2020 Midnight Visions return with another superb ep of fresh club music. The third release on the new offshoot label comes from Holland's Presk whose previously released on Ramp offshoot Fourth Wave and on Doc Daneeka's Ten Thousand Yen label. This EP follows where those left off mixing techno, skippy garage drums, and classic house styles with a close eye on the rave. The two a-side tracks 'Nobody Makes Me Do' and 'Akola' are cut from the same cloth, channeling classic electro and jackin house styles with choice vocals samples, but with an undeniable 2012 twist and are both aimed squarely at the dance. Cerano City on the flip takes a slightly different route to the dancefloor, with its hypnotic Detroit pads and definite C2 influence, in the right hands at the right time this will cause some serious damage. Following a 12” for Doc Daneeka’s TTY, Presk returns home to deliver his second 12” for Fourth Wave. Delivering his most progressive and unique work yet, Presk’s latest injects some fun into his synth-heavy sound, while deftly swerving the moodiness of his future-techno contemporaries.
* ‘Hesitate’/’Kook’ marks the first release in 2012 for what promises to be another ridiculous year for new label Fourth Wave – an upcoming 12” from newcomer Felix Lenferink, and man of the moment Gerry Red’s debut album are all set for release over the next few months.

We first came across Presk in Eindhoven last year playing support for Doc Daneeka. He played a set of straight original material and tore the place down. ?Since then we've heckled and begged until he finally signed his life away to us, and now that we own his soul we plan on sharing it with you. This E.P. comes correct for 2011 - with Presk riding off the back off a cheeky Tyler remix that is messing up dancefloors and topping charts all over the shop. Sharp edged rhythmic dance music with a distinctly techno lean - we really love the tunes and are super excited about this release, hope you're feeling them too. We are extremely pleased to announce the return of one of our favourite Welsh producers back to Yen. Chesus (pronounced chay -zuss) is C from C.R.S.T., half of Darkhouse Fam and the one and only Metabeats fresh from his recent hip hop smash "Hookers" with Action Bronson. So apart from having a finger in just about every conceivable pie, Chesus is going back to his house roots on this solo project, which features the local talents, also making a fair name for themselves,The Organ Grinder and Didz. This is an E.P. of classic house smashers, harking back to the house heyday of the 90's but with a production twist from 2012. Throw ya hands up!

"I was introduced to Abi at the end of 2010 through a mutual friend - Johnny Dub who co- runs the excellent Manchester night hoya:hoya. Instantly I was blown away by her voice. I sent her some stuff that was on a slightly different tip to my usual beats. She dug it, sent it back, I worked on it some more - Tobyjug was born and i'm glad to say it has been the start of a long working relationship and friendship.
