Audio Culture regular, Severn Beach, returns for his 3rd release on the label. The Busy Block EP finds Severn Beach exploring new territories in equal depth. The title track Busy Block is a starting off light and skippy before exploding into a hefty slab of peak-time house, complete with uplifting chords and contrasting android-like bleeps. On the flip, Camden Paranoia, takes an almost 180 degree turn, delving into darker, industrial areas. Raw kicks and mechanical percussion are gradually layered building up to a climatic frenzy. Next is Severian, a bumpy ride through an electrical storm before reaching the break in the clouds and feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin.

Having released on some of the most influential labels, it is with great honor that Audio Culture welcomes the Montreal based artist, Nautiluss, to the family. The Solstice EP consists of four tracks and finds Nautiluss exploring warmer, more euphoric territories, and he does it right whilst still
retaining the boldness and toughness of his past work. The EP flows effortlessly from the big string euphoria on Solstice to the darker tones on Corvus passing the slightly off kilter shuffle on Neptune then comes to a close with the spaced out mix of Corvus. Without a doubt these will heat up any dancefloor in the cold winter months ahead.

GoldFFinch’s well received Model EP from 2012 gets a rework for 2013. On the A side Dutch house and techno legend, Dexter, turns Let Me See into a driving, analog beast. While on the flip fresh faced Finnish duo Femme En Fourrure take on the original title track, Model, and inject it with their signature gritty and sleazy sound. The remix 12” comes as a limited edition, hand-stamped vinyl only release. In stores August 19th.

Audio Culture tap back into the creative pool of Bristol for a collaboration between two new alter egos: Lrusse & Bleecker. Lrusse is the new solo project of Ed Bayling, of Behling & Simpson the bristolian champions of slow-house burners, while Bleecker is the more 4x4 driven guise of fellow bristolian Wedge. The result of this collaborative effort are three tracks of chunky, slow, heavy analogue vibes with an abundance of atmospherics.

Having released the anonymous and enormous F**k Yonkers bootleg earlier this year, the Amsterdam based Audio Culture Label is poised to unleash their first official release,,a piece of music which is the result of the collaborative efforts of Dutch wunderkind Presk and Amsterdam’s premier tastemaker Cinnaman. In part, Pieter ‘Presk’ Willems’ support is responsible for the label’s inception. In a short space of time Presk has built up a solid and impressively distinct sounding catalogue of work released on respected imprints such as Ramp sister label Fourth Wave and Doc Daneeka’s Ten Thousand Yen.
Making a name for himself with nothing more than his hands and impeccable taste, Yuri ‘Cinnaman’ Boselie has become somewhat of a musical institution in Amsterdam. He’s the man behind the ground breaking Colors nights and is responsible for the equally forward thinking Beat Dimensions compilations.
The B-side features two expertly remixed and uniquely different takes on the original, courtesy of non other than Instra:mental’s Jon Convex and Ten Thousand Yen head honcho Doc Daneeka.
