Metalogic grows into an Agenda release following their ADDON success. Fred Hatsav(Boshke Beats) teams with Toronto DJ Jamie Kidd to create the new Metalogic sound. Molding with the methods of labels like Clink,GetPhys, mixed with the great energy this 4 track EP thumps with peculiar low end and a secret energy that is best found released through a dynamic sound system. All four tracks are entities in themselves as well as amazing tools. Support from Perc, Someone Else, Alex Bau, Alessio Mereu, Dietrich Schoenemann

Frederik Hatsav (aka METALOGIC) is a Toronto based dj and producer. Since 2000, Fred has released work on several different labels, as well as a full length album on his home label Boshke Beats Records (home to Midimiliz - Extrawelt, The Rockitmen, Fuzzion and X-Dream). He is also known for "The Rockitmen", a collaboration with Alex Tolstey, the man behind Boshke Beats Records. For his latest work, Fred has teamed up with Toronto's hottest underground dj and musician, Jamie Kidd. Together Fred and Jamie produce a fresh driving sound, cut with a growling undertone that leaves you feeling like you've been properly assualted on the dancefloor. Title cut Atom Eater is a bass monster. An 808 throb fills the mix along with a mixture of stabs and percussive loops. Hidden Reveal keeps the ultra low bass tones with more synth movements featuring effect tricktery.

Veteran of Mexico's techno scene and years of pushing innovating and non-conforming concepts, Luis has developed his own production style that is precise and hypnotic with a healthy degree of dance floor groove. His first release on Droid Recordings was enthusiastically lauded and in put into heavy rotation by the likes of Chris Liebing and Speedy J. Already he is gaining momentum with interest from DJ heavyweights and international tours in Europe, China, the U.S. and elsewhere.

ew team of Dietrich and Frederik Hatsav aka Metalogic churn out a dynamic two tracker of prime time techno cuts. Recorded at the Tower in Toronto while fighting back the urges of other North Americans to desert while relocating to Berlin. 'No Scarf' thumps as it quickly builds to percussive layers and colliding bass frequencies. The break is dynamic if not pure dynamite. Already in the playlists of top jocks-Adam Beyer, Christian Smith, Perc, more

The original Hidden Agenda duo reappear for a three track EP of bass funking beats. 'Copy' rumbles in the same mode as HA027 'Deleter of the Pack' and is packed with synth layers. This track spent time in both artists editing session before it was ready for release. Already a featured cut in Adam Beyer DJ sets. 'Paste' began as a private cut only being used in live/DJ sets by Rohr/Schoenemann. Old formula 303+808 is the basis, however this is far from retro. The 303 climbs backwards like a drunken sailor. Magic.'Repeat' is the epic battle of bass vs hand claps. Thick bass bites carry the tune and the grooves swing. This one throbs.

New artists to the label Alex Bau(CLR/Zenit) and Marco Polo (Toneaman) team up as the Gordon blue Orchestra. The long player is a mix of dirty room techno and minimal manipulation. Mood swings all the while pumping the bass and keeping the energy flow steady. A twisted attack for the massive. Bau’s mix of ‘Empty Plate’ is pure prime time. The groove rocks the floor with basshits and nervous drums. The mix is a greating mixing tool for all styles. Marco Polo’s mix strips it back to basics. The swingin’ jack rhythms highlight and the breakdowns peak perfectly. Full on minimal...maybe.

A throbbing minimal yet pumping 4 tracker of 808 laced cuts. 'Aerobits' grabs right away with the bass from the 808. Drum clicks are finely tuned and edited for your delight. The bouncing synths only accent the massive hole created. 'DonerFreq' is instant energy. Clap attacks snare and snare hits on the the electro toms. As if speaking the drums wait for the clouded bass to carry it further. Flip it over for 'Lockjob' and 'R3v3rs3r'. First track layers analog kick drum and thick shakers to build the base for an off-set rhythm. Swings it up. 'R3v3rs3r' is a flipped around edited chopped up workout. The main hooks pushes and the percussion does not relent.

The main cut is a monster. ‘Remix not a Remix’ begin as a mix for Infrastructure Records with sounds from Function and Kero. But it became more Rohr than Infrastructure and here it is. Funky minimal yet punching groove for the floors. Synth jerks and percussion dropoffs highlight this soon to be summer mainstay.

Dietrich Schoenemann returns to the fold with this new 12 on the Hidden Agenda label. Part One of "Tastes Like Maria" combines twisted analog synths, bubbling effects, and pulsing beats and bass for an electro-touched primetime techno gem. The version on the flipside goes for a deeper bassline, drops out the synths in flavor of some galloping acid lines whilst the beats are still driving enough to get the floor crowds moving.
