Double LP with a selection of the tracks on the Resurrection CD last year...TIP! As last year's limited box set has been out of print for a while, we decided to press up a 2xlp version with 12 essential tracks from the original release that total 60 minutes. If you have missed the box set this is a great chance to own some of Virgo Four's essential Chicago house music! The tracks were selected from 100's of 4-track tapes that had been untouched and unreleased all these years due to local record business politics and disinterest. These demo recordings have been restored and mastered for release. Resurrection really shows the the rich, diverse and unique quality of Virgo Four, which leaves you wondering what impact they would have made on the (Chicago) house scene if they would have gotten released back in the day. Includes 'It's A Crime', which was also remixed by Caribou last year. More

Capracara and his studio pal, Scott Fraser, turn in a 100% replayed version of the much sort after ?Lites Go Out ? ? it was recorded in no other than Mr Andrew Weatherall?s studio on all vintage gear. On the flip, Jamal Moss steps into his Hieroglyphic Being guise and kicks out a brilliant reworking of ?Boing? - we can only imagine what he had running in order to make this ! Special stuff? More

It's A Crime' is taken from Virgo Four's recently released 'Resurrection' album, which is now available as a single with remixes from none other than Caribou and Hunee. Caribou reworks 'It's A Crime' into an eight minute epic dance floor bomb. His mix starts out with an intimate vocal groove, reminiscent of his 'Swim' album, but before long it explodes into an monstrous acid driven work out in Daphni style. Bam! Hunee goes for a more classic approach. A deep, swinging groove which takes us back to the peak days of Chez 'n' Damier. Pure gold! And then there is the original mix. A Chicago classic that never was, resurrected from the vaults of Virgo Four. Winning!
