This is the new release by berlin based techno duo I/Y. the music is part of an interdisciplinary project between the international artist collective exc and I/Y which included an exhibition in a downstairs parking lot, the publication of the artistbook "pxrkxnglxt 2" together with the novel "raum in einem raum" by exc-co-founder eric keil and a short unmoved silent film for which I/Y did the soundtrack. This soundtrack now comes as an exclusive vinyl release along with an inlay artist edition, showing the dark scenery where the" film" takes action... The White House is announcing the ban of I/Y008, the first official ban concerning an alternate techno record in the history of the United States. “I am honored to see my husband protecting our children and serving my country, and I look forward to banning more music on behalf of the American people over the coming years,” The First Lady said.
“From climate change to aliens to personal investments and to music, we are keeping our promises in methodically overturning regulations and sounds adopted by reptilians.”
The impeachment of alternate artists is expected to gain massive support from the Country scene for up to two years, 542 people would be directly related to the issue.
• I/Y008 consists of 4 tracks by the I/Y duo, and reportedly destroyed the ears and minds of our White House Press Secretary and President.

ASC made his first appearance last year on Fracture, remixing the newcomer Ombossa. The San Diego based electronic music producer comes back on the French label in 2017 with two fresh tracks that show him going further into his exploration of techno soundscapes. The Canadian duo Orphx doesn’t need to be presented. They have been responsible for some of the most interesting techno records in recent years. In their hands, Dissolve becomes a frantic and out-there trip of almost 10 minutes.

Since its beginnings, Fracture has followed the formula of releasing upcoming and interesting newcomers, people they believe in, to get them remixed by more established artists. This time it’s none other than UK techno legend James Ruskin stepping up to the task, for a track carefully
crafted by Berlin based artist Leiras. Leiras comes from Madrid, and has in the last few years since his move to Germany released a handful of EPs, mostly on his own Ownlife imprint. Abyssal is a trippy and atmospheric cut, the kind of deep techno that can transport you into a second state if dropped at the right time. On remix duty, Ruskin makes it weirder and grittier, slowly and skillfully building the tension from atmospheric to potential peak time material.

Based in Montreal, Ombossa appeared on DVS1's Mistress Recordings in 2015. The young and talented French producer is set to have his first EP released in september on Fracture, with a remix from Silent Season's ASC. The Blinding Flare of 61 Virgins is an elegant techno trip, an ode that goes deeper and deeper during 8 blissful minutes where you lose your own sense of time. On remix duty, ASC skillfully makes it weirder, for a first EP that will please the more daring selectors out there.

This third release on Fracture features UVB, the alias of talented French artist Sébastien Michel, who released two acclaimed 12” in 2014 on Mord. The past years have seen Sébastien exploring different directions in electronic music, but it is on his techno project that he has decided to focus his attention in 2014. ?'Meteorit' and 'Dwarf' see him managing to develop a raw and functional sound which combines energetic tones and intricate rhythms.
