Berlin native and Rubisco label head Nick Beringer lays down some serious rolling beat science for Mosaic’s 5th LTDX edition. The EP kicks off in style in the shape of ‘Intercity’: straddling a square 4/4 house rhythm with an ‘Art of Trance’ spirit ? all brought together in contemporary style. Layers of subtly filtered melody pulsate their way throughout, rising and falling as minimal elements collide for maximal sonic impact.Switching to more familiar territory, ‘Time Shift’ reins things back a notch as tight 909 beats swing to well rounded bottom end, carrying the warm layers of evolving synths and chorded elements with precision effect. Ending on the introspective mood of ‘Counterclockwise’, Beringer displays an even defter touch, heralding the light fantastic as the spectre of night passes by. More

Nick Beringer debuts on INFUSE to open the label’s 2021 schedule, offering up his stellar ‘Blue Blood’ EP. A rising DJ and producer at the heart of Berlin’s minimal house scene, Rubisco boss Nick Beringer has formed a growing reputation as a ‘go-to’ artist for quality productions across the genre in recent years, with his diverse discography welcoming material via the likes of Raum…Musik, Taverna Tracks, Mulen Records and Berg Audio to name just a few. With a sound fusing classic Detroit house and techno with more modern shades, ranging from electro-tinged elements through to more dubby textures, the German talent kickstarts 2021 with an impressive debut outing on FUSE sister imprint INFUSE as he delivers his four-track ‘Blue Blood’ EP. Lead cut ‘Concave’ is a perfect example of Beringer’s ability to fuse genres and nuances with ease and fluidity as skipping percussion licks guide skittering sci-fi electronics and sweeping atmospherics throughout an up-front EP opener, whilst vinyl only cut ‘Aint Got Nobody’ delves into deeper realms as squelching basslines merge with icy hats and infectious vocal iterations. For this 34th release, we give you the opportunity to grab 6 fantastic trax done by Nick Beringer. Straight from germany, this talented producer delivered some of the best deep house music around. Entitled “The second floor ep” (after the 1st floor ep out on wax classic 4), it starts with “Afterhour cut 1” which is one of those eminently soulful house tracks with a sparse approach to production, all the elements sounding so crisp and distinct in the mix but judged perfectly. whilst "Afterhour cut 2" is a dancefloor anthem in the pure DJ Sneak tradition. A side ends with “Afterhour cut 3” draping
the drums in an all-enveloping atmosphere with its oven-warm pads and ricanalogue bass, punctuated with jazzy chords and vocal murmurings.On the flip side, with "Afterhour cut 4" & “Afterhour cut 5” he eplores the deep side of the new jersey sound. “Afterhour cut 6” showcases he’s excellent knack for crafting Moodymann style textures with the depth to boot, combining a solid rhythmic snap with drawn out vocal landscapes and Detroit-referencing melodies. Nick’s approaching house from various angles and tempos and naturally there's plenty of deft usage of samples; such an EP just demonstrate how on top of their game SKYLAX is right now - big tip! Amadou Kuyateh is hailing from Frankfurt am Main and we are happy to welcome him aboard for our label. This record is his first release ever and it reflects his talent in a good way. Three lasting tracks, with different moods, but all of them with a lot of personality and we recommend to keep an eye on this young man, as for sure there will be more stuff coming from him in the near future. Edgardo Alonso better known as Sakro returns to our label with his second solo single, after his first release with us in 2017. Four different moods, ranging from his typical bouncy garage beats on „Eternal Horizon“, to the more house related tracks called „Flash“ and „Driving me Crazy“ on the B side and rounding off this release with the more electronic sounding „Into dreams“, which is a bit different from his usual stuff. Altogether a really nice package and a worthy follow up to the „No Time to Explain“ EP. More

After having released a single on Raum before, plus contributing a track to our 20 Years of Raum Musik compilation, that was released last year, Lee Burton now returns with his second solo single for our label. Two new tracks in his characteristic Sound design, cut on 45 rpm for maximum listening pleasure. Enjoy ! More

The next EP on Raum Musik is coming from our dear friend Jorge Savoretti. Jorge is hailing from Argentina and is one of the main artists in his country besides Franco Cinelli. We have been following Jorge’s work for quite a while and now it was the right match as for our label. We are very happy about this release and we hope that you enjoy the tracks as much as we do. Our next release is coming from Phil Evans. Phil is also part of the new generation of Dj’s and producers that are hailing from the Rhein-Main area around Frankfurt. Together with his best mate Markus Sommer he is running the label Pager records. He caught our attention already a while ago and so we were quite happy to receive the tracks for this EP from him. He has a lot of personality in his productions already and his musical range is also quite large going from Hip Hop to house, but also more stripped down stuff or Chicago house references can be found in his music selection and influences. Besides that he is a lovely and very sympathetic young man and so it is definitely worth keeping an eye on him, because he is on fire.

Raum Musik 100 is coming from Edgardo Alonso better known as Sakro. He is hailing from Mexico and we have been following his work for quite some time now. Therefor we are quite happy that we finally found the perfect match of tracks to put this single together. The title track of the EP „No time to explain“ already attracted a lot of attention during the summer when a handful of djs that were lucky enough to already have it, have been dropping the tune on some bigger stages and festivals and it quickly became a sought after track. We are very happy about our 100th release and as always we hope you enjoy the music as much as we do. Cheers and happy birthday Raum ! More
