A few Highlights from the sessionsLeron recorded in 1987-88 when he was fifteen or so. China Trax, featured on SS012 ,came from these sessions. These were hand made, meaning no sequencing was used for the keys on any of the songs featured, using cassette tape overdubs, a lost science. Apart from the obvious love for his musical talents, both as a producer and as a DJ, one of the reasons why we love Theo Parrish so damn much is his repressing policy. Unlike some of his peers, the man has no problem in repressing in-demand Sound Signatures from the past, and this time it's number 32 that receives a much-welcomed resurrection. The EP features singer Dummine Depores, first on the utterly hummable and soulful "Chemistry" track, and then on "Untitled One", a classically off-kilter Parrish number filled to the brim with sampling goodness and even a distant set of guitar riffs! Killers.

The final repress from Sound Signature HQ is an essential slab of late 90s Motor City deepness from Theo, presented once again for contemporary reassessment and sounding every bit as jaw dropping 14 years on. Dropping back in 1999, title cut "Overyohead" came to be regarded as a quintessential Theo Parrish track; strings incandescent with soul and lovingly off centre Rhodes riding those heavy drum arrangements towards a sweet piano infused crescendo. Face down, "Dance Of The Drunken Drums" is a prime example of Theo's own distinct brand of cavernous beatdown.

Clive From Accounts is finally back on Dirt Crew Recordings! After some excellent contributions and remixes for the highly acclaimed New York based “Razor-N-Tape” imprint, he graced us again with three new gems that show the great diversity in his productions. Since his first “Cooking the Books EP” in 2021 and the follow up “Pearls EP” in 2022 he has continued to build a strong following of fans, so we know for sure a lot of you have been waiting on new tracks by him.
The uplifting opener “That Rhythm” is a smooth deep house roller with chopped up dusty samples, inspired by the US and French masters but with a heavy UK sub bass added. Following up is the wonderfully crafted “Maceo”, a groovy instrumental jazz funk workout built around the genius of The JBs legends Fred Wesley and Maceo Parker.
Closing out this new EP is the acid laden and also title track “Clive by Night”, deep and lush house music that we love him for since his first release on our label, here he’s finding joy in deep evolving repetition, it’s an ode to the 303 and Xpander. Best played at night.
Get in these 3 new hitters from Clive now, we are looking forward to hear these played out in dark clubs and wide open fields this late summer and golden fall. Enjoy!

After his strong debut on our label last year Idan Hana is back with a very special follow up! This spring, close after his release on Berlin’s “Aterral” label , he celebrates a deeper and more open, eclectic side of his sound. This EP consists of a wonderful journey into jazzy, electronic spheres. The opener Moon Desert is a floating piano house track with ever evolving rhythms and melodies, showcasing the vast creativity happening in Idan’s LA studio during many late night shifts.
Placed as a short break is the cinematic and joyful “Galaxy One Two Three” interlude, sustaining the mood and setting the tone for the last track on the A side called “Far from the Sun”. This break beat joint is reminiscent of classic trip hop combined with atmospheric deep house grooves, organs and synthesizer flutes, topped with a distinct vocal sample.
On the flip there is a very special extended remix of one of Idan’s debut EP tracks “Lo Fi Hi” by none other than Chicago’s finest Ron Trent.
He reworked the original in his unique style and arrangement and elevates it to new heights by adding beautiful strings, guitar and keys.
We couldn’t have dreamt of a better remix for this track and are so honoured to have him featured on our label and this new Idan Hana EP.

The opener Moon Desert is a floating piano house track with ever evolving rhythms and melodies, showcasing the vast creativity happening in Idan’s LA studio during many late night shifts.
Placed as a short break is the cinematic and joyful “Galaxy One Two Three” interlude, sustaining the mood and setting the tone for the last track on the A side called “Far from the Sun”. This break beat joint is reminiscent of classic trip hop combined with atmospheric deep house grooves, organs and synthesizer flutes, topped with a distinct vocal sample.
On the flip there is a very special extended remix of one of Idan’s debut EP tracks “Lo Fi Hi” by none other than Chicago’s finest Ron Trent.
He reworked the original in his unique style and arrangement and elevates it to new heights by adding beautiful strings, guitar and keys.
We couldn’t have dreamt of a better remix for this track and are so honoured to have him featured on our label and this new Idan Hana EP.

Claudio Mate introduces from the Italian headquarters a new label from the Ottagono family. Influenced by his sister Vala, which she introduced Claudio in the early 90s, in club music and club culture. Ottagono Retro is a new fashion retro vintage outlet record label, inspired by Vala’s fashion, vintage clothing, and handmade accessories shop called Ottagono Retro`. You can visit the physical store on the first floor of Ottagono’s historic place in Nocera, close to the beauties of Naples, Sorrento, Pompei, Salerno, and the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy .
Hansol Oh is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumental electronic musician, currently living between South Korea and Germany, proudly representing Gyeonggi (State) Province as its promotional ambassador. She first captured the spotlight as the Korean representative in the 2017 MTV Aloft Star competition, marking the beginning of her journey as an electronic musician and also becoming a Korean Ableton testimonial under the name Uza. In the last few years, during the COVID-19 era, she earned international attention as one of the most interesting indie solo K- wave artists. She is renowned for its robust philosophy and a distinctive, hard- hitting sound rooted in synthesizers with a retro analogue feeling. More recently, she introduced to the music world her new figure as Tova Oh.
A side: S.O.S club extended, for the fans of k-wave music since the COVID-19 has been a true sensational song. Club extended mix is exclusive for this vinyl release, keeping the original sounds which are a crossover mixture between 80s new wave, electro-pop, techno, house music, playing like a club anthem from deep to dark rooms to Balearic dance floors.
