The EP opens with Late Night Runner. Atmospheric but with a tuff amen, it’s named after Ed, who’s notoriously on time, who was late to the session ;) Open Water was the most recent track we made. We wanted something a little deeper, a long intro, spaced out kind of vibe. The title track Force 32 is a direct nod to Phantom Force, gully horseman energy throughout! Closing things out is One Shot, which has been on dub for over a year - a rowdy jungle rinse out.

So finally they just “Did it
themselves! We are talking Wendell Harrison & The Tribe, Marcus Belgraves and Mad Mikes jazz mentor Robert “Bobby” Barnes and an even later inspiration Larry “Mr. Fingers” Heard. No better way to upset
and dethrone major record companies than to…….. start a movement that said “fuck you” to the commericial “Smooth Jazz” that was sucking innovation, experimentalism and the soul right out of Jazz and making it a household easy to digest pre-packaged PRODUCT!! This is the track that has influenced other hi-tech jazz groups and artists such as Timeline, Boulevard des Airs, Innerzone Orchestra, Jazzanova, Spiral Deluxe, Los Hermanos, Ian O’ Brian and many others. Dave Lee has spent decades refining the art of the remix, and Remixed With Love remains his most celebrated body of work and is widely regarded as the gold standard for disco reworks – created from original master tapes with the care, musicality and deep knowledge that only he can bring. Very few producers are trusted with material of this heritage; fewer still deliver results that become the definitive modern versions. For years, the original vinyl editions have been regularly fetching collector prices on the secondary market. Now, for the first time since those releases sold out, a brand-new vinyl-only edition brings together eight of the most requested mixes in one essential vinyl double pack. “Hà mar” represents the peak of the album’s organic spectrum—an instantly captivating melodic and percussive Brazilian song featuring Alvaro Lancellotti on guitar and vocals—while “White Light” serves as its electronic counterpart, with a classic pop feel, featuring Swedish singer Monica Tormell
Musically, “L’École de la nuit” moves across many different landscapes and languages, intersecting rock, shoegaze, ambient, electronica, and, of course, jazz. Gilb’R collaborates with a rich arsenal of guest musicians: saxophonist Quentin Rollet; guitarist and producer Maxime Delpierre; French artist Judah Warsky, with whom Gilb’R previously released an album; Jonny Nash, producer and guitarist; as well as Ben Shemie. Not least, father and son Julio and Julinho Pimentel contribute their distinctive percussion, alongside François Creamer on bass clarinet.

Shinichi Koboyashi’s music as Bot1500 has such a beautiful signature to it. Using the layers and language of ambient IDM, artfully arranged pads & chords and crisp vectored breaks, he’s been creating a beautiful and highly individual sound.
The Black Sea, His first album since 2022’s Surreal on AD93’s sister label Lith Dolina, spaces things out more and focuses inward with a palette of minimalism and increased emotional resonance. It’s been a focus for Shinichi across his self-published studio work in the last few years.
The album’s tracks feel increasingly rooted in the principles and logic of dub. Utilising more space, more silence, and more focus on the simplicity and elegance of the composition folded into radiant arrangements of melody, snare, shade and echo.
The sea is both an inner landscape and a geographic image that hangs over the record’s mood. A dark humid summer night, like that on Japanese coasts. A small boat sails aimlessly. An eerie tone, but with a glimpse of beauty. The water is melancholic, enveloping, and endless.
Each track is written at 140bpm save for last track “White Flocks” at 120, for the image of heading south to close out.
