Over the past decade, Poland-born now Berlin-based producer, DJ Blazej Malinowski has been deliver his twist on Techno via imprint such as Semantica, Kvalia, TGP, 012 and of course his own Inner Tension label where he returns here with a new collaborative EP. The idea behind the record was to merge Blazej with artists he has close connections to and create music that would capture the moment in time at which it was made, based on pure emotion and without limitation. The resultant 'Are We All Alone or Just Overwhelmed?' EP is testament to Blazej's inherent connection to Techno.

Up first on the package is 'Time Is Relative', a collaboration with Italian DJ, producer and engineer Neel which meanders through an amalgamation of intricately intertwined synth leads, robust percussion, and a grinding low- end drive. 'Riddle' with Claudio PRC follows and wanders into deeper territories via ethereal, billowing textures, metallic chimes and resonant synth flutters floating atop a circling bass groove and crisp drums.

On the flip-side Milena Glowacka joins Blazej for 'Equal', a subtly unfurling composition laid out across seven minutes with bubbling tones, dynamic percussive elements and a pulsating low-end. 'Coincidence', composed with Svreca then rounds out the release, a murky journey through haunting atmospherics, bumpy off-kilter drums, and eerie percussive fills.

Inner Tension is the record label of Polish (Berlin-based) artist Blazej Malinowski which is an expression of his deep interpretation of techno. The label aims to provide an eclectic vision of dance music which reaches deep within the mind itself and projects atmospheric and warm sounds for the dancefloor.

The 001 sees a 4-track EP released January 2021 on vinyl/digital containing 3 originals by Blazej himself & a remix by Oscar Mulero.

The first release Inner Tension 001 called 'Katharsis' signifies the birth of the label and its sound & direction.

Katharsis (from Greek ???a?s??, meaning "purification" or "cleansing" or "clarification") is the purification and purgation of emotions -- through art or any extreme change in emotion that results in renewal and restoration

The 4-track EP contains 3 originals by Blazej himself & great rework by Oscar Mulero. The A1, 'Katharsis' is a classic trippy and deep techno signature from Blazej. A2 follows with a more clubby track 'Behind' with a hint of psychedelic deep techno feeling. B1, 'The End' brings plenty of energy and without a doubt a peak-time flow; uplifting & high hats hitting.

B2, the Mulero remix of 'The End' captures a real twisted yet emotional journey with a long build up and subtle breakdown with a raw finish. More

Vinyl only label Kvalia resurfaces with its 003 release - this time by inviting polish producer Blazej Malinowski. "States of Consciousness" takes you on a quest into the hypnotic and deep techno soundscape that is characteristic for Blazej's productions. Expect a three track dynamic journey that starts off with a smooth, flowing A-side followed by a B-side containing two darker gems. More

Opening with the A, 'Veiltail' immerses into the depths of an abyssal realm, where distorted, crunchy synths echo like sonar pulses in the darkness of an underwater cathedral. Nicola Dal Sacco treats us to an acid-soaked quartet for his debut solo EP on Aquaregia, a tantalizing follow-up to the Italian producer's contribution to the Acid Analects VA series.

Setting the tone, the title track, "Wirrwarr", revs up with driving drums and swirling pads - a sunrise escapade along a mountain pass. As daybreak approaches, the breakdown hits, introducing warm beaming pads. On the second leg, the journey continues with "Gelato", a spellbinder that melds serpentine acid lines with a vintage flair, navigating hairpins and snaking through narrow hillside corridors; vertigo ensues.

"Parapiglia" continues the trip with an eerie and enchanting lowlight drive. Melancholic acid whines while lush ethereal pads swaddle; a haunting mist rolling over the road. A deep closer, "Linea" guides us down the final stretch through the foothills with a viscous groove and chilled out atmosphere; the final knock back down into first gear. More

It has been a little over a year since the release of 747's debut album, in which the Canadian masterfully drew notes of inspiration from the 90s to create an enchanting hour-long dream. In his first EP since, 747 returns from a temporal leap, bringing with him a blend of sounds and expressions to forge a timeless trip which hinges on the sounds of the 303.

Opening the release, "you,you" unfolds with a gentle and shimmery padded ambiance of anticipation. Gentle and light-footed percussion is soon interrupted by a dramatic siren, a warning beacon. Frenetic energy ensues, a frantic rush to the floor met with a cloudy head. Encompassed in an envelope of disorienting wailing and intermittent buzzing, but finally grounded by the familiarity of a 4/4 bass drum.

"Does Anybody Remember Laughter?" steps in to relinquish the force of gravity. The animated arpeggio and gleaming singing acid line rise up, uncovering the kaleidoscopic nature of the structural surroundings.

"While My 303 Gently Weeps" divulges further, exposing an underlying grid of dark geometry - binary and robotic. The topology of surfaces becomes increasingly fractalized, until the solo overtakes with a somber sadness. The 303 notes guide the mind on a melancholic and meditative walk along the grand staff, met after the break with a sense of hope and serenity.

To close, "You Missed the Starting Gun" recounts the journey through a twisting mesh of thoughts: sorrow and actualization. A calming hypnotic presence is felt. Stability ensues - an afterglow. More

Three years after the original's release, new life is given to 747's widely acclaimed neoclassic acid anthem, Aurora Centralis. The uplifting track, characterized by its iconic singing 303, is revisited by four masterful artists: Schacke, Tin Man, nthng and Primal Code, each bringing a unique take.

Opening the release, Schacke delivers a fast and euphoric revamp with an infectious groove and floaty atmosphere, while modern acid legend, Tin Man, executes a flawless take embellished with lush pads and deft 303 work.

Introducing the B-side, nthng's vehement rendition is fierce and ethereal in a way only he can deliver - wish granted. To close, Primal Code brings a hypnotic version with an atmospheric ambiance and a nod to the original through dreamy gliding acid notes. More
