An essential part of the German Techno scene for more than fifteen years now, Johannes Heil is now in better shape than ever. With his eighth studio album "Loving", Heil draws both a modern and traditional balance of his life from and for the music, and thus sets one of the undisputed musical highlights this year. vWith this exclusive remix package, Cocoon Recordings is even topping that one: the Mainz-born Bülent Gürler aka Butch is known as one of the most versatile German Tech House producers, at least since his club smasher "No Worries". In his version of "The Ace", the perfect open air hymn for the modern House generation is emerging from a flute-like summer harmony. An essential contributor to the British Techno scene since the beginning of the nineties is Mark Broom. His Soul Mix of "Loving" combines the melancholy of Detroit techno with Ibiza House dubs and powerful handclaps, forming an intensive homage to the sensuality of the dance floor. Last not least, Gregor Tresher is celebrating the return of the melody with his remix of "Twentythree", after having released some stricter records for Break New Soil and Drumcode.
The digital edition of the Loving remixes is completed by three more revisions: Amsterdam-based Bart Skils massively stresses the bass membrane with his pumping version of "Loving", while Mark Broom is pushing further into the depths of the Balearic Dub surge with his second Soul Mix. With "Seeded", the Cocoon Club House duo C-Rock/Matthias Vogt aka Motorcitysoul is finally exploring the occasionally menacing deepness of the House area with vibrating percussions and disco strings, just in the manner of their releases for Simple Records and Ibadan. After all, love wants to be shared.

What time is love? With this question, Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond - better known as "The KLF" - have officially introduced the acid-orientated second Summer of Love 1988. However, the answers to this question might be numerous as the number of people living on the earth. Some think that it is the Summer of 1967, where the Hippie movement had its peak, others may hope for the perfect love in 2525 or maybe the time of love is now, in the year 2010. Obviously, Johannes Heil belongs to the latter group. For more than fifteen years, he is an essential part of the German Techno scene and - with his classics from the likes of "Paranoid Dancer" (Kanzleramt, 1998) or "Calling" (1999) - belongs to the acoustic long-term memory of Techno. However, in the last few years with his releases for Klang Elektronik, Anthony Rother's Datapunk label and several own imprints like JH Records, Metatron or, most recently, Shit happens, Johannes remained one of the guarantors for musical enhancements. With his eleventh studio album "Loving", Heil is taking stock of his 15 years of musical past, in a modern and at the same time traditional way. He uses influences from Detroit House only superficially, the history of modern dance music that he tells is that of music as the universal language between all continents. So, one can find African chants in a marching rhythm ("Hallelujah") as well as terrific pumping pizzicato strings ("The Ace"), hypnotically dancefloor-binding sub bass runners like "To The Groove" or Samba percussion tracks with marching band citations ("Glockenspiel") and Detroit high tech House ("Freedom Of Heart") - all of them being equally part of the comprehensive vocabulary of... yes, love! After all, love as an emotional condition still feels the best in present tense.

However, he is equally well-known for continuous musical development. With this present teaser for his eleventh studio album "Loving" that will be released in Summer 2010, the sound Chamaeleon Heil presents himself more House-orientated than ever before. With references to both classic Detroit Techno and modern high-tech House, "Freedom Of Heart" is consequently committed to the summer, thanks to jubilating strings and piano riffs. Cocoon artist still runs his own label "Deep Vibes" with great success. "Deep Vibes" brought
up some outstanding music by Sascha Dive and his „house-mates“ like Brothers Vibe or
Robert Dietz. Welcome Sascha Dive with his trippy dark tech house track Child of sorrow at
the ARAS family.
ARAS label head André Galluzzi has been a vinyl DJ for 25 years. With residencies at
Tresor, Ostgut and Berghain and releases on labels like Ostgut, Cocoon, Cadenza, Plus8
,Ovum, Music Man ,Ongaku, Taksi and Bar 25, André can look back at quite a history. 2017
has been another busy season for the artist who additionally presenting his Berlin based

"Alcatraz" as a whole is a captivating piece of art, its the essence of a club night. Now after received a wave of icredible feedback from "Alcatraz", the bird returns to ARAS with a bunch of remixes of the hypnotic track "Mathilda". Time to welcome Mike Shannon and Jacek Sienkiewicz to the ARAS family. This remixes will be a blast at the club by its very deep and reduced, futuristic interpretations.

Mike, as head A&R of Cynosure and formerly Revolver Canada Recordings over 10 years, has shown an uncanny ability to select and produce tracks which have become go-to fixtures in the sets of the industry's best DJs. Far from pursuing the next one hit wonder or sound of the season, his steadfast curatorial vision and passion for the music have earned him the trust of discerning music connoisseurs the world over. Alongside DeWalta, Mike impressed lately with his album "Residual" on Cynosure/ meander back in March 2016.

Jacek Sienkiewicz lives in Warsaw and he is a key figure in Polish electronic music scene. He holds Recognition since 1999, one famous label based in Berlin. With one foot deep in classic Detroit and Chicago dance scene, and the other in modern jazz and classical music, Jacek's tracks for the past ten years always try to find a right balance between the avant-garde and dancefloor, between primal emotions and highly sophisticated sonic wizardry. His latest album "Hideland" has been released in August 2016 on Recognition.

With each beat, every snare and bassline, André Galluzzi is fascinating mind, body and soul.
Similar to his live-sets the debut album has a captivating conceptual build, gaining speed and intensity steadily, and turning the world upside down for a moment. "Alcatraz" delivers a colourful and multifaceted blend of driving grooves and hypnotic beat-combinations, where Galluzzi drapes his listeners in distinctive analog warmth.
Inspired by occult sounds and psychedelic vocals, the album floats easily through the Technocosmos, overleaping stylistic boundaries and returning just as swiftly to its starting point. The always foregrounded percussive puls of "Alcatraz" seems created equivalent to Galluzzi's own heart rate and gives the whole disc congenial and tangible authenticity.

MAHER DANIEL & Matthew Dekay from Canada are well known by releases on SOUVENIR and REJECTED as well as INNERVISIONS, CÉCILLE and ALL I DREAM. They did the first track, TAUBEN, released at MARCUCA Rec. This track stands for amazing rolling bassline and beautiful floating parts combined with gentle vocal elements. By a kind of break the track exposes his open air telent with a charming hookline before it develop all it´s powerfull magic.
Further, we are happy with MARC MIROIR and his track UNDER CONTROL. As the head of PASO MUSIC and by several cooperations like INZ and TRAPEZ Ltd., MARC did many more releases and his album debut (HITTING HOME) as well. UNDER CONTROL result from a common production of MARC MIRROR and ASEM SHAMA. It has an excelent massiv groove with some nice dark vocals and a very strong, hypnotic atmospher.

There's a certain dynamic that emerges whenever Andre Galluzzi and Dana Ruh pair up to create a record. With last year's "Freya / Mauersegler" split EP on Ostgut Ton, the two have already hit up some of the most prestigious labels in the electronic music landscape. Tracks that are upbeat, driving, and, most of all, fresh have characterized their co-productions, which now have ARAS as a home.
Taking its cues from their label nights at Berlin's Panorama Bar, Galluzzi and Ruh have solidified ARAS into an imprint based around expanding upon the creative energy that both share. Their first release, "Trambolla", harmonizes each artist's approach into a grooving whirlwind that showcases their ability as producers as well as live musicians.Starting off with the title track "Trambolla", the EP begins with tribal beats and infectious arrangements that seamlessly build upon each other along the course of the A-side. Grooving from the start, it's the kind of track where the listener or the DJ gets into the vibe right away. The percussion of "Trambolla" especially stands out amongst the Latin-tinged bongos, hi-hats, and hand claps that interchangeably come in and out of the track, a journey of its own at 9 minutes.
"Thelema", the B-side, contrasts with the lightness of the A-side and demonstrates Galluzzi and Ruh's equal comfort in creating darker and heavily pounding tracks. The ten minute track grows out of a simple beat and growls ever louder as it takes in more intensity with its cascade of filters, delays, and booming bass. Aside from the hard edge of "Thelema", it also provides a preview into the live set that the two artists are about to debut together.
