„All The Colours“ was a concept that came about from Andy Ash bringing together his music and visual art in an attempt to try and identify the common ground between the two. In both mediums, Andy attempts to convey the full range of human identity – at first you see and hear euphoria and playfulness, but look a little closer and you will also notice anger, sadness and tension. On this album, Andy approaches house music as the vehicle to convey many different feelings. These tracks are designed to be played on the dancefloor and bring people together – this is what house music has always been about!

The whole album was made over a two-year period in Andy’s home studio using a mixture of analogue hardware and samples. During this period, Andy was suffering with some significant mental health problems and this album represents his attempts to channel this energy into something productive. This is also the first time Andy has worked with vocalists, bringing a new dimension to his music. Whether it is the old school inspired „The sound“ which features vocalist Erik Rico, or the deep and moody „I’m Here“ featuring Liverpool vocalist Amber Kuti, this album brings many different shades of house music to the table! JUSTICE, The French duo formed by Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, is the band of a whole generation. When the two friends were still bright students in graphic design, in 2003 they made JUSTICE a place to experiment a hybrid genre between music and image, which blends pop and electronic borders, and showcases the talents of 2 fascinating passionate pop culture craftsmen, bored with hierarchy. They met Pedro Winter who had just founded his label ED BANGER RECORDS, he immediately signs them after listening to "We Are Your Friends" which, with its joyful and vitamin-enriched electro beats combined with exhilarating voices, became the hymn of a whole generation and one of the most important tracks of the year 2000, celebrating a reconciliation of pop music and the dancefloor. It was awarded an MTV Video Award in 2007, bringing about the famous live TV appearance with Kanye West outraged that his million $ clip was outclassed by a home-made bomb. Release Info:
It’s Italian time! Sam Ruffillo is back. Sicilian producer doing smooth Balearic disco with Italian vocals. The direction is clear: Sam Ruffillo's music brings us back into the Italian riviera and the hippy days of Ibiza in the late 1970ies. Even his way of production is similar to how the early days disco producers in Italia used to work: No samples needed. Instead a few guest musicians come to jam over Sam's beats in his Italian studio space. Guitar, bass, percussions. Sam later makes the production and added keyboard solos and put together the vibes into what is this new EP.

The girl voice comes from NINFA. It’s the classic studio story: Ninfa is a singer and DJ and friend of Sam. She was hanging at the studio while Sam was finishing these tracks. She stated to sing along... the words came up spontaneously… so they decided to record her and finally decided to keep them. The vibe was too good. Why talk English if u can do it better: in Italian! :)

This is second for Toy Tonics after his Sport House EP from last year. Sam also appeared on the solo record of Joel Holmes on Toy Tonics. Together with Kapote Modica he co-produced and made the beats on that record. Now Sam is back with this pure Italian EP. Inclusive remixes by new German artists Gome and Italian Musemeci - known to many from his fabulous Italo-trance releases on Diynamic records.

The GOMMA DANCEFLOOR GEMS Vol 2

12 tracks originally released on the indie dance label GOMMA RECORDS between 2001 and 2010. (Gomma was the label Toy Tonics did before starting Toy Tonics.) Along with DFA and Output records Gomma released a wild mix of electronic dance music, indie rock, undergound disco, post punk and new wave funk that was big in the 2000s. The Y2K sound!

Gomma released music by artists like Peaches, Whomadewho, The Rammellzee, James Murphy, LCD soundsystem and artists like Nick McCarthy of Franz Ferdinand.
Now it’s 2023 and its feels fresh to put a spotlight on some of these tracks again.
And so here comes a 2nd compilation part of Gomma tracks:
Nancy Whang the singer of LCD Soundsystem, WhoMadeWho (the band started their career on Gomma), Italian disco producer Bottin, UK Indie Disco hero The Deadstock 33s aka Justin Robertson, NY Disco hipsters In Flagranti, German producers Munk and many more on this compilation.

Gomma not only was a record label, but was also a home for cutting edge design, wild T-shirt styles, underground exhibitions with new artists from the Berlin scene and crazy poster and fanzine design.
Many graphic design trends of the last years were preceded by what the artists on Gomma were doing. And many record and street wear labels of today look a bit like Gomma was looking before ... copying the images that Gomma preceeded: ironic cartoons, trash aesthetics, greek symbols, ugly design ideas and lot of ironic things.
The Gomma visuals world was exposed in a couple of exhibitions around the world and at a big exhibition at #hausderkunst München before the label was closed in 2015. (when Toy Tonics took off...)

Pioneers in their own musical approaches, Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto, began their exploration of sound in the evocatively titled V.I.R.U.S series in 2002. After more than a decade from the release of the collection's final installment with "Summvs" in 2011, NOTON reissues all the five albums between June and October 2022.

With its impressionistic atmosphere, in this collaborative project two generations met and shared the idea of electronic music as an inspiration source for new musical structures. Over a series of five albums, Vrioon (2002),Insen (2005), Revep (2006), utp_ (2008), and summvs (2011), the duo have explored blending electronic and acoustic sounds into a meditative whole that is at once expressive, breathing and precision-engineered.

Remastered in collaboration with Calyx Mastering, the recordings of Vrioon, Insen, Revep, Utp_, and Summvs are made available on vinyl and CD under the title 'reMASTER, accompanied by exclusive, unreleased compositions and housed in a beautifully designed sleeve with original cover art by Carsten Nicolai.

In November 2022, a dedicated, limited edition cardboard slipcase will be available as a separate item from the V.I.R.U.S. LPs/CDs.

Yuksek unveils his new album coming as 2LP and CD featuring a bunch of french finest artists on collaboration duty : Breakbot, Polo & Pan, Isaac Delusion, Zombie Zombie, Juveniles ... to name a few!

This fourth album marks a turning point, that of independence and letting go.
For the past three years Yuksek has experimented, collaborated with many artists for no other purpose than shared pleasure, and this album has stood out more than it has been thought out. It's probably his most natural album, the one that sprang up by itself.

At the release of his 3rd album Nous Horizon Yuksek had announced that it would surely be the last, tired of the music system, of touring, then the desire came back with a return to the sources, djing and music for dancing, the one we share, the one that we live with our whole body.

The Latin, Brazilian influence is very clear in his dj-sets, and his collaborations with Fatnotronic (Philippi & Rodrigo) as well as with Processman and his tribute to Hélio Matheus (Mais Kriola) confirm on this album this taste for the Brazilian sound and the richness of its disco and pop scene of the 70's and 80's (Marcos Valle, Gilberto Gil, Di Melo ...).

For some Nosso Ritmo will also sound more Anglo Saxon than the previous ones, perhaps by his uninhibited and more instinctive approach, by his direct filiation with artists such as Sylvester (on Into the light sung by Isaac Delusion) or his tributes to some 90's dirty house sound with G.F.Y. (sung by Queen Rose), This Feeling and Gourgeous composed with Confidence man.

We also find in this album Yuksek's taste for experimentation and destructured and ecstatic electronic pieces, especially on his collaborations with Zombie Zombie and Polo & Pan, on J'aime les Synthes as well as on Burning, produced with his companion longtime studio Jean-Sylvain from Juveniles.

Then there is love and gentleness as in his collaboration with Breakbot & Irfane as well as in Universal love, a sort of low-tempo psychedelic mantra, and a direct affiliation with the first French-touch sound on The Rollercoaster.
Yuksek has been making film music for several years and producing many artists, which has allowed him to refocus his personal project on his essence, his first love, the groove.

His fourth album is the perfect demonstration of this, a generous, modern and referenced dance music album, subtle, timeless and unifying, Nosso Ritmo, the rhythm that connects us.

Apparel Wax's 7inches vinyl series continues with a release focused on new, exciting sounds. APLMINI003 is composed, as usual, of two tracks, one per side. Side A kicks off with a nu-disco track, in which the solos of a wild sax and a loopy guitar riff takes the listener by the hand until the very last second. Side B, however, shows the more experimental part of APLWAX's soul, with a beat that seems nostalgic of the 90s/00s UK sounds, a broken beat and a decidedly more pressing rhythm, which recalls D&B influences, British-style Electronica. The possibility of combining tracks with different styles on the same record represents a sonic challenge, but APLWAX has always been accustomed to combining different musical currents, keeping the fresh and happy soul of its brand clear. London born, Berlin living Cody Currie comes with his first SOLO EP on Toy Tonics.
The first of a couple of EPs he will do on his musical journey with the German label crew. Cody is a special talent. People who follow the new UK Dance-Jazz scene know him already. He studied music in London, before jumping into releasing music on labels like Razor n Tape & Classic Music Company that made him instantly one of the key names to follow among the new generation of producers that connect Jazz, Soul with House, broken beats and futuristic elements.
Cody moved to Berlin 2 years ago and instantly connected with the young growing jazz oriented scene over there. He met US jazz pianist Joel Holmes. 4 times Grammy nominated former keyboarder of the legendary Roy Hargrove band and Carls Craigs synthesizer ensemble. Also living in Berlin now.
Together they released two EPs on Toy Tonics last year that created a certain buzz.
After that releases Toy Tonics and Cody decided to go on together. And so here you get MOVES.

Four moody broken beat tracks (+ a house version of Moves).
The lead song Moves features rinse fm radio host Eliza Rose on the mic. Other features are London born jazz talents Andreas Kon & Ally McMahon.

On this EP, Cody moves into an atmospheric garage-y broken beat territory as an ode to his London roots. Rich chords, catchy hooks and hard hitting rhythms.

2018 marks our first step into album territory, releasing the sophomore album “High life” of Heist’s very own Detroit Swindle, to be released end of May. This single features the album cut “Flavourism” with vocals from Seven Davis Jr. Here, the single is presented with remixes by the amazing Pépé Bradock and Boston-to-NYC house duo John Barera & Will Martin.
Flavourism is as much a throwback track to classic Dam Swindleterritory, as it is a look into their contemporary view on soulful deep house. The vibe is set by Seven Davis Jr.’s distinctive vocals, accompanied by warm ‘side-chained’ pads and a rubbery live synth-bassline. Fans of “The Wrap Around” will definitely feel a nod to that 2012 classic with those Prophet pads. If you’ve seen their live performance with Seven Davis Jr. during Dour festival in 2015 or heard their remix for SDJ’s track “Friends” on Classic Music Company, you might already anticipate a collaboration that works like a charm.
When deciding on a remixer for this project, the boys wanted to do something special. Ask someone special. And so it happened that they asked Pépé Bradock: someone who stood at the root of European house music and has pioneered in the genre, carefully curating his own style into something that surpasses genres. Here, he delivers both a stunning and deep interpretation of the original, with added harmonies, a touch of lo-fi and his own signature electronics. On top comes the ‘acapella’, stripped from all percussion and leaving the vocal and all of Pépé’s lovely weirdness.
The single further features US house duo John Barera & Will Martin, who have already released some amazing music on Dolly, or John’s own ‘ Supply records’. Not surprisingly, they deliver a great clubby house cut with some Chicago flavour, dubbing and out the vocal to a basic mantra: “I’ll always keep”.
