Massimiliano Pagliara’s Funnuvojere Records is thrilled to present a very special addition to its flourishing catalogue. This new release, ‘Hanging in The Stars Part 1’, comes from Voiski, aka Luc Kheradmand.

Voiski has been a prominent figure in the electronic scene for over a decade, with a discography that spans across labels such as Dekmantel, L.I.E.S, and Delsin Records. With ‘Hanging in the Stars Part 1’, he delivers a collection of tracks that showcases his mastery of sound design and emotive melodies.

‘Romance Mentale’ sets the tone for the EP with its deep, rolling bass line and soaring synth lines. The ambient ‘Harmonie Du Soir’ follows. It’s made of spacious pads creating a weightless atmosphere that provides a luxurious sonic experience.

‘Call It Madness’ has an infectious groove and propulsive tempo. With its layering of arpeggios that implode and scatter, the track creates a sense of euphoric energy that is driven by an unyielding beat.

The EP concludes with the ethereal pads and poignant melodies of its title track. With this unforgettable collection of tracks, anticipation for Part 2 is already building. More

Delsin marks its milestone 150th release in a rainstorm of gorgeous arps with a full EP from Voiski. For Luc Kheradmand it's a return to the label which carried his 2020 collaboration with Wata Igarashi and where he issued early single Breaths Written Outside Gloom. For Delsin it's the perfect way to sum up different dimensions of the label's identity - richly melodic, machine-powered and yet distinct from any illusion of a typical 'Delsin sound'. The End Of Fiction EP marks a new chapter in Kheradmand's approach and intention. His prolific back catalogue reaches back across countless releases for labels like L.I.E.S., Dekmantel UFO, Bassiani and his own Super 95. Here his established overdriven snarl is tempered, but not at the expense of the energy and emotion readily associated with his music. There's a trace of trance and early Detroit about the powerful lead lines on 'Blazing Star' and 'Hazy Suns', while 'Unreality' basks in blissful acid and 'Ideodelika' charts a course through progressive, psychedelic techno. The End Of Fiction still bristles with the peak time energy Voiski is often known for, but it's the melodies which dominate the overall narrative as he sets out a renewed clarity in his sound. More

November will find Delsin release a new EP from Voiski entitled Breaths Written Outside Gloom that features four cuts of the Frenchman's trademark techno. Before now he has released solo and with various others on labels such as LIES and Syncrophone and always manages to cook up gurgling grooves and textured tracks that take you deep down the rabbit hole. Opener 'Downhearted Holidays' is all about a menacing bassline that looms large below jostling metal percussion and frazzled synth lines. It's spare and absorbing, inhuman and bleak in the most inviting way. 'Galaxy Call' is a more energetic affair with squeaking, pixelated and high pitched melodies squealing over a gloomy and gloopy bass line. Militant snares are upright and driven and the result is a track that sounds like the machines are taking over. 'Mathematical Park' is about mid tempo drums, paranoid synth drones and desolate urban soundscapes all run through with a sense of dark futurism and finally 'Answer Silently' is the slowest and swampiest of the lot. A growing sense of darkness permeates slithering synths, icy hi hats and lazy drums and there is a real air of foreboding through this and all the cuts here that make it perfect night time music. François X presents Digital Fever

More than 2 years after his last solo project, François X returns with an EP on his new platform, XX LAB.

Faithfully following the label aesthetic, the tracks precisely reveal key themes of loneliness and self-identity quest, translated into a sheer combination of ecstatic and murky feelings accompanied by body bumping grooves. Recorded prolifically during covid this record unveils an innovative approach to techno from François, by incorporating modern pop and rap productions techniques he has developed over the period such as arrangements and Vocal FX (all the vocals loops and FXs are his.)

There is a profound sense of creative freedom in how François X’s music has evolved recently. Shifting from academic techno structures in his previous work, to a more brutal and edgy aesthetic, François has definitely unleashed his productive spirit.

The opening track “Forever’ N' 'Fever' represents a prime example of this imaginative boiling mind, setting off the EP’s murky tone with its evocative trappish vibe. This driving effervescence brings out a remarkable plurality in the tonalities of the compositions, swinging between the prompt and fiery club-ready atmosphere of "Lone Wolf Cabin'' to the ecstatic and emotive chemistry of "Shame Stare". This paradoxical structure can also inform us about its creator, as a retranscription of the emotions that run through him.

The musical output will be accompanied by a limited edition, where François X takes us through his mind and emotions to explore the inner feelings behind each track of Digital Fever. Discover an oriented listening session narrated by the XX LAB representatives, with an edited soundtrack of the EP, released on an impressive 7’ square clear vinyl specially designed for the project. Operating as a new series to his longstanding dement3d imprint, founded back in 2011 alongside co-founder hbt, the project will serve as a cultural platform for artists to share visions and expansive productions not confined within the worlds of house and techno, enabling the freedom to explore genres across the electronic sphere. The inaugural ep comes from Francois X with the four tracks featured on '001' bridging the gap between his earlier and forthcoming work as well as his future vision for the imprint, incorporating broken arrangements, captivating soundscapes, and immersive textures to reveal a warmer, more house-focused side to x's sound across slower, entrancing tempos. Whilst zoumenou's productions remain centred around his own personal vision of the night, highlighted by the track titles across the package, the cuts explore and delve deep into the idea of open expression within landscapes heightened through the sense of both obscurity and mystery, returning back to ideas explored within his IRREGULAR PASSION LP released in 2018. A stranger can become a friend, you suddenly become intimate with a woman or a man who's name you will never find out, while darkness also allows you to conceal your true identity - even become someone else. Inspiration for this album emanates from the fascination towards the intensity of what nightlife has to offer ; euphoria and melancholy, spotlights or incognito, sexual contact or lonely voyeurism... Francois X entertains the listener with playful ambiguity and unsettling, yet sensual atmospheres.

The long awaited debut EP of Francois X on DEMENT3D. Francois X is a hard worker. Never tired of trying new experiences and starting new initiatives to focus on his energy. Since 2008 he's been constantly involved in developing DEMENT3D. First as a DJ, then co-running the label, and more recently, remixing Polar Inertia, releasing his collaborative project with Opuswerk - Hiss : 1292 - (by the way, second Hiss EP is on its way...). Given all this history, it is only high time for him to unleash some of his black magic upon us, with his first full-blown EP since September 2011 (and that mighty Marcel Dettmann Remix) on the beloved Deeply Rooted imprint. Much like hundreds of techno records that we love, Francois subtly weaves a canvas of very personal links between sound treatments and life events, time decay and society, spatialization and science-fiction, rumble and voodoo tribe rituals, and delivers some very powerful moments of raw and gritty music. We're ver y happy to let one of the two people we call ''boss'' share his music and vision, hope you'll lose yourself on this one as much as we have.

Agents Of Time are proud to present ‘Ordinary Cosmic Dance’, the new EP on their own Obscura imprint. Over three tracks the Bari based trio brandish hypnotic, looping melodies in techno structures with subtle trance references. It arrives a year after the birth of the label, which has since issued music by Hiver, Amandra and The Hacker amongst others. ‘Cosmic Frequencies’ revolves around a syncopated synth line that swells its way through mesmeric percussion and entrancing pads. ‘Dance Impulse’ takes fragments of dub techno and remoulds them into a glitchy dancefloor workout. ‘Ordinary Chaos’ builds low end frequencies juxtaposed with a stripped back melodic lead and staccato bass. Italian duo Hiver present the Spiritual Machines EP, their debut on Obscura. 'Inverted Scale' brandishes a hypnotic synth lead that swirls into a formidable energy.
