Next up on Crosstown Rebels offshoot label RebelLION is London-based producer Tim Green, showcasing his range with an EP crossing disco with deep house grooves. A-side ‘Cherry’ is Tim’s own twist on the disco sound paired with a deeper vibe and pitched-down tempo. The rhythmic cowbells, infectious R&B vocal stylings and swinging groove are pure summer funkiness. On the flip, ‘Swamp Girl’ is a quirky houser, with popping synths, old school vocal bits and a cheeky bounce.

Tim Green returns to Cocoon with his atmospheric and emotive album titled 'Her Future Ghost'. Surprisingly, after all this time, this is his first ever album in his career. An 11-track production following the producer's recent vinyl EP titled 'Echo / They Want Us To Fall Down.'
Tracklisting:
CD
1. New Life
2. He Future Ghost
3. Colliding
4. The Opera
5. Echo
6. The Incident
7. Evaded
8. Same Life
9. They Want Us To Fall Down
10. He Fell
Embracing the album format's full potential, Tim Green's 'Her Future Ghost' is effectively composed similarly to an electronic romantic film soundtrack:
"My concept and direction for "Her Future Ghost" was to write a film score for a film that doesn't actually exist." says Tim. "As an avid film score lover, I wanted to create a body of work that took certain traits from common film score practices. For example different themes that repeat throughout, like character themes that evolve and mutate. As well as a narrative and story that develops through the music. In my mind the story is set in the future, based around 2 people, a couple. It based on another planet, a planet so distorted and corrupted in comparison to the world we know now. Essentially they are trying to flee and stay alive in a future society where it is impossible to stay under the radar, where they have to go to extreme lengths not be caught and put into the same system and society as everyone else on this planet."
The album concept was further influenced by the work of Ahmed Emad Eldin, an Egyptian digital artist who is best known for his design on Pink Floyd's 2014 album 'The Endless River'. Tim reached out personally to the artist, and the two collaborated on the cover art for 'Her Future Ghost' - making this an even more cohesively creative, tailor-made release.
Tim first made his production debut on four:twenty in 2006, going on to release on Dirtybird and Get Physical, before Cocoon tapped the young producer for his first EP on the label in 2011. Whilst the prolific studio head has continued to experiment on other respected labels such as Lee Burridge's Get Weird label and Cityfox, Cocoon and Sven Vath have helped Tim's productions reach the biggest dancefloors in Ibiza and across the globe - so it's fitting he returns to this dance institution for his debut album.
A fiery live DJ, Green has been tapped by Sven Vath to play at Cocoon events around the globe (Amnesia Ibiza, Dockyard Festival, Mysteryland, Parookaville, off Sonar showcase at Pacha Barcelona) as well as solo at some of the world's most respected clubs; Panorama Bar, WOMB Tokyo, Fabric London and Rex in Paris to name just a few.
Whilst Tim Green's prowess at moving dancefloors was never in question, the release of 'Her Future Ghost' shows the talented producer spreading his wings and pushing himself to fulfill his creative potential - this is just the beginning of a new and exciting chapter of Green's career.

Tim Green - They Want Us To Fall Down
Tracklist: 1. (A1) Echo 2. (B1) They Want Us To Fall Down
Short info:
Tim Green will be returning to Cocoon for his first release on the label since March 2016, with an atmospheric new dual single. 'Echo/They Want Us To Fall Down' is the first single from his forthcoming debut album and is set for release on 26th March, out on vinyl as an album teaser. A cinematic production offering heavy shades of emotion, led by deep chords and rattling percussive sweeps, the release precedes Tim's debut album 'Her Future Ghost'. Set for release in April, the single is a teaser of what is to come from the expectation-defying producer.
Tim first made his production debut on four:twenty in 2006, going on to release on Dirtybird and Get Physical before Cocoon tapped the young producer for his first EP on the label in 2011. Clad with loop pedals and menacing synths, 'Echo/They Want Us To Fall Down' embodies TimGreen's approach as a fiery live DJ; he's been tapped by Sven Vath to play at Cocoon events around the globe (Amnesia Ibiza, Dockyard Festival, Mysteryland, Parookaville, off Sonar showcase at Pacha Barcelona) as well as solo at some of the world's most respected clubs; Panorama Bar, WOMB Tokyo, Fabric London and Rex in Paris to name just a few. Now an internationally established and respected name, the release of 'Echo/They Want Us To Fall Down' is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Tim Green's career.

tim green - For A (Distant) Memory
Tim Green is back with another brace of high impact club tunes of the sort that have made him one of the most in demand producers of the day. Whether serving up rolling techno treats for Cocoon, essential mixes for the Body Language series on Get Physical or laying down compelling club sets in the DJ booth, Brit Tim Green is unstoppable right now. Here he steps up to the Get Weird imprint with two more tantalising cuts that show just how broad and brilliant an artist he is. Stirring opener ‘For A Memory’ is eleven minutes of wordless and intoxicating female vocals, slick rubbery drums and plunging bass. The overall effect is hypnotic, rolling and perfectly groovy, and it will no doubt have whole dancefloors locked under its spell. Some little melodic explosions, sweeping filters and luscious pads all help add a real air of grace to proceedings that mark it out as another classic from Green. ‘For A Distant Memory’ is a subtle but noteworthy reworking of the same cut. In this one, the drums are less direct and more stripped back, there is a focus on the angelic, glowing pads and on spine tingling slices of synth that are reflective and emotive as they drop in and out. It is a perfectly trance inducing, heart warming cut that the likes of Lee Burridge at his All Day I Dream parties, or various DJs playing on a sun kissed terrace around the globe, will all lap right up.

Tim Green - Tim Green - Only Time Remains

Tim Green - Junge Junge - Beautiful Girl (Tim Green remix)
Tracklist:
A Tim Green - Only Time Remains, B Junge Junge feat. Kyle Pearce - Beautiful Girl (Tim Green Remix)
Short info:
Ahead of the release of his highly anticipated Body Language mix for the famed Get Physical series, top drawer producer and selector Tim Green offers up two exclusive tracks from it - one original, and one remix.
Over the last decade Green has put his midas touch to a stream of scintillating and powerful club tracks, releasing through labels such as Cocoon, My Favorite Robot, Dirtybird and Get Physical. As a remixer he has been in constant demand, lending his musicianship and production magic to the likes of Friendly Fires, Cassius, Seth Troxler & Kidnap Kid. Away from the studio and out on the road Green has proved himself to be a unique DJ talent whose broad reaching selections draw from the full gamut of electronic music and have wowed crowds from Fabric (London) to Space (Ibiza), Womb (Tokyo) to Watergate (Berlin). He has always offered up a genuinely varied and compelling sound that is truly devastating on the floor and these two tracks both prove that once again.
Up first is Green's own fantastic original, 'Only Time Remains.' It finds the artist is melodic mood, with his seductive, rolling beats all overlaid with churchy chords and grand atmospheres that really are epic and absorbing. The bass, too, is big and bold and angelic vocals lend a hypnotic feel to the irresistible groove.
The remix of Junge Junge's 'Beautiful Girl' featuring Kyle Pearce shows Green adding his own unique flavours to the track. The result is a tantalising nine minute affair that slowly unfolds and sucks you deep into Green's spacious and grand world of smeared pads, tender melodies and subtly rising vocals that are emotive, dreamy and spaced out.
This is a great showcase of Green's skills and a fine taster of the full compilation that is to come.

Tracklist: (A1) Among Wolves (B1) Over The Water
Info:
Tim Green is back and presents his 3rd release for Cocoon Recordings. With the two predecessors in mind these three records make a really cool trilogy as all of them are ultra deep, electronic, emotional and (again) perfectly programmed! "Among Wolves" follows the typical Tim Green formular with this highly musical way of combining surpreme beats and massive basslines with deep melodies. This is music, this is art and this story telling with sounds. "Among Wolves" is one of Greens most dramatic productions so far and it will for sure take you on a trip while getting lost on the floor.
"Over The Water" appears a bit more relaxed however it doesn't leave the emotional and dramatic corner. If you are bored of all those simple and loop-based toolhouse productions you'll definitely find something touching and interesting here. Tim Green prooves again that he is the uncrowned master of electronic music if it comes to deep and emotional productions. Something to feed your brain, your body and your soul. Something to get lost to and something to stand out for sure!

Info:
Tim Green turned to one of our main players here at Cocoon Recordings as he is looking at his fifth release with this one already. Well done chap! This means that Green is one of the few artists that reflects the sound of the label like only a few out others there: Minimal Techno with the right amount of energy but not too cold and spiced up with fat basslines and manic synths to burn down every floor, that is Mr. Green in full effect! London based Green seems to be the master of that typical sound we are focusing at. His top notch musical output is full of energy and features colourful melodies and sounds. He composes like a painter paints, layer by layer and all on a solid and perfect base. Green creates his tunes with a big musical potential but manages it to keep the balance right without being too melodic or even over intelectual. His acoustic paintings are fat and they appear heavy and perfectly designed. They communicate straight and clear. Green is the fighter against simple and boring loop arrangements with dodgy one note basslines. His music is food for dancers and listeners at the same time - and both in perfection. Greens new release for Cocoon is no exception to this and follows that formular: "Eclipse" and "Thieves" are big productions with massive melody parts packed in a minimal cover. His beats and bass-programing are on spot and make his composition complete. This ep appears super heavy and colourful and just perfect. This is the right sound for all those upcoming open air festivals, hedonistic music in a sentimental mood that just makes us wanna dance - bring it on Mr. Green!

Tracklist: (A1) Don't Like Me (B1) Humming Syrup
A busy year is about to end for Cocoon Recordings. We proudly look back to some of the highlights on Cocoon Recordings such as our 100th anniversary release compilation or the last Minilogue album. Not to forget the amazing remix by Adam Port for Daniel Stefanik and last but not least our new artist signings Coyu from Barcelona and Julien Bracht from Frankfurt. The last one of a string of fine releases will come from London based Tim Green. Master Green released on labels like Four:Twenty, Get Physical or Dirty Bird over the last years. His new Cocoon production will be his third one for us which almost makes us his new musical homebase. With "Don't Like Me" Tim Green presents almost a collage of the current sound of Cocoon Recordings. One can feel the funkyness of producers like Adam Port here and the deepness of names like Julien Bracht at the same time. You also have the pushing and energetic vibe of producers like Harvey McKay in here, too. And for everybody who wants it more crazy and spaced-out Tim Green gives you "Humming Syrup" on the flipside. Although outfitted with a sweet name this tune is solid freaky business. The perfect track for all the freaks out there! We say good-bye 2013 with a nice melt-down of the sound of Cocoon in the year 2013. Tim Green serves the right desert to a long and delicious Cocoon Recordings 2013 meal and leaves us all with a satisfied smile on our faces.

After generating a serious amount of hype back in his breakthrough year of 2010 when taste making were falling over themselves to tip him for big things Tim Green has gone on to forge a reputation as one of the most innovative producers in the scene today with a series of productions that have propelled him into the upper ranks of the techno hierarchy. Now a globe-trotting artist in his own right, the young Londoner has decided to expand his portfolio with the undertaking new venture as he reveals plans for the launch of his new imprint, Disc Over. Billed as being" neoteric in concept", the idea behind the new label is to provide an exciting platform from which Tim will unleash some of his most colourful musical creations, and afford him the opportunity to be considerably more diverse in his musical output, showcasing a meticulously curated selection of work from up-and-comers and, of course, his peers. Set to be an extension of Tim's personality and current tastes, Disc Over promises to be a sound foundation for forward-thinking music as Tim explains 'My main reason for starting Disc Over is to give myself and others a solid platform to release new and interesting electronic music. It's aimed to be an extension to whatever sound or style that I am into, as an added reflection on my current tastes in music. Especially releasing music from a lot of new talent and good close friends, as well as music from myself that may not always fit into other labels sound or direction."

Tim Green, - Dodjo
25-year-old Tim Green from the South of England is well-known to the attentive observer of the electronic dance music scene: Besides releases on Get Physical, Trapez and Four:Twenty Recordings, he also gained a lot of attention with his contributions to the third Cocoon 10" vinyl ("Lone Rider") and the Cocoon Compilation I ("Exercise"). On his debut EP, Green presents the whole stylistic bandwidth that modern floorfillers can have. For almost ten minutes, "Lemon" oscillates between a full frontal percussion assault, fragmented Deep House vocals and Detroit-influenced harmonies, consequently setting the signs to 'summer'. The first track on the flipside, "Jimmy Rave Up", is a dark and pushing runner that impressively proves Green's wealth of variants once again. The trio is completed by "Dodjo", a track that forms a more than pleasing intersection between tropic Calypso sounds and machine-like strictness - an unforgettable track that will echo long after the year 2011, promised!

One to watch Ibellini makes an imprint with his brilliant debut ‘Wide Soul EP’ on Crosstown Rebels off-shoot RebelLion. Title track ‘Wide Soul’ is intensely mystifying with a deep bass, warbling synths and warmth flowing through the atmospherics. Following suit ‘I Dream Of Funk’ unfolds on a more uplifting tip with powerful melodies, solid groove and layered synths. On the B-side Desolat favourite Guti remixes ‘Wide Soul’ taking it deeper and more rolling for the early hours of the morning. Rounding off the EP ‘Milk & Honey’ is exactly the type of track you’d love to hear at BPM festival or Burning Man, luscious and hypnotic with plenty of grit and groove.

sis - breakers paradise
Horse whisperer by day and rhythm maker by night, Burak Sar aka SIS is next up on Crosstown’s deeper offshoot Rebellion - delivering an essential EP packed full of groove, expertly winding textures, unexpected kicks and turns and cinematic allusions. ‘Slider’ is a groovy, eternally evolving masterpiece while the rolling ‘Paspartou’ builds with suspense and plays with haunting melodies and switching tempos and ‘Breakers Paradise’ flips the style with a more voice and FX heavy, minimal framework. One of electronic music’s most prolific producers, DJs, and live acts SIS, shot into the limelight in 2008 with releases on Cecille and Ricardo Villalobos’ label Sei es Drum, which up until that point had only showcased Ricardo´s own productions. This well deserved wave of hype earned him the title of Groove Magazine’s no.1 producer and Raveline’s best newcomer award in 2008. Second artist album ‘Confidance’ arrived last year on Cocolino and charted the artist’s journey training as a horse whisperer while fully unleashing the wild and unbridled sonic energy SIS has become know for. SIS is no stranger to the Crosstown Rebels catalogue having delivered the first ever Rebellion release and then later the ‘Round Pen EP’ on Crosstown Rebels in the summer of 2012. Other massive club records have appeared on esteemed labels such as Cocoon, 8Bit, Connaisseur and Get Physical.

A firm favourite in the Rebellion camp, prolific producer Aidan Lavelle makes his third appearance on the imprint this time with the immense 'Direction EP', comprising of three outstanding big room tracks that will blow your mind. Powerful build ups and epic breakdowns will dominate the dancefloor while trippy FX, rolling grooves and deep tribal undertones will circulate the atmosphere with Aidan's vocoder enhanced vocals adding a real stand out element. All three tracks are to be played loud for full effect and maximum destruction on the dancefloor. Accomplished composer and producer, Aidan Lavelle has worked with a number of world-class artists including U.N.K.L.E Gorillaz, Ian Brown, Queens Of The Stone Age and Massive Attack. Having built up an illustrious body of work in television and film music, last May saw him take a step back into the realms of underground dance music with his debut solo release on Rebellion, the 'Tinnitus EP'. While also remixing for the likes of Layo & Bushwacka and Betoko, the highly successful 'Get Yourself EP' followed in December on Rebellion receiving huge support from the likes of Pete Tong on his Radio 1 show. Aidan´s releases are being heavily by a wide range of artists including James Holden, Richie Hawtin, Solomun, Nic Fancuilli, Sasha, Tiefschwarz and Mandy Aside from building up a busy touring schedule and playing alongside Damian Lazarus at the Rebellion Rave in London and the Crosstown Rebel's Warehouse Project date in Manchester last year, Aidan is also working on a solo album under the name Modal, whilst continuing to create sound design and score for film and planning more underground dance music releases and remixes.

Capturing the essence of Crosstown Rebels Robot Rebel Heart experience at Burning Man, DAVI’s selection of deep melodic odysseys for Rebellion are awash with the other-worldly magic of the Playa. A-side ‘Rebel Heart’ fuses ancient Eastern melodies with moody bass and mystical arrangements. Second track ‘Anunnaki’ (a name denoting a group of deities in ancient Mesopotamian cultures) continues the theme of spellbinding, earthy tones and on the remix, Hot Creations Mark Jenkyns toughens up ‘Rebel Heart’ with a squelchy acid-flecked bassline, solid kicks and overlays of his own wonky synth structures. Last but not least the masterstroke ‘Two Suns In The Sky’ hypnotises the soul with rolling drum beats and epic chords as waves of spooky energy and polyrhythms punctuate the cosmic sunrise soundscape.

DJ W!LD is back, this time on Crosstown offshoot Rebellion with a stomping summer anthem featuring Cari Golden on vocals ‘Shape U’. The original fuses the solid punch of a club weapon with the laidback feel of poolside disco, while the Fur Coat Remake gives the track an entirely different sheen all chugging disco bass-line, dark synths and pitched down vocals. An aptly named WILDER remix and dub from the producer ties up an unmissable EP. The prolific DJ W!LD is one of France’s longest serving underground house heroes. As part of the Cocoon family and as a Circo Loco resident, DJ W!LD under various aliases has released on labels such as OFF Recordings, Robsoul, and his own imprints Catwash Records and W including debut album ‘Palace’ in 2011. Second album ‘D!RTY’ landed on Cabin Fever last year. Originally from Dijon, W!LD’s passion for graffiti, street culture, disco, funk and hip hop led him into DJing, taking his name from cult 1983 film Wild Style. Relocating to Paris in 1996, DJ W!LD was instrumental in the French house scene, pouring his energies into the city’s underground club community and later becoming a globally successful artist and fixture at the best international clubs and festivals. Fur Coat have been blazing a trail since their mighty debut album in 2012 on Crosstown Rebels ‘Mind Over Matter’ also featuring Cari Golden on vocals on the massive hit ‘You And I’. The fast-rising Venezuelan duo have been remixed by TEED and have a single forthcoming on Crosstown.

Siopis, - Master Plan
Next up on Crosstown Rebels clandestine off-shoot label Rebellion is the dexterous and versatile producer behind latest alias, SIOPIS. Adorning the ‘Master Plan’ EP with a far murkier quality than previous works as Silversurfer, the SIOPIS sound is destined for the darker recesses of the club. Comprised of three superlative cuts, the tone of the ‘Master Plan’ EP is set with a blend of lingering vocals, punchy basslines and moody undertones. A-side ‘Master Plan’ leads the way with its haunting vocals, layered over a howling bassline as the synths build with intensity.
Flip over to the B-side and it’s all swagger with ‘Buy Underground’s’ tough bassline stabs, mingling with warped synths as the track breaks down into trippy spaced out FX before a killer drop. ‘House of Mouse’ feat. Mz Sunday & Bootslap delivers growling sub-bass and grimy beats under nimble keys and skittish bleeps while a sinister male vocal is contested by a sweeter female voice and trippier fx perpetuates the menacing mood. Aidan Lavelle, - Get Yourself
Back once again on Crosstown’s wayward younger brother Rebellion, Aidan Lavelle delivers another three superb cuts of timeless dance music featuring his own haunting live vocals and epic tribal grooves – a hybrid of techno styles with deep and moody undertones. Title track ‘Get Yourself’ builds with solid claps and humming bass tones leading upcto a break where Aidan’s pitched down vocal winds its dark path into the mix along with the murky bassline and off-key echoing bleeps and chimes. A master of sonic layers, Aidan sets the tone of the EP here with striking lyrics, chugging groove and sharp shooting synths. ‘Abyss’ is a more urgent floor burner with plenty of tension and mood, swirling, spooky overlapping melodies and the effect of spiraling into darkness. Hidden away as B2 you have another worthy lead track, ‘Unreal’. Major rave appeal exudes from the main riff of off-kilter chimes punching through the solid groove and building up throughout weaved into epic synths. Aidan’s gothic voice remains a beguiling force. Prolific composer and producer, Aidan Lavelle (brother to James) has worked with a number of world-class artists including U.N.K.K.L.E Gorillaz, Ian Brown, Queens Of The Stone Age and Massive Attack. Having since built up an illustrious body of work in television and film music, debut solo release on Rebellion ‘Tinnitus EP’ back in May firmly marked Aidan’s return to underground dance music. The ‘Get Yourself EP’ is further evidence of the solo producer’s magnanimous style.

Francesca Lombardo, - Eyes
2
Francesca Lombardo, Julien Riachi, - Wander and Wonder
After her incredible Changes EP on Crosstown Rebels earlier this year, new lady of house Francesca Lombardo continues to impress this time through the Rebellion arm of the enterprise with her Eyes of Nature EP. ‘Eyes’ is first up and opens with a slick percussive grove characterised by lots of organic elements coalescing to paint a mesmerising, ritualistic picture. Bells, shakers and cymbals rattle and echo while deep haunting synths climb and fall to create a real sense of drama. Francesca utilises her vocal training to devastating effect intermittently throughout the track, panning her own heavily FX'd vocals across the mix further adding to the suspense. On the flip and Julien Riachi’s vocal and a tabla drum riff set the tone on ‘Wander and Wonder’ before an ever returning woodblock melody signals the arrival of a killer baseline which takes the track straight to the dance floor. Exquisite production skills ensure that sonically and elementally the track is constantly going somewhere, whilst Lombardo's classically trained ear ensures that she can effortlessly make perfect musical sense of all the different parts within her tracks. With Halloween just around the corner, this release will definitely be heard at a few spooky soirees across the globe...

Enki, - Tim Burton Abduction
2
Enki, - From Another Planet
The clue is in the title of the release from new Rebellion signing Enki. A double odyssey of spiraling trippy grooves, 'Tim Burton Abduction' is all spooky FX, organs and dense rolling percussion a superb slice of heady tripped out infectious techno that is going down a storm with the Rebels crew this summer!! A self-professed master of magic and exorcism, French born Enki is certainly a young talent with a distinctively dreamlike quality to his music. Seemingly unperturbed or influenced by the current populist dancefloor, Rebellion has found a perfect contributor to its off-centre catalogue of cavernous late night sounds as Enki offers up his debut and what he calls "Alien House and Cosmic Techno", conceived to make people dance naked under the full moon. A-side 'Tim Burton Abduction' is a treat for the senses – a purely hypnotic groove that unravels and builds in a glitchy outer space framework of chimes, claps, bells and bleeps. As the gentle kick enters the mix, the grip of the groove is tighter still as the sci-fi FX and abstract organ melodies merge with the intricate percussive patterns. On the flip, 'From Another Planet' weaves strange melodies in another spellbinding setting. Big on atmosphere and rhythm, the sub bass creeps in and takes the tracker to a deeper place as soaring electronic harps and abstract keys work into the fluid ethereal groove and the drama builds. Off-kilter, dark and absorbing, Enki's debut is another reason to watch the French underground and a fine example of Rebellion's leftfield imagination.

Tim Xavier, - Arco Della Devozione
The RebelLION imprint, younger sibling to the firmly established underground leader Crosstown Rebels, has reached its 10th release as the daddy label edges towards its tenth year and 100th release! Nurturing the more leftfield club music catching the radar of Damian Lazarus, RebelLION next delivers the creative juices from American heavyweight Tim Xavier with the driving, tribal masterstroke ‘Arco della Devozione’. Loved and respected by many, Tim Xavier’s passionate personality and lifestyle have kept him at the forefront of the techno scene since his first releases almost a decade ago. On the stage Tim is known for his undeniable talent as a once-hard techno mixer turned minimal trend-setter but behind the scenes, the expert sound engineer and key artist for the fast-rising imprint Clink Music, runs a highly successful mastering company based in Berlin. Also working with Tony Rohr as one half of The Afternoon Coffee Boys, Tim’s production style overflows with maturity and fluent simplicity and the results are always deep, dark and emotional. This RebelLION installment is no different. The ‘Main Prime Time’ mix of ‘Arco della Devozione’ is a deep and brooding tribal roller nestled in a dense and dubby sound bed of rich percussion, distorting bass and howling sonic winds. As the disembodied vocals descend and echo through the pulsing beats, the atmosphere drives into murkier waters. On the alternative mixes, the ‘Paint-The-Sky-Dub’ lends a heavy dose of sub-bass and wonky FX while the ‘Dub Version’ allows the track to throb unbounded by the shuddering voices - a magnificent weapon for any DJ wanting to inject some freakiness into the dancefloor.

Zod is the new project from Rebels boss Damian Lazarus and James What. Debut warped production 'Rise Before Zod' is about to land on Rebellion with a diverse duo of remixes from Acid Pauli and Shadow Dancer. The original 'Rise Before Zod' is a psychedelic trip into dubby sounds that come from deep in the jungle, held together by a killer groove. Dark and groovy, it's the first brainchild from two producers with a proclivity for the left of centre. Paul and Al Farrier aka Shadow Dancer step up for the first remix. Signed to Boyz Noize, the pair injects a heavy dose of uplifting synth lasers, rave stabs and lick of acid, taking the track from the cave to neon club. With the Acid Pauli installment it's back to nature with tribal rhythms, electronic droplets and sparse arrangements that build into a richly padded sound bed of bass, strings and drums. One of Damian's all time favourite DJs, Acid Pauli was a resident at Bar25 in Berlin and is currently preparing his debut artist album for Clown & Sunset, out later this year.

Second release on the hot new RebelLION label. After SIS’s monstrous ‘Gallian’ release Solomun delivers another knock out blow in the Sonics with a heavy weight slab of electric moon groove. Pan-rattling percussion and a bass funkier than a trunk of funk underpins the stupendously catchy and incessant vocal licks, and then there’s the guitar.. oh my god, does it get any better than this? On the flip Parisian funkateer D’Julz hikes the tempo and kicks the groove headway into the bass bins as its heads down for some serious dancefloor action. A great second package on this rebellious new label! Please note this is a limited release, so get these hot puppies whilst you can.
