Parallax explores the shifting boundary between human intuition and algorithmic logic, a space where two perspectives converge and blur until the center is lost. Composed through a hybrid system of voltage-controlled hardware and digital manipulation, the five tracks apply FM synthesis, granular processing, and bit-level degradation to rigid electro structures. Sequences are shaped by modulation instability and clock drift, gradually disrupting pattern integrity and simulating a loss of systemic control. After the fast selling “Emolotion EP” on Italy’s “Mondo Phase” imprint and the “The Rise of Poseidon 1” on the Argentinian label “Calypso’s Dream” released last year we present you the final chapter of the early 00’s Electro and Electro Clash gems produced by Break 3000 while living in Maastricht and Cologne.
The first track is a remix made for the legendary “Pocketgame” label from Germany in 2003 that was run by Maru & Comix, released on the “We Are He-Man EP” by “STR & Tim Tycoon” that also featured a stellar “Legowelt” remix. After a six-year hiatus, Efdemin returns with POLY — his fifth studio album, released on the recently revived Berghain-affiliated label, Ostgut Ton.
As the title suggests, POLY explores multiplicity: of rhythm, texture, style, and emotion. Across eleven meticulously sculpted textures, the album weaves a multidimensional web of sonic references, nodding to the origins of techno while pushing resolutely into uncharted terrain. POLY feels like an afterglow—of decades on the dancefloor, of restless sonic exploration, and of a profound connection to the spaces and communities that have shaped Efdemin’s sound.
Over the course of 60 minutes we are taken through different territories and landscapes of sound. Mysterious and swirling, abstract and droning textures over at times fast and stoic rhythmic concepts. Sometimes the sunlight breaks into the opaque and mysterious soundscapes before the pulse is taken over and sucks us back straight into the club.
The overall tone of POLY is mild and playful, introvert and at times dreamy. The music is rich in sonic expression and breathes the spirit of musical concepts that have been refined over the course of decades. What Sollmann has condensed here feels like a culmination of his multilayered and polyphonic personality situated between Club, Museum, Studio and Academy.
The album cover features a striking photograph of a human ear by renowned German artist Isa Genzken. Known for her radical visual language, Genzken’s work here functions as a metaphor for deep listening. The ear symbolises the layered complexity and immersive quality of the music on POLY — an invitation to perceive sound in all its depth, fragility, and force and unlock it’s potential to unite different voices in a distorted reality.

Chlamydia Dell’Arte Records emerges from the raves of the same name thrown in Paris until 2019. The label intends to reflect that spirit: stylistically wide open, built on unexpected turns, hypnotic sounds, and crafted for the dancefloor. Its first release is a two-track EP by Abajour.
The A-side is stripped and deliberate. A skeletal breakbeat forms the backbone of Pandemonium (Breakbeat Version); its character comes as much from its silences and spaces as from its rhythm. Samples enter like interruptions, pushing the groove into a hypnotic cycle that holds tension while allowing release.
On the AA-side the focus shifts towards the hazy edges of trance and house. Driven by its rolling bass and drum breaks, the track maintains a high energy house pace while a darker flow runs through it. MS 45 (Get Bent Version) is an invitation to a nocturnal walk through the gritty streets of early 80s New York.
The initial idea was born in a jam session with the producer and friend Zadeh; another version of the track featuring them to be released soon.

For the last release of the year, we are back with our annual Various Artists welcoming on board 3 producers for their first appearances on the label and a very special track from WAG.
Opening the VA is a dear friend, Agostino Casillo. “Midnight Bloom”, born from late-night studio sessions, captures that fleeting magic when ideas blossom in the dark. A groovy bassline drives the flow, while dreamy synths unfold a story made for the night.”
Following our beloved WAG with “Jam Mash (Vass Edit)”. This track is very dear to us because it is the reason why we got in touch with WAG in the first place. Made in 2016 meanwhile preparing the live set for Sleepers at OHM in Berlin, it was included in the live set jam session that we previously released on tape. Somehow the file got missing till not so long ago when, luckily, they were able to find the stems and ,thanks to our friend Vass, edited to have the same version from the tape. One of the most iconic tracks ever made by WAG.
On the B side we welcome, Cesare Muraca with “We Are Evil”, a dark but melodic techno journey, filled with hypnotic synths and haunting vocal fragments while the energy focus to the dancefloor.
Closing the ep in style Ambidextrous with “Steamroller Manoever”. This track is a tribute to a long-lasting friendship with Aton. He played this track during is set at our party at Doka letting us so speechless that we had to released it on our label. Be ready for a trip full of introspective emotions.
