As we journey on with part two of the States of Bliss project. Opening we have a reminiscent moment with “NY”. A snapshot of early BJC which was remixed for 2014’s cult classic “Selected Compiled By Fred P”. Then we move on to a more ambient affair of the trance inducing “Awakening Desire” an example of celestial electronica at its finest. Closing part two is the trippy jazz fusion house sound Private Society has been spearheading for a of couple of years now, “High Fusion” is a none stop ride into galactic ascension that has been moving festivals from the UK to India. States Of Bliss’ is the next album by Fred P, his third full length in the last year, following ‘Oasis’ and ‘Abstract Soul’ and the most expansive of the three. Produced on the move in hotels and airports, as well as Fred's studio in Berlin, ‘States Of Bliss’ is described by Fred as “a collection of musical imaginations that truly inspire one to actions of positivity and balance, incorporating a range of emotive moods to create an environment for expansion within a sonic structure.”

Within the two parts States Of Bliss becomes a musical landscape spanning dance floor grooves such as ‘In The Flow’ with a vocal sample by Cassy, to the psychedelic acid jazz of ‘Live Your way’ moving into the meditative ambient goodness of ‘Awakening Desire’. There’s also the jazz track ‘NY’ recorded in 2012 that was remixed for the legendary "Selected" compilation. Starting with “Vol. 3: Music Is For The People;” an original Black Jazz Consortium track appearing on this EP as a Fred P Reshape. This one is accompanied by a reprise with an afro latin vibe that takes the tune into another realm. The B Side travels into more eclectic fusion as Fred goes deeper in to electronic hybrids. Good Vibration, a piano driven track, leads you to a peak feeling good and the mood evaluates through out going into over drive mid way with a dazzling solo by Slikk Tim. Closing out on Vol.3 is the track Profound Science hails back Fred P’s early days of visualization and preparations for what is a successful musical journey. Profound Science is lyrically forward with a baseline that describes determination; it is a rally for manifesting your future in the now.

Also renowned for his musical offerings as Black Jazz Consortium, the New York-bred, Berlin-based producer is accredited with over 100 releases, all instantly recognisable given their warmth, depth and modesty. Seven years after his last LP on Alpha House, Argentina’s Franco Cinelli has finished his next full length, All Frequencies, due for release on Esperanza in May 2014. Over the course of the last 15 years, Cinelli has released countless EPs on labels like Bass Culture, AirDrop and Ilian Tape and has proven himself to be a master of the groove, be it a house, techno or disco infected one. This new album encapsulates all that and channels his decades of musical experience into one album that has the dance floor as a common denominator. Disco, funk, house, techno, soul, dub, hypnosis, technology, love and peace are among the constant frequencies that permeate this album and make it such a compelling proposition. No time is wasted in getting down to business and opener ‘I Feel It’ pairs classic house percussion with heavy kick drums before playing with various filters, chucking in bleepy melodies and nice organic human voices. It’s an immediately arresting house track that leads on to the firmly rooted beats of ‘Chi-Trax’. This one is run through with some fine and pixelated synths, chattery claps and icy techno hi hats and it really makes you move. Form there the likes of ‘Cargo’ is built from some nicely rough edged sounding loops and ravey chord stabs, ‘Infiltrate’ drops into a much more subliminal and deeper techno groove and ‘Slippery Arp’ plays with a dynamic synth line that bubbles and boils up and down through the mix and take you with it every step of the way. Finally, there is also digital bonus track ‘Deep Forest’, a serene and emotive techno jam that is more about mind meditation and widescreen synths than it is sweaty dancefloors. It’s a beautiful way to end an album that is full of memorable moments and cultured but club-ready dynamite.

Esperanza´s 25th release comes from labels boss Kasper. Been this his third solo release on the label and the second of his Dope Beats series, on the A side we have the Art of Rebellion, a deep burner with some disco infused sounds all over the place. The track builds up around a heavy bass sample filtered in and out from start to beginning. B side, The Dreamer, is just yet another example of Kaspers love for the classic sounds. Wonderboy Franco Cinelli is back on track with "Keep On". A groovy funkalicious track featuring typical Cinelli's percussion and drive mixed with a perfect little dose of disco. To remix such a wonderful original track we needed to go back to the roots and invite Mr. Boo Williams and Mr. Glenn Underground who delivered us an exquisite latin jazz infused piece of music (we can't call this House because it goes much further).
