Leiras concludes the Turquoise Tundra concept with a second EP that thoroughly represents the characteristic sound from the author and expand it to another horizonts. Once more, we find different tempos and intensities in another powerful combination of tracks that will see the light in early 2020. On the A side we can find a slower synthwork with multiple bass layers named Lifelink and also, Ways of Communication , a complex rhythm composition with effected voices and an intricate sound design. On the flip side, Unexplored gives a classier vision to the release, with continual and endless synth sequences flowing over hard stepping drum patterns. Everything has an end, and Turquoise Camo is the perfect epilogue for this project, pushing forward the expectre of sound, the complexity on the rhythms and a significant arrange progression. Inspired by the resounding contrast, the one that maintains the balance in between two concepts. It doesn't matter how distant they are.
Leiras delivers a new excursion on this new 12", exploring the wasteland and the hostile terrains, but somehow luminous, sometimes even pleasing. Under this apparent antithesis, the first part of "Turquoise Tundra" starts in a tipping point.
"Body Language" offers a mixture of the layers with arid and resonant sounds combined, in which atmospheres have also an important role, melting everything in a solid result.
Direct, dry, evolutive. Convincingly basic. This is "Atalaya". A tool necessary in case you get lost in the middle of nowhere. Pure muscle definition.
Continuing in the other side of the record, we discover one of the most visceral and raw exercises from Ownlife's boss. In "The Rebis", the bubbly sound of the bass, and the driving kick, make this track a defensive wall, like a scar on the terrain. A place where you can take refuge when it's necessary.
In the other extreme, the pure turquoise tone gives way to the breaks and more complex structures. "North State" resumes the sings of identity that define this artist. A narrative touch that builds the bridge to the second and last part of this project... TO BE CONTINUED. More

ASC made his first appearance last year on Fracture, remixing the newcomer Ombossa. The San Diego based electronic music producer comes back on the French label in 2017 with two fresh tracks that show him going further into his exploration of techno soundscapes. The Canadian duo Orphx doesn’t need to be presented. They have been responsible for some of the most interesting techno records in recent years. In their hands, Dissolve becomes a frantic and out-there trip of almost 10 minutes.

Based in Montreal, Ombossa appeared on DVS1's Mistress Recordings in 2015. The young and talented French producer is set to have his first EP released in september on Fracture, with a remix from Silent Season's ASC. The Blinding Flare of 61 Virgins is an elegant techno trip, an ode that goes deeper and deeper during 8 blissful minutes where you lose your own sense of time. On remix duty, ASC skillfully makes it weirder, for a first EP that will please the more daring selectors out there.

This third release on Fracture features UVB, the alias of talented French artist Sébastien Michel, who released two acclaimed 12” in 2014 on Mord. The past years have seen Sébastien exploring different directions in electronic music, but it is on his techno project that he has decided to focus his attention in 2014. ?'Meteorit' and 'Dwarf' see him managing to develop a raw and functional sound which combines energetic tones and intricate rhythms. This is why we chose to work with choosing Matt Colton from Alchemy Mastering, and also why we decided to put only one track per side of a 180 gr. vinyl. This first release features two artists we love : I/Y and Tripeo. For their first real incursion on another label, I/Y continues its exploration of the abyss of modern music. 0000.030 is a deep plunge into a paranoid atmosphere led by merciless beats. Tripeo takes it into a jacking excursion accompanied by noisy and acidic elements. While maintaining the original's ruthless vibe, this remix offers a different aggression and gives the track a groovy psychedelic feel.
