Pugilist - Flip Trix
2
Henry Greenleaf - Stopper Knot
3
Ebb - GTAM
The third installment of our four-part 12" series features our favorite artists from around the world.
Melbourne's Pugilist opens the gates with 'Flip Trix.' It's a dub-drenched, broken techno hybrid with earth-shattering low-end throughout. This lengthy 130bpm track, with foggy breaks and frosty pads, smartly concludes on a 4x4 beat to ensure a smooth exit. 'Flip Trix' is certainly a future percy for all.
Next, we have Bristol-based Henry Greenleaf, a music producer who provides jaw-dropping moments throughout his work. 'Stopper Knot' starts off with a murky low growl and soon evolves into a fully-fledged UK techno beast with ups, downs, twists, and turns. It's like the soundtrack to all of existence captured in 4 minutes and 37 seconds. An absolute tune.
Closing out the release, we have a very special track from Ebb, a resident of New Zealand's South Island. This tune comes with a Product Safety Warning. *We strongly advise never listening to this tune in small groups or while sitting down. 'GTAM' is a weaponized, peak-time, world-ending, acidic bass mutant designed for use only between 2 am and 4 am*. In true Ebb style, heavy and precise production.
Enjoy responsibly. More

As Pugilist, Alex Dickson has a rich history of fusing multiple genres to produce unique soundscapes that occupy the collapsing space between techno, house, breakbeat, and jungle. Extracting and distilling the crucial ingredients from each one and using them to conjure up rich sonic tapestries that are as vivid as they are intoxicating. With his debut EP for Of Paradise, entitled ‘Negative Space’, Dickson pushes his sound even further, serving up a masterclass in atmospheric club chemistry, purpose-built for a post apocalyptic world.
Featuring four deeply effective cuts caught somewhere between offbeat techno, lucid breaks, and swaggering bass, ‘Negative Space’ is a four-track vortex born out of heat-soaked landscapes and executed with cold vein precision. More

Melbourne producer Pugilist hitting hard with a four track EP for these dark days.. As you may be used to by now on 3024, the artist showcases his wide ranging pallette of styles and flavors, and "Blue Planet" is no different. The title track is a slinky UKG informed dub roller reminiscent of early Shed. Acid Flange is a menacing 8am (or later) track for the deeper dancefloor or headphones. Pugilist's collab with Tamen is on a uplifting dnb tip and as a digi only extra we have "Quick Fix", a slinky Detroit electro piece. More

Henry Greenleaf - Cafe Stalker
Henry Greenleaf - Keepsake:
‘Keepsake’ introduces listeners to the record with an energetic blend of grungy, ethereal elements, showcasing Henry’s artistic flair. The track seamlessly intertwines dreamlike atmospheres with raw textures, contrasting these layers with intense drum-driven drama, tying it all together to offer a preview of the musical landscape set to define the entirety of the record.
Henry Greenleaf - Cafe Boogaloo:
The enigmatic soundscape of ‘Cafe Boogaloo’ carefully warps an unmistakable garage arrangement into an eclectic and hypnotic journey. As the track progresses it embraces the unconventional, introducing a disjointed groove that gradually sinks you further and further into it, defying categorisation and serving as a testament to the creative possibilities within electronic music.
Henry Greenleaf - Get The Hell Out:
‘Get The Hell Out’ is a formidable force of relentless rhythms that disregard all agreements. The integration of intense drum work with melancholic undertones opposes listeners as it bulldozes along, emerging not only as a force that invites exploration, but also as one that commands your attention - capturing the essence of its title.
Henry Greenleaf - Cafe Stalker:
In its final notes, ‘Cafe Stalker’ prioritises sound design over club functionality in order to instill a feeling of unease and suspense, crafting an atmosphere of palpable tension and lurking dread. The deliberate pace of the track trudges along, deftly building tension until it inevitably brings the record to a grinding halt, leaving an unsettling resonance in its wake.

Sales Note
"Dog Eared"! Named as such as it marks a turning point in my productions and releases. Made while moving from Bristol back to London this as a theme pops up throughout the EP.
"Ithaca Vox" is the name of my first ever favourite preset - a CMI-inspired pad from GarageBand which I've been using since I was 11 but never on a release. The track also samples the screeching of Victoria line on my way back from nights out.
"Bubble Trouble" caused many headaches to finish hence the addition of the word "Trouble". The track pops, floats and bursts into the space between simplistic cartoon sound sources and excessively over the top sound design and production.
"Dive" dives further into these production ideas swapping tight space tiny bubbles for wide grinning resonance. The twisting track cuts these resonances leaving a large valley of missing frequencies that gets suddenly filled by an unrelentingly simple bell centring the listeners balance.
"From Window to Wall" gives a not so subtle nod to one of my favourite excessive chart hits as well as a further nod to the source of some of the track samples (see if you spot them).
"Calpohol" is the first collaboration Ive released (another reason to Dog Ear this release). Made from an afternoon of recording with Delay Grounds on his custom Eurorack the track was shaped by us over the weeks that followed. More

Henry Greenleaf - Group Translate
Making up for lost time we are back with another Redstone Press debut in the form of Henry Greenleaf.
After Liam Robertson’s Village of Killin release we were on a collision course with Henry, both parties reached out to one another simultaneously in hopes of working together and here we are! Henry spent a lot of time in the Lake District prior to and during the beginning of the pandemic and this release is the fruit beared from that period! Full of tense space and creative freedom, Kirkstone EP is Henry’s finest work to date (in our biased and arrogant opinion) and highlights his ever-upwards trajectory.
The EP’s namesake boots down the door with his instantly recognisable drum work and intricate synth lines, simply put Kirkstone is a club killer! The A2 “Headache District” is a more spacious affair, awash with ambient sweeps that, when paired with his intricate booming kicks, creates a subtle groove that belies the driving force behind the track.
On the flip “Put By” swaps sweeping synths for metallic abrasion and a building tension that dissolves into unsteady piercing stabs and crumbling basslines. Henry expertly stiches together elements that on paper shouldn’t work, into a masterfully deep and ominous 5 minutes. Closing out the EP is “Group Translate”, a symphony of cascading sounds that ramp up the pace and force you into taking notice! This hammer of a track sounds like something you’d hear as you pass through a blackhole in space, on eccies. More

Together on the flip, Haze and Fluctuate are perfectly executed pieces of dub techno hypnotism, with Fluctuate leaning into those house music elements we all cherish and love. Sub Basics does it again!

Somah - Knot Up
The long awaited second instalment of our 4 part VA series.
Opening track ‘Dub Free pt.3 (Rose line mix)’ is a masterfully produced and mixed dub techno groove by Hiss Is Bliss. With skills at this level, there’s clearly more to come from this French artist.
On the flip, USA born Bukkha, digs into the deep dub techno trenches with Dub Envelope. Situated at 115bpm, a tempo with much possibility, Bukkha hits the nail on the head with ease and exposes a different side to his usual output.
Closing out this carefully curated 3 track 12” - Bristol talent Somah signs off with a dreamy dub break titled Knot Up. More
