Denis Sulta has announced new offshoot to his Sulta Selects imprint, ‘Silver Service’.
The debut release comes from Cromby - an Irish born, Berlin based producer on the up. Following a thumping set at Belfast’s beloved AVA Festival, his new EP will be released on 21st September and features three peak-time club weapons, inspired by the sounds of classic Chicago House. The lead Futurola is a hard-hitting, jacking house track that packs a fierce bassline and emotive punch, whilst B1, Barneymania is a Chicago-tinged acid roller that layers melodic chords, the EP ends with the dark and sci-fi-tinged electro of Fandango.
The new label follows on from Denis Sulta’s Selects imprint – home to three volumes of his own essential 12” series More

This feels deliciously fated. Musical soulmates, Cromby is the only person Sally C will go record shopping with. The duo minted their friendship back in 2016, not long after both migrated to Berlin. A friendship forged through shared dancefloors, long hours at the pair’s beloved Bikini Waxx and impromptu B2B sessions, they have a common passion for good times and serious digging. If you want a sense of the genesis of Sally’s label baby Big Saldo’s Chunkers, just listen to the cult-favourite ‘Big Saldo & Cromby Dusty Hip Haus Mix’ that’s lived on her Soundcloud since 2019.
Cromby knows a Chunker that’s for sure. His contribution to the label is elite. Rinsed by the pair all year, it’s supports also include Job Jobse and Bambounou. In January it highlighted Nachtiville, where it was played all weekend long and became an unofficial hype anthem of the festival. A fiercely hunted track I.D ever since, lock this in as one of those catchy Crombyclassics we all love and can’t stop playing (and singing). ‘Pump It’ is an atmospheric roller, a perfect cut for maintaining the energy after the hands-up vibes of ‘House Flava’. ‘Free’ features Cromby’s own vocal debut – “I didn’t realise at the time of writing how fitting the lyrics would be for our times unfortunately,” he shares. Driven by punchy purring bass, it brings plenty of rugged energy with 303 flourishes, while dreamy keys balance things nicely. One for the after-hours.
The EP is rounded out with the wicked hoover-led ‘Best Not Miss’, that transports us back to a steaming Trade dancefloor circa 1997 and is thrilling in every sense. More

Cromby returns to Radio Slave’s Rekids with three-track stunner ‘Skyboy EP’ Following 2021’s ‘Twisted Future’ on Rekids and EPs on Phantasy, Craigie Knowes, and his recently launched Potency imprint, Irish-born DJ/producer Cromby returns to Radio Slave’s label with three fast and chunky club cuts. Across ‘Skyboy EP’, the Panorama Bar regular’s three latest offerings show precisely why he’s one of house and techno's most exciting and dependable prospects. Opening the release, ‘Giddy Up’ combines skippy drums, sizzling pads, and squelchy acid lines for a propulsive club cut. On the flip, ‘Push’ leads with dubby bleeps, rolling low-end, and tripped-out vocal samples for a hypnotic late-night groover. Closing out the B-side is the title track ‘Skyboy’, which sees Cromby draw for emotive synths, trancey leads, and soaring atmospherics, a suitably compelling way to finish another standout EP from the Berlin-based artist.

Following standout appearances on Feel My Bicep, Unknown To The Unknown, and E-MISSIONS, Irish-born DJ/producer Cromby hits Rekids with a four-track EP of crisp techno cuts. Heavily utilising the sound of hardware across the release, ‘Twisted Future EP’ sees Cromby explore the depths of these classic sound palettes over robust techno frameworks. ‘IXP-42’ brings crunching drums and wiggling synths together for over two minutes, building tension before eventually, the much-awaited bassline comes in thick and fast. ‘Follow The Bass’ brings a dose of the unusual to proceedings, with snaking FM leads modulating throughout a maze of sizzling percussion. On the flip, Bleep meets Baltimore on ‘Relief’, with meaty acid lines, vocals and clattering drums sparring with each other across the track, while ‘Vortex’ rounds off the release, with bright shimmering stabs peppering the stomping drums and distinct squelch of the 303.

Next up on Bicep's Feel My Bicep imprint is a fresh single from fellow Irishman ?Cromby??, featuring two remixes from Electro stalwart ?DeFeKT and the ever-dependable ?Shanti Celeste??. Having held down a 6-year residency at ?Shine?? in his hometown of Belfast, Cromby now lives in Berlin where he has continued his ascent; having gone on to earn sets at ?Panorama Bar?? and? Robert Johnson ??as well as a release on Denis Sulta’s Silver Service label. Now - he slots neatly into the FMB catalogue with ?'Retribution'?? - a single that draws from his experience spent on the floor and behind the booth at clubs in Berlin, with it's stirring chords and frazzled drums. DeFeKT's offers up a buoyant, 808-heavy take on the original while Shanti's 'Chill' mix omits the kicks in favour of her signature sunny synth tones.

A1 Passenger Seat Driver (Hodini Remix) 8:04 min B1 Passenger Seat Driver 6:03 min B2 Running 6:50 min
Info:
After moving from London to Berlin Cromby is back on Tenderpark with his second EP for the vinyl label. The young man recreates our love for Deep House with two sample-based tracks which showcase his ever advancing skills with the old school Akai sampler MPC 2000 XL as well as his cool understanding of mixing haunting melodies with gripping groove patterns. The remix on the flip side comes from Hip-Hop super producer gone House lover Hodini who has collaborated with the talented bass player Chez Kerim for this funky workout.
The cover image shot by Achim Valbracht is the start of a new artwork series developed by Tenderpark art director Till Sperrle which revolves around critique of investor-driven architechture that has been dominating Berlin for several decades now. The speciously precious and glittering image displays a normalised and globally standardised kind of beauty but at the same time reveals a strong sense of loneliness.
As always both the mastering and as well as the lacquer cut of this record have been carefully executed by vinyl sound mastermind Helmut Erler at Dubplates & Mastering.

Tracklist:
A1 The Good Shit 5:58 min B1 Planets 5:52 min B2 Smoke & Bubbles 6:04 min
Info:
Cromby is an exciting addition to the London House music scene: Originally hailing from Belfast he has made camp in the British capital and brought his MPC 2000 XL with him. The young man who has grown up listening to Chez Damier and Moodymann makes use of the Japanese sampler from Akai in
a highly fresh and creative way combining raw drums with sweet and melancholic pads and chords. On his 'Planets And Parks EP' Cromby displays a very nice balance between a traditional Deep House understanding and a forward thinking attitude and is thus just perfect for Tenderparks's idea of
musicality. As far as the artwork of the record is concerned the beautiful black and white image is the last part of Tenderpark's current series concieved by art director Till Sperrle and photographer Magdalena Bichler. And as you've come to expect from Tenderpark all tracks have been mastered

David Jackson - 2020 Eurotrance Track
2
David Jackson - I Wanna Dance With Daisy
David Jackson brings some fresh house sounds to a new EP on Denis Sulta's Sulta Selects Silver Service label. The Half-Irish, German-born young prodigy, Jackson broke through on the scene with his massive track “Broken Heart” back in 2020, and has often been championed by the likes of Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Gerd Janson, & DJ Seinfeld, to name a few, and this EP is two tracks that would light up any dancefloor.
He kicks off with 2020 Eurotrance Track, a big tune with hands-in-the-air chords and chunky drums. It's peak time festival tackle that will unite crowds of any size, in a classy but good time vibe without a care in the world. I Wanna Dance With Daisy is littered with old school video game samples and a wonky bassline. The beats are metallic and edgy, the vocals cut up and the whole thing is sure to boggle brains on the dance floor.
This is a high impact EP ready to make its mark this summer and beyond. More

Gimbrère - No Title
Next up on Denis Sulta’s expertly selected vinyl label is a 3 track EP from 24 year-old Amsterdam DJ and producer Gimbrère.
Gimbrère’s love of dance music was sparked when he met 90s Dutch DJ legend Dimitri and caught his set at long-running Amsterdam techno festival Awakening at their 15th anniversary party in 2012. He shifted his focus from solely DJing to production of electronic (house)music from that point.
His debut single “A Thing” was released in 2018 and started to make waves with support from big names DJs, notably Denis and hitting top 5 on the Indie Dance and Nu Disco charts on Beatport.
His new 3 tracker presents 3 slices of epic 90s indebted dance goodness. “Breakbeat Passage” builds out an emotional, propulsive number from its booming break loop. The expert drum-programming and sample of “Makossa” has a pleasing French touch afro-house feel. Meanwhile the hi-energy filter house of “On My Mind” which recalls his debut “A Thing” is a guaranteed roof raiser. More

Liam Doc - Dorothy
Liam Doc AKA Liam Docherty is next up on Denis Sulta’s Sulta Selects Silver Service label.
Liam grew up in London before moving back to the family hometown of Glasgow at 14. Growing up, his schooling in house and techno was on the floor of the Sub Club’s legendary Saturday night session with residents Harri & Domenic.
After he started producing house and techno, his edit “Voices of East Harlem” caught Sulta’s attention, who championed it in his sets to awesome effect. Liam is the resident at Wednesday house and techno night RARE at Sub Club. He also started his own quarterly warehouse parties in Glasgow, called Cyberfreq. After hours illegal raves at first, after a run in with a Scottish tabloid they went legit and started programming them at Glasgow’s The Berkeley Suite club. In addition to releasing on SSSS, he’s founded his own label Eyeangle Records (releases from Kamus and Lobec) as well as sub-label Roux Records and released on Huntley & Palmers.
‘East Coast Edits’ (coming on 12” and digital) is a collection of ecstatic dance floor filtered edits, sure to give the floor at the Sub Club and beyond a workout. More

Denis Sulta’s Silver Service imprint - an offshoot of Sulta Selects - present SSSS-3, a two-track collaborative package from the inimitable Hammer and Atlus, Denis’ own darker alias.
Taking reign over the A-side, Belfast export Hammer brandishes a weighty dose of low-slung, swollen bass and disorienting vocal stabs on ‘Dance Since’. Using a palette of cathartic 90s house vocals he morphs their energy into something far more twisted.
For the B-side, Atlus forges an equally hefty fusion of raw percussion and swirling vocals, spun round by a dizzying acid bass lead.
Wasting no time in heading straight to the dancefloor, SSSS3 sees two esteemed characters doing what they do best.
