In recent years Spanish producer Baldo has built a great style and following in the modern house scene, catching the attention of Andrade who has recruited him for this fantastic new five tracker EP called "Far Away". With a well developed sensitivity, Baldo has featured a sensual combination of house and susceptible feelings to create an outstanding and very special cocktail. Three crisply produced tracks likely to spoil the senses with delicate melodies and bass-driven sound. The music speaks for itself. Once again we welcome our friends on the remixes. Hold Youth main man, Le Loup, the protagonist of the Paris scene and known for his releases for Wolf+Lamb, Eklo and Fragil, re-creates a dubby version of In The Crowd, setting an impressive atmosphere and deeper experience. Next up on Good Ratio Music is Baldo, an artist who spent the past few months working in the back of this label getting prepared to release the third chapter in his own imprint. Spies & Lies is the name of his work which follows some brilliant remixes and tracks he did lately in labels like Stranjjur and Elevation Recordings.
As the story goes on after the great result of the Tom Ellis release, we wanted to give a different dimension to the label to bring it back into a more classical sound. The magic starts with Might Be, a fresh cut out of house music with a funky bassline and great pads full of liveliness. Followed by Dare to Feel, a track based on a deeper and melancholic side, turning your brain with some acid stuff in the end. The last one is Juggling, which will finish this awesome work with some analogic feeling, adding more acid melodies on top and together make it sound as a beautiful symphony for the senses. As different as they are, all the tracks make it an awesome project, directly out of the mind of this Spanish artist.
Together with this work we present the debut of the Irish producer John Daly on Good Ratio Music. Daly, who will release very soon his new LP on Drumpoet Community, is getting bigger and bigger in this scene. He has made a remix of the track Might Be combining all the elements and approaching them into his sounds. A great bass line and a groovy riffs will make this track a great option to play it loud this summer.
Released in 12" and distributed by Wordandsound, it will be also avalaible in all the best digital stores.

Subwax Excurssions, the trippiest arm of the multifaceted label family pivoting around Barcelona's via-Sweden most active electronic agitators, has a fifth record on the pipeline. After some brilliant efforts -including the comeback of long forgotten Jordan Fields and a brand new album from Rush Hour's new totem Orlando Voorn- the label presents a split record meant to highlight the work of two middle class workers of the club scene whose works are screaming for some recognition.
On the first side, Chronophone teams up with Detroit's vocalist Mike Anderson on a Motor City House affair called 'In The Sunset'. The original track goes straightforward to the dance floor employing pounding rhythms and a catchy bleepy bass that serve as the perfect grounding for Anderson's dark vocal intonations. On the other side, Barcelona's JMII -of the duo Aster- show us what he's learnt after signing releases on 100% Silk, Hivern Discs and Mathematics and hits us with 'Leo', an uplifting mix of off-kilter Juno sounds, 707 drum hits and vocal samples extracted from a well known Soul song sampled two decades ago by Rave enthusiasts Altern-8.
Germany's House veteran Werner Niedermeier rounds up the release with an atmospheric remix of 'In The Sunset', adding some dramatic strings and round pads and taking Chronophone's original into deeper territory.
