Return EP for the danish producer Jesper Ryom. Three track of pure deep-house bliss. As a recall, the producer received high appraisal from the likes of Marek Hemman, Kink, La Fleur and got support on XLR8R, Resident Advisor and BBC 1 for his previous work that gathered millions of streams online.

From when he got his first multitrack recorder as a teenager, Jesper Ryom has been conveying moods through all kinds of genres of music. Over time, this has led the Berlin-based Dane to create a swirl of evocative, yet danceable atmospheres, drawing inspiration from hip hop and weaving in samples from an eclectic music collection. His sound is as emotive and climactic as the post rock that defined much of his musical upbringing, and while his music has been played for the dance floors around the world, his own private persona will rarely be found in clubs. It was 2010 that marked the beginning of a steadily growing catalogue of intricately assembled house tracks, conveying both buoyant dreams and melancholic moods. A homely perfectionist at heart, Jesper has made the rare choice of saying no to most gigs to focus instead on tracking down whichever sample or coincidental noise that can express the current state he is in - for the benefit of himself and his dedicated following.

La Fleur's certified hit, the Flowerhead EP, launched her Power Plant Records imprint into the stratosphere in 2010. Following the Flowerhead EP would be no easy task, but it's one that young Danish talent Jesper Ryom takes in his stride. The second chapter of Power Plant Records' story exists within Jesper Ryom's refined musical universe, where samples and live guitar merge and mesh for a kaleidescopic whole that's greater than its parts. As Ryom drifts in a dream-dance state, he delves further into sonic experimentation, but is ever mindful of the dancer and the DJ. Nature Boy EP begins with the restless liquid ripples and refracted rays of "Godt Begyndt" which translates as 'good beginning' in Danish. A skippy, syncopated house tempo provides the grounding and the momentum, as the shimmering melody pulses and turns in a circular motion in the mid-distance. A softly distorted vocal refrain of "Someday.. you and I..." floats by, while gentle reverb tangents and rhythmic guitar strums add to the track's bittersweet reverie. La Fleur steps up for the remix of "Godt Begyndt" and deftly transitions it from a midsummer haze to a sunset house groove. With a tight 4/4 beat and a rolling piano loop from the outset, La Fleur's intention to make you dance is clear. With the introduction of a heavy vibrato bassline, the aim can't help but be fulfilled. WELL DONE!

La Fleur releases her new EP 'Right Behind You' via her own Power Plant imprint. The EP includes two tracks, 'Circadian', and the title track 'Right Behind You' - both showcasing La Fleur's in-demand brand of groovy, vocal techno.
The EP release marks the end of La Fleur's busiest summer on record. A residency at Hot Since 82's Labyrinth parties at Pacha in Ibiza, touring Brazil with the Watergate crew and remixing their new single from the mighty Sasha have lead to it being a season to remember. The title track, 'Right Behind You', features vocals from Austrian vocalist/songwriter Lula, who is best known for her distinctive work on Danny Tenaglia club classics like La Fleur favourite 'Read My Lips'.
La Fleur said: "Lula's voice is special and distinct. Hearing her unique way of vocalising on favourite tracks of mine from back in the day (like Tenaglia's '98 single 'Read My Lips' for example), I just felt I had to reach out to her. Creating 'Right Behind You' was a labour of love and we spent months working on it until we finally got to the definitive version."
The Swede's second original comes in the form of 'Circadian'. A track underpinned by its bulbous single note bass kick and cinematic melody.
Completing this Power Plant Promo Package are remixes of the 'Right Behind You' from Francesca Lombardo and rising star Justin Massei. Both are set for an October release on Vinyl and Digital.

With a stellar year in the life of La Fleur coming to an end, the Berlin-based artist is set to close 2013 on a high, with the return to her own beloved imprint Power Plant. After landing a coveted residency with acclaimed Berlin club Watergate, and producing a chart-topping EP as her debut for the club's inhouse label, the Feline EP brings La Fleur back to her roots: unique house music that leaves an imprint on you long after you hear it. A-side track "Kattflickan" establishes the theme, drawing on the Swedish term for 'cat girl' as its inspiration. It cuts a sleek figure, and is a slower, groovier, quirkier iteration of La Fleur's signature house sound. "Kattflickan" revealing more detail with every change, and providing a colorful journey through the spectrum of La Fleur's sound. On the B-side, the chiming bell melody of "Feline" carries it from the outset, and is the genesis of its mysterious and ethereal mood. Following her Flowerhead single which was backed with a hugely successful Spencer Parker remix, Sweden´s La Fleur returns to her own fledgling Power Plant imprint for it´s third release, Eavesdropper. Strong, melodic and timeless house music paired with stunning artwork, Power Plant´s remit is a simple but attractive one. The beautiful images of Olaf Hajek, Wilfried Pordiech Sätty and now Hans Arnold provide a striking outer to a core that, in just two releases, is already essential for many a house fan. Former dancer Sanna La Fleur, label boss and the artist in question for the label´s third 12", employs a variety of sunny major key chords and whispering female vocals on title cut ?Eavesdropper? to great ends. Spacious and gentle yet undeniably propulsive ?Eavesdropper? is an infectious skipping groove with a strikingly beautiful feel underpinned with nagging bass. The flipside cut Tjuvlyssnerskan takes its name from the Swedish feminine noun for Eavesdropper yet reverses the gender of the vocals of its counterpart. Added dusty loops, poignant pianos and another weighty bass create a piece of house that much more than the sum of its parts.
The ?Eavesdropper? is another triumph for the Power Plant label and La Fleur while also being a shining example of how to release records with love and care.
