A2. Coldreams - Crazy Night
A3. Coldreams - Burning Passion
B1. Coldreams - Bulbs and Bubbles
B2. Coldreams- Turn the Button
B3. Coldreams - Don't Cry (reprise)
Short Info:
Limited and remastered from original tapes. Available for the first time on vinyl, fully licenced.
Insert with band history and unpublished pictures.
After the repress of their single "Eyes / Morning Rain", Camisole Records is proud to announce the reissue of Coldreams tape " Crazy Night ".
Recorded in 1984-1985 by a gang of young students passionate about Post-Punk this record represents the culmination of the band first period.
Haunted lyrics and melancholia were already the basics of their sound and from "Don't Cry" to "Crazy Night / Burning Passion" it's difficult to imagine that they were only 18 to 19 years old at that time.
"Bulbs and Bubbles" and "Turn the Button" show their pop appeal which definitely takes them apart from their contemporaries and all-around gloomy feelings infuse these six tracks which unveils another part of Coldreams history...

Prodot - Changes ( Monika Ross Remix)
The seventh installment on Certain Circles comes with a fresh and completely new artwork design. It is also the first solo EP on the label and features a young and promising talent from Argentina, who goes by the name of Prodot. His productions aiming straight at the dancefloor with very driving grooves and clever melodic parts, which create a special atmosphere throughout his tracks. The record gets completed with a banging remix by Monika Ross, who delivers a cheeky stripped down version, with a subwoofer rattling bassline. Attenzione!

Fresh imprint Caldeira open their account with the first vinyl retrospective of Swiss composer Louis Crelier, whose FM sorcery and LinnDrum drama takes the listener away to an imaginary Africa.
Standing proud amid the sound waves, Caldeira emerges with a singular mission; to bring us music with hidden depth. Whether it's a reissue or retrospective, archival or original, each release reflects the Michelin-grade tastebuds of label founder Camille Bertin AKA Plastic Bamboo.
Operating out of the shadow of Les Puces, the Saint-Ouen digger, DJ and producer has turned those in the know onto a wealth of zouk, boogie, proto-house and Balearic bombs over the past couple of years, but it seems he's saved something truly special for this first release.
Rich with FM synthesis, infectious rhythms and evocative motifs, Rester Partir transports us to a fantasised Africa, found onstage at a Lausanne Theatre in 1985. Scoring a story about a 19th Century French missionary's trip to Timbuktu, Swiss composer Louis Crelier created his own sonic landscape, capturing the exoticism and otherness of an imaginary Mali. Though the hypnotic rhythms and cascading mallets conjure images of the continent, the queasy keys, dubby idents and synthetic sonatas suggest something more interplanetary - picture James T. Kirk and Spock beaming down into the ochre dust of a ruined city.
Aided and abetted by a selection of ambient interludes, jazzy diversions and polyrhythmic excerpts from Crelier's film work, as well as the exceptionally Balearic Deep In The Dale from TV series Alpine Academy, the largely unreleased compositions on Rester Partir finally break the fourth wall to find the wider audience they deserve.

Track list:

B1 Sandpaper ft. Jamie Lidell (Sound Support Remix)
B2 Sandpaper ft. Jamie Lidell (Instrumental Mix)
Release Info:
We are very pleased to finally present you a new Lorenz Rhode release, for the „Sandpaper EP“ Lorenz Rhode
and Jamie Lidell get together again. Their first collab „Any Kind of Pressure“ was followed by Lorenz joining
Jamie’s world tour and a remix of „Big Love“ for Warp Records. Jamie performs with an amazing energy, and his
soulful voice is carried by a warm and playful house backing: Minimoog bass, Rhodes piano and just some
sparkles of a very old Roland synth that Lorenz had just bought, and which is now broken.
The second new jam „On the Nightshift“ is a fun stabby tune based on a spiraling chord progression. It loops
every three-and-a-half bars, just to make life harder for DJs. A real nice warm groover.
The remix for „Sandpaper“ is a true family affair! Sound Support is the all new project by Lars Dales better known
as 1/2 of Detroit Swindle and Lorenz himself. They’ve just released their debut EP on Prins Thomas’ “Internasjonal”
label in October this year, here they take Jamie’s vocal into a more dramatic and electronic territory touching
electro grounds. To close things out we also added an instrumental on the vinyl and radio mix on the digital
version of this new EP. Enjoy as much as we did putting this together for you!

FILM Recordings will release the debut LP from Denial of Service.
The album follows up EP's Sensou (2015), and more recently Contour & Shape (2017) - but marks the producer's most expansive release on the label thus far by some margin. Clocking in at 15 tracks, the lengthy opus draws from the same palette found on previous work - drum machine driven, heavily mutated Electro and IDM sit alongside low slung Techno cuts and arpeggiated EBM references. As ever, the production is stunning - crisp and plosive, as much a record for the club as it is a tempered headphone experience; whilst the mood channels that same dank, claustrophobic energy found on previous missives.
As a body of work, the LP displays the distinctive touch of a production veteran. The transformative shifts in structure on opener A Fine, New Mother Now belie a kind of boldness found less often across the contemporary electronic music landscape; and the drum programming on IDM-leaning explorations Autoimmune & Supercell bear the hallmarks of a perfectionist with time on his hands and in full control of his art. Space and the placement of sonic components plays a huge role in the artist's work and the 3 Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch displays this canny knack for generating both textural, wide angle soundscapes whilst maintaining that wrought-iron edge to drums and percussive elements - even more fervent, noisy compositions like Dr Manahattan manage to keep hold of this remarkable balance. It's impressive stuff, a fine and well worked meeting point between artistic vision and engineering prowess.
An elongated discussion, no doubt - but worth hearing every word. Each twist and bend, however sharp, remains carefully placed and beautifully recorded. Dryer works Slither & Junkie Foxtrot towards the LP finish offer a less introspective, more hard hitting angle to the work, and by the time the listener arrives at dual closer the Daisy Chain - Adults - they're ready for its heady catharsis.
The debut album from Denial of Service is a trip, and the line between club space and home listening environment is decidedly blurred - an emotive exploration of true psychedelic Electronica, delivered direct from the source.

Short Info:
Welcome to "Industrie & Zärtlichkeit", the raw, quirky yet emotional debut album from Moon! Although the Berlin-based duo is revered for dancefloor bangers such as "Ze power", Johannes Albert and Johannes Paluka (better known as Iron Curtis) have put much effort into making this album a true listening experience without sacrificing their roots in House Music. "Industrie & Zärtlichkeit" (which translates into "Industry & Tenderness") effortlessly achieves what is claimed in its title, namely a fusion of seemingly disparate elements: the rough and the smooth, dirty beats and soothing harmonies, bizarre sounds and comforting chords. The title track is a fine example of this perfectly-dosed blend with its detuned strings that glide over a crisp electro beat and an infectious melody which would make Kraftwerk proud. "Cafe Del Landwehrkanal" is a lighthearted and kinky gem while "Light Of Virtue" combines warm synth pads (Detroit is not far) with dusty drums and an acid bassline. "MFB Nights" and "Machine Rhythm Tomorrow" are also illustrations of the duo's undeniable savoir-faire, with the former celebrating garage classics thanks to its cheeky vocal sample and gorgeous rhodes chords while the latter plays out as a dedication to the early 90's, a time when people didn't care about genres and just dived in the novelty of electronic dance music.
But as we all know, there is a dark and secret side of the Moon, an aspect which is best expressed via the freaky organ chords of "Proto" and its detuned melody. Not to mention the excellent ambient pieces "Fjordig" or "The Bitter End" which showcase the duo's ability to venture into uncharted territory.?All in all, "Industrie & Zärtlichkeit" feels like drinking fresh orange juice gently sparkled with chilli... and it concludes flawlessly with two reworks that prolong the album's laidback yet assured vibe. First off is Black Spuma (Lauer of Tuff City Kids fame and Italian disco legend Fabrizio Mammarella) who rework the title track into a hands-in-the-air boogie monster that will definitely be a festival staple this summer. Finally, Lerosa emphasizes the deeper shade of the album's spectrum with an impressive new wave rework of "Appeal".

Richie Hawtin - 1. Richie Hawtin – Time Warps (16:38)
2
Richie Hawtin - 2. Richie Hawtin – Time Stands Still (16:38)
- First release on the new imprint of Richie Hawtin “From Our Minds”
- Recycled Vinyl, 100% recycled 250gsm cardboard with plant based inks.
Genre: Techno
Tracklist 12":
1. Richie Hawtin – Time Warps (16:38)
2. Richie Hawtin – Time Stands Still (16:38)
Short Info:
Richie Hawtin today releases ‘Time Warps’, his first dancefloor focused EP since ‘Minus Orange’ in 1999. This is
the first release on a new extension of Hawtin’s iconic Plus 8 label, From Our Minds (FOM1).
Few can match Richie Hawtin’s contribution to techno over the last three decades. A restless pioneer, the
Canadian artist’s importance as a producer, which includes music made under aliases like Plastikman and F.U.S.E,
is matched by his influence as a curator for iconic labels like M_nus, Plus 8 and Probe. Now, through a pair of
brand new, long-form club tracks, recorded in lockdown and boasting a combined length of over 30 minutes,
‘Time Warps’ channels the blurred, stretched perception of time that has been so characteristic of life in
2020.With constantly evolving, precision engineered loops delivered at a pulse-raising tempo, patient pacing and
a seamless yet unpredictable progression, the title track is a lesson in building the kind of mesmeric
dancefloor moments synonymous with the producer’s name. The alternative mix 'Time Stands Still’ takes a
radically different approach, with stretches of ominous ambience that manage to slowly dial up rather than
suppress the tension, deferring release until the perfect moment. A statement of intent on a new imprint, and a
long-awaited return.
Vital Sales Points:
- Recycled Vinyl, 100% recycled 250gsm cardboard with plant based inks.
- by the Deepgrooves Vinyl Pressing Plant in the Netherlands, ‘the greenest vinyl - pressing
plant on this planet’.
- Premiere by Pete Tong - Time Warps (BBC Radio 1)
- Premiere by Nemone - Time Stands Still in full (BBC Six Music)
- Video Exclusive – Time Warps – HATE on Youtube
- First release on the new imprint of Richie Hawtin “From Our Minds”

Red Axes - Addis
3
Red Axes - Musica Electronique feat. Insaac Students
2020 Repress
Tracklist:
A1 Abidjan feat. Yakomin
B1 Addis
B2 Musica Electronique feat. Insaac Students
Red Axes are very excited to present the first part of their new project called: "Trips", a multi media venture combining music, film and travelling across the globe in pursuit of extra ordinary collaborations.
Niv Arzi and Dori Sadovnik are seeking to discover new grounds and sounds, and to record local musicians, indigenous instruments and present workshops for youth music schools.
In March of 2017, the Israeli duo touched down in Africa for the first time, and set up camp in both Ethiopia and Ivory Coast, yielding In Africa, a triple header EP which features three slices of contemporary body music, with both East and West African musical motifs.
The project will always present a musical release, on vinyl and digital, that was created on the trip, accompanied with a documentary, showing the whole journey.
The Music;
A1 sees Red Axes and seven-piece Ivorian band, Yakomin, intertwine mechanical drum-machine passages with breathing, live percussion and recordings of instruments indigenous to the West African costal region. Amuse’s dusty, afrofunk-leaning synths pair excellently with the celebratory singing and rhythms by students from Abidjan’s Insaac Music School. Addis Sababa’s overdriven, analog electronics escort lesser-known wind and plucked instruments to the sunny finish line. in trademark Red Axes style.
The Film;
An accompanying documentary by Nimrod Von Keren, entitled TRIPS #1 - Africa, is soon to be unveiled, which showcases the magic moments behind this first-of-many, transcontinental, nonstandard collaborative experiences.
The Show;
On August 23rd, we will present a one of a kind performance with 3 of the amazing musicians we worked with in Ivory Coast, from the band Yakomin. The show will happen at "Sacred Music Festival" in Jerusalem, and this is the most amazing closure, the band and Red Axes could have dreamed of. The artists will prepare a special set up of tracks recorded together, and new organic interpretations for their biggest tracks.

B2 Hue (feat. Music Acadamy Students)
Release Info:
A year after Red Axes’s musical adventures took them through the sounds and scenes of Africa, they return with a second EP in the Trips series that finds them exploring the rich rhythms of Vietnam.
This project is a multi media venture combining music, film and travel in pursuit of extra ordinary collaborations. It finds the esteemed pair made up of Niv Arzi and Dori Sadovnik explore local cultures and traditions, link up with local musicians and record them playing indigenous instruments as well as presenting workshops for youth music schools. It comes after the Garzen Records bosses have established their unique mix of synths, guitars and genres as diverse as house, acid and leftfield experimentalism on vital labels from Phantasy to Dark Entries.
Opener ‘Ho Chi Minh’ is a brisling track with funky bass loops and the hustle and bustle of a market square infusing the organic house grooves. Local percussion, jazz keys and vocal coos all add to the richness of this most uplifting beat. ‘Hanoi’ is even more exotic thanks to the enchanting lead vocal, jungle bird calls and low slung bass, while ‘Phu Quoc’ gets more rave, with phased bass riding up and down there sale, an intoxicating lead line that sounds something like a didgeridoo and a manic synth that darts about the mix with disorienting effects. Closer ‘Hue’ is a blissful and almost Balearic beat with a shimmering lead melody line and layer upon layer of wind instruments, claps and hits that speak directly to your soul.
The accompanying film captures the essence of the trip, shows some of the recording sessions and local life in Vietnam, from beach parties to incense rituals via communal dances in public spaces, all of which inspired and infuse this record. As such it is a fantastically colourful and immersive EP that takes you to the other side of the world with real authenticity.

Corniche Band - B. Can’t You See Me
7“ Vinyl Only – Limited to 500 copies
Special remarks : Official Re-Issue of Hard to Find Tunisian Soul and Disco Nugget from 1980.
Tracklist
A. Dance
B. Can’t You See Me
Shortinfo
After a well received and enjoyed first joint on this freshly founded co-founded music label joining Kalakuta Soul
Records with the neighboring Bahlo Records Store, Kalakuta Soul Bahlo Records is more than happy to re-issue
a Disco gem that has been enjoyed in several occasions in the past years but seldom was easy to find.
On a working trip to Italy the salesmen Mohmed Fersi, Lotfi Ferjani, Smir Almia, Mohsen Matri and Nejib Toukabri
used their stopover in Italy for a recording session guided by the owner of Phono Sound Dischi Francesco
Ammaturo and that resulted in the release of „Dance“ and „Can’t You See Me“ in 1980.
Almost 40 years later, KABA’s half Guy Dermosessian got invited by the mighty Najib Ben Belgacem for a
memorable party he organized together with Tunis’ mighty „Downtown Vibes“ Family at Wax Bar followed by a live
stream for downtown based and freshly found record label „Eddisco“. Why we’re telling you that? Well, odds are it
turned out that one of Downtown Vibes’ Baba and Eddisco’s Mama was the amazing selector and DJ Hamdi
Toukabri, nephew of Nejib Toukabri, Corniche Band’s Keyboard maestro. And the rest is history as you can
imagine.
We are more than pleased to have had the chance to re-issue this amazing record we hereby would like to
dedicate to the shortly deceased Mohmed „Momo“ Fersi and his family. May his soul rest in peace. We would also
like to thank Hamdi Toukabri and Nejib Toukabri for making this happen and possible as well as our brother Najib
Ben Belgacem for bringing us all together in the first place.
Corniche Band comes in its original Cover design and with the same tracklist.
Stay tuned for an exclusive and lovely Edit of „Dance“ by Downtown Vibes’ super amore Hamdi Ryder hitting the
digital shelves upon release of this record.
Vital Sales Points:
- Very rare and hard to find 7inch single
- Mastering by Sean P.
- Limited to 500 copies

Pedro Vian - Flexible Girl (Da Silva Stranger Remix)
Fresh from Pedro Vian’s full LP release, here are club ready remixes of Flexible Girl and Darwin’s Nightmare. These are remixes made with the dancefloor in mind. The Flexible Girl remixes come from Chicago’s renowned sound sculptor Hieroglyphic Being who supplies a key led version, Barcelona based Cardopusher with an 80s bass driven revision and a submerged acid remix from Portuguese producer Da Silva. The remix of Darwin’s Nightmare is a trippy version by legendary Ukrainian producer Vakula.

A1 quadratschulz - I Don’t Believe (Move D Remix)
A2 quadratschulz - Duke Of Sealand (Future Beat Alliance Remix)
B1 quadratschulz - I Don‘t Believe (Sheep On Acid Remix by RVDS)
Info:
The original EP already was a feast for sore ears, but these remixes shine even brighter. A meeting of legends is happening on the vinyl version with interpretations by RVDS aka Richard von der Schulen-burg, IDM-veterans Future Beat Alliance and - a name which needs no introduction - Move D.
RVDS uses a quick 303-flavour paired with ritual flutes from Tibet in Melodica style and bleating Rave Sheeps, while Move D goes down a dreamy acid route, freely roaming through the widely reverberat-ing halls and floors of deep house. And Future Beat Alliance presents a deep, deep oomph of down-beat electronica for the later hours. (Superdefekt)

Tracklist 12” :

Short info:
Atlanta’s hot shot Stefan Ringer is the man for the last Quintessentials release in 2020. He has been building up his reputation with eclectic music on NDATL Muzik, People of Earth or his own FWM Entertainment label and he now makes „The difference“ for Quintessentials. Stefan Ringer offers up a loose and soulful take on MPC-made house full of deep tips and sci-fi tricks. „Otw“ and „Shakyabody“ are a well balanced mixture of smooth and raw with catchy rhythms, subtle vocals, warped synths and dirty claps. „Evolution“ is an 11 minutes long monster of a ambientish track - deep, dreamy and the perfect sound to reflect on a turbulant year. This is the difference! By Stefan Ringer!

Rift Vision 001 is producer and stay-at-home-DJ Lauren Ritter’s latest record. It is the debut
album from her own, newly-minted label, Rift Vision.
The album acts as vanguard of Rift Vision’s aesthetic: liminal, subconscious, and ultimately,
synesthetic. At the outset, it’s apparent that Ritter has traded in the “cool” of her minimal dance
music performances for deeply personal, dream-like compositions. Live instruments, spoken
word (Tenesha the Wordsmith), and melodies written on Ritter’s modest collection of
synthesizers are hallmarks of each bespokenly-titled track.
While it’s not hard to imagine hearing any of Rift Vision 001’s tracks on the dance floor, it is
hard to imagine why Ritter waited so long to release music like this.

Label Quote
We are celebrating five years of So Glad Records with this 12" featuring a heavy jazz influenced two tracker of Scharbatke on the A and Turquoise Colored French Tourists on the B with a fantastic Bias remix of Love is Only Moments Away. And Yep we put the Original mit harter Kick on it too!
Short Info:
A SIDE
Scharbatke is back again with this two-tracker on So Glad Records!
An imaginary journey from New York to Paris, based on one single session from Scharbatke with his new Studio Partner Jonathan Uhlig ended up in these piano - espresso - cafe mood kind of tracks. But with thick cigarette smoke and violent palpitations.
B SIDE
It all started with Love is only moments away... and of course no Idea how to run a label. Luckily a couple of crazy record sellers believed in our release. After a short time we were sold out...
Turquoise Colored French Tourists - Love Is Only Moments Away (Bias Remix)
Check this super duper funky remix of our first release ever.
Sure thing - make disco moves now, because ...
Immediately dancing is the only option that allows Bias with this remix!
Turquoise Colored French Tourists - Love Is Only Moments Away (Original mit harter Kick)
And yes there were lot of discussions about the kick drum.
We thought about making a remastered version with more gentle compression.
Well, but we didn't!
This is the Original mit harter Kick!

Info:
On his debut album producer and Squama co-founder Martin Brugger hovers through Ambient, (upbeat) Downbeat and unfulfilled build-ups.
Conceptualized as a blank soundtrack, the music was sent to fellow artists who shared their visual and verbal associations which became the source for the artwork and tracktitles, effectively making the album a collective effort.
Evident in all of his recent projects is Brugger's passion for working and thriving within closely set limits.
The only audio sources in the process of making the album were his record player and a Dave Smith Prophet 08 synthesizer. In an antithesis to most sample-based music, Brugger takes the more ephemeral moments of recorded music and uses pitching tools as a magnifying glass to dive deeper into the sound and bare layers that normally remain unheard.

Info
WRWTFWW Records is feeling total bliss as it announces the full official reissue of two major works from the great Somei Satoh gathered into one LP: the mystic and meditative Emerald Tablet (1978) and Echoes (1981), sourced from original masters and available on vinyl with liner notes by passio-nate Japanese music connoisseur/collector/critic/dj Masaaki Hara.
Fall into the ambient vastness, let yourself go…
Originally released by highly respected label ALM, these pivotal pieces of late 70s / early 80s Ja-panese experimental music majestically showcase Satoh’s intuitive approach to composition and mastery of creating infinite worlds of sound from very, very little.
Emerald Tablet, recorded at the fabled NHK Studio of Electronic Music in 1978, is a spellbinding take on musique concrète meets tape music relying solely on sound harmonics from tubular bell, cymbals, and 'kin' (Buddhist standing bell) overdubbed endlessly, voyaging into vertiginous sonic depths.
Echoes was composed for the Mist, Sound, and Light Festival, a 10-day event organized by the hot spring tourist association of Kawaji, Tochigi Prefecture, held on May 20-29, 1981. It was played in the Kawaji hot spring's Ojika river valley, with 8 gigantic loudspeakers set up on hills surrounding the stream and connected to an octuple channel-tape system - thanks to a combined length of cables exceeding one kilometer - while artificial fog rose from a ravine and laser beams shot up on the mountains. Cinematic and resonating, this breathtaking piece from Somei Satoh is a transcending sonic experience.
Emerald Tablet / Echoes is reissued in conjunction with Somei Satoh’s Mandala Trilogy + 1 double LP, also available on WRWTFWW Records.
Points of interests
- For fans of musique concrète, ambient, drone, tape music, environmental, minimalism, avant-garde, experimental, endless loops, Midori Takada, Hiroshi Yoshimura, Merzbow, ALM Records, Vanity Records, hot springs, valleys, ravines, gigantic lasers, mystical fog, infinity, and out of bo-dy experiences.

Info
WRWTFWW Records is profoundly enchanted to announce the full official reissue of Somei Satoh’s magnificent Avatamsaka Sutra inspired Mandala Trilogy with one additional never-released piece, sourced from original masters and available on double vinyl in heavy 350gsm sleeve with liner notes by passionate Japanese music connoisseur/collector/critic/dj Masaaki Hara.
Deep deep deep into the abyss…
The Mandala Trilogy blends Somei Satoh’s own slowed down Buddhist chant vocalization and early electronics to create a radiant and meditative atmosphere conveying serenity and timelessness. It includes three pieces recorded separately. "Mandala" was recorded at the NHK Studio of Electronic Music in 1982 and was included on the album Mandala/ Sumeru, released on Kojima Recordings’ ALM. "Mantra" was a NHK commissioned work, recorded at the same studio in 1986. "Tantra" was recorded at Victoria University of Wellington’s Lilburn Studios for electronic music and recording in 1990.
Included as a bonus is the 20-minute "Mai", a composition commissioned by harpist Ayako Shinoza-ki and recorded at the Kioi Hall in Tokyo on November 11th 2004. The piece was conducted by Tetsuji Honna and performed by the Kioi Sinfonietta Tokyo. Satoh says: "The harp is one of my favorite instruments. Also, by combining my affectionate percussion instrument, the chromatic gong and steel drum, with the harp’s most beautiful tone, I attempted to bring out a mystical sound." Alt-hough it is not an electronic music piece, the stunning composition elegantly complements the deep mystical world that Satoh expresses in his Mandala Trilogy.
Mandala Trilogy + 1 is reissued in conjunction with Somei Satoh’s Emerald Tablet / Echoes LP, also available on WRWTFWW Records.

Aris 1201/User 1201 – Musique à Risque (12"), which will be out 1st December. Following its sought after EP on its own label R2L in 2015, ARIS 1201 shares this new CAF? release with his other alias, USER 1201. While the A side is composed of three breaks tracks, the other side responds with two uptempo straight-to-the-point cuts. Overall, this sample infused 12" coming directly from Geneva will hopefully help us remember our best rave memories, while waiting for the club to reopen. In short: "ARIS 1201 & USER 1201 impose a risky EP for this smoking 8th release of CAF? – 1201 leaves no choice"

As we continue our ever long winded hiatus from the dancefloor, we are happy to welcome a new group of producers to the label in the form of 00:AM’s fourth various artists compilation. Certainly not the only way we expected to come together this year, but we’re grateful to be able to cultivate another 12” to share with the world.
Across the A Side, we are joined by three artists who we’ve had the pleasure of hosting and playing with in Montreal over the past couple years. Alfredo92 of the Axces crew in Copenhagen presents ‘Tente Hjul’ which gets the remix treatment from Mr. ACTION SHADOW himself, Fett Burger. The result in something distinctly mechanical but not without a human pulse and a tear jerking conclusion. Fantastic Man then puts his own psychedelic twist on the hardcore continuum, taking the beautiful palette of his recent LP on Mule Musiq to the brink of insanity with ‘On Tha Run’.
On the B side we find two new friends to 00:AM. We have a mandatory “minimum of 1 ESB tune gets played a night” policy round these parts, and so its truly a pleasure to release his ‘Sequential Dub’. Nothing less than a future classic, it’s dubby and understated, but a little quicker than you think. And finally, its a pleasure to introduce 2wo2imes, who delivers ‘Immune’ a deep and driving excursion into the wormhole.
It’s a weird world, we miss you all, but we’ll keep doing what we know best, releasing and enjoying the music that moves us - no matter the time or place.

Montreal duo Biochip return to Central Processing Unit with their new LP Crux Alley. The pair of Melissa Speirs and Julian Kochanowski turned plenty of heads when they first rocked up on the Sheffield label back in 2019 with debut drop Synthase. Synthase found Biochip twisting up Braindance, IDM and electro to their own ends, and Crux Alley is an album which hits similar sonic sweet-spots.
It's clear from the off that Biochip have brought their A-game here. Opener 'Mind Bubbles' has no time for pleasantries, dropping the listener straight into a nocturnal IDM-electro groove where bass dances nervily around shadowy synth pads. 'Mind Bubbles' is followed-up 'Polymorphic State', a tune whose laser-gun synth-bass plumbs even more energy into the pair's Rephlex-indebted sound. It's a hugely arresting way to begin an album, and the bold sonics here align Crux Alley with recent CPU releases like Bit Folder's Silicon Frontier and Annie Hall's Fum.
Other tracks on Crux Alley ease up on the frenzied feel of those opening numbers. Take 'Orbital Rendezvous', a cut which is still full of zippy melodies and keening keyboards but whose contemplative strut recalls the legendary electronic music duo referenced in the track's title. There's also a distinct cyberpunk flavour to this track, and this is brought out further on the vivid 'Dopamine City' and 'Tower 13' - it is at these points where Biochip most resemble the work of fellow CPU act B12.
Biochip record their music straight from the mixing desk, an approach that gives their tracks a spontaneous energy and one which sometimes leads Speirs and Kochanowski into novel sonic terrain. Crux Alley's 'Antagonist Part 6', for instance, is a spiritual successor to Synthase's 'Acid Billy' in how the overload of electronics almost pushes it into industrial-techno territory. Furthermore, while most of the LP draws on the Detroit electro continuum of Drexciya, DJ Stingray et al, 'Neutral Current' obliquely recalls the jazz-tinged house of Theo Parrish - although the wobbling synth chords and reverb-laced drums make 'Neutral Current' sound more like an extra-terrestrial reimagining of the Motor City legend's music.
Biochip continue to mark themselves out as one of contemporary electro's most exciting new acts with the Crux Alley LP.

Yuto Takei - Eclectic Matters
3

4
Yuto Takei - Mostica
Flippen Disks follows up their much acclaimed label-debut with an intriguing second release by Yuto Takei.
Throughout the Bells From The East EP, Yuto Takei’s first vinyl release, displays a wide array of sounds with a particular interest in rhythmic experiments and the negotiation of sonic space.
The Tokyo-based producer and DJ takes the listener onto a trip through deep spheres, percussive workouts, jammy compositions and electronic psychedelia, leaving the listener at times startled as to whether humans are manipulating machines here,
or vice-versa.
Having worked as an electronic music composer for video games such as Gran Turismo, this uncanny valley is known territory for the artist. It is, however, further explored on this four tracker, staying true to Flippen Disks paradigm of releasing club-oriented music, non-functional enough to not only be danced but also listened to.
While the title track Bells From The East is an 8 minute jam, in which the krauty psych attitude pairs up perfectly with the goofy lead melody, Eclectic Matters is an intense percussive workout, refined with a pinch of Digi-Dub.
On the flip, Karma Fuchi feels like a paraglide through a landscape of tree tops, curious winds passing and entrancing synths and percussion stabs leading the way. Mostica closes the EP beautifully and spaciously, allowing for deep dives into its detailed soundscape and waving the listener peacefully goodbye.

The Bug aka Kevin Martin, and producer/vocalist Dis Fig aka Felicia Chen, refer to their style on `In Blue' as "Tunnel Sound"; a foggy, melancholic meltdown of narco-dancehall-soul and dread-drenched, electronic dub. The 2018 prototype rhythms for this album were a continuation of Martin's ongoing quest for a futuristic dancehall mutation, but more sci-fi, aquatic and smokey than before. An obsessive search for the right sultry 2AM voice to ride his syncopated walls of sub, fuzzed out white noise and infinite echoes eventually led him to Dis Fig's torched soul-jazz glow, and 20 months of subsequent lab exchanges have resulted in the deeply sensual pulsations and lyrical long shadows of `In Blue' - an album that shares shades of King Midas Sound's wrecked lovers rock, alongside the bass immersion that The Bug has become infamously known for. Just as Martin took a stylistic swerve on `In Blue', so did Chen. Previously known for experimental noise onslaughts and emotional exorcisms, she opts here for threatening intimacy and hushed confessionals, concentrating on bittersweet vocals and seductive surprises that are all the more potent for their inferred narratives and delicate delivery. Mixed during lockdown, the sense of claustrofear, escapism and tension throughout is palpable. With the bewitching croon of Dis Fig directing the flow, carnality and violence merge under the turbulent, cinematic surface of an hypnotically addictive album.

Days' is like no other track Round has produced to date. For a start, it's the first song he has ever written without using samples. It's also the first time he's worked with a vocalist. Truth is that everything surrounding the track's conception is somehow exceptional. The melody came to Torsten as a sudden spark, which he discretely hummed into his phone while walking in Assistens Cemetery in Copenhagen. "I always feel an urge to make music when I feel emotional, and like many other people I remember the emotional periods in my life", he recalls when questioned about what inspired him of that particular time and space. He then asked danish singer Astrid Engeberg to record vocals and after some work with the laptop the song was born. So simple, so special. The three remixes manage to be faithful to the original's haunting oddness while offering radically different takes on it. The 12" comes with a sleeve designed by Arnau Pi. *Note that B-side track-listing is inverted in the sleeve due to a printing mistake.

Interchain's 'Plenum' remains as one of the most captivating HVNX releases. Composed of a series of sketches based on the duo's childhood memories of Perestroika in the USSR, the album epitomizes the idea behind the sub-label of releasing projects with a strong conceptual weight and a distinct aesthetic universe. In a way, it makes perfect sense that it occupies the central place of the catalog. Now comes its appendix in form of a remix package that brings together Kate NV, John Talabot, DJ Richard and Interstellar Funk. The four of them reinterpret 'Plenum' tracks from their personal angles while cultivating the same kind of heady energy that defines the album. Another psychedelic experience of industrial overtones that completes the Interchain vision and recaps many of the ideas HVNX has cultivated over the last four years. The 12 inch comes wrapped in a special sleeve designed by Arnau Pi.

Debut album from Israel Vines on Interdimensional Transmissions, a futuristic fusion of UK bass, post-jungle breakbeats and techno with the rhythmic flex of Detroit Electro. LA-based artist and DJ Israel Vines debut album, "And Now We Know Nothing," on IT, his first long player after a series of stellar 12"s on Eye Teeth. Across its nine tracks, Vines channels the spirit of undulating UK techno and bass -- think Bristol and London -- into a form and shape all his own, indebted to his American Midwestern roots. Rolling beats, uncommon rhythms, and club-floor sensibility paired with a polyrhythmic touch. 2xLP, in a unique picture sleeve, made in Detroit.

KOMPAKT welcomes back Copenhagen’s WhoMadeWho. Tomas Barfod’s penchant for electronic music poetically juxtaposed with Tomas Høffding and Jeppe Kjellberg’s respective backgrounds in rock and jazz, gives their music an electrifying combination of sounds, merging a variety of influences to produce a unique sonic fingerprint that is emotive, irresistible and immensely satisfying. Synchronicity is all about ‘meaningful coincidences’ – bringing interpretation to bear on connections that have no actual causal relationship. It’s a canny concept to pin onto Copenhagen trio WhoMadeWho’s latest album, which sees them return to Kompakt for the first time since 2012’s Brighter. This re-established connection helps us to understand the synchronicity at play, the way that the WhoMadeWho core ave built an album around collaboration with friends and peers, much as Kompakt is all about cross-connections and family. On Synchronicity, WhoMadeWho call on friends old and new – Michael Mayer, Echonomist, Adana Twins, Alex Boman, Robag Wruhme, Frank Wiedemann, Sainte Vie, Mano Le Tough, Marc Piñol, Rebolledo, and Perel is the cast list; WhoMadeWho direct the material, shaping it into one lovingly flowing gem of dance-pop glory.

Dominik Marz - Serve
Midnight Operators is back with its second release, which is also the first vinyl to be released on this imprint. Dominik Marz has his label debut with a solid four-tracker, delivering his signature blend of Avantgarde House and Indie Dance. A1 Dominik Marz blends melancholic arpeggios and gloomy pads with a rock-solid groove to what is the title track of his four-track vinyl debut on Midnight Operators. A2 A driving baseline and howling synths already are a match made in heaven, but Dominik Marz manages to take the track up a notch when he brings in distorted leads together slightly shuffled percussion. B1 Dominik Marz opens with straightforward percussive and melodic elements immediately catch the listeners' attention, only to surprise him when he intertwines these with another harmonic layer and triplet rhythmic elements. B2 This track comes with wonky pads and a haunty aura, slowly building up tension and eeriness. Dominik Marz manages to maintain this particularly blood-curdling atmosphere, despite the backbone of a catchy groove and steady baseline.

" ‘Entity EP’ encounters both a happy spirit and two fathomless spirits who dwell in limbo ready to tell the first tale. On side A Wendel Sield displays two original cuts who embody the label's direction.
‘Missing Chant’ is an uplifting rhythmic track full of liquid Rhodes and layered percussion followed by sonic fm synth line. Where as ‘Obeah Rhythm’ takes the EP to a deeper spectrum with evolving pads and hypnotic percussion. On the B side Trinidadian Deep took a deeper organic take on the main track making an infinite flow of percussion layers accompanied by ever evolving moog synth line.
Obia Records' name is inspired by the Obiaman - a spiritual healer from Surinamese and Caribbean culture, often good, sometimes evil. Obiaman resides in the jungle where he practices magical sessions to heal the mind, body and soul. Rhythm and chanting is his tool to guide those who seek a deeper meaning or healing through a journey of music and dance. "

Heavily in demand on 45, we are proud to present these deep soul, funk, modern soul crossover tracks from Sons Of The Kingdom. Artwork based on the 1980 7" (KOG-7) that now goes for big money. Licensed from Numero Group under limited license, so no repress on this one.
?'Sons of the Kingdom' were part of the 1970's 'Black Hebrew' movement in which black Americans traveled to Israel, primarily from Chicago. Numero Group released an excellent compilation focussing on key songs from this period called 'Soul Messages From Dimona', which was released in 2008.

Jimmy J & Cru-l-ts list of huge releases in the bygone halcyon days of rave is as long as your arm, but the four on this vinyl are the more sought after, the rarer of their output. Santa Maria was released on 20th Century Recordings, but this breakbeat version has hugely benefitted from a good remaster! The other three tracks have never been available on vinyl before now, and all were sourced from DAT and lovingly remastered to make this latest Remix Records release a guaranteed classic .

For it’s inaugural release, label boss Sepehr provides the first electrified soundtrack for Shaytoon records with “Crown Jewel”. Listeners should expect visions of monoliths, obsidian mountains underneath blood-red soaked skies and freaky soundwaves while listening. “Crown Jewel” EP should be listened to while hitchhiking across the country with only a bottle of wine in a knapsack, dreaming of dancing to the drum. Taymor Zadeh - No Title
Superlux Records continues its release schedule this December with a debut EP from Taymor Zadeh. The four-track Life Goes On EP includes three originals from the UK-based artist, as well as a special remix from One Records co-founder, Subb-an. Speaking on the production process behind the EP, Taymor describes how “ Life Goes On was made using a tb303, roland mc505, a 909 which I borrowed from a good friend, some vocal samples from old tape recordings and a load of imagination.”
The A Side gets underway with Bubbleworks , and Taymor’s “imagination” is plain to see. It’s a no-nonsense club-ready cut, with thick hats and an up-tempo lead bassline residing next to an array of bubble-sounding pops throughout. That same late-night feel continues into Life Goes On , as eerie vocals flitter between pulses of acid and punchy, whip-like drums. On the B Side, Gekula takes the lead. Fast-paced with clear minimal influences, we’re graced with eight minutes of dancefloor-geared delight as distorted voices reside atop a driving kick-hat backbone, before Subb-an’s remix continues in the same vein, taking us deep into 5 AM territory with glitchy synths and plenty of dark, low-slung percussion.
With an ethos of quality over quantity at his core, Taymor Zadeh has carved out a bespoke sound within the electronic music sphere. In recent times his releases have been welcomed by Stephane Genacia’s Highpath Records as well as Luca C’s See Double imprint, a testament to his keen ear for production. Berlin-based Subb-an is a leading figure in the UK minimal scene. As co-founder of One Records, 2020 has seen the label celebrate ten years of releases with a two-part vinyl sampler, including tracks from the likes of Anna Wall, Matthew Johnson and more besides.

A few Highlights from the sessionsLeron recorded in 1987-88 when he was fifteen or so. China Trax, featured on SS012 ,came from these sessions. These were hand made, meaning no sequencing was used for the keys on any of the songs featured, using cassette tape overdubs, a lost science. I Had Omar touch up the material from those cassettes for this release on vinyl.

When Lindstrom and Prins Thomas get together, expect the unexpected. The Norwegian production duo's third album III is also their first outing together in eleven years, since II from 2009 and as ever, Lindstrom and Prins Thomas have crafted their own unique sonic world between the two of them. This is expansive, luscious electronic music rich with texture and intricacy, patiently revealing every eccentricity while constantly pulling the listener in. Getting lost never sounded so good. Since the release of II, Lindstrom and Prins Thomas have remained more than busy with their respective solo careers, but work on III was taking place behind the scenes the whole time - slow and steady by sending files back and forth. "There's a different process with every album," Thomas explains. "With the first two albums, we had a door between separate rooms in the studio, so I could open my door and play him something. We also toured together a lot after the first album, and after that experience we realized that we work better together at a distance. We're doing our best work by not worrying too much about what the other one of us is doing." Eventually, the bulk of III came together over the last year, as Lindstrom and Prins Thomas teamed up to craft a lush and lovely work that recalls the hazy atmospherics of Air, the loose-fit jazz of Lonnie Liston Smith, and the genreresistant electronic music that both artists have made their name on over the course of their impressive careers. "Our partnership is very democratic "we never turn down each other's ideas. And if it goes wrong, we blame it on the other guy," Thomas says with a laugh. "The tracks that Lindstrom sent me this time were almost like standard house tracks. I already had an idea of what I wanted to do, so I forced those tracks into new shoes and dresses." Above all else, III is a testament to the adventurousness of Lindstrom and Prins Thomas when it comes to soundcraft. Both artists have established separate careers on bodies of work that feature infinite twists and turns, thrilling their audiences with the suggestion of where they've been and where they're about to go. Together, they've crafted what might be their most beguiling and inviting work yet, a jeweled box of electronic music ornately crafted but never losing the sense of playfulness that so many have come to love from them.

Goldie - "These guys are at the top of their game"
Break - "One of the best labels in dnb, very happy to be involved"
Ulterior Motive - "Big tunes"
Spectrasoul - "The quality is always super high"
While 2020 has been a pretty bleak year, the Utopia Music family has come back and this time it's a really meaningful release for the crew. The 25th instalment to their back catalogue features collaborations between the late Andy Skopes alongside Madcap. Here are a few words from the people responsible for making it happen:
Elliot (Madcap): "Recording with Andy was always a pleasure. We had worked on a few tracks in the past & my first vinyl release back in the early 2000's was a collaboration with him. We've developed a great friendship over the years & talked about getting back in the studio. 'Tap The Bottle' included in this EP was the first one we completed out of about 8 tracks. All recorded, finished & signed before his deeply sad passing. This 12" is one of the most emotional projects I've been involved in & of course I miss Andy a great deal. I'm pleased to finally have a release on Utopia & want to express my appreciation to Mako for believing in the music & letting us do our thing. Peace x"
Stephen (Mako): "This release means a lot to me in many ways. Elliot and Andy were originally penned to have the first release on Utopia so to get a 12" with them after 11 years is a dream for me. The music stays true to what both of them have held so dear for so long, this 90's vibe of 808 sub bass, breaks and sick samples. Andy is missed every day and I see releasing their music as a celebration of his life rather than a mourning of his death. I must send shout outs to Madcap for being an absolute badman, I have huge respect for you brother x"
Each track of the three picked for this release has all the soul, organic beats and vibes people have come to love Utopia for.

Rozzma - No Title
Today Rozzma announces the ‘Khatar Sayeb’ EP, the artist’s first release for XL Recordings. He kicks off the EP release with ‘Hout’, a track that displays Rozzma’s knack for combining tribal sounds and contemporary urban/street music with a sharp, idiosyncratic flair.
Rozzma is an Egyptian sound artist inspired by the era where sound preceded music – he finds inspiration in the similarities between the wilderness of prehistoric times and modern-day chaos. Having already performed his particular strain of music across the world and at festivals like Sonar and Unsound, Rozzma releases ‘Hout’ into the digital world with an animated video created by the artist’s close friend Mahmoud Shiha.
“Hout is a celebration of beating the odds,” says Rozzma. “It’s about a specific state of mind where one finds comfort in the most extreme and unfortunate circumstances to beat the odds that one could instead fear.”
The EP’s title ‘Khatar Sayeb’ means 'loose danger’. “The release challenges the idea that danger and fear are uncontrollable circumstances,” explains Rozzma. “We cannot fully diminish fear or danger. We can only condition ourselves to believe that safety exists during the absence of fear. It is however more dangerous to deny the uncertainty of danger itself. Danger is a very broad state with infinite circumstances. But it is also infinitely uncertain and mainly linked to luck. We do not control our luck; good or bad. And it is solely luck that dictates danger and safety. It is for that reason that one’s best chances may be to condition themselves to find comfort in danger. Loose danger to be specific.”
Rozzma’s world is one of status quos being challenged, whether that be the real world, the historical world or specifically in the world of music. Rozzma won’t let you settle with what you believe. Everything deserves to be challenged.
