album is a eulogy of contaminations: from popular music to synth pop, contemporary songs blending with a “dance” fusion. A delicate balance between roots and change, tradition and creative drive, in which the Pellegrino & Zodyaco project draws an authentic and contemporary portrait of the Neapolitan “new school” of which it was among the first promoters with the works “Zodyaco I” (2018) and “Morphé
Koinè is proof that escape, when it is conscious, can bring us back to the heart of things.
"In times like these, escape is the only way to stay alive and keep dreaming" H.L.

João Donato - Cala Boca Menino
A. Sonia Santos - Poema Ritmico Do Malandro (Balanço Do Crioulo) / B. / João Donato - Cala Boca Menino
Back in stock due to popular demand, the 23rd release in our signature Brazil 45’s series served up a double header of classics from Sonia Santos and João Donato.
First up, 'Poema Ritmico Do Malandro (Balanço Do Crioulo)' is a beautiful track from the instantly recognisable Sonia Santos. A song that drifts from classic to psychedelic samba, laden with strings, horns and crowd noise. First released on 7” by Copacabana in 1971, but never on an album, originals fetch up to £100 per copy. A different version of this song also appears on the truly excellent Zito Righi Alucinolandia LP.
On the B side, 'Cala Boca Menino' is taken from João Donato’s much sought after and requested Quem É Quem LP. Quirky percussion, bubbling keys, horns and a hypnotic vocal. Donato is a hugely prolific force in Brazilian music and worked with the likes of including Tom Jobim, Astrud Gilberto, Cal Tjader, Dom Um Romao and Gilberto Gil amongst others. ‘Cala Boca Menino’ was released on a 7” in 1973 in Brazil, but is very difficult to find at a reasonable price and in good condition these days.

Simon Hinter - Here I Come
Dear Friends,
Shouldn’t we all take a moment to reflect on ourselves from time to time, break away from habits, and venture down new paths?
Simon Hinter, widely recognised as a house producer with releases on renowned labels such as Freerange, Quintessentials, and Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records, is now daring to explore something new with us, while embracing something old: Drum’n’Bass is his great old love, now rekindled with his Confusion EP.
Unsurprisingly, this comes with intense emotions, and the four tracks of the EP oscillate between profound euphoria and melancholia. You can sense both, the beginning and the end of a party night at the same time. These tracks, however, defy the current listening habits shaped by the need for instant gratification. Instead, they are an ode to the loop. Here, the mind is invited to engage, to actively listen and perceptually complete the experience.
We hope you enjoy this rollercoaster of emotions!
Sincerly yours, Brombért
P.S.: The physical release comes with handcrafted, screen-printed artwork by the fabulous graphic artist Zatina Kessl

Monika Linges - Till We Get There
This new TopicDrift45 release comes straight outta Aachen. Originally released in 1982 on Rainer Wiedensohlers "Nabel Musik" Imprint with a whole LP called "Floating" and for the first time on a DJ friendly 45 cut. Side A "Running" was and still is a well known mover in the UK Northen & Asian Scene. While holding down the laidback mellow jazzy vibes with "Till We Get There" on the B Side. A true example for all those DJs out there collecting & spinning organic music in all its forms. Get it! :-)

Info
WRWTFWW Records presents its third collaboration with Japanese electronic/ambient/synth-pop crew Interior, this time with the release of band member Daisuke Hinata’s forgotten solo treasure from 1989: Tarzanland. The feel-good/smooth ride LP is available as a limited-edition turquoise and light pink vinyl housed in a heavyweight 350gsm sleeve with obi strip.
Available on vinyl for the first time ever, Tarzanland is late 80s California sun-soaked kankyo ongaku, minimalistic proto-chillwave, the synth melody of a pleasant Sunday breeze as the ocean waves breathe in and breathe out. Steve Winwood and Steely Dan come to mind as the ambient sound design of an imaginary John Hughes movie unfolds as all pieces of the puzzle come together for a blissful journey of simple pleasures.
Daisuke Hinata is a Grammy-nominated artist, composer, producer, and member of Interior. This is WRWTFWW’s third release centered around the work of the band, following the reissue of their Haruomi Hosono-produced self-titled debut (1982) and the first release ever of Sculpture of Time (Apocalypse), their rarely heard before commissioned piece for German environmental artist NILS-UDO. All still available on We Release!
*Music You've Never Heard Anywhere Else Before*
Points of interests
For fans of ambient, environmental, chill, meditative, sound design, synthesizers, feel-good music, John Hughes movies, listening to music as the sun is shining, driving by the Ocean, Steve Winwood, Steely Dan, the 80s and the 90s, good coffee breaks with your cat or your dog, good moments in life.
First ever vinyl release for the solo 1989 album from Daisuke Hinata from famed Japanese environment/ambient/synthpop unit Interior.
