Originally released in 1979 this single might have been another attempt at birthing an Italian starlet. “Teneramante” on the A-side is a harmlessly well written cheerful Pop oriented number one might hear in a radio of some Italian cabriolet on your way to an aperitivo gathering with some mildly well dressed friends. On the B-side things take a deeper melancholic turn with “Angela E Cosi” - the winner - a funky broken beat underlays the tempo of the track, perhaps not unlike the emotional complications nuanced in the beautiful Italian sung lyrics – recollections of romantic disillusions over a beautiful melody. Angela was the studio project of husband/wife duo Angela and Ingo Werner formed in 1981 in Rüsselsheim, Germany. Ingo had classical training in bassoon and piano at the Akademie für Tonkunst in Darmstadt from 1966-70. He joined Krautrock band My Solid Ground in 1971 before going on to form his own project Baba Yaga in 1974. In the late 70s he formed the ensemble AIR with Armin Stöwe and Reinhard Karwatky. The project debuted with a a concert at ARS Electronica Competition in Linz, Austria 1980, which they won. Klaus Schulze was on the jury with Wendy Carlos and Robert Moog - but more importantly, Angela was in the audience. Two days later, Ingo told the band he needed a singer, so they asked Angela, and recorded two albums for RCA between 1981-82 before being dropped. Ingo wanted to work on a new project that involved dancers and live video. They recruited American performance artist Jyl Porch, who was living in Munich, to assist with choreography with her friend Kirsten McKenley. Jyl ended up recording her own album first, which gained interest from Klaus Schulze, who helped them secure a deal with EMI in 1983. Later that year, the trio recorded 4 songs that would be released on Angela ‘Fantasy’ single on 7” and 12” formats in 1984.

The music on ‘Fantasy’ was completely created with computer software of Ingo’s own design. The concept of a polyrhythmic, polyphonic, and polydynamic sequencer was realized by Ingo after a visit to Wolfgang Palm in Hamburg. He paired his sequencer with Palm’s legendary PPG Wave Computer System, allowing for more dynamic and nuanced programming. Angela programmed the music, sang, and wrote the lyrics to “Painted Love”, while Ingo arranged and played all electronics and keyboards. Jyl wrote the lyrics for “Fantasy” and the slow and sleazy, electronic disco B-side “I Gotta Little Love”, where she also sings background vocals and the “hot little flame” rap. The original B-side to the 7” version was a cover of the 1967 Hal Hackady and Lee Pockriss song “Kites”, made famous by Simon Dupree and the Big Sound. All songs have been remastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The EP features the original 1984 cover artwork with a striking photo of Angela styled by Jyl in severe Neue Deutsche Welle fashion, and includes an insert with lyrics and and photos. More

When approached several years back by the highly revered Toy Tonics crew/ record label to participate in a remix for artists Karl Hector & Nicolas Tounga for their song titled Ngunga Yet Fofa; just on the strength of a sincere enthusiasm showed by the request alone, it wasn't long after that Joaquin Joe Claussell accepted the challenge to remix an already original dope composition. Originally released, and still available on their Mushroom House Concept 12" EP 4 Cat number TOYT 068; on it Joaquin produced a unique remixed and married Acoustic art with electronic ecstasy. Fast Forward to today Sacred Rhythm with the blessings of Toy Tonics brings forth a dope 12" the compliments that precious version, but with dope different, more experimental takes all in the rhythm of Afro Electronics.
Housed in Limited Red vinyl more dopeness is about to take its place in the airwaves. Let's take flight...

Welcome to the producer and DJ, Roi Azulay's latest release Reflections, his first full-length album of 15 original songs. Reflections come along after a string of successful EPs for house music's premier Sacred Rhythm Music label. Listening, grooving, and dancing to Reflections is like hopping a wafting magic carpet that soars to heady heights while touching down on the firmament of grounded and punchy beats. Born and raised on a farm in Israel just outside Jerusalem, Roi came to music as an adult, and to house while managing a record shop in town. He began to DJ around Jerusalem's club scene, but, wanting more adventure, moved to New York, in 2006, where he found more action and inspiration spinning in the City's underground clubs beneath the watchful and encouraging eye of house master producer, Joaquin Joe Claussell. Living and working in the City has enabled Roi to absorb fully and incorporate into his compositions how sound defines a culture of such diversity. Roi talks of Reflections as a first mountain peak climbed after a journey of self-discovery nurtured by the peace and wonder he finds in the natural world. He has unearthed, he says, "my very own personal soundscape." The music bears witness to these explorations,
vaunting varied influences beyond the deep house, to embrace, among other genres, jazz and world rhythms, including the music of his Middle Eastern heritage. Honoring the "naïve playfulness" of his inner child, Roi integrates the natural world of his childhood into his music. "Jerusalem Blues" seems to take us way back, into echoes of the past, with underground sounds as if in a cavern while he seasons the earthiness with sub-Saharan references. Roi's musical approach unifies organic compositions on "Fire" and "Shadow Dance" above emotional and tonal celebrations like "Light Heart" and "Which Way Home" following a remix from the prolific producer and sounds-designer Kuniyuki Takahashi
with his unique take on "All Is Well". Roi desires to take Reflections to an audience in a vast outdoor arena where he summons up the genuine romance between nature and electronics. At the same time, we would find Roi Azulay searching for "A sentimental scent, familiar sounds, intimate rhythm."

using less compression with higher sample rates. The primary side
has been cut with Eqwel's original version, which carries on his style
of artistic creativity. The track is layed with hard rhythm'd kicks with
illustrious soundscapes incorporating sticky basslines.
On the flflipside, track one is Eqwel's answer to a club banging
version of the original creation. This track starts strong and ends
strong and the events that happen in between is beautiful and uplifting!
This is defifinitely a banger for the clubs, that can be
incorporated at the peakest of your sets.
The fifinal track has been taken from Eqwel's " Audio Telemetry EP ".

to lay the foundation for musical structures that were released in the past and
can now be used as overlay tracks and DJ creativity.
As with mostly all original works created by Joaquin Joe Claussell; The
vibrational medicine that emanates from the music (if taken seriously) can
assist in healing the confused mind back to its original state of intellectual
and wholesome consciousness. We believe that once the mind is strong and
clear again, all that are both profound and worth keeping will then surround

We are unfortunately living through a period that could possibly be the most desperate, as well as
confusing time in human history.
You would think that with the great leaps that have been taken with advances in technology-that
we would at the very least become closer as a people.
However, sadly this has shown not to be the case. What has become obvious, however, is that
so-called progress has taken a back seat to trickery, chaos, wickedness, selfifishness and
ultimately separatism.
We have become desensitized to the point that we now see the hope we thought would be
waiting for us at the end of the brightly lit tunnel is quickly being gobbled up by deceit, hate and
darkness.
Fortunately, however, there are devotees who like myself have always placed their beliefs in the
transcendent powers of music. With nothing out here seeming to be what it’s supposed to be, it
is clear that music has not only remained consistent with its alignment with love and unity, but it
is also viewed to be the most precious gift bestowed on to humankind.
An orchestration from the creator of the infifinite galaxy and all life-forms of which reside
throughout, a sincere belief in his or hers rhythm and sound can assist in realigning the planet to
its proper position of balance thus light and darkness, love and devotion, compassion and love
for one another could prevail.
No less is the power of gospel music.
Difffferent from those who came before, this edition goes beyond and ventures into a
broader range of gods music- this because, all music is gods music…
