The latest release on Metroline takes no prisoners. Clio brings it big. Every track on this EP is loaded, primed and ready to fire. Lead track Poem does "big" the George Clinton way. Basslines cranked to funk, tempo raised, and drum tracks set to attack. Sinister and sparse percussion gives Do It an entirely different feel. But under the tune's brooding atmospherics is an equally powerful rhythm. Fired by a growling sub-bass that whoomps out of the speaker like a sonic weapon. Killer. Speaker-busting bass and pumping kicks are the order of the day on the flip. Carlo Lio's remix of Do It thunders along. Built for dancefloor shock and awe, this track's built like a tank - unstoppable and ready for combat. The massively in-demand Sasch BBC and Casper go intergalactic on their rework of Poem. This is the tune that plays in Hal 9000's head. Epic, deep and serious, with a healthy dose of paranoia. Careful this one doesn't tear a hole in your space station.

Clio - Eyes (Dub Mix)
The decade of the 80s is revived through recordings like "Eyes" that allow you to travel through the music and trigger those old emotions of innocence, joy and adventure. It's possible you don't understand a word of what they're singing in the chorus, but the song is very catchy! Maybe not even Maria Chiara Perugini knows what she sings about, but she makes you hang on to every word of her like a nursery rhyme of synths, beach and bubblegum. "Eyes" is so amazing, so mesmerizing and more and more people are discovering this italo-disco masterpiece that usually satisfies and makes fun of you at the same time. If you try playing it at 75% speed gives a hypnotic vapor wave vibe! And even more, the song would have fit well in the dance club scenes from Scarface. Beyond the words - difficult to find a text that makes sense, sometimes out of context, unundestandable even for a French listener - the piece is so surprisingly likeable for the unique tone of Clio's voice, a strange cross between teenager and adult, and the part where she spoke another language, with some really cool synthesizers, are people's favorite parts. "Eyes" by Clio contains all the emotions that a dance-pop song should contain plus the essential element of mystery, a kind of magic that takes place between the chorus and the bass line, a shot in the dark drizzly night of the Italo-Disco. made by Roberto Ferrante, a guarantee for the perfect productions of the 80s, when he was only 20 years old.

Repress!
Worthy italo re-issue (in a newly mastered version) of this early Roberto Ferrante's project. Roberto started his career being part of various electronic music groups in Naples around the early 80s! His career took off when he made his first deal with Best Record by Claudio Casalini for ''Come On Closer'' by Pineapples which obtained worldwide success and was played at the legendary Chicago Radio Station WBMX by the mythological DJ's collective, Hot Mix 5. In 1985 it was time for another classic named ?Faces?, a simple but direct and honest song with an irresistible rhythm and lyrics that tends to move away from that typical dark sound in other Italo-Disco songs of that era. This song is a triumph for synthesizers and electronic drums as it's fully electronic, something still a rarity in those days! The beautiful melody and spiritual essence of ''Faces'' represent the revolution of a new beginning of the Italian pop of the 80s with a perfect arrangement by Roberto Ferrante, a bouncing bassline, and strong and clear vocal. The sweet and sensual voice, full of personality and charm is by Clio (Maria Chiara Perugini). The graphics are by Patrizio Squeglia and all together it made this groundbreaking release which is one of the best Italo-Disco songs ever made. More

UPC: 5051083083782 Release Date: 29/09/2014
Tracklisting: A1. The Beautiful Forces A2. Something Like That feat. Loquace B1. The Beautiful Forces (Thomas Schumacher Remix) B2. Something Like That feat. Loquace (Yvan Genkins Remix)
Short info:
After a two year gap Clio is back on Metroline Limited after producing two of the most successful releases from the label's extensive catalogue: For Sure Baby (2010) and Do It EP (2012).
In the opening track, The Beautiful Forces, Blade Runner soundscapes morph into post-rave stabs and combine with heavy subs and sci-fi effects to create the soundtrack to a rave in an abandoned space station.
On a more Chicago tip, Something Like That is a collaboration with French groove master Loquace. The result is a loose, flowing house jam, which as the lyrics tell you, is all about vibe - it doesn't have to be planned… it's just how you feel!
The legendary Thomas Schumacher turns out a serious burner on the flip with his remix of The Beautiful Forces, bringing the vocals up in the mix and throwing in a pumping b-line to keep things moving nicely.
Swiss rising star Yvan Genkins takes on marginalising the Chi-town flavour of the original and working the elements up into a eyes-down Tresor-style techno monster. Classic 909 hits, a satisfying low-end rumble… it doesn't get more floor-friendly than this.

Short info:
Metroline Limited 100th release! OMG!...We would have never expected to reach such an important milestone when we started our label from a pub in North-West London 13 long years ago!
Passion and dedication brought us to where we are now with the aim to keep delivering fresh and exciting electronic music as we did back in 2007.
There is one guy who has been with us for almost all of the way through, starting with his first release for Metroline LImited back in 2008, and that is Aurelien Riviere aka Doubtingthomas.
It's been a few years since his oustanding Capharnaum EP was released and 5 years on, that release is still a very much in demand minimal techno classic.
We are very happy to have Aurelien back, this time teaming up with the very talented Russian producer and good friend Wyro. Our tasty package is completed by non-other than super hot French producer Janeret on remix duties.
Aurelien's trademark sound is present throughout the 3 original tracks in this EP although this time his sound has been 'maximised' from teaming up with Wyro and with an injection of funk and good dose of peak time action.
On the A-side, the opener 'Prisme' stands out for its razor sharp machine funk rhythm and his Positive Education style funky b-line while Unten is pure peak time hands in the air synth perfection over a shuffle'd up minimal techno groove.
The B-side sees Janeret take Unten up a notch and create a deep tech-house monster where an immense kick bound and leaps through a beautifully rich and deep bassline while hypnotic pads and super crisp drums bring things forward nicely. A pounding, and truly exhilarating, track.
Distancia dives deeper. The track start with a single note bassline and a surgical rhythm made of single bleeps and clicks and then develops into a more intricate arrangement made of delicate synths, atmospherics and the usual expert drum programming.
As always, The Ep is mastered at I-deal mastering lab our in-house engineer Andrea Kalenda.

Giash - Imagin__ary

Giash - Sen_d_ingo
- First release on Metroline Limited by Hungarian producer Giash
- Artist has previously released on Archipel, Plaisir Records, Apotek Studio & many more!
Tracklist:
A1. Brunc_hc-_h
A2. Imagin__ary
B1. Sen_d_ingo
Short info:
Hungarian producer Giash has been on Metroline Limited radar for quite some time. It took a while to get him on board but the wait is finally over: the misteriously titled Sen_d_Ingo Ep is here and it is super-tasty!
An expert crafter of minimal beats and hypnothic grooves, Giash career has spanned over 10 years with his productions being released on wax through seminal labels such as Archipel, Plaisir, Why So Series and many more.
The opening track, Brunc_hc-_h, give us the first shot of underscores and a high dosage of machine funk minimalism. It's a full on/slow-mo industrial churning groover with sci-fi licks and lush pads work!
The second cut on the A side it's the beatiful Imagin__ary and it's deep minimalism at the highest level. It's a great mixture of new and old as far as reduced jacking grooves are concerned.
It could have easily fitted in the late 90's Perlon/Playhouse era but it surely sounds as current, fresh and forward thinking now.
Side B is solely occupied by the tripped out grooves of Sen_d_ingo. Close your eyes, imagine yuorself in an East London basement at the darkest of after-parties, this track is the perfect fit for that particular moment.
Over 13 minutes of dark and hypnotic beauty, the track is crunchy and punchy with a wigglesome broken rhythm, some subtle synth variations and plenty of dark and deep atmoshperics!
Vital Sales Points:
- First release on Metroline Limited by Hungarian producer Giash
- Artist has previously released on Archipel, Plaisir Records, Apotek Studio & many more!

Tracklist:
A1. Hamid - Unterdrücken
A2. Octad - Checkmated
B1. Dhaze & Phiorio - NT
B2. Gabriele Mancino - Cheddar, Lions & Lambs
Short info:
It's quite funny that it took 11 years for us over at Metroline Limited to release an EP with tracks from different artists (at least on vinyl that is) but hey, good things go to those of wait so the wait is finally over!
For our first Positive Contribution we gathered Metroline Limited friends and label owners and put together a tasty four tracker that focusses on the deep and minimalistic end of house music.
Hamid went a long way since his debut EP on Metroline in 2010. The Berlin based French producer has since released on influential labels such as his own H+, Nervmusic, Minibar as well as becoming a regular figure in clubs all around Europe.
His track Unterdrücken starts off the EP in style with his bleeps, squelchy acid b-line, pads and crisp drums.
Octad takes control and the second half of the A side and it's yet another display of his amazing production skills. The man behind the mastering of each single Metroline release to date knows very well how to get the best sound out of his tracks! And what a bassline he's come up with for Checkmated!
Dhaze and Phiorio have been collaborating for a while swapping remixes and musical ideas. NT is one the finest results from these music exchanges. Deep and rolling, the track has a monster groove, lush pads and dubbed out elements.
Last but not least we have another long time friend of the label, Gabriele Mancino. His Cheddar, Lion and Lamb pays tribute both to a London trip and old Perlon releases when groovy and reduced house music was gracing most of the records on the pioneering house label. An ultra-groovy and playful minimal house number with funk and style!

- First vinyl release for 10 Years Of Metroline Limited series
- Produced by label bosses Octad and Phiorio
Tracklist:
A1. Octad - Missing Bits , A2. Octad - Synopsis Of 8
B1. Phiorio - Icarus , B2. Phiorio - Organs
Short info:
This release is one of round numbers. It's Metroline Limited release number 50. You may have actually noticed that we almost got to release 90 by now but number 50 was always kept behind for a collaborative release between the two men behind the label: Andrea and Gianpiero aka Octad and Phiorio.
It took a fairly long time to put this release together, mainly because running a label with a DIY ethos is a time consuming affair and most of the time doesn't leave too much free time for sonic experimentations. We really hope it was worth the wait!
And what a better opportunity to release Metroline number 50 like for the label's 10 years anniversary.
So much has happened since 2007, we released a LOT of music, some of our tracks have been played in the best clubs and festivals and by some of our favourite dj's. We are not going to name names but we are extremly proud of what we have achieved in our 10 years history.
We are also proud of the fact that we are still around with energy and enthusiam to keep on releasing new music, this time (finally) by our label owners and also soon by a lot more talented producers in the months to come.
Music wise, in this EP you will find some of the syles that made Metroline music known over the years.
The two tracks on the A side are produced by Octad. Missing Bits has Octad's trademark minimal groove with hissing hats and a huge sub bass. There is a clever use of percussive bits, dark stabs and vocals to create a sublime dark minimal techno builder.
Synopsis of 8 keeps the A side atmosphere well dark. Andrea managed to create a solid machine funk dark and spooky techno number with metallic percussion and plenty of groove.
Phiorio takes control ot B side with the opening track Icarus. If you are familiar with Gianpiero's music you will know that he doesn't take any compromise when it's time to deliver some bizarre and experimental techno and this is exactly what Icarus is.
The groove is very intricate, there's suffled up hats, an ever flowing modular bass and a cut up vocal that becomes some sort of disorienting pad that adds groove to the track. 10 minutes of bizarre sci-fi minimal madness!
The EP closer is called Organs and it's a more straight up modern deep house number with a killer groove, big bass and interesting pads and atmos.

Inspired by many of the industry's pioneers, such as, Ricardo Villalobos, Masomenos, Marc Antona, Rhadoo, Seuil, Cabanne, Petre Inspirescu and Danny Tenaglia, to name but a few, Counrad has been strongly influenced by deep and meaningful techno, since he began his plight in the industry.
Music has always been at the forefront, for this Italian DJ/producer , and the Inwave and Counrad Series labels boss relishes the challenge of crafting techno that reveals itself gradually to the more discerning listener, fusing a multitude of grooves from contrasting musical styles, with a combination of sexy rhythms, subtle textures and emotive melodies.
In this first release for Metroline Limited, Counrad showcases the full spectrum of his versatile production skills.
The title track Underwater is a full on 15 minutes epic chunky minimal monster that just keeps on building. This amazing piece of work takes the listener on a journey that starts with hypnotic minimalism and finishes with some intricate trippy techno. On the flipside you can find the dark and percussive peak time tech-house grooves of Particle Collsisions and some uber-cool modern machine funk minimalism in the shape of the closing track Synapse.

nami - Origins Of Maul

nami - Teorema

nami - Galaxy 3025
- Nami has previously released sould out editions on Nami, Eastenderz, NeoConcepto that already strike high on discogs.
- Metroline Limited first 12" of 2016 after a series of succesful vinyl releases by East End Dubs, Doubtingthomas, Dhaze & more.
Tracklist: A1. Origins Of Maul , A2. Teorema , B1. Galaxy 3025
The elusive and mysterious producer Nami is the artist behind the 80th release on Metroline Limited. And what a way to start the new year if not with some fresh wax filled by dubbed out grooves and intricate sound structures.
This idiosyncratic three tracker strats off with the tripped out dub of Origins Of Maul and its swerving infectious rhythm. Huge bass, crisp percussions, loud cut, that's the A side for you.
On the flipside we have two offers: one for the body and one for the mind.
Body music comes from Teorema: a more jacking approach, the pace has been upped, the rhythm has been toughened up! One for floor, at peak time!
The title track Galaxy 3025 is music for you mind instead. A totally immersive broken dubby house track with disorienting pads, clicks and efx. Deep and lush electonic music at its best!

3
dhaze - Subatomic Pussy (Medu Remix)
4
dhaze - Hardware In Love
Tracklist: A1. Subatomic Pussy , A2. Waterdrip , B1. Subatomic Pussy (Medu Remix) , B2. Hardware In Love
Vital Sales Points:
- Dhaze featured on Metroline Limited 76 (with Sabe) as well as on Amam, Little Helpers, Body Parts & more
- Remix from Spanish producer Medu (Dissonant, Wavetech Ltd)
Short info:
For release number 80 we welcome back Italian producer Dhaze. Hailing from Rome, Dhaze started his self-thought experimentation with electronic music in 1996 when he bought his first sampler.
His productions have seen the light of day on several undergound labels such as Amam, Little Helpers, Bla Bla, Body Parts, Inmotion and plenty more!
Of course Dhaze has also already released on Metroline Limited, with fellow Italian producer Sabe, on the stunning Metroline Limited 76, Full Force EP.
The EP opening is the 'explicit' Subatomic Pussy. The groove shuffles away with a clever use of drum patters and crispy hats. The mood is dark and disorienting, almost sinister with some crazy cavernous Green Velvet-esque vocal snippets that make their presence felt every now and then.
And if the dark grooves of the openeing track weren't heavy enough, the following track, Waterdrip take the tension up a notch or two! The track is a relentless groovy monster, one for the darkest moments of a tech-house set but also suitable for the most obscure hours of Berghain! Not for the faint hearted! :)
This time on remix duty we welcome Spanish producer Medu. Having loved his latest productions both on Dissonant and Wavetech Ltd we though about asking him to rework Subatomic Pussy and the result is excellent.
Medu stripped Subatomic Pussy down to it bare elements but menaged at the same time to re-create a similarly hypnotic and driving peak time techno number!
As we like our EP's to be 'all killers' and 'no fillers', to close this release in style we decided to include the incredible track 'Hardware In Love' Quite frankly this track could easily be selected as the main track of another release all year round but hey...we want to give you the best value for money, always!
The sound of the synth bassline combined with the acquatic drums and the squelchy modulated synth contribute to building an intense groove with some room for some housier vibes in the breakdowns.

doubtingthomas - cognitive dissonance, cristi cons remix
UPC: 5051083086158 Release Date: 02/02/2015
Tracklist:
A1. Off The Grid A2. Cognitive Dissonance B1. Cognitive Dissonance (Cristi Cons Remix)
Short info:
Aurelien Riviere aka Doubtingthomas has been one of the most faithful artists to the Metroline Limited stable with his first release on the label dating back to 2008. That release was the minimal-esque 5 track digital EP called Carambolage and since then Aurelien has produced another EP and various other tracks for a number of Metroline compilations, but never a 12" single. The wait is finally over and we are very proud to present a Doubtingthomas vinyl release on Metroline Limited! Capharnaüm is a very trippy affair across 3 tracks, 2 originals from Aurelien and a remix from the uber talented Romanian producer from Arpiar fame, Cristi Cons. Off The Grid, the opener, stays within the grid until 3/4 of its lenght. A tight kick leads the way with the help of a pulsating bass and some lush pads in typical Doubtingthomas style. The 'off' moment happens after the mid way point when the free jazz element comes in and shuffles the groove...off the grid! Cognitive Dissonance brings more ghost-in-the-box pads, the same production values are there: arpeggio synths, tight drum work and a pitched down/warped down glacial female vocals to add the right amount of spookiness. Cristi Cons is a man on fire at the moment. Each of his releases and remixes always seem to hit the spot with his blend of Romanian minimalism and infectious grooves. And he does what he is best at in his 12 minutes long rework of Cognitive Dissonance. The track is a pacey and driving chunky monster. The pressure is always kept at tipping point by the huge groove and the clever editing of the original parts such as pads and vocal.

A1. Ninja Cat
A2. Ninja Cat (Doubtinthomas Remix)
B1. Superpupider
B2. Ninja Cat (Adjustment Bureau Remix)
Phiorio's Animals release has been a labour of love. After co-running Metroline Limited for the past 6 years and after a series of digital releases and remixes for both Metroline and Retrometro (as well as Letroom Limited and MBF amongst others), Phiorio's vinyl debut on ML finally sees the light of day. The choice of remixers has also been laborious but over at Metroline HQ we are really happy that in the end we managed to secure two stunning reworks by the likes of the more and more in demand French producer Doubtingthomas (with releases on labels such as Hummingbird, Organic and of course, Metroline Limited) and the super-hot up and coming Russian producers Adjustment Bureau. The EP opening track Ninja Cat is a deep and quirky number. The groove is tight with heavy drums and crisp percussions. An acid b-line leads the way while atmospherics pop in and out until an off key synth appears and adds a level of spookiness to the proceedings. Doubtinthomas remix take things into even deeper territory. His landmark reduced drum programming is very noticeable here with shuffled up percussions, lush pads and a very heavy bass to guarantee maximum impact on the dancefloor. Superpupider is a no-nonsense straight up dark and dirty techno tool. It's all about the groove with this track, the drums lead the way with clever use of filtered hats and percussions. That said, Phiorio's ability with abstract sound is still in evidence with plenty of spooky voices, pads and noises firing off in all directions. Adjustment Bureau remix of Ninja Cat completes our tasty package. The Russian duo's (soon to release a stunning debut EP on Hypertone) approach is in line with modern trippy and experimental techno and has a distinctive 'Romanian' vibe. They used the original elements of the track and added extra percussive and vocal samples to create an epic, intricate and groovy paranoid funk number.

A1. Un Pic A2. Go Find Yourself B1. To Chew Your Teeth (Ada Kaleh Remix)
Quickly making his mark on the techno scene, Romania's Plusculaar has one of the most unique styles in the game - his intriguingly complex and intricate rhythms stand out on any dancefloor, and he's produced an EP of prime cuts for us here at Metroline.
Un Pic is a powerful factory floor groove that comes with a nasty little bass growl and pulsing Motor City synth stabs.
Despite its title Go Find Yourself is a tune to get lost in. A fluid morphing structure makes rhythms out of melodies and melodies out of rhythms.
Fellow Romanian Ada Kaleh turns in a precise and focused rework of TCYOT. The driving structure of the track is kept lively, with some brilliant EQing that gives the mix real movement and groove.

A1. Summa Dis A2. Argo B1. Summa Dis (Snilloc Remix) B2. Hoxton
East End Dubs delivers a surgical strike on this Metroline 4-track release. Weighty b-lines, and sharp perc work is the order of the day here. Summa Dis hits us with a top drawer Chi Town baseline, with pads that call out like Muezzins in the night and taught atmospheric strings. The result is a clean hit of Great Lakes techno. Highly recommended. Following right behind, title track Argo brings together bruising on-beat bass hits, and skittish perch elements that cut like a razor. Clever EQ-riding, and some sexy french vox give the track depth, but this is one for the eyes-down crew.
On the flip, Snilloc takes remixing duties on Summa Dis, twisting the original into a track pounder, that slowly but surely evolves into a full-on siren-laden relentless warehouse stomp. And finally we end up in the once-fashionable Hoxton. Just like the London neighborhood that inspires the name, the track has a ghostly, nostalgic quality - like an echo of a memory - but one that you can dance to, obviously, thanks to a deep growl of a baseline and lush pads given the full long-release Deepchord-style reverb treatment. Lush.

A1. Freak Back A2. Got Ya, Tiger! B1. Got Ya, Tiger! (Alex Celler Broken Circuit Dub)
Elon make with the DIY vibes on the smart EP. Fans of Live Jam releases, listen up! On the title track sharp cuts, tight bursts of sound and loose percussion combine into a complex rhythm that is kept in check by a nice tumbling bassline. Jazz breaks hit the speakers with Got Ya, Tiger! Like a night out in Soho in 1962 brought back to life on an MPC. The bruising bassline just shouts "Dance Or I'll Kick You In The Guts". Alex Celler's Broken Circuit Dub of Got Ya, Tiger! ramps up that kicking a notch. All those bruising elements are still there, but the guy grinds those jazz breaks up in his big metal jaws and spits out a gobful of twisted future. And you're gonna like it! Elon team up with Stefny on Téo, which finishes the EP. And you can feel her effect - she clearly loves a cheeky little synth line, because there are plenty of them here... squalking, meeping and dooping in perfect harmony to create a nice trancey brainfeeder. Nice.

Maurizio Vitiello is now a regular artist in the Metroline camp. His functional grooves have seen the light of day in various shapes and forms on the label from the free digital releases of the very early days all the way to the ultra-successful MusicOn EP released in 2011. Now Maurizio is…."back again" with a vengeance! And what about this for an opener… Smooth keys bounce over rolling breaks and a wideboy bassline on Sirio B. Clean, crisp production and plenty of classic vibes. Keeping that feeling going on side A, Wishing Well brings more of the tribal house flavour, but with more pump, and just a little more grit in the mix. Martin Eyerer takes on Sirio B on the flip. True to form he techs things up nicely, raising the kicks in the mix and adding Chitown bass vibes and a big old techno synthline that flows like a river. Back Again polishes the EP off in style… a pacey, driving blend of old school percussion rolling bass and traffic light keys… killer groove!

Martin Eyerer needs little introduction: a label owner, mastering wizard, radioshow producer with a djing and producing career that spans along 20 years. We are very proud to have him releasing on Metroline Limited. After a mutual appreciation that grew stronger after Martin started supporting a few Metroline and Retrometro tracks on his DJ sets and radio shows, a remix request was followed by the delivery of a track: The Coronator. Over at Metroline HQ they liked the track so much that label owners Octad and Phiorio decided to take up the remix duties themselves (and deliver even 2 different cuts). A quick email to get our own Japanese deep house talent Yoshitaca involved and The Coronator package was complete! The original version of The Coronator is a complex percussive groove. A pulsating bassline keep the track going while a metallic geiger counter type synth (of Kraftwerk memory) give the track and interesting edge. Octad & Phiorio Forse Remix strip down the track to its bare elements adding a percussive groove to create a peak time roller that will surely have people grooving on the dancefloor at 5am! While sending each other ideas during the remix process, Octad & Phiorio ended up with some deeper grooves that also deserved further exploration. Their Forse deep remix add some shifting percussive elements, a big synth bass, lush pads while layering the main vocal theme. Yoshitaca remix completes this tasty package. Tokyo based producer, this talented artist was behind one of Metroline’s most successful releases in 2011, the beautiful Just Lay Back EP. His approach is also deep, with slower tempo, hypnotic synths, deep bass, smooth chords and an infectious groove that will make sure you are locked on the dancefloor!

Sergey Suokas is forging an excellent reputation for himself. Hot on the heel of his Muna EP for Multivitamins comes this impressive EP for Metroline.
Lost is what minimal techno really should be - a few basic elements thoughtfully combined. The groove is so tight that the addition of a simple clap changes the dynamic of the track entirely. The three-note synth line is subtle but disorientating, but you realise how powerful it is when it's gone.
Jorge Savoretti's remix emphasises the solid structure and adds a little Argentinian flavour with big spring-loaded claps that sit right in the front of the mix. As you would expect from Savoretti, it's not quite as simple as seems... every sound in there evolves almost imperceptibly as the track progresses.
Listening to Shivers is like being chased through a dark forest at night. It's tense, pacey and full of nervous little noises that keep you on your toes. It has a sense of urgency that gets your heart beating that little faster.
Tracklist:
A1. Lost
B1. Lost (Jorge Savoretti Remix)
B2. Shivers

More sinister mind-fuckery from Mike Wall on Metroline. His second release on the label comes as a four-track vinyl EP, with an additional four tracks available to download. This bumper pack includes mixes from Franco Cinelli, James Venturi and Karel Jadransky. The title track, Vacuum Packed, is a subaqueous bass monster punctuated by whipcrack claps and ominous synth stabs. The rumble of the bass and kicks is so intense that all it takes is one, perfectly placed sample to break the tension. Who ever thought you could use a clap to clean your brain? Franco Cinelli’s remix of Vacuum Packed is a stripped down, simplified variation on the theme. Where the original relies on reverb-heavy percussion to cut through the mix, Cinelli uses good old fashioned motor city pads to build an atmosphere before letting fly with a gorgeous percussion groove. This track sits comfortably in the middle ground between Vince Watson and Audion. And just because you’ll be left wanting more, Cinelli has provided a bonus tripmix, building on the theme, which is available to download along with the release. Los Pagos demonstrates Mike signatures mix of both fragile and robust rhythmical elements. A loose, growling bassline is kept under control by metronomic hats and mechanical claps and snares. Meanwhile percussion rolls, and fizzes around the main body of the track, giving it a rich and detailed texture. The Elon remix of Los Pagos is, in many ways the opposite A gargantuan bassline and solid kicks underpin a whirlwind of samples, percussion that expands from simple, pounding tribal rhythm into a cerebellum-melting brew.

We love a bass monster, and between them Dani Casarano and Felipe Valenzuela have delivered a particularly fierce one in the shape of Never Die. Immense kicks bound and leap through a beautifully deep, rich bassline. Over the top, a whole jungle of exotic insectoid clicks and whirs compete for attention and a beautiful, catchy little synth lines keep things moving forward nicely. A pounding, and truly exhilarating, track. Between Hours dives deeper. The lively, unpredictable percussion is there, but the track really takes its inspiration from the likes of King Britt and Theo Parrish. A simple house piano riff and smooth vocal snatches flow through the mix, creating a smooth, emotional yet driving, techy tune.
The Nekes remix of Never Die is a straight jacking blend of simple in-your-face percussion and powerful driving bass rhythm. It's got an energy and a drive that sounds like it might have been hammered out in one furious seven-minute session. Complex breaks cut through now and then - echos of the original's elaborate soundscape weaving in and out of Nekes' powerful, metronomic take. Rounding things off on this EP is the reverb-soaked, shaker-fueled Levantate. Seemingly disparate percussive elements combine to create a coherent, driving rhythm. Motor City pads duck and weave through the mix, with all elements pulling together to give the track an extraordinary momentum and drive. Definitely in the groove
Tracklist:
A1. Never Die
A2. Between Hours
B1. Never Die (Nekes Remix)
B2. Levantate featuring Jose Elias
