Celebrating 22 years of Josh Wink’s cult acid classic ‘Sixth Sense’ they’ve invited old friend Shlomi Aber and a bonafide Master At Work, Louie Vega for a set of remarkable updates. Celebrating his first Ovum appearance, Louie takes the lead with a whole menu of mixes that provide total mix creativity. The lead mix hits with that essential New York swing. Stripped back to its naked form, the drums bump your hips and shoulders into submission while a rubber ball bassline and Ursula Rucker’s signature spoken word lock you down. The Philly artist crafted several of the genre's most enduring hits early in his career and has continued to remain at the forefront of the scene ever since. His Ovum label is part of the reason for that, as are superb new tunes like this one. Truncate is one of the new techno dons, known for his funky signature style of jackin’ tracks, along with crafting vast, all-consuming grooves that dominate dance floors. He has done so mostly on his own label and together the pair cook up some real magic on this new release. ‘Be Aware’ came about during a multi-day studio session at Truncate’s LA studio and is the first of two EPs that will be released from that same creative collaboration.Josh has been a fan of Truncate’s for years and had him remix his 2016 single 'Shoelaces' and 2017 single 'Resist', while in return Josh remixed Truncate’s 2017 tune 'Concentrate'. The timeless 'Be Aware' is a ghoulish techno track with freaky vocals that keep you looking over your shoulder. A sparse lead synth rises and falls to edgy effect, slick drums roll deep and unique tweaked effects flesh out this most well-crafted of tracks. Says Josh of his latest track, “Every time I play this people rush over asking 'what is this track that says “get your balls back”?' Its reaction after playing has been amazing and reassuring that it hits hard, works on the floor, and sticks in people's heads.“ He's not wrong: the powerful 'Balls Back' is a spatial, acid-tinged techno stormer that builds and builds until it ultimately explodes in signature Josh Wink fashion. The 303s are saturated in deep processing along with heavy 909 percussion and a ‘slap-you-in-your-face’ vocal sample that will lead to dance floor devastation. "When playing this new track for the family at home. My partner stopped what she was doing and started dancing. Afterwards she waxed her feelings from the song saying how strong she felt from it and commented about how it seemed based on my astrological sign of my ruling planet Mars being in my Aries, and how the track had strong, powerful, fiery and fierce fast paced animalistic passion. So… I said 'Wow. Okay.' I went into the studio the next day and added the vocal, switching the two as it had a better rhythmic flow."
That flow needs to be heard to be understood; 'Aries In Mars' is a wily, bouncing eight minute Ovum opus that twists and turns and ricochets with physical acid charm, rolling beats and breakbeat vapour trails. It fizzes with every element of Wink's signature but is delivered with a refreshed perspective and sense of vitality. Introducing Amberoom: a brand new name from three old friends… Manuel Tur, Adrian Hoffmann and Ramin Nouyan.
Operating in a similar mindset to Manuel's Ribn project a few years ago, Amberoom is a celebration of the freestyle spirit. Three mates and a bunch of machines jamming the day away with no intention but creating beautiful moments, dynamics and tones.
The spirit is evident from the off on 'Rhit': The mid tempo funk in the percussion, the breath-taking organ blasts, the casually late piano line… The track has a life of its own that could only come about through jamming and open minds. At points heads-down and tribal, at others epic, this really is powerful stuff.
The power continues on 'Hover'. The staggered woodblock beat that ignites the track gives no hint at what's about to come… Suddenly a dense fog of synths heave into the mix, harmonically weaving with a yearning cosmic far-away feel that's just as much physical as it is emotional. Genuinely majestic.

Introducing Amberoom: a brand new name from three old friends… Manuel Tur, Adrian Hoffmann and Ramin Nouyan.
Operating in a similar mindset to Manuel's Ribn project a few years ago, Amberoom is a celebration of the freestyle spirit. Three mates and a bunch of machines jamming the day away with no intention but creating beautiful moments, dynamics and tones.
The spirit is evident from the off on 'Rhit': The mid tempo funk in the percussion, the breath-taking organ blasts, the casually late piano line… The track has a life of its own that could only come about through jamming and open minds. At points heads-down and tribal, at others epic, this really is powerful stuff.
The power continues on 'Hover'. The staggered woodblock beat that ignites the track gives no hint at what's about to come… Suddenly a dense fog of synths heave into the mix, harmonically weaving with a yearning cosmic far-away feel that's just as much physical as it is emotional. Genuinely majestic.

Splitting his complex multi personality across two sides, the UK techno lifer explores his innermost dual psyche to create two wholly different tracks. Both of which reflect the strengths of the original while taking it into vastly different directions.
First up: Planetary Assault Systems. One of Luke's oldest and boldest alter-egos, here he provides a nuclear powered bulldozer of a version. Fission hisses and mechanical rasps wrap around the undulating groove that charge relentlessly with a dark funk coded into the bass. mix from one of its esteemed Detroit connections, Mike Huckaby. On that mix, Mike Huckaby included an exclusive production of
his, the first one to be released on Tresor Records.
Today, Tresor is proud to announce the repress of the ‘The Tresor Track’ on wax, making up for a massive A-side cut at 45 RPM.
This title is on its way to stand along with the label’s most important classics, a genuine anthem for the Berlin techno institute.
On the flip, Mike Huckaby goes for a stroll through the Tresor building, heading downstairs, exploring the room’s darker and more
twisted corners with ‘Basement Trax’, going back towards ‘The Upstairs Lounge’ and surprising his audience with some original
rhythmic patterns. The Tresor EP is a statement, a seal manifesting for a fruitful and long-lasting collaboration between Mike

clubbing experiences. I have a permanent snapshot in my mind from the vibe I remember at the Music Institute in Detroit, or the
Shelter in NYC. So I vibe o of that quite often. In terms of house, it's usually based around strong chord progressions, and very
colorful and expressive sounds. For techno, it can be a mixture of both, or purely abrasive and dance floor driven.
Music is reciprocal. I have coined or phrased a term called "the reciprocal relationship" in music. The reciprocal relationship in
music demonstrates that tones excite chords, and chords excite tones. Here's an example to further elaborate on that: A chord
can invoke a specific feeling within the listener. But the strength or degree in which a feeling is invoked within the listener has a

DJ Koze might be one of the world's best producers, but above all he's a DJ, and it's his DJ ear that governs. Just as in a great set, so with his releases: "Seeing Aliens" came out of nowhere, a big buzzing beast of a track, to announce that Koze was back on the scene and prime everyone for the coming album, knock knock. But now that Koze has your attention, it's time to remind everyone what's most important about club music, pull things back, take a turn to the left, and get deep into the groove.
Thus "Pick Up": the second single from knock knock is 100% pure groove, doubly so in the extended 12" version. In a sense it's incredibly familiar - it is essentially a filter disco record, very close to something you could imagine coming out of Paris around the turn of the millennium. But of course, this is Koze. Nothing is normal or familiar in his world, and he's taken this most foundational of clubland staples into new territory. Flipping samples of Gladys Knight & the Pips "Neither One Of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)" and Melba Moore's "Pick Me Up, I'll Dance", it creates something completely airborne, shot through with emotions such as gods must feel: not quite explicable to the human mind but strong enough to knock you off your feet. In its way it's absolutely as powerful as "Seeing Aliens", but it comes in like the proverbial iron fist in a glove of velvet.
The flip, a ten-minute new track, "The Love Truck" is a big contrast again. If "Pick Up" is giddy flight, "The Love Truck" is woozy floating. Its sharp, clicking percussion recalls 2000s minimal techno, but this time absolutely nothing is generic. The long, intense, on-and-off bass tones, the flickers of birdsong, the pure voices slipping in backwards as if from the future... it's all like the most blissful dream, and culminates in a coda so subtle yet so beautiful it's like ever time you've ever seen the sun rise and thought "I never want this to end", all the while understanding deep down that the fleeting nature of the pleasure is also what give it its power. But of course, being created with that consummate DJ's ear, it's also full of the thrill of wondering what Koze has in store next.

The EP will be released through Agoria's newly found record label Sapiens on February 24th.

Title track 'Fragments' welcomes us with dabbling and shimmering percussions, accompanied by a cosy warm sub bass and a crispy drum framework. While the buttery tops and flashy FX effects subtly work their way through our hearing, we already sense the first vibrations of the peerless stellar synths unfolding continuously throughout the track.
Next up, we have Lola Palmer pleasing us with her very own version of the original. She adds a muffled kick and a drone bassline, turning the track into a matter of deep groove. Smooth piano chords nestle perfectly into this housy roller which is relying on a tasteful selection of lucent hats and twinkling shakers.
Following up is a true Alex Ranerro classic, going by the name of 'Jungfraujoch'. The Slovenian certainly aims for the good vibes with this harmonious piece of joy.
