While Channel X took us on a full-length musical journey through their very own 'Wonderland' in September, this follow-up remix package guarantees to drag you even deeper into the metaphorical rabbit hole thanks to mind-altering reworks by Doctor Dru, Robosonic, Nico Stojan and our competition winners, Juicy Jay & SH. Officially the king of synths, Doctor Dru introduces us to his interpretation of 'My 3 Wishes' with drawn-out melodies straight from outer space until the vocal arrangement drops into a bass-laden groove. Catering for those big dance floor moments, we are then being treated to a majestic drop that will send you sideways. Stunning! Next, Robosonic tackle 'Slowly Falling Leaf', turning the summery vocal house jam featuring Natalie into a new beast entirely by the inclusion of fat horns, shuffling rhythmic patterns and a lot of taste. On the flip-side, Upon You's Nico Stojan presents a mix of 'My 3 Wishes' that will reveal its full magic in an after-hour setting as a subtle groove, wry clicks and druggy synths mingle with well chosen parts of the original's vocal. Lastly, Juicy Jay & SH's rework of 'Slowly Falling Leaf' takes us on a tropical cruise by striking the perfect balance between nu disco and modern trance, causing a serious endorphin rush in the process.

'But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked. 'Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: 'we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.' 'How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice. 'You must be,' said the Cat, 'or you wouldn't have come here.' For their second full-length, the infamous Berliners Channel X invite you to take a mad trip through their very own Wonderland. Inspired by Lewis Carroll's classic psychedelic tale of Alice's mind-altering experience in a colourful parallel universe, Miko and André Quasar offer a deeply euphoric peek down the musical rabbit hole. Thus, party-approved tech house sounds meet tight deep house, dreamy disco numbers and funky downbeat passages, all crafted with a trained ear for detail, but, more importantly, a deep love for the dance-floor. The album's atmospheric intro, aptly titled 'Arriving', immediately draws us in thanks to swelling strings, cellos and, of course, a ticking clock. 'Are you ready for an adventure?!', it seems to be asking. 'Arriving' quickly makes way for 'Feelings', where a straight gut-hitting kick and disorienting wonky pads symbolise a free fall down the rabbit hole, until a short tick of the clock opens the door to a bouncy tech house groove and far-out guitar licks. As sirens usher in stretched-out female vocal samples and deep chords, we've become fully immersed in Wonderland. Things stay upbeat on 'Headless' due to shuffling percussion, an at times downright funky bass-line and jazz-infested piano volleys. In other words: the Queen of Hearts is urging us to get down for a boogie until our heads spin off. In Channel X's Wonderland, the intriguing 'Cheshire Cat' is given the space of an interlude characterised by heavy downbeat percussion and hip-hop sampling. We are granted a little breather, but Miko and André are, nonetheless, keeping the devilishly mad feel intact. Speaking of mad: 'Maniac' does exactly what it says on the tin as agitated percussive elements rub against Alice's unsettled mumbles inside the shadows, while a classic deep house motif unfolds over ground. Next, the Queen of Heart's army of cards is approaching fast as the reduced and skeletal 'Evil' builds heavy sub frequencies into a forceful groove, underpinned by sharp hi hats and a driving snare. During this peaktime bomb at Wonderland's core, Alice, it seems, is trapped on all sides. On 'Scope' our heroine is then being chased through her dream world's most bizarre corners, where strange creatures lurk in the dark, prying with florescent eyes as Channel X create a tripped-out soundscape of hypnotic synths, jack saw bass and delayed vocal stutters. Things take a turn as an enchanting birdsong introduces 'Slowly Falling Leaf': it is daylight and we are being treated to a sunny house groover, which sparkles with Natalie's ecstasizing siren vocals, contemplatively stating 'That's what you are / That's who you are' - a true turning point in Alice's narrative. 'Elysium', which features good friend Niko Schwind, continues the bright vibes as rainbow-coloured lasers aim straight for the mirror ball and Alice finds herself in Discoland, throwing shapes to a slower BPM. We then enter the chill-out zone on the next interlude, 'Teatime'. As jazzy samples shuffle over a mellow, underwater beat, one can literally smell the thick cloud of herbal smoke emerging from the caterpillar's hookah pipe. With 'Cantrip', Channel X ring in the narrative's final chapters with a mysterious dance-floor highlight. The enormously deep and immersive bass-line embraces Alice and us for a progressive techno ride, where scattered bleeps and otherworldly melodies work their magic underneath a slowly unfolding, harmonious vocal courtesy of Björn Störig. Standing in contrast with the brooding beauty of 'Cantrip', the upbeat 'Delight' is like a final party to see Alice off. Melodious, yet driving, the track is an extroverted treat that is deeply infectious due to its vocal hooks and disco edge. The same can be said of the mellower 'Leaving', the grand finale that releases us and our heroine back into the real world. But not before its sweet, tropical sounds gently kiss us good-bye, knowing all too well how hard it is to leave behind Channel X's beautiful Wonderland. The good thing…? We can always jump down that rabbit hole again and join the party.

Aah, how we have missed them! The fine young gentlemen that are Channel X, two of Stil vor Talent's most active producers of meticulously crafted and deeply energetic tech-house smash hits. And just in time for the open-air season they now come back with two very convincing pieces of dancefloor art. First up is 'Little Symphony', an epic space opera that takes it cues from early 90s techno and mixes it up with post-modern grooves and beats. The wide and open spaces are filled with some very hymnal string patterns that are given a final treatment with a reverbed and high-pitched vocal sample. Contrast that with the rather jittery beat and a subbass as deep as the frequencies will go and you got yourself a substantially clear bit of techno that is best imagined when it is dark and only some beams of air tell you where you are. Channel X do not produce, they direct and all of the sounds are their actors! On the flip things get more light-hearted and set for the daylight hours as well. 'Steamboat Willie' is a heavily sample-orientated swinging piece of jack. The rhythm guitar lead the way on top of a clap-based loop that sets the basis for some very jazzy interpretations along the way. Clarinets, trumpets, percussions, brass, effects and even some talking vocal samples are all allowed to join in this hedonistic big band that is at play. This is one for the sunshine, this is one for the smiles on the faces, this is one to feel instantly good about yourself and everything around you. Two very different tracks on this EP, but both equally stand out for themselves.

"Salome" is not only the A1 track of the new Upon You single from Channel X, it`s also the title of a famous oriental Foxtrott composed in 1920 by Robert Stolz. There`s not much Foxtrott left from Channel X in the year 2011, therefore the modern artists are squinting into the orient to get the inspiration for the occidental club-madness. Riding on the "Orient Express" they let the well of inspiration pass by the A2 window for this proper vinyl. During their journey, the colleagues Audio Jack rub on "Salome" their patented dance-paste, which momentarily waxes almost every well known dancefloor. And finally because travelling makes contemplative, Channel X is musing about the sense of being on the beatport exclusive digital-bonus.

After the release of their debut album earlier this year, the two Berlin-based producers André and Mirko also known as Channel X get their first full-on remix package on Stil vor Talent. First up is "Freak Show", the original track being full of Berlin 1920ies magic circus craziness reminiscence. Now the grand seigneurs of minimal tech house take the original and create an equally thumping and mad array of drunk trumpets and dizzy beats, and somewhere along the track there is a clumsy bassline that's falling all over the place. Adding some stabs on the break and turning the bassline from clumsy to very chunky, this track is sure to set the crowd right for a heavenly peak-time attack. Pure dancefloor material. On the flip it's label boss Oliver Koletzki himself who puts his magic house fingers onto the super sweet "Snug Descent" that features Jake the Rapper hypnotically talking about the comfort zone that is the couch. Oliver turns the track into a Caribean house anthem that is not only super groovy, but also so deeply delicate as house music should be. Add some wonderful E-Piano magic and some percussions on the breakdown and this track will surely put a smile on everyone's face. Two great remixes in this package!

CHANNEL X's music is so deeply inspired by and set in the club realm that this is as authentic and real as club music gets in early 2010. Finally Channel X are back on Stil vor Talent with three fresh tracks for the winter season. It's time to get close together on the dancefloor to these crisp techno beats that the two guys behind Channel X deliver. Their new EP "Groovebox" is filled with some class A material for the raunchy dancefloor. First up there is "Into the Club". This track is typical for Channel X: it will blow off the roof in the club! As the title of the track already suggests, this is another one of Channel X's lengthy journeys into nightlife extravaganzas. A wonderful fidgety bassline and a loop filled with loads of soulful vocal samples from strong male leads to sensitive female souls, this tune is both deep, touchful and destroying. The chainsaw effect session in the middle paves the way for more stomping tech-house business. No time to recover from this, because on the flip it's straight onto the floor with "Wake Up": a loop that's made of trillions of little cut-up effects, vocal bits and some straight four to the floor business. After a playful beginning the tune moves into an hypnotic piece of trippy techno only to be converted into a restless party anthem for the überpeak-time. Sick! Perhaps there is some time to chill with the last of the three tracks that is "Against the Wall". Here it becomes clear what Channel X are best at: to create dark, hard and moving electronic music with that special ingredient that is soul. This track is a perfect example: some frightening effects, lots of reverb on the creepy samples, but such a wonderfully harmonic sample that seems to shed light at the end of the never-ending afterhour. If there is a message to this music, it would be: You need to look hard, but there is always love. Once again label boss Oliver Koletzki has picked up these two very talented producers very early upon their career and it has paid off: in one release being better than the one before.

The Berlin-based techno and house producer and DJ Oliver Koletzki has fully committed himself to his roots for this album. They can be traced back to pop music of the 80ies and 90ies, while his productions still manage to transport the fresh energy of today's electronic music productions. "Großstadtmärchen" is a perfect example for a producer's album: Oliver Koletzki has created a musically compact long player while working together with many different singers. Both established artists like Mieze Katz from the German electro-pop outfit MIA., the hot German pop-rock-singer Axel Bosse, critically acclaimed indie band Kate Mosh as well as newcomers such as Fran, Pyur and Juli Holz have contributed to the album. The result are ten songs that easily fluctuate between catchy pop tracks, modern house grooves and 80ies synthesizer pop yet still maintaining a very own Koletzkieske sound dynamic.

"Großstadtmärchen", which translates as "The tale of the big city" starts off with "THIS IS LEISURE". Famous pop singer Mieze Katz has put down her sexy voice on a guitar-based song pattern that functions as an ideal introduction into the craziness of the big city tales. After hearing this, the listener is directly fully drawn into this world when hearing Juli Holz's softly whispering voice singing about the dilemmas of love in the big city on "ZUCKERWATTE" (Single release date: 7.9.09). This is a very fine electro-pop tune. Coming up next Oliver Koletzki and Axel Bosse board an underground train that takes them around the Berlin U-Bahn system and back. Axel Bosse, who has had a massive success with his song "3 Millionen" adds his melancholic voice to this groovy pop anthem and sings about the poetic magic of public transport, while we hear the sounds of the trains on top. Of course, Oliver Koletzki has added some purely instrumental tracks on his album, too: "KUSSKOMPATIBEL" and "WARSCHAUER STRASSE" are a journey back to Oliver's first years in Berlin and his love for house music. "KLEINES ZWISCHENSPIEL" also celebrates the energetic sound of electronic music. Then there is another great shine of bright light with the pop track "HYPNOTIZED" that is already making airwaves on German radio. It features the newcomer singer Fran that turns this track into a wonderful electronic love story. In her beautiful crystal clear voice Fran tells the story of those moments during the night that decide where it's going to end: a song about love, passion and the energy between male and female, a catchy pop anthem about the first dance, the first kiss and that special moment when the night turns into day. Oliver has equipped this song with a wonderful piano melody and a very smooth and poppy electronic beat. Actually it sounds like Fran and Oliver have never been doing anything else than produce wonderfully fresh pop songs together.

The tale of the city carries on with a very appealing mixture of indie rock and electronic music. "HEADSHAPED BOX" encapsulates what Indietronic sounds like in the year 2009: symphonic, melodic and simply unique. On "THESE HABITS" the just seventeen-year-old singer Pyur makes her debut. This down-beat triphop-groove is a wonderful hit for the late summer. Last up is a bonus track: Oliver Koletzki remixes "NIMM MICH MIT" by the electronic boy-band Die Raketen.

"Großstadtmärchen": This title is chosen for a reason. The story behind Oliver Koletzki is also a magical tale of believing in yourself. Since he is 12 years old, Oliver makes music, by himself or in bands: it is the love for the energy of soundwaves that makes him work hard on himself. In 2005 Oliver Koletzki celebrates the big breakthrough by releasing his hit "Mückenschwarm" on the label of techno grand daddy Sven Väth Cocoon Records. It becomes not only the biggest tune of the year, but also the best selling single on Cocoon Records ever. With this success in mind, Oliver directly realises his dream of starting his own label to promote newcomers. Stil vor Talent also becomes the platform for the release of his first album "Get Wasted" in 2007. One year later, Oliver proves his intuition for pop music when he signs the track "3 Tage Wach" by Lützenkirchen. He makes a low-budget-video for the track that gets an astronomically large half a million views on YouTube within the first three weeks. At least from here it is obvious: Oliver Koletzki is not your average techno producer. His productions and his sense for orginal music also have a deep rooting within pop culture. Thus "Großstadtmärchen" is the logical consequence from two decades of intense musical production: here comes a mature, yet still playful pop album that manages to combine many different influences into one harmonious oeuvre. It shows just how close the dancefloor and pop music really always were, and still are.

With 'Trip to Sanity,' Berlin-based producer, DJ, live performer, and Stil vor Talent label head Oliver Koletzki presents a milestone in his 36-year long musical career and his 18-year tenure at the top of global electronic nightlife – his 10th studio album.

The album’s title, "Trip to Sanity’" – a reference to the classic German children’s story of the little dragon 'Tabaluga' – reflects Oliver's own path as a DJ within the world of club culture. But it also represents the appeal to an unbroken childlike curiosity as a producer, driven by the utopias of this parallel society. Naturally, Koletzki found his creative spark while performing on the stages of renowned festivals like Burning Man, Coachella, Garbicz, and Fusion, as well as in moments of peace and relaxation on meditative hikes and long beach walks in his second home of Cape Town.

In South Africa, Oliver wrote most of "Trip to Sanity" in the winter, then flashed out and finalised the tracks in his studio at Kreuzberg's Holzmarkt. Within the last 18 months a collection of complex and varied songs formed, which, typical for Oliver's collaborative approach, were often created in cooperation with musicians like techno-pop legend Fritz Kalkbrenner, Burning Man chance encounter Talmirage, scene friends Andhim, Hidden Empire, Oliver Klostermann and Niko Schwind, or the exceptional voices Natascha Polké, Malou, LOLY and Marlena Dae. The result is a rollercoaster ride through a diverse spectrum of dance music, effortlessly held together by Koletzki's unmistakable sound signature and his intrinsic sense for the exact tension between hedonistic dancefloor focus and poppy earworm impact. At the centre of it all shines a joie de vivre that runs like a thread through "Trip to Sanity": Playful, cheeky, imaginative, euphoric, a rainbow of genres and influences flow into each other, balanced by moments of reflection, melancholy or harshness.

The journey of discovery begins with the funky piano licks of "Oliver's Silly Jam," seamlessly followed by the disco groover "Get on the Bus." The radio single "Stay Until the Light" (feat. Niko Schwind & Talmirage) then combines pop vocals with deep emotions before Koletzki, alongside his superfriends Andhim, kicks it up a notch on the Afro-house masterclass "Branka." Next up, Fritz Kalkbrenner lends his unmistakable voice to the atmospheric anthem "Heart on Hold," paving the way for "Mind Games." Here, Natascha Polké's ethereal vocals glide over an almost haunting instrumental, heading towards the night.

At the album’s midpoint Koletzki breaks away from the expectations of the typical "techno blueprint" in a formal sense. Starting with the prophetically titled "My Last Attempt," a deep and muscular downtempo workout, Oliver creates a (further) homage to incredibly long nights with "Sonne Geht Auf" (feat. LOLY) and shows a completely different side of himself on the neon-infused dub track "Midnight Reggae." This segment of strong contrasts and a desire for reinvention is rounded off by the dreamy indie-dance atmosphere of "Is It Real" (feat. Malou), slowly leading us back to the club.

Because "The Pleasure of the Very First Time," "Candyflip," "Space Papi," "Elevation" (feat. Hidden Empire), and "Mantra for Bora" are clearly designed for the peak time, which is where Oliver predominantly finds himself during his sets. This part of the album is powerful, driving, and ecstatic – it captures the sweat of the dancefloor and the pulsation of the strobe light, making it tangible while listening.

Then, another shift is presented with "Chasing Holes" and "Hasenheide," two particularly rhythmic tracks characterised by hand drums and Balearic accents. Ultimately, Oliver concludes with the bittersweet closer "Don't Ever Wake Me Up" (feat. Marlena Dae). The title of this finale couldn't be more fitting, as it encapsulates what makes Oliver Koletzki's music so special at its core – it speaks to the subconscious, the senses, hits the heart, and leads it into the here and now.

For those who want to experience said state of mind even more intensely, there’s the opportunity this winter as part of the "Trip to Sanity" live concert tour in Germany. A long term dream of Oliver’s, who will present tracks from the new album paired with highlights from his extensive catalogue – naturally performed on an array of instruments in a proper live setup and as an audio-visual gesamtkunstwerk. Moving into Afro-infused house grounds, "Modesty" finds Branko and Niklas heading for the deeper end of the spectrum, as they pull out a clinically precise blender of rattling percussions, opaque incantations, lush synth swashes and verbed-out machine talk, tailored for nightly boogie rituals in the forest. "Avalanche" opts for a more brooding, deadlier approach. Featuring Felix Raphael on vocals, "Who We Are", is a pop-influenced chugger that perhaps best defines Hidden Empire's ambivalent style, both hi-NRG and innervated with a melancholy that infuses down to the bass and most functional elements. Geared up for big-room traction with its seesawing synths and clinical drumwork, Raphael's moving timbre does more than offer a sensible counterpoint to the track's overall sturdy backbone, it takes it to a whole other dimension completely.

Following up to his maiden transmission for the label, "Cosmic Silence", issued a year ago, Italian producer Alessandro Cozzolino AKA Cioz resurfaces on Stil vor Talent with his longed-for debut album "Supermassive Whole" - a ten-track cosmic odyssey in sound percolating staple elements of Cioz's palette of choice, from otherworldly techno to Latin-inflected house, via the obvious injection of kosmische and electronica soundscaping.

The lead single "Wachaka" - recorded in collaboration with Cape Town producer Ryan Murgatroyd, exemplifies Cozzolino's electrifying approach to a T. An inch-perfectly balanced mix of Afro-infused polyrhythmic bravura and seesawing synth moves, the track swells with a blazing fire at heart that keeps on sprawling infectiously with each and every bar. Trading the linear buildup for most sensuous levels of syncopation, "Me Monkey" serves up a warmer kind of funk, perfect for getting snug and cozy before an avalanche of seesawing chords up the ante towards space-opera-esque amplitude. All in elusive sinuosity and processed machine talk, "Harakat" dwells the confines of wonky house templates and polyamorous EBM, while "I Always Wanted To..." goes the slo-burning, counterclockwise route, primed for languid moments in the alcove.

"B1" is perhaps the most spitting avatar of the Italian whiz's hybrid rolling-and-pounding rhythmic style, nicely embodying both its quirky, hip-swaying and fanfare-like percussive aspects. The ecstatically bouncy "Do It The Way You Feel" showcases Cioz's more rousing, floor-friendly facet with a killer combo of hi-octane electro dynamics, pop-rock motif'd hooks and slashing breaks taking the controls. The mood also happens to be melancholic at times, such as on the beautifully understated "Is This Real", which bridges the gap betwixt piano-house déjà-vu - here tweaked to distinctively soul-wrenching effect, and a prog buildup glossed under a thick sauce of FX, similar to that of "Sudpol Birgit"'s inflating saturation in the post-prod treatment. Somewhat brushed with balearic shades in mind, "Pace e Amore" follows a more classic curve, slowly veering off onto ambient-laced territories, while "Lost in Space" evokes a certain idea of gravity-defying plenitude through that ever intuitive and subtly arranged collage of tender wistfulness and endless attraction towards the groove, which defines Cozzolino's phraseology so fittingly.

Bridging the club universe with that of deeper, further immersive off-floor narratives, Kadosh entices us down a compelling path of rhythmic enlightenment and all-embracing togetherness. Casting mutable strains of EBM, house, pop and exotica entangled in one dizzying polyphony throughout the album, the Israeli vibist has us surfing our way across his musical headspace effortlessly.

From the stealth, neo-noir-like opening sequence of "Interstellar" feat. Marc Piñol to the epic Luso-Italo vibrations of "Sandcastles" feat. vocal hoodooist Abra~o, via the exquisite Afro-informed piano house and all-round atmospheric luxuriance of "My Mind" feat. Floyd Lavine and Erika Krall's supremely smooth yet characterful timbre, Kadosh swings the pendulum with constant surprise and bravura. Aside from his compositions' obvious hooking nature, there's also great lots of textural back funk to dive in at every corner. Hauntingly transporting, "From Jaffa to Frederichshain" feat. Upon You's Marco Resmann works a more jagged programming, flush with big-room reverbs and muted drums, while the slo-evolving "Pronto" feat. Emanuel Satie morphs from a low-key DJ tool into a full-fledged, melancholy-charged peak-time burner.

Bearing both Kadosh and David Mayer's signature, "1999" lets the 80s-inherited arsenal of iridescent Casio synths and lashing percussions talk in unhindered fashion, whereas "Volantage" feat. Murat Uncuoglu goes all in on the trampling kicks, sooty claps and prismatic keyboard stabs. Sensual to the fullest, "Moran" in collaboration with Rodriguez Jr. is certainly one of the album's highlights with its impeccably laid-down melange of bassy thunder and shapely Latin rhythmic backbone ushering us down an irresistibly poignant and hypnotic tunnel of sound. A joint effort with Locked Groove, "Far Too Close" is a further loopy discoid affair reminiscent of the French filtered-house scene's heyday, while the album's closer "Think it Over" feat. On 'Made of Wood', his ninth full-length album since 2007, Oliver Koletzki embodies the seasoned craftsman, carving out his deeply personal sonic sculptures with a confident, learned hand, while experimenting with a broad range of thrilling ideas and fresh textures. The result is an organically flowing, yet decisively shaped work of art, that naturally concludes a trilogy of albums Koletzki embarked on releasing with 'The Arc of Tension' and followed with 'Fire in the Jungle'.

Initially written in Tulum, Mexico, during the pre-pandemic winter of 2019, 'Made of Wood' is physically entwined with the primeval forests that continue to inspire its maker: In the subsequent year it took to complete the album in Berlin, Oliver, aided by numerous live musicians and vocalists, brought his sketches to life with a focus on wooden instruments like djembes, marimbas, santoors or duduks, sculpting a natural sound that's warm in timbre, rich in groove and literally made of wood.

Thanks to the imperfection of the human hand, the album sings with a bold vibrance that stretches from the LP's slow carnivalesque opener 'Caravana De Los Elefantitos' to the blue horns and Wennink's lamenting coos on the concluding ballad 'Turn'. Intermediately, Koletzki's rhythmic explorations take the shape of mythic odes ('Dear Mexican Jungle'), boisterous tribal dances ('La Veleta'), floor-focussed shakers ('Copal'), handpan-driven epics ('Cryptozoology' feat. Walter Scalzone) or subdued oriental belters ('Serpiente Del Ritmo' feat. ELIH) – emphasising his control over light and dark tonalities, over organic and synthetic sounds alike. Most strikingly, Oliver slowly breaks away from the album's natural feel in the mid-section, in which the disorienting, abstract stunner 'Picture' (with Niko Schwind & Judith Ahrends) rubs shoulders with the synth-crescendos of the bouncy 'Made of Cashmere', while the 14-minute long meditation 'A Starseed's Journey' makes for a powerful penultimate breather later on.

Next to the meticulous attention to instrumentation and his instinctive touch, these twists and turns underline that Koletzki feels entirely at ease on 'Made of Wood' – like the true artisan he is.

South of Kotti, the modest Admiralbrücke bridges the hustle and bustle of Kreuzberg with the idyllic Graefekiez beyond, transforming those few meters across the Landwehrkanal into an epicenter of casual canal beers, shared slices of pizza and mellow tunes from a wild array of buskers during the warmer months of the year. Over the years, Berlin has been cited as Oliver Koletzki’s main point of reference and, more importantly, his endless source of inspiration. His albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 are wholehearted tributes of the German capital, as its importance is continuously hinted and charted. Friedrichshain, one of Berlin’s vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver’s heart. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Kreuzberg’s wall paintings adorn Stil Vor Talent ’s cover sleeves and host their headquarters. There are little to no corners in the city that haven’t brought a spark of inspiration into the mix. The Schneeweiss compilation series, now at its 10th installment, is built as a form of tribute to all these particles, tied in together into a series of carefully curated tracks. Each compilation stands at the intersection of the musical and cultural surroundings most prominent of their respective times, acting both as a reminder as well as a timeless sound capsule for the years to come.

Giorgia Angiuli's debut album Pink Bubble channels the artist's effervescent persona and own bubbly style in a 12 track-long, honest musical expression. Drawing inspiration from her first worldwide tour, where life on the road was impacted by personal loss, the album title Pink Bubble captures the essence of the artist's mindset, caught in between the artistic world and real life: "I felt like in a pink bubble, between memories and new experiences, between darkness and colours". Brandishing an immersive sonic sphere, the classically trained musician played and recorded all instruments throughout the album, including her favourite weapons of choice, from her beloved 60's guitar to vintage analog synths like the Moog Sub37, Juno 106, the infamous O-B-6 synth and more.

The synesthesia of dark and colourful with new and old memories stands at the core of the album, as introspective airy tracks intertwine with more dynamic, bass-heavy constructions.

On its luminous side, we see cuts radiating with crystalline, microscoping sounds with sweeping ambience like the opener A Perfect Day in Tulum, leading the listener on a nervous path towards more obscure tracks such as Copenhagen and Nothing to Lose, until bringing the atmosphere to a boiling point. Music is Life encapsulates Giorgia's passion for her craft, an intrinsic part of her life that brings peace and inspiration: "Music is life with wings, sit in the warm water, just reflecting, being".
