Guy Gerber welcomes the wonderfully talented Sonodab to his Supplement Facts imprint with his ‘Nowhere EP’ - four original tracks, taking you on a journey through deep, dubby house and techno. First up ‘Acid Rhythm’ is carried by a strong groove, flowing along on a deep hypnotic wave with warbling synths subtly rising and falling back into the deep dubby atmosphere. Holding onto the fluid movement and fuzzy warmth, ‘Ars Geotia’ takes a techno turn with warm stabbing keys and prominent hi hats that carry the track through a solid, groovy pace until the end. Next up ‘Freak’ is tighter, driving and techy with an array of intricate percussions and a precisely formulated loop, boasting plenty of swing and groove while later, warm pads envelop the rippling synth structures. Rounding off the EP and creating a cohesive whole, ‘Bon Voyage’ delivers a smooth dose of techno, beautifully textured with eerie haunts followed by dark waves and minimal clicks and bleeps. More

Coming in fresh for 2019 is Athens native G.U.S with his 4 track EP Mind Reflection released as ELM 1012. Both sides of the vinyl are equally as strong and set the pace for a ride through early UK breakbeat sounds and continue beyond into house with a nostalgic feel but with a futuristic edge.

Elephant Moon proudly presents Russian producer Plantae (Artyom Zlobin).. His love for contemporary electronic music came a little later in life, with early influences coming from the worlds of old rock, jazz, hip-hop and older electronic recordings. He has a deep-seated love for nature, and counts art, design, books and film among his inspirations outside of music. On this EP he channels all his influences into four nuanced cuts, straight from his laboratory to John Dimas, the head scientist at Elephant Moon.

"Elephant Moon unveils the latest instalment with a hot new EP from Lee Burton. The Six Dogs resident, has been busy of late with a steady flow of releases on labels like Body Parts , developing his own distinct brand of dubby, cosmic house On side A, he gets things moving nicely with '15.30 (The Jam)', an instantly catchy, groove-heavy bubbler with shimmering pads and infectious, skipping percussion. '12 Angry Apes' follows up with a slightly more pensive mood, though still maintaining a skip in its step. This one feels as though it's on the verge of an emotional outburst. Over on the flipside the contemplation continues with 'Osmosis', which will open the parts of your mind other tunes just can't reach, taking you away to distant lands where your spirit can be free. The pads and keys alone are enough to transport you from your everyday life into another dimension... fresh! From the label: "Elephant Moon continues its steady schedule of releases with a brand new EP from label owner John Dimas and Danish talent Samuel Andre Madsen (AKA S.A.M). On this fresh new release we're treated to two tracks from Monsieur Dimas and two from S.A.M. To open we have a quirky little space jam called 'Moon Patrol' by John Dimas. It has chunky percussion at its foundation with off-key chimes and cosmic pads giving it an interstellar feel. Samuel's 'Reshaped For Moonwalk' mix puts John's mix on a diet, making it far lighter and focusing on the ethereal elements turning it into a sweet galactic ditty. On the flip we get a sombre bossa nova ride from S.A.M., all jazzy with a grooving bassline and galloping beats. It's a cool, laid back riddim from the Dane and we're sure you'll love it. Elephant Moon hits us with a super dope batch of new music this Spring. The new release is a collection of music from several different artists and demonstrates the diversity of the label?s output. Across four brand new tracks we?re presented with smooth grooves, odd, whimsical sound design and dynamic dance floor rollers. Things start off tentatively with Italian Rinaldo Makaj?s ?Quasar?, a dreamy soundscape which envelopes you in its lush rhythms and deep, meditative bassline. Josh Tweek?s ?Coffee Curves? shares side A with ?Quasar?, though the atmosphere is totally different. Confused robotic bleeps and effects pop up throughout, seemingly out of sync with the percussion while a sombre b-line rumbles below. On the flip side we have ?Oulton Road? by Christian AB. A vibey cut, which encapsulates all that is great about the deeper end of house music; measured, emotive and utterly danceable. Accompanying ?Oulton Road? is ?Element Of Lights? by Gianmarco Orsini, a bouncing dance floor-ready slice of 4x4 rudeness . "Introducing a brand new label from Berlin-based Greek, John Dimas. Elephant Moon is a platform conceived by John to simply collect and release music from his talented group of friends. Having built up a strong reputation thanks to his excellent back catalogue of productions on labels such as One Records and La Vie En Rose, he decided that now is the time to dedicate his deep knowledge of house and techno to running a label of his own. The first release sees John teaming up with his good friend, Paris producer Djebali. Having a mutual admiration for each other's work, it was a logical move for the two artists to collaborate. A few studio sessions resulted in the 'Soul Vision' EP, which is comprised three tracks together with a special DJ tool. The title-track on side-A focuses on the dance floor, bringing groove-led jazzy vibes throughout. A classic house atmosphere pervades, demonstrating the duo's ability to channel the past in a contemporary manner. As an added bonus, as both men are fans of DJ tools, there's a 'beats only' version of the track for those who love a bit of spritely percussion. On side-B, we get 'Faith', a heads-down workout, which would be perfect to throw into the mix, mid-set - not too hectic, though with just enough verve to keep the energy levels high. Finally, 'Healer' closes out the flip side, instilling a light, airy vibe to the EP - infused with more jazz-inflected rhythms and a warm feeling from start to end."
