Japanese veteran dj&producer “kza”(half of dj duo “force of nature”) have released his first solo album in 2009 on only cd.

kza is one of best dj in the modern disco/house scene in japan and also well known as vinyl digger. this album was made with his knowdlege from his big collection of vinyl.

we’re listening this album at studio mule and feeling we should release this album on vinyl.

finally we are going to release this epic modern disco album on 2lp.

kza is ready to release his second solo longplayer "dig & edit 2" - an album whose title tells much about the production of itself. like for the antecessor "dig & edit " a voluminous record collection and the ears of an unlimited music lover has helped kza to shape his unique sample based arrangements. anew he went through his vinyl library between midnight and morning searching for miscellaneous rhythms, harmonies, and melodies that he could turn into something fresh, new, and singular. as he is in love with loops and trained his ears by the work of sample grandmasters like pete rock, large professor, or marley marl he knows exactly where to cut and edit - a skill that makes his music never sound like a conventional edit production. with plenty of studio artifice, the help of his friend kuniyuki, and some super tight editional bass and rhythm programming that has been added to the original sources he produced tracks that gently balance between breezy disco fever, laidback balearian slowmo emotions, and highflying house attacks. each of them is full of sensual grooves and is charged with catchy folk, rock, disco, or library samples who's origin can be only deciphered by those who dig records as deep as kza does. of course, all listeners who aren't into record digging will have plenty of pleasure too. because it is not necessary to know which mysterios source kza used. one can easily be carried away by his wave of grooving arrangements without thinking about where they are originated. some of the tracks that are listening to german and french names like "computerstimme" or "vous dansez" evoke the feeling of a sweaty disco night, some feed hungry house floors with real deep fodder, and others are ready to function as a sunset soundtrack wherever the sun goes down. when kza produces them he had a dancing audience in mind that moves to his exquisite dj selection. that is why each track carries the groove to the melody and way back to deliver music that took some inspiration from the past in order to spread something that is made for the future. as kza would like to have the superpower of teleportation he invented it by himself

The second release of the new label "let's get lost" which is started by mule musiq and force of nature's Kza is Kza's re-edit of all time top favorite obscure disco stuff. Kza is a one of the most popular japanese dj&artist and well known as biggest records collecter. last year he released the first solo album "dig&edit" on mule musiq sister label endless flight. the album was supported from eric duncan from rub n tug and many more. The long awaited new album of force of nature is coming in the late this year. A side "Chick",probably intoroduction is not necessary about this chic's timeless disco classic. This Kza's version is dj use instrument dub version. B1 "I Wanna Rock", this Moroder track is also classic. B2 "Bender",the vocalist of Dschinghis Khan "Steve Bender"'s hit track on 1976. This Kza's version is playful instrument edit.

canadian beatdown master “eddie c” is back with fourth full length on endless flight! this new album is his unique mixture of laid back hip hop and lo-fi house sound which is inspired from late 80’s to early 90’s and much more darker than usual. the album kick off by old school hip hop tracks of “carbondate”,in the park” then new wave disco sound of “way uptown” it reminds us nyc post punk/new wave artist “konk”,dubby brazilian percus-sive disco track “batucada”,”berlina” is early 90’s nyc house like pal joy, probably most club friendly track “bad words” is wired new wavy vocal house madness and the album close with dreamy down tempo track “an der wedding” heavy kraut rock influenced stuff.

after the world applauded sascha funke for his latest album “lotos land”, he gave away some tunes to friends for remix duties. düsseldorf based tolouse low trax formed “twirl” into a foggy dark mpc-seducer for romantic nighthawks that love dancing. also australian boy dreems prepared a remix that grooves odd and uncommon. his percussive version of “im feiern und feuer” is a slow whirlwind, perfect to start and end a great dj night. with tuff city kids a duo formed a remix that is good for big room love affairs. their version of “purple hill” is a heartfelt melange between trance and house deepness that works on any dance floor. the final edit comes from glasgow‘s junto club, who transformed “comola”, a tune that they already produced originally with sascha funke, into a longing dark melodic synth stepper. four versions, four hits, four atmospheric dimensions beyond words. tune it loud!

hrow the hands into the air: kornél kovács, on the go dj and producer from stockholm, who runs with his mates axel boman and petter nordkvist the label studio barnhus, delivers his debut ep on endless flight. it’s a 10inch, its juicy and enlarged with super happy emotions. two sample house bangers that came to life only for one reason: to make people smile. the a-side tune “szamár” twists with twisted rhythms, samples and disco sounds. the b-side features a remix of the tune “order to the sense” by the new zealand/german duo snacks. it was originally featured on the “i'm starting to feel okay volume 7” compilation on mule musiq. kornél kovács transformed it into a melancholic house anthem full of with highlife guitar riffs and smiling horn sounds. high spirits music for all circumstances of a party night. if you look for music that gives you joy: kornél kovács brings it here in a pure human panache.

the italian duo boot & tax got already one lp and four eps under their wings who all deliver house and techno that stands out. so far their records been published by glasgow's finest optimo music and meant records from paris. now the two give their debut for endless flight and release three tunes that listen to the name "dimension". they all got funk, they all love mesmerising melodies. you can feel the power of disco coming in with heavy seducing strings. you can get lost in echoed drums, trippy sounds and some oriental tones. and you also can march to cosmic techno that loves krautrock without embracing it. a multi-coloured ep that spreads deepness in an uncommon sense. if moves the heart and soul profound, while staying edgy and catchy.

the third and final part of the jacob f. desvarieux anthology on endless flight brings two more hot productions of the fabled french zouk veteran with roots in guadeloupe. the tune “rifyx” is taken from desvarieux’s 1985 album “oh madiana” and delivers arresting jazz-funk and zouk-suspense enlarged with touching horns, synth-enthusiasm and longing female vocals. the second song comes from the paris based, west cameroon born singer tala, produced by desvarieux for tala’s album “mother africa” in 1982. also here desvarieux tuned the synthesizers odd and edgy to let them dance with an afro styled rhythm. above all tala sings sexy with a chorus of girls while percussions go crazy and the sounds of horns are longing for the sky. on top of everything endless flight asked again the japanese producer kuniyuik to edit a desvarieux track. he chose “rifyx” and tuned it into an epic soulful eight minutes long dream house anthem that funks all dancers crazy. hotter than hot stuff here!

eddie c drops a new ep, consisting of three new track and “auf der ufer” – a tune he did with his norwegian buddy rune lindbaek, that is dancing a cosmic dance and that was never released on vinyl before. the three other works are crossing different territories. the eight minutes meditation “pumapunku” marries balearic flair with otherworldly synth-spheres.
the also epic “inner piece” opens the house box with waving basslines, furious chord suspense and some unexpected breaks.
the final is marked by “lonely without you”. a funky blue tune that brings in some peoples potential unlimited vibes for endless autobahn rides.

if sascha funke is part of the club culture since the nineties: his musical memory and sensibility goes way back before the early techno and house eruptions. for his new works, that all had been produced in berlin during the year 2016, he removed the dogma of functionality and shifted into a riskier, more open terrain, that does not offer club sensations mainly. “i think i would not have made such a diverse album without the time with saschienne. before saschienne i mainly worked sample-based and produced exclusively at the computer. by working with julienne as saschienne i discovered my love for the instrument. "playing" with the different synths is for me the greatest progress and ultimately also the best pos-sible form of expression for my music.” he confesses. for his new tracks he used several kind of gear – from a korg arp odyssey to a dave smith prophet 8, moog voyager, solina string keyboard or a yamaha pacifica guitar. stylistically his new orchestra lead him to a mesmerizing meltdown of trance, techno, synth-wave, post-punk and ambient parti-cles. “the use of all the synths allows you to work more emotional” funke explains and points his finger to the emotional landscape of “lotos land” that delivers enchanted atmospheres, sensible stomping grounds, funky twisted spheres and tragically hip psychedelic zones. at large there is an unmistakable strong uk influence. be it new wave, pop or early dance and techno stuff. sometimes the bass rolls like in a the cure song, then dreamy synth sceneries arise to stick in the mind.
