Equally dabbling into DJing/live act or sound art installations (for renowned institutions in Paris and Rome, among others), Ben is also building up a definite career in production that first took off with an EP on Minibar and a remix of Carl Craig's classic Bug In The Bassbin on Planet E. Immersed in contemporary classical music, jazz, techno and various house subgenres, he claims a diversity that's been showcased in all its subsequent interventions on labels such as Eklo or Balance with a collaboration with the legendary Chez Damier. With his music mate Leiris, he will be launching soon a vinyl label called Reduce Records, in order to release their finest music pieces. The track "Trem" for Silver Network reflects the diversity of his influences, surely a dancefloor-oriented bomb track ! We’re proud to present the next release on Evasive Records: a heavyweight repress two-tracker uniting label head honcho Rob Pearson with long-time collaborator Robin Ball (Groove Pleasure / Memory Box).

Originally released in 2006 on Robin Ball’s Groove Pleasure imprint (Cat. No. GPL11), ‘Don’t Put Up Wit Dat’ marked the first collaboration between these two respected DJs, producers, and label bosses. With the resurgence of early-2000s tech house and renewed interest in the signature South London sound, original copies of this underground gem have been fetching well over £100 on Discogs. A relentless, driving cut of pure tech house craftsmanship, this one has been in high demand from crate diggers and connoisseurs alike — and now it’s finally back on wax.

‘The Right Vibes’, the duo’s second collaboration, followed in 2008. Produced at Evasive Records' South London HQ, Online Studios, it originally appeared on the EVA021 Various Artists EP. Another standout slice of tech house, this track has remained a staple on Discogs want-lists for years — and for good reason. With a rock-solid groove, peak-time floor power, and a breakdown that still delivers nearly two decades later, it's a natural choice for reissue.

Both tracks have been lovingly mastered by Marco Pellegrino at Analog Cut (Berlin) from the original Online Studios DAT tapes — sounding every bit as fat, if not fatter, than the original vinyl releases.

In 2025 Acid Jazz announced the Spring Revisited project, in collaboration with Ace Records, exploring the musical legacy of the iconic New York label Spring Records, with a series of new mixes and limited edition vinyl releases.

After the rapid sell-out of the first release – 12” mixes of Millie Jackson’s iconic ‘We Got To Hit It Off’ from Dimitri From Paris and Opolopo respectively – they are introducing a special 7” to the series. This release is fronted by Dimitri’s ‘Liberated Woman Edit’ of the track – a vinyl exclusive, dance-floor and flight-ready for DJ sets this summer. It is backed by a special edit of Dave Lee’s inspired disco mix of The Joneses ‘Love Contest’.

'Italo Mystery Theme' is a brilliant timewarp to the 80s with its overtly streamy and seductive vocals over neat guitars and stepping disco drums with lush chords. 'After Dark' is more breezy and hip-swinging with its airy vocals and wet claps, then 'Sugar Daddy Again' brings rugged analogue bass sounds and snappy drums under some erotic vocal work. 'All Right' shuts down with a UK street soul-cum-disco groover that's lit up with nice neon chords.
