Released February 2017 on his own Ladies and Gentlemen imprint, Green Supreme is the fourth studio album from house music veteran Phonique: a collection of 11 remarkable songs from one of the scene's most revered producers. To describe Phonique as prolific would be something of an understatement. To date, he has amassed a discography of more than 500 original tracks and remixes - as well as three previous studio albums - for acclaimed labels such as Dessous, Poker Flat, Crosstown Rebels, Systematic, Souvenir and of course his own label Ladies and Gentlemen, a collection which includes some runaway successes. Despite working on Green Supreme, Phonique's fierce production rate has continued unabated in 2016, with highlights including 'T Groove' on Katermukke and his stunning remix of Frank & Friedrich 'Coming Home' which landed on Universal earlier this year. Phonique's three previous critically-acclaimed albums attest to his evolving sound and diverse influences, his deep knowledge of house music, and masterful attention to detail, all of which are further established with Green Supreme, arguably his most diverse and polished album to date. Throughout his career, Phonique has excelled in working with vocalists, a theme that continues with this collection. Tracks of note include the creepingly ominous deep tech of 'Something To Remember', on which Stee Downes delivers a phenomenal vocal, and 'Taking A Chance', a delicately melancholic deep house cut complete with sweeping synths and half-caught vocal samples.
"This is my most focussed album by far" say Phonique of the project. "An album should be a pleasure to listen to, even in five, ten, twenty years, so it can't just be a club beats for 60 minutes. I need vocals, warm melodies and stories.

Phonique‘s unique vision of house music is continued with the next exciting release on his ‚Ladies & Gentlemen‘ imprint. Serving as a teaser and a taster for the forthcoming ‚Time For House‘ album, this EP holds three new and exclusive cuts. The album will feature these three lovely numbers, plus more hot new material from Phonique, Tigerskin, Rubini and more. As the name suggests, ‚Time For House‘ is an open-armed welcome into the blissful, warm and groovy, timeless house sound of L & G! Dessous and Poker Flat key artist Vincenzo has his say on the A side, with a long extended cut that gently builds lashings of tension and early morning drama with its deep stabbing push and open, floating breaks. As if we were soaring on the airy breeze of a warm summer‘s evening, or raising our hands at an essential openair in Berlin, ‚Return of Sha‘ captures that super elated feeling perfectly. Vincenzo refines his sound once again, and marks a beautiful moment for the dancefloor, but also for more relaxed situations.
Fellow Berliner Tigerskin aka Dub Taylor aka Alex Krüger continues the summery, frozen-moment vibes with ‚Too Hot‘. Simple and classic synth hooks combine and layer to describe a chilled house jam that oozes positivity and good times. Well known for his many aliases and wide variety of production styles, this track will not disappoint the deephouse heads out there, but will also please fans of his impeccable sound design and tasteful melodic abilities. Belgium‘s Kolombo aka Olvier Gregoire sends off the B side in style with his captivating classic deep dancefloor house exploration named ‚Next Dream‘. Wonderful, organic house sentiments meet characteristic percussion in this wonderfully sequenced conclusion to the EP. Gregoire is by no means a newcomer, with countless releases and remixes under his belt, and the warmer-weather vibes of ‚Next Dream‘ works wonders as always!

Phonique‘s blossoming ‚Ladies & Gentlemen‘ imprint is still bringing things on strong with this, their latest release: a split EP that dances between finely strung House and rousing, electronic space-disco.
First up ‚Supercity‘ Essen‘s busiest activists, Modern Walker & Urban Absolutes team up for a powerhouse production session, coasting the glistening waves of electron-charged House music. ‚No Problem‘ is a instant and infectious club jam, with a melancholic synth hook that simply allows the listener to delve deeper into the mindset of this beautifully conceived, emotive music. Still keeping a warm feel, ‚No Problem‘ is a serious dancefloor weapon for peak time action. Next our proudly upstanding ‚Dancefloor Dude‘, Boris Fox of LG01 fame, comes back with a discolectric cut that melts genres and sounds together into one sweaty fire-pit of goodness! ‚Grey Inferno‘ is a cosmic tale of intergalactic voyages far and wide, and lost hours on the dancefloor! Closely working beats and synths grind in unison in this funked up piece of electronic mastery. Finally Croatian producer Ilija Rudman steps into the cosmic light as he remixes ‚Grey Inferno‘ in fine style, adding his electro-house edge and twisting the original into a full-on club friendly workout. Seldom does a track have such a story behind it as Kiloo & Phonique‘s ‚The Passion‘! It was three or four years ago in an online Deep-House forum that this warming tale began. Featured during a particularly on-form Laurent Garnier mix, came a track that immediately caused quite a stir. A who‘s who of Deep-House heads from Ame to Dixon were up in arms about this ‚phantom‘ track, that no-one could place. Could it be an old undiscovered rarity that they‘d all missed, or a new, unreleased, secret production...? Eventually, a track-listing was provided for Garnier‘s mix, and the artist was revealed to be the little-known but instantly respected ‚Kiloo‘ aka Pascal Saussac. Phonique‘s connection with the artist was forged after another of the newcomer‘s tracks, ‚The Game of Love‘, was signed to
the Parisian label ‘Plays Cool’. Having already been well respected on the French house scene, Phonique was asked to remix the track and so their relationship grew. Originally, ‚The Passion‘ was sent to Laurent Garnier‘s F-Comm imprint, but remained unsigned, and so for a long time it had no home, however Phonique always believed that it deserved a platform for release to the world. Now in 2008, this hit, four-years-in-the-making, has been completely re-recorded by Phonique and his studio partner Alex Krüger, and Kiloo‘s magical track is ready to start the message boards filling up once again!
For the remixes, we remain happily within the Deep-House genre, as first choice remixers Trickski, who supported the first two Ladies & Gentlemen releases in almost every set, maintain their ‚Members of the Trick‘ trademark style. They fill the role with a fine re-work that honours the original, and unfolds it into an intricately dubbed hypnotic journey. The second round of remix duties are beautifully fulfilled by long term pals Dplay and Manuel Tur. Originally part of those historic forum discussions years before, they have since risen through the ranks to become some of the most respected producers of the genre, releasing on labels such as Drumpoet, Freerange and Compost. Complete with a blissful piano breakdown, this confirms the fact that it will be hard to miss the ‚The Passion‘ this time!
