After new releases by Alexander Johansson & Mattias Fridell in April and Vinicius Honorio in May, James Ruskin welcomes back Kr!z with his third EP for Blueprint.

Kr!z has been at the forefront of techno for more than a decade. Influenced by the hypnotic and energetic sound helmed by veterans such as Jeff Mills, Steve Rachmad and James Ruskin, he gradually but steadily developed his own identity in the international techno scene. After making a name for himself as a skilled DJ in home country Belgium and the Netherlands, Kr!z launched Token Records in 2007. It has since been a leading outlet for heady, purist sounds. He rapidly established the label as a fixed value with a timeless and powerful sound and took it around the world with label nights on every continent.

After 12 years spent assiduously focused on curating the Token discography, showcasing artists he has nurtured and supported over this time, 2019 saw the release of his long awaited debut EP on Token. "Mantra" received high acclaim by both media and the scene's key DJs. This continued in 2020, when he released the track "Scorpion's Tail" on Voltage Imprint and "Malice" & "Imperative Needs" as part of a split EP with Pfirter on his MindTrip label. 2022 was his most prolific year to date with three full EPs seeing the light of day: "Neutrino EP" on James Ruskin's Blueprint Records, "The Tunnel" on Setaoc Mass' SK_eleven and "Atlantis" on his Token. In 2023 he released a follow up on Blueprint "Revelation", a split EP with Steve Rachmad on Reclaim Your City and "Marbles" on Token.

Now, the Belgian DJ and producer returns to Blueprint with a new 4-tracker this summer, entitled "Horo EP".

Almost a year on since his Blueprint Records debut, the London-based Brazilian, Vinicius Honorio delivers the follow-up to "Sem Rumo".
With a storied history in DJing and producing, starting in Rio de Janeiro as a D&B selector before settling into London's techno sphere, the Brazilian producer pens dark and dubby textures. Delivering releases on his own label, Liberta Records as well as the likes of Modularz, Mord, Token and of course, Blueprint he has displayed his penchant for trippy and foreboding techno whilst encapsulating the energy and passion that have come to be synonymous with his style. A style that also permeates his DJ sets which he's taken around the globe.

"Ominous Music" features four hard-hitting Techno tracks characteristic of his style. Released 31 May on vinyl and digitally.

Lømsk's Alexander Johansson and Mattias Fridell made their Blueprint Records debut at the start of last year with their "Geometriska Strukturer EP" (BP067). Now they're back with a new four-tracker, "Marvatten EP".

This Swedish duo have built an impressive reputation since their production debut in 2000 and have gone on to release music on labels including Audio Assault, Symbolism, H. Productions, ARMS, XXX Records, and of course James Ruskin's Blueprint, as well as their own Lømsk label, which they launched in 2022.

On "Marvatten EP" they deliver four more solid Techno cuts that are primed for the dance floor, set forrelease 26 April on vinyl and digitally.

Dustin Zahn returns to James Ruskin's label with the follow-up to his 2021 Blueprint debut "Hand Over Control" (BP061). "Temporary Vandalism EP" features four new Techno jams from the Enemy Records head.

Since 1998, Dustin Zahn's work has put his career on a steady ascent. Along the way, he has gained years of experience and unrivalled musical diversity as both a producer and performer, earning him respect among techno and house legends, purists, and contemporary DJs. He performs regularly around the world and his DJ sets are much like his releases. "I like it dark enough for the boys, but groovy enough for the girls", says Zahn. With a preference for marathon sets and his laid-back approach to life and music, heseamlessly traverses through various genres to create a unique, hypnotic vibe. As a producer, his releases on labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, CLR and his own Enemy Records have brought him international success. And his remixes for the likes of Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Green Velvet, Dubfire, Nic Fancuilli, Mark Broom, Joel Mull and more have helped catapult him into the collections of DJs everywhere.

James Ruskin's Blueprint Records welcomes Setaoc Mass to the label's ever-increasing roster of techno artists.

As a DJ and producer, Setaoc Mass is part of a select cut of young artists who are absorbing techno's legacy and carrying the torch into tomorrow. Whilst overseeing his own imprints, SK¦eleven and SKX, his releases push a galvanising brand of techno steeped in a sense of urgency, ever-propulsive with acute detailing and nods to a futuristic space-age. As a selector, the Mancunian's extended DJ sets pull from an expansive spectrum of material both new and old.

Delivering four new techno cuts that form his 'Working Ways EP', it lands on vinyl and digital for release on 27 October. More

Irish-born, Manchester-based Kerrie is a multi-disciplinary artist, incorporating live sets, DJing, producing and running her label Dark Machine Funk across her repertoire of work. Now, Kerrie follows up last year's 'Raw Regimen' (BP063) with a second EP for James Ruskin's seminal Blueprint Records.

Having garnered a rich musical education through working at and holding a DJ residency for one of the UK's most respected record shops Eastern Bloc, Kerrie's in-depth knowledge and unwavering dedication to music shines through her notable back catalogue and bolshy, unforgiving DJ and Live sets. Honing her craft for over a decade, Kerrie has played worldwide in celebrated venues such as Tresor, Berghain, fabric, FOLD, Elsewhere NYC and festivals including Freedom Medellin, Freerotation, Drift and Basilar.

First learning to mix via her brother's turntables in the early 2000s, it wasn't until 2009 that Kerrie invested in her own set-up and built an extensive record collection, covering everything from ambient, electronic, house, EBM, acid, electro, and her go-to genre, techno. Kerrie delivers tough moods from the turntables, as conveyed in her mixes for Reclaim Your City, Bassiani, SLAM and Crack, where she carefully blended high-energy styles of UK, Detroit, and European techno, many of which stem from the 90s and the 00s. It's frequent to hear Kerrie weave broken elements into her mixes too, chopping up the 4/4 groove at just the right moment to keep things propulsive. Kerrie's Live sets are fast becoming renowned for their trippy motifs and high impact on the dancefloor, applauded by Berlin's long-running club Tresor, where she made several appearances with her Elektron machines. Kerrie's Live set at Freerotation in 2019 was one of the festival's most talked-about debuts, and this year, Kerrie will return to and debut at multiple festivals and clubs across Europe and the Americas.

Following well-received releases on labels such as Don't Be Afraid, Cultivated Electronics, I Love Acid and Symbolism, Kerrie launched her imprint Dark Machine Funk [DMF] in 2020. The label homes her distinctly raw aesthetic and honours her love for dark, gritty, metallic and industrial sounds melded with elements of funk, heavily influenced by second-wave Detroit artists, UK techno and music by some of her favourite artists; James Ruskin, Blawan and Surgeon. Kerrie's first release on DMF, 'Inner Space PT1', was praised by Resident Advisor, who credited her ability to make "lean, fierce techno that knows how to groove."

2022 was a watershed year for Kerrie's productions. She debuted on the monumental UK techno label Blueprint with her EP 'Raw Regimen', which landed acclaimed reviews. Truly welcomed to the Blueprint family, Kerrie shares her second EP on the label in May and joins the crew at Blueprint showcases around the globe. This year marks the release of Kerrie's 10th EP on vinyl, and considering her consistent output on DMF, Blueprint and many more labels, the producer shows no sign of slowing down.

Coming to international prominence in more recent years, regardless of her decade-long tenure in Manchester's vibrant scene, Kerrie is deeply invested in the culture of electronic music, starting from her teenage era as a raver in Ireland up to her innovative projects today. In 2017, she founded Eastern Bloc's in-house event space to nurture local talent, which remains at the heart of Manchester's music community. Having ended her 11-year stint at the shop in 2023 to fully commit to the studio and accommodate her increasingly busy tour schedule, Kerrie is forging a long-lasting path fuelled by drive, passion, authenticity and a community-first way of thinking. Part 1 of Rommek’s ‘Set in Stone Trilogy’ for Blueprint sets the tone of the EP with an ambience of dark, atmospherics that build intensely leaving you with a feeling of anticipation of what is to come. As a recent emerging artist, Rommek has shown promising developments in his own sound, as well as carving his way into the current techno scene. Makaton, who made his Blueprint debut in 2015 with ‘Nothing Can Be Held In Our Hands For Long’ as well as an appearance on this summer’s Blueprint anniversary compilation with the track ‘Slur’, now returns to the label with a 4-track EP, ‘When The Dead Rise From The Sea’. As expected from the Rodz-Konez label head, Makaton (Steve Bailey) who has also been delivering cutting-edge techno on Token and RSB like the recent ‘Defiler’ surrenders 4 categorical cuts of distortion and destruction. From the experimental introductory ‘Durdle Dor’ (named after the natural limestone arch on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset) Makaton sets the scene before launching into the foreboding rise of ‘High Priestess’. Flipping over, ‘Coast To Coast’ drives the EP onwards with deep techno beats before the refractory ‘Through Fire and Water’. ‘When The Dead Rise From The Sea’ is not just an EP to slaughter the dance floor but also a self contained slice of Makaton’s dark artistry which follows its concept throughout.

Blueprint are pleased to announce 'Pluralism', the latest EP from Berlin based techno protagonist and Blueprint affiliate Sigha. Sigha is a name that has become synonymous with forward thinking techno and electronic music. His interest in immersive sound design and experimentation combined with a staunchly British take on the genre have helped him carve a unique path through a densely populated field. Having first cut his teeth on acclaimed imprint Hotflush Recordings as well as his own branded label Our Circula Sound, Sigha then fomented a relationship with Blueprint since his 2011 EP I Am Apathy, I Am Submission. Now 2015 sees a return to Blueprint with ‘Pluralism’. Opening track, ‘Pluralism’ is rife with melodic glitches and punchy bass. Beautifully dark, immersive and hypnotic, ‘Desire’ hits the middle ground where techno meets drone, and ‘Demonstration’ is geared towards the final assault on the dancefloor, when techno feels like the only coherent medium of communication.
