Massimiliano Pagliara’s Funnuvojere Records is thrilled to present a very special addition to its flourishing catalogue. This new release, ‘Hanging in The Stars Part 1’, comes from Voiski, aka Luc Kheradmand.

Voiski has been a prominent figure in the electronic scene for over a decade, with a discography that spans across labels such as Dekmantel, L.I.E.S, and Delsin Records. With ‘Hanging in the Stars Part 1’, he delivers a collection of tracks that showcases his mastery of sound design and emotive melodies.

‘Romance Mentale’ sets the tone for the EP with its deep, rolling bass line and soaring synth lines. The ambient ‘Harmonie Du Soir’ follows. It’s made of spacious pads creating a weightless atmosphere that provides a luxurious sonic experience.

‘Call It Madness’ has an infectious groove and propulsive tempo. With its layering of arpeggios that implode and scatter, the track creates a sense of euphoric energy that is driven by an unyielding beat.

The EP concludes with the ethereal pads and poignant melodies of its title track. With this unforgettable collection of tracks, anticipation for Part 2 is already building.

Delsin marks its milestone 150th release in a rainstorm of gorgeous arps with a full EP from Voiski. For Luc Kheradmand it's a return to the label which carried his 2020 collaboration with Wata Igarashi and where he issued early single Breaths Written Outside Gloom. For Delsin it's the perfect way to sum up different dimensions of the label's identity - richly melodic, machine-powered and yet distinct from any illusion of a typical 'Delsin sound'. The End Of Fiction EP marks a new chapter in Kheradmand's approach and intention. His prolific back catalogue reaches back across countless releases for labels like L.I.E.S., Dekmantel UFO, Bassiani and his own Super 95. Here his established overdriven snarl is tempered, but not at the expense of the energy and emotion readily associated with his music. There's a trace of trance and early Detroit about the powerful lead lines on 'Blazing Star' and 'Hazy Suns', while 'Unreality' basks in blissful acid and 'Ideodelika' charts a course through progressive, psychedelic techno. The End Of Fiction still bristles with the peak time energy Voiski is often known for, but it's the melodies which dominate the overall narrative as he sets out a renewed clarity in his sound.

November will find Delsin release a new EP from Voiski entitled Breaths Written Outside Gloom that features four cuts of the Frenchman's trademark techno. Before now he has released solo and with various others on labels such as LIES and Syncrophone and always manages to cook up gurgling grooves and textured tracks that take you deep down the rabbit hole. Opener 'Downhearted Holidays' is all about a menacing bassline that looms large below jostling metal percussion and frazzled synth lines. It's spare and absorbing, inhuman and bleak in the most inviting way. 'Galaxy Call' is a more energetic affair with squeaking, pixelated and high pitched melodies squealing over a gloomy and gloopy bass line. Militant snares are upright and driven and the result is a track that sounds like the machines are taking over. 'Mathematical Park' is about mid tempo drums, paranoid synth drones and desolate urban soundscapes all run through with a sense of dark futurism and finally 'Answer Silently' is the slowest and swampiest of the lot. A growing sense of darkness permeates slithering synths, icy hi hats and lazy drums and there is a real air of foreboding through this and all the cuts here that make it perfect night time music.

Chapelle XIV Music proudly presents ‘B01V’ by the enigmatic Sato, aka Satoshi Tomiie. The tracks on this EP are produced and curated with DJs in mind, offering different takes and alternative versions of the much sought-after “Blue, Black And Grey.”

A1. ‘B01V’ – The album “Blue, Black And Grey” was a live recording, where the original ‘B01’ served as the second track of continuous play. ‘B01V’ presents an alternative version of ‘B01,’ while maintaining the deepness and vibe, this cut focuses on a DJ mix.
A2. A57V, B1. A56V, and B2. A58V are all different studio takes of A57, A56, and A58 from the album. Although they share similar titles and elements with the ones on the album, they sound like almost different compositions as they were all recorded during Satoshi’s live performances in the studio.”

This 12? pressing serves as a bridge between the mindful journey of the initial 8-tracker double album and the corporeal reality of the dancefloor, making it an essential piece for both collectors and DJs alike.

Born from the collaboration between the Yoyaku record store and the Chapelle XIV art gallery, the sound of Chapelle XIV Music is designed for attentive listening, and include more pop sonorities with a wide electronic spectrum. We produced a Collector Edition Pack available in 200 copies gathering all three records of the compilation. The musical aesthetics of the release evolves with each record, going from IDM, to ambient, through jazz inspirations or deep house.
