Los Primos - The TS Chronicles
Los Primos joins Lapse Records with their debut EP - “Under-Stompin’”. The novel project consists of Toronto’s Cosmic JD and Aaron Santos, members of the Hypnotic Mindscapes label and party collective.
Created in an extended after-hour production session at the mythical Payphone studios on Queen Street West, the duo present a 4 track collection of emotionally stripped mood stretching club tracks, encapsulating raw harmonics and modular electronics.
Acid infused analogue tech-house opens the A side with playful positivity in “What We’re On”, followed by a darker minimalist exploration in “Primitive Holiday '', a collaboration with Japanese artist and fellow local, Masayuki Tomita, tensioned by hypnotic arpeggios and creeping minor pads, setting the tone for a spooky flip.
B1 “Vicky’s Out 4 Blud”, centres raw retro techno energy sampling 90’s vocal chops from Nic Cage’s “Vampire Kiss”, before the vocoder-led electro twist of B2 “The TS Chronicles” closes the transmission resonating Darwinian ideas in the manner of “Natural selections acts by competition”. More

Adam Curtain - Crickets In My 2600
Lapse Records is pleased to welcome its first solo artist EP “LAPSE003” from UK club music innovator and Trouble Maker Records founder, Adam Curtain. He brings his now signature low end sound and genre blending style, marking the first step in broadening Lapse's sound within its current musical sphere. This output is presented with a moodier artwork reflecting the focus on darker sounds.
LAPSE003 features four bass heavy club tracks including summer dance floor anthem to be, “Noticed”, and a melodic percussive roller "Salt Water Trout" on the A. The disorientating and trippy "UFO" opens the flipside, with the understated "Crickets In My 2600" closing out the record with more sound system sonics. More

Mariiin - Impasse
The second release on Lapse records welcomes UK Tech House mainstay Len Lewis, who’s extensive catalogue of club music stretches across the last few decades, along with newly appraised London based DJ and producer Mariiin. The split EP supports a four track selection of old and new head down club music touching different moods.
Len’s inserts lead on the A side with the carefully sampled Matrix acapella laid across “Morpheus”, a tweaking and dusted 2 step thrill, in keeping with the left leaning spooky tone of the first Lapse release and label sound. “Do U Want It” follows in similar ilk to the self professed Sinister tech house sounds previously ventured on the likes of early Swag and Poodle Records releases of the early 2000’s that became essential points of reflection for the genre’s progression since.
The B side spans a more contemporary 4x4 influenced thread of this style that circles closer to the outer rims of techno and acid. The Italian born producer joins the label with the “Snake Is Changing It’s Skin” and “Impasse” which continue fittingly to carve their signature sound, a style consistent in their early releases on the likes of BPR and EYA Records and across their DJ sets as Pleasure Club resident. Eversines - Jamming Is Life
New Label by Eversines!
"Welcome to Jamming Is Life, a new label embodying the spirit of improvisation, spontaneity, and emotional expression through sound.
For the first release I’ve selected four of my tracks to set the mood for what I have in mind for this imprint:
Chasing the mystery in music, the unexplainable, while keeping it fresh and clubby. I’m not big on promo texts, but truly hope this music will find a way to speak to you.
Limited to 300 vinyl only copies, no repress.
Sincerely,
Eversines" More

Julian Anthony - Virtual Reality
Repress!
In dialogue with both past and future, Slapfunk protégé Julian Anthony drops his debut solo EP and touches down with a 4-track invocation of classic 90s house templates.
Tripped out sensibility meets sci-fi tendency as ‘Full Moon Fever’ and ‘Open Minded’ deliver full-bodied exercises in total dance floor immersion. Fractal fuel for the vision quest, they’re sophisticated like the finest dream house while channelling the buoyant, jacking heft of timeless Chi-town material.
Wide eyed but tuff, ‘Stormy Tuesday’ rolls in with more of the groove-forward drive that typifies Anthony’s best work. It’s just the kind of immaculate gear we've come to expect from the Dutchman, and evoking golden era Dream 2 Science, ‘Virtual Reality’ ploughs the same furrow of propulsive, ‘90s-indebted house. Deep space projections radiating togetherness and warmth from the start. More

Gosub - Omni Presence
Repress!
For over 20 years Gosub has brought us his brand of classic electro cuts, so it was really interesting to see his techno mind in action on “Cosmic Cannibals”. Though out this release Gosub drapes soul across the Detroit fueled 808/909 foundation though out this vinyl release.
Starting with “The Depth Charge” a dark dimensional warping bass and a synth that cuts through the darkness sounding like if Charlie Parker designed a synth a definite for repeat. Full 909 in effect on “The Way Home II” with heavy toms an high Ph acid lines provoke the listener to pay further attention to the details in this track.
On the B-Side “The Ratio” which features New York’s Preston Fulwood on vocals and keys brings in the funk infused to Gosub’s more familiar electro beats we find really rewarding. This track is brings the funk and jazz while Preston’s vocals make you want to sing and find your own soul. The ending’s dark vocoder reminds the listener that “This is just your virtual reality”. Preston & Gosub makes you want more of this future sound. Lastly, “Omni Presence” grounds us again with low swung 303 baselines grinding against a straight 4 on the floor beat while supporting synths carry on with their own conversation. Be warned.
We hope you enjoy this analog recording. More

Liaisons Dangereuses - Liaisons Dangereuses
A milestone in electronic music, is finally receiving its well-deserved re-release: Liaisons Dangereuses’ legendary self-titled debut album still fascinates today, through its innovative sound and the mystery encompassing it. Since its release in 1981, it has become a classic in electronic music. The 10 electrifying songs produced by Chrislo Haas (DAF) and Beate Bartel (Mania D. / Matador) – reinforced by Krishna Goineau’s French and Spanish Speech-Attack-Lyrics – created a unique style. The album – anything other than a Berlin or Düsseldorf ‘thing’ – was propelled to an international favourite. Songs such as “Peut Être... Pas” and “Los Niños Del Parque” played a decisive role in the development of Detroit and Chicago’s house sound, as well as various forms of European techno.
