Tu Sei Pazza more than meets that guarantee. The title track is an instant classic. Soft burbling basslines float around a steady kick before daring brass sections are punctuated by scaling xylophone lines. Somewhere between late 70s lounge music and strikingly modern disco, this piece will put a smile on any face. Whodamanny lands on the flip and takes the original to moonbase five via Studio 54. Tempos are reduced as a path of cosmic laser-funk is taken by the amazingly versatile Naples producer. A cracking close to a 7” that packs a real punch.

Following on from Tu Sei Pazza, Daniel Monaco returns to the Bordello with the bitter taste of the TB303 on his tongue. Acid Maria smoulders with the intensity of a Belgian new beat banger circa 1989. Smoky words whisper over rusted rhythms before the fog and strobe take hold. Cold strings haunt with snaking coils of 303 squawk growing ever bolder in this intense track. The flip is divided into two very different remixes. First up is Curses who approaches the piece in his own unique way. The fanfare and frigid lines of the original are expanded. Strings come care of guitars as a bright synth wave reimaging unfolds, a reimaging with one of the most daring breaks you are likely to ever hear. Younger Than Me close. This interpretation adds a fevered tone to the original. BPMs rise and pitches are pushed while chilly notes soon balloon into a frenzy to bring a full floor energy. Three tracks born to bring brimming basements into the beyond.

Enter the Island is the new Concept EP of Daniel Monaco. Is the story of a group of friends who have ventured on a mysterious Island with the only mission to enter its infamous Reptilian Club. The tracks are a mix of Disco, Tropical and Dub an obscure psychedelic trip performed and recorded live at Daniel’s studio, but the adventure is not over yet because Enter The Island is not only a long trip into a mystical place is also a Board Game for two to four players. The idea was born during the first lockdown. Due to the big crisis brought by Covid-19 there were no chances to print Vinyl for this EP therefore Daniel thought to design a game made exclusively for this concept, its rules are unique as well as its design reflecting perfectly the spirit of the music.
Alessandro Rosa is the artist who made the design. The Board Game is the same size of a Vinyl cover made on Forex printed white on black. An unprecedented concept unique in its genre, a creative reaction against hard times.

Carrying the mirror ball on his shoulders like Atlas, it is impossible to imagine the modern disco world without his dynamics. While his countless DJ sets give fresh impetus to the many shades of house, techno and their siblings, conversely they are a driving force behind his studio and remix excursions. Can't Stop provides an impressive insight into his musical universe.
Resulting from a rather casual after-dinner-listening-session during a car ride on Ibiza with a zesty Gerd Janson, who coaxed the title track out of Solomun making use of their friendship to full capacity, it is a triptych of direct, functional and free-spirited dance floor approach. After some back and forth in the search of the missing pieces to make it so, Solomun managed to deliver the perfect Running Back peak time record.

We last left off with Complementary Minds dropping singles and EPs to keep telling their musical story. But now, we're hyped to present their new album, the second one, Complementary Minds Vol 2 (inevitably out on vinyl and of course on digital versions), it's picking up right where the first one left off and just like that one, it’s out on their label, Terapia Records. Complementary Minds Vol.2 is, as the duo has been treating us to lately, a subtle yet striking evolution from the first chapter of what, and we’re telling you this exclusively, will be a trilogy. The tracks are a mix of influences from all sorts of genres like Hip-Hop, Breakbeat, Electro, House, Acid Jazz and much more. But the compositional style here is more mature, even more aware and refined, less raw than the first album, which showcased their creative talent in an instinctive way. This is a big step in the musical maturity of Luca and Michele. As usual, they flaunt their passion for movies by stuffing the tracks with film references in the form of samples that we challenge you to find, giving you just a few hints: you'll find samples from The Goonies in “Goonietown", Natural Born Killers in "Born Dead” and even Fantozzi Contro Tutti, a wild obsession of our very own Luca, in the track "Rmx & Chips”! Continuing from the first album, the tracks on what should be the first side are named starting with C, so the second side is the D side, kicking off with “Goonietown" and its absolutely smashing four-on-the-floor groove. The dark and brooding mystical energy of "Kim Darkness" takes us into a different sound dimension, from which we inevitably emerge with the fresh vibes of the airy "Hey" and the mellow "Born Dead" before diving into the rhythmic coolness of "Rmx & Chips” which put the END word on the first side. D side starts with “King Of Korea” and its harmonic electro touch which perfectly sets up the following track, the short but intense "M-Time" and the esoteric crypticism of “Damn”. The breathless sprint of Complementary Minds sees the finish line approaching, but not before tackling the sonic leaps of a world crafted by their vintage touch and the late '80s rhythmic evolutions of the ruggedly classy "Explorer '85". “Ambient Kontakt” anticipates the 9th inning of this record with a touch of healthy weirdness, a must by the pair, and sets the stage for the fleeting and dreamy outro of the spacey "O" Omega for the Greek scholars, symbolizing the end, the final letter of the alphabet. The tune is inspired to Jerry Goldsmith’s majestic soundtracks; he composed, amongst others, the music for Alien and Rambo. We last left off with Complementary Minds dropping singles and EPs to keep telling their musical story. But now, we're hyped to present their new album, the second one, Complementary Minds Vol 2 (inevitably out on vinyl and of course on digital versions), it's picking up right where the first one left off and just like that one, it’s out on their label, Terapia Records. Complementary Minds Vol.2 is, as the duo has been treating us to lately, a subtle yet striking evolution from the first chapter of what, and we’re telling you this exclusively, will be a trilogy. The tracks are a mix of influences from all sorts of genres like Hip-Hop, Breakbeat, Electro, House, Acid Jazz and much more. But the compositional style here is more mature, even more aware and refined, less raw than the first album, which showcased their creative talent in an instinctive way. This is a big step in the musical maturity of Luca and Michele. As usual, they flaunt their passion for movies by stuffing the tracks with film references in the form of samples that we challenge you to find, giving you just a few hints: you'll find samples from The Goonies in “Goonietown", Natural Born Killers in "Born Dead” and even Fantozzi Contro Tutti, a wild obsession of our very own Luca, in the track "Rmx & Chips”! Continuing from the first album, the tracks on what should be the first side are named starting with C, so the second side is the D side, kicking off with “Goonietown" and its absolutely smashing four-on-the-floor groove. The dark and brooding mystical energy of "Kim Darkness" takes us into a different sound dimension, from which we inevitably emerge with the fresh vibes of the airy "Hey" and the mellow "Born Dead" before diving into the rhythmic coolness of "Rmx & Chips” which put the END word on the first side. D side starts with “King Of Korea” and its harmonic electro touch which perfectly sets up the following track, the short but intense "M-Time" and the esoteric crypticism of “Damn”. The breathless sprint of Complementary Minds sees the finish line approaching, but not before tackling the sonic leaps of a world crafted by their vintage touch and the late '80s rhythmic evolutions of the ruggedly classy "Explorer '85". “Ambient Kontakt” anticipates the 9th inning of this record with a touch of healthy weirdness, a must by the pair, and sets the stage for the fleeting and dreamy outro of the spacey "O" Omega for the Greek scholars, symbolizing the end, the final letter of the alphabet. The tune is inspired to Jerry Goldsmith’s majestic soundtracks; he composed, amongst others, the music for Alien and Rambo. In recognition, the rightsholders, their families, and the label have commissioned Detroit-based contemporary artist Matthew Angelo Harrison to re-conceptualize the covers of Tresor's Drexciya-related catalogue. These editions will be released sequentially, bimonthly, starting early-September 2022.
The series starts with Neptune's Lair, first released in 1999, with the Hydro Doorways single arriving shortly after. In November, Harnessed The Storm and Digital Tsunami are coming. In 2023 comes the release of Transllusion in February. The series is completed by the long-awaited re-release of Shifted Phases - The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope - at the end of March.
These records, individually and as a catalogue, represent some of the most crucial moments in the Tresor label history, with the sound and mythic world of Drexciya undoubtedly inspiring generations.

Together they are doing extremely groovy, jazz infected dance music that connects the good things of 1990ies house with the indie disco of the 2000s.
Lars Dales & Lorenz Rhode connected through their mutual love for all things musically unusual. After years of having worked together on several projects, such as the Dam Swindle live show, they finally got around to making music together. The result has been nothing less than an avalanche of tracks, mostly made in 4 day coffee fueled studio sessions in Lorenz’ studio in Cologne. All reminding the big funk house tracks of the early 2000s. Yes a lot of Daft Punk is here, A lot of NYC disco influences. Larry Levan and Laurent Garnier, DJ Harvey and Masters at Work.. all influences on this record.
After their first two Sound Support EP’s on Prins Thomas’ label, Internasjonal, they’ve ventured out to House of Disco and other labels with a wide array of immensely enjoyable synth heavy tracks. 2023 sees these two venture more into house territory with releases on AUS music and Toy Tonics, two labels that have cemented themselves deeply into the underground scene. In any case, it’s clear that Sound Support have found its signature sound and there is much more of that to look forward to. Toy Tonics is the key label for the wildstyle house scene and Sound Support fit perfectly. Welcome!

Ich möchte ein Eisbär sein…Written by Martin Eicher after a nightmare in which he saw talking polar bears on the walls, and with music by the Grauzone crew consisting of Martin and his brother Stephan Eicher, Marco Repetto, Christian "GT" Trüssel, and Claudine Chirac (on saxophone), "Eisbär" is the most recognizable title from the band, a sublime mix of ingredients reflecting the transitional era it comes from - the raw energy of punk music still palpable, combined with the audacity of early electronics, the warm groove of a disco gem, beautifully fragile lyrics, and one of the best basslines ever. It became a mega hit, totally unplanned, but how could you resist such a track?
"FILM 2" is the ultimate b-side monster, a menacing all-instrumental pre-techno masterpiece, slowly building to a magnetizing frenzy. An instant underground favorite, it was famously heard played at both speeds depending on the scenes and DJs you were frequenting, 45rpm as it was first intended, and 33rpm for the cosmic experience (search Daniele Baldelli’s Cosmic C75 1982 mixtape online for a great example of this).
The maxi single ends with "Ich Lieb Sie", a synth-pop meets doo-wop ballad, a true love song oozing with innocence. Simple, stylish, and just right.
At the crossroads of post-punk, new wave, pop, and electronic experimentation, the Eisbär maxi offers three songs that are technically different but hold the same spirit, the perfect embodiment of Grauzone’s music - wild, unpredictable, and youthful, yet sophisticated, catchy, and ingenious. QUAZAR are pioneers of the first house- and techno-generation of the early 90’s. Formed in Amsterdam by producer Gert van Veen, QUAZAR debuted in 1990 with the 12 inch ‘The Seven Stars/Day-glo’, which became an underground hit all over the world, from the UK and Germany to The USA, Goa and Australia. It’s still considered as one of the ultimate classics of the original rave-scene.
‘The Seven Stars’, a wild and exciting musical voyage, full of instrumental crescendoes and rushes, is a hard hitting techno-track that set dance floors on fire with its fierce energy.
The raw persuasive power of the a side and the acid tinged 'Moon Turns The Tide' is balanced by the gentle, melodic ‘Day-glo’ - a predecessor of the later minimal style and a favourite of Ricardo Villalobos, that unexpectedly became just as popular as ‘The Seven Stars’.
During the Amsterdam Dance Event 2024 ‘The Seven Stars EP'will be rereleased on vinyl, two weeks later followed by the rerelease of the first QUAZAR album ‘Seven Stars’.
‘The Seven Stars EP' 12" presents remastered versions of the three tracks on the original record plus a 2024 QUAZAR remake of ‘The Seven Stars’, mixed by Dutch house legend Olav Basoski.
To celebrate these releases, QUAZAR, still one of the best live-acts in the Netherlands, will do a special hardware-only live-gig at DOKA/The Volkshotel in Amsterdam on Wednesday October 16 2024.

Founded by DJ and producer Discrete Circuit in 2012, AWAY was born in Berlin out of a purist desire to establish a party for timeless house and techno music. In the early days, AWAY moved from multiple in- and outdoor venues to showcases across Europe to ultimately finding a stable home base at the About Blank club in 2015. Quickly they earned a reputation as a must-attend event series without losing its underground credibility. The AWAY crew did not shy away from booking many veterans and legends of the genre, some of whom are now on the compilation "AWAY 10 Years".
