Short Info:
LA-based electronic duo OOFJ are elated to announce the release of their sophomore album Acute Feast. The brainchild of real-life couple Jenno Bjørnkjær and Katherine Mills-Rymer, the LA-based electronic duo
OOFJ met in New York City while Bjørnkjær was working on music for Lars Von Trier's Melancholia. This chance encounter developed into both a romantic and sonic chemistry that would eventually lead to the
couple collaborating on music that formed the foundations of OOFJ. After winning critics over in June with the sensual nostalgic aura of "Snakehips", OOFJ released "You're Always Good" on Noisey. The track starts with orchestral strings paired with thick, foreboding basslines and ends in a rhythmic explosion featuring the frenetic jungle-esque percussion played by Trentemøller's Jacob Hoyer and Mills-Rymer's darkly romantic vocals. Most recently, The Guardian premiered the video for "I Forgive You". The third single off their upcoming album Acute Feast is a sweeping, hauntingly lush track of duplicity. OOFJ created a song that feels like a restrained underwater heartbreak - a tale about perfect beings, aliens, being imperfect.
Equal parts glamorous and nightmarish, with a glittery seductive tone to it, the track hints at the otherworldly, almost hyper-real world that OOFJ don't just reside in, but have orchestrated. With the eagerly- anticipated sophomore LP Acute Feast, to be released on April 21, "Snakehips," 'You're Always Good" and " I Forgive You" serve as the perfect introduction to a band sure to be one of 2015's exciting new acts..

Vital Sales Points:
"It's a darkly romantic paean from a cinematic band who has provided yet another perfect soundtrack - this time, to the end of the world. "
- Noisey on "You're Always Good" - "Listening to this LA-based duo's music is like being winded by beauty. But it's a terrible kind of beauty… "
- The Guardian - "In short, listening to OOFJ is like having a really sexy nightmare that you won't want to wake up from. "
- i-D "...the eerie high-pitched lilt of singer Katherine Mills- Rymer [is] reminiscent of a more serene Beth Gibbons of Portishead. "
