Written and produced in a country house surrounded only by vast, empty landscapes and an endless sky, ‘Suicide Disco’ is the fruit of a 3-year long collaboration and Years of Denial’s debut LP for Veyl.
Urged to escape from crowded cities and information overload, the duo sharpened their sound and working process through isolation and introspection, crafting 11 songs filled to brim with enormous hooks, New Wave nostalgia and razor-sharp production details.
Barkosina’s voice echoes and oscillates against Jerome’s snares, profound and wounded at once. Her expressionist narrative take us to unknown yet familiar places, amplified by dub delays and otherworldly reverbs. Enchanted By The Muse marks a new and exciting direction for the Italian-born, Berlin-based artist whose aesthetic focuses on post-punk, techno and industrial music. This album embodies May’s exploration and experimentation of various musical directions, reflecting a fusion of industrial, rock and electronic elements. It also symbolizes a new approach, spanning genres and styles and exploring his sound from every angle.
Conceptually, the album reflects a realm of emotional dissonance in an industrial desolation - where harsh electronic textures mingle with gritty industrial and rock elements. Veyl is pleased to welcome Harlem back to the label with a new 8 track LP titled Cage. The Stockholm-based duo of Martin Thomasson and Johan Skugge last appeared on the imprint with 2021’s, Bait, and the project now returns diving deeper in to their infectious cocktail of menacing electronics.
Bringing with them a vast body of work, ranging from dub to minimal techno, with Harlem the pair fuse electro, no wave, post-punk, disco, proto-body, dub, hip-hop, and grime, creating a unique sound that cannot be categorized. Cage opens with “Shut Your Body”, a muscular piece which drills into the surface, setting the stage for what’s to come. Veyl welcomes Blind Delon to the label for their third album, La Métamorphose. Founded in 2016 by Mathis
Kolkoz, the project released several EPs leading up to their first full length, Discipline (Khemia / Unknown
Pleasure Records, 2019) and their subsequent follow up, Chimères (Manic Depression, 2020). Originally a three
piece before the departure of guitarist Theo Fantuz after their second album, the project then focused on refining
their sound and energy through alternative projects and more EPs before adding a new member ahead of their
latest opus. The band currently consists of Mathis Kolkoz (Vocals, Guitars), Coco Thiburs (Bass) and Thom Mayor
(Synths, Guitars).
Fueled by cold bass lines and synthesizers of yesteryear, French post-punk and black romanticism, Blind Delon
shatters genres and styles to create an evolved strain of synthpunk that wears its influences proudly while
mutating into something totally new. La Métamorphose represents a fresh direction - a heavy, post-metal sound
that’s full of emotion and raw intensity. 'Le Crépuscule' opens the album with a hard hitting piece that
commences the experience perfectly. Next up, the group kicks things into high gear with the speedy, heavy-synth
play of 'La Violence' featuring vocals by Fivequestionmarks, followed by 'La Mort', a blackened post-punk cut
featuring the one and only Curses.
Label head Maenad Veyl makes a guest appearance on the fourth track, 'L’Homme', which drifts into deep
experimental melancholy with a cinematic feel. Keeping with this mood is the powerful 'L’Affront' featuring The

Next up in Veyl’s ever-evolving and diverse catalog comes of an experimental sonic experience from Llimbs.
The project of Hagen Ebejer, he began making music in the early 2000’s and started Llimbs in 2016, which
allowed him to officially release music and perform live, making his debut at Berlin’s legendary Tresor. Now
he arrives on Veyl with Midnight Amber, an 8-track album which fully realizes the Llimbs sound and vision.
Inspired by dark and experimental sounds, Midnight Amber is a tour de force of genre-bending
compositions, conjured using downtempo and dreamlike sounds which explore both the organic and digital.
The result is an undefinable affair which is both haunting and infectious at once. 'Unfold' commences the
album with a soft yet powerful piece of melodic melancholy, inviting the listener through the gates and into
the world of Llimbs. 'Divergent' picks things up with a ritual work of stirring chants which leads us to the
evocative chords on 'Origin'. Finishing off side A is 'Absent', a slow burning rhythmic piece which
encapsulates the listener, creating an almost nostalgic atmosphere for a time unknown.
'Phase' begins the B side with cinematic flair, creating a palpable tension which then evaporates into the
ether. 'Eclipse' returns to a familiar dreamworld, traversing the skies which feel both familiar yet mysterious
before 'Fragment' dives deeper into a hidden universe of emotion, fusing ancient works with modern
technology. Concluding the album is 'Midnight', a perfect end to a journey which exists at the intersection

Working off the trauma of his father’s suicide, 'The Golden Cage' was spawned from a hyper-realistic dream
experience which revealed the artist’s path, catalysing new productions and techniques. The result is a

Beginning with the tension-building, free flow of 'My Turn', we then delve into grief and anger with 'I Hate

Release Info:
Continuing its tradition of genre bending output, Veyl comes forth with one of its most innovative releases to
date. 'Still III' is a collaboration between Supreme Low (Jerome Tcherneyan of Years of Denial) and New
York-based MC, Sensational, who has been pushing hip hop’s boundaries for over 30 years. Tcherneyan
first saw Sensational in France in 1999 while meeting in New York in 2001. The two quickly connected and
kept in touch throughout the years when they finally got the chance to record material together in London in
2016.
With beats created mainly using an SP1200 (a sampler associated with hip hop golden's age and raw
Techno), Fuzz/Distortion pedals and dub units like Echoes/Spring Reverb, psychedelic modulations such as
Chorus/Flanger/Phaser and a modular synth, Sensational’s rhymes were totally improvised on the spot in a
3 a.m. studio session under heavy influence. The result is a powerful fusion of sound and style that shatters
all expectations and delivers an audio vehicle bridging past, present and future.
While not lending itself to categorisation, 'Still III' packs Narcotic beats, llbient, Dub, Noise Rap, Bass
terrorist, Freak Style, Raw poetry and more into an 8 track release which is unlike anything out right now.
Joining on the release are Tcherneyan collaborators Broken English Club, who appears on the ominous

industrial, wave and beyond. While always carrying the producer’s soundtrack influenced sound, the LP
kicks offwith the haunting 'All About That Pyramid' moving next to the title track’s driving energy while
then shifting to the more cerebral programming of 'Possession' ft. Bad Faith Actor.
Things are just picking up with club decimators like 'Splitter' and 'Immune to Propaganda' while also

Release Note:
Next up on VEYL is a new face on the label but no stranger to the music world. NEVER is the project of Stefano Santi, a multi-instrumentalist and electronic music producer who has been active since the early 2000’s. After several years of working as an audio engineer and touring the globe with bands, he has
always had a parallel life as a producer with a club affinity. NEVER began in his own SPVN studio during the pandemic amidst the isolation of lockdown. His inspiration reborn after abandoning all boundaries and giving little care to traditional songwriting structures.
The result is 'JXDY', the new album which showcases the project’s diverse voice and technical prowess. Not confined to a particular genre, the release masterfully touches on everything from post-punk and shoe gaze to hints of death rock and electronica. From the opening strings of 'RXBT', we’re taken to a
relentless world of shadows and bleeding emotion, which conjures nostalgia of days long gone while maintaining an ominous sense of future. From the euphoric, pulse pounding action of 'HVRXLD' to the utter heartbreak of 'CXLE', NEVER weaves in and out of agitation, rage and regret, fueling a fire that that

Maenad Veyl returns to his namesake label along with The Sarcasm Ensemble for the new album, 'Comfort in Misery'. Made up of ten compositions exploring sparse beats, cinematic textures and mind altering experimentations, this is an offering of thought provoking pieces which perhaps make the perfect
accompaniment to the modern world. As the name implies, 'Comfort in Misery' seeks to find ways of dealing with perpetual shifts and agonizing circumstances.

'Harsh Whispers' quickly takes hold and feels like a fragmented dream you may or may not remember while then moving to the more ominous, 'Life Expectancy'. From the sparkling

Can't Stop .There seems no better way to describe the work, party and music ethic of Solomun. Carrying the mirror ball on his shoulders like Atlas, it is impossible to imagine the modern disco world without his dynamics. While his countless DJ sets give fresh impetus to the many shades of house, techno and their siblings, conversely they are a driving force behind his studio and remix excursions. Can't Stop provides an impressive insight into his musical universe.

Resulting from a rather casual after-dinner-listening-session during a car ride on Ibiza with a zesty Gerd Janson, who coaxed the title track out of Solomun making use of their friendship to full capacity, it is a triptych of direct, functional and free-spirited dance floor approach. After some back and forth in the search of the missing pieces to make it so, Solomun managed to deliver the perfect Running Back peak time record.
