R&S welcome back highly-revered techno artist Benjamin Damage with his new double headed single ‘Malfunction / Binary'. ‘Montreal’ from his debut R&S EP proved to be one of the label's biggest techno releases of the last few years - the pummelling drums, intense atmosphere and beatuiful melodies are synonymous with the music that has made the label timeless. Road tested in Benjamin’s heavy artillery live shows across the globe, Malfunction / Binary pick up where the last EP left off - pistoning rhythms, breakneck beats and monolithic bass, but this time the mood is more reflective and optimistic - skying cloud-like pads offer a dreamy counterpoint. Made between London and Berlin, following recent live shows at Berghain and Oval Space, Benjamin’s wanderlust and restless studio dynamic sees him continually breaking down his gear to travel, “Being on tour with all my gear I find it quite easy to work in new places,” he explains. “I like the energy of different cities and it's good to keep moving.” This new EP is announced ahead of a huge, all hardware live show at Sonar by Night in Barcelona. R&S welcome techno icon Benjamin Damage to the fold with his new Montreal EP. One of most acclaimed young techno artists in recent times, Benjamin Damage is a perfect addition to the R&S roster. As the first artist Modeselektor signed to their hugely influential 50 Weapons imprint, Damage deployed his trademark heavy artillery beats over bold, blistering riffs and haunting, emotive melodies to devastating effect. With the closing of 50 Weapons, R&S offers a new home. His unique ability to deliver dancefloor destroying mayhem, dark atmospheres and richly textured melodies perfectly encompasses the music that has made the label timeless.
“Being part of R&S is a dream for me, I had some incredible times with 50 Weapons, some of the best of my life, and I was really sad to see it go. R&S have been so important to me artistically since a very young age. It was a very special feeling when they asked me to join up with them” Montreal, his first EP for the label, follows the crowning achievement of his stunning 2015 LP Obsidian; the last artist album to close 50 Weapons. Damage lives up to his name - three cuts of pulsating peak time mayhem, pummelling drums, shuffling iridescent synthwork and dreamy pads that manage to imbue the hedonistic spirit of the 90s while feeling fresh and vital.

Benjamin Damage is back. His new EP on 50weapons features 3 banging clubtracks, some made with his newly aquired analogue TB 303 like the stunning ravy 'Acid Bath'. It is a feast for techno lovers with its hommage to the bleepy sounds from the golden era of the 90ies. Far from being retro in any way, the kick-heavy but well rounded sounds are Dancefloor fillers meant for the club prime time. Following his celebrated remix of Alan Fitzpatricks 'Confessions of a wanted man' this E.P. has Benjamin head further into techno territory leaving his UK Bass past only dimly recognizable in the bouncing euophoria of the lead melody's arpeggio on 'UP' the first track on the record. Aside from this 'Up' is a straight techhouse hit that is guaranteed to bring the hands 'Up' (pun intended) on the floor. Benjamin Damage´s brand new "4600 EP" is a homage to a rare analog synthesizer and a more dancefloor orientated follow up to the album "Heliosphere". It was performed live with resampled analogue synths, mainly the ETI 4600. Benjamin Damage: "Most of the source sounds come from my recently repaired ETI 4600, a massive synth I rescued from a garage it had been sitting in for 30 years. It's a really unique machine with a reverb chamber and pin matrix. It spent 18 months with a
synth-obsessive in Suffolk, north of London who fixed the major design faults and believes it is the only existing model that has ever worked properly."

With Benjamin Damage presenting already his second album, it is easy to forget that he has only been releasing records since 2010.After 2 years of mainly collaborative work, the time was come for Benjamin to focus on some solo activities. He did a few remixes for Sizzar, Data Romance and others, followed by a strong techno single named "Swarm / Headache" released in October 2012, once again on 50WEAPONS. "Heliosphere" is a sonic sci-fi techno album reminiscent not just of early Plaid, Black Dog Productions, Boards of Canada or Luke Slater's 7th Plain project, but also classic dancefloor classics by the likes of Surgeon, Regis, Dave Clarke or Jeff Mills that knew how to keep a crowd entertained. It is bringing to mind the flavor of 1994 without losing the sense that we’re into 2013 as of now. "Heliosphere" is equally straight and beautiful, ear-catching murkier numbers, some merciless bangers, beautiful soundscapes ranging from melodic to dark, rough and sweet, all at once. "Heliosphere" is dance music with conviction.

End of January 2012 Benjamin Damage released "They!Live" his album collaboration with Doc Daneeka. The album has received fantastic media feedback and was album of the month in several magazines all over the world including De:Bug (Germany), DJ Mag (UK) amongst others. NIX001 features a collaboration between NIX founder Árni and Icelandic synth-disco producer Hermigervill. The resulting track, Gott, is a fragmented soundscape of abstract beats and distorted granularized sequences, with an obscure Icelandic female vocal interspersed between the percussive rhythms. The unlikely combination of the two artists, coming from very different sonic directions has yielded an incredibly surprising and fresh cocktail of elements.
About PTU: Alina Izolenta and Kamil Ea, also known as PTU, perform at the joint of techno, experimental electronics and sound design. PTU creates multi-layered dance works, lacing them with non-linear plots and often accelerating up to 150 bpm. The duo’s ‘Broken Clock Is Right Twice A Day’ (2017) and LP ‘Am I Who I Am’ (2019) were released by Nina Kraviz’ ???? label.

Cameron Jack returns to Crosstown Rebels as he delivers his ?rst EP on the label with ‘The Late Shift’. The EP kicks off with two collaborations featuring singer/songwriter Liz Cass, whose vocal talents have graced tracks from Hot Since 82 to Nora En Pure. The continued influence of these two artists on both our early raving days and now as a team working on providing you the most exciting, boundary-pushing tech wares is second to none. As you'll experience from the four jams constitutive of this unparalleled mindtrip of an EP, 'In The Years Ahead' is the living evidence the steadfastness of Parker and Bicknell's vision remains absolutely untouched. Zeroed in on taking ravers on an entrancing ride across pulsating corridors of whirring machine funk, sizzling acid and shape-shifting waves of sound, both sides of this EP share the best lot of both producers' uniquely innovative approach to rhythm and production. Parker's opening cut, 'Solar Limb' is a textbook example of his complex, and heavily layered sound-design. An unflinching swing keeping time, brutal kicks punching holes in your head like giant steel hammers, the track may evolve slowly, repeating its post-industrial mantra over and over again, its flame doesn't flicker one iota. Switching onto red-level dance floor menace, 'Badlands' pulls out the heavy artillery: an overkill bombardment of puncturing 909 drums, vortical winds blowing in the back like some solar storm of sorts, and this ebb-and-flow of FX-drenched synth ripples branded on your cortex like odd signs of cult belonging. Bicknell's takeover starts with the rugged and wild 'Chaotic World', whose title is definitely not usurped. Enter a blazing maelstrom of frantic synth assault knocked askew, intense bass tectonic movements and smashing arpeggios on the path of war. The track develops a massive momentum, swelling from primordial raw matter into weirdly arranged modular constructions, like that of Kubrick's monolith emerging with ominous presence. 'In The Years Ahead' serves up a much distinctively elegant, glossy type of textural experience, synths playing pong in a hall of mirrors, interlacing and distorting as the percussive line unfolds its linear train-like groove. It dashes across landscapes of hypermodern glass and concrete with unrelenting horsepower, from techno's early sanctuary right up onto tomorrow's temple of unmapped potentialities. *This much special release, so dear to our heart, comes clad in a beautiful piece of design, and will be pressed to 180g audiophile quality vinyl for an enhanced listening experience.

Santos’ ?rst release for Matt Edwards’ Rekids imprint, the four-track ‘We Were All Kids Once’ EP, is a continuation of the experienced producer’s output on his own Let Me Understand Records, which has seen a staggering amount of support from DJs since it’s launch in 2018. Traversing rugged, tracky, Relief-in?uenced House/Techno (‘One Day’), drummy grooves (‘Don’t Touch’ and ‘Rollercoaster’) and cosseting beat-down Deep House (‘Someone’), ‘We Were All Kids Once’ is one of those genuinely essential EPs that provides exceptionally consistent dance?oor ammunition across it’s breadth. “The upcoming release is about the ‘Interconnection’ between different senses, for example sound and touch: when sound becomes vibration our perception enhances,” says Enrico. “The track creates a metaphor of the concept using a voice and a synthesizer that playfully evolve and merge into each other to become one, while still keeping their distinctive identities. ‘Interconnection’ is a track made for the dancefloor, a place where all our senses come together and go beyond the auditory experience, becoming a multisensory experience where we're all... interconnected.” As a producer Enrico Sangiuliano has done it all, from remixes of classics to chart topping techno tracks that range from deep and dark to more melodic and euphoric. His creativity knows no bounds and after 'Can U Feel It' explored the connection between auditory perception and physical sensations with fresh and emotive rave sounds, this new sound impresses once more. The brilliant 'Interconnection' is a pulsating cut that locks dancers into the hypnotic drums as flashes of acid synths spray about up top. Edgy vocal stabs add to the pressure as trance-infused pads change shape through various filters. They range from smooth and smudged to sawtooth and make the trip all the more dynamic. Each element has plenty of room to breath and make its mark and a spine-tingling breakdown offers a moment to set before the groove kicks in and oscillating pads take dancers to the next level. Mark Broom and CJ Baker team up as Kingpin Cartel on Rekids for the The ‘Long Dark Soul Of The Night’ EP. Kingpin Cartel, Mark Broom and CJ Baker’s joint House alias debuts on Rekids this November with the ‘Long Dark Soul Of The Night’ four-tracker. The EP starts with the title track, a playful, funk-fuelled cut with squelchy licks and soulful keys.
