John Howard - Clear Your Mind
Past Tense returns with a second helping of buried treasure: three previously unreleased tracks from 90s and early 2000s written by US legend John Howard. Made between two millenniums, these cuts blend house, techno, and tech house into a hypnotic, time-warped trip. How they stayed in the vault for over 20 years is anyone's guess.

Post Play - What I Meant To Tell You
Risk/Reward is the brainchild of New York based, London-born underground music scene veteran and Archivio Records owner Daniel Dutts. The label fuses leading contemporary artists, with iconic 90s producers to create a playful yet sophisticated sound, firmly focused on creating dance floor magic! The first EP showcases rising Philadelphia talents Post Play (Sweater & John Raffaele), whose previous excursion on Small Moves became a much sought after cult classic. Danger is what’s commonly known by DJs as a “sure thing”, guaranteed to get the most stubborn of crowds moving. A cheeky bass groove, quirky stabs, hip hop breaks and scratched vocals, create a vibe best described as “if DJ Premier made a track for Wiggle in the late 90s” Go blends vintage Nu Groove style NYC house with progressive and techy elements to create a unique dancefloor monster. warping speed garage style sub bass combines with punchy stabs, lush pads, trippy synth leads and skippy, swinging drums, creating an atmospheric but driving track, that keeps you guessing til the very end. Bushwacka! channels his Plank-era heyday to create a remix of Danger that delivers multiple “what the f#%k was that?” moments, as he takes you on a breakbeat voyage with crisp percussion, devastating low end, hypnotic ragga vocals and a didgeridoo no less! A reminder of the man’s genius and genre-defining sound. What I Meant To Tell You merges warm, J Dilla style sampled chords, with punchy 808s, a deep and warm bassline, dreamy pads and enchanting male/female call and response vocals. Perfect for a warm up or deep in the afters. With heavy support from the likes of Dyed Soundorom, Tini, Harry McCanna and more, the Post Play boys are ready to add another buy on sight record to their growing discography.

TRACKLIST:
Tracklist (Updated!)
A Robotman feat. Marshall Jefferson – Do Da Doo (Plastikman’s Acid House Mix)
B1 Robotman feat. Marshall Jefferson – Do Da Doo (Jamie Jones Remix)
B2 Robotman feat. Marshall Jefferson – Do Da Doo (DJ Minx Remix)
SHORT INFO:
Definitive Recordings reissues Plastikman's classic Acid House Mix of his own 'Do Da Doo' feat. Marshall Je?erson. Evergreen stars Jamie Jones and DJ Minx serve up their own new remixes.
First released in 1993, and now re-recorded with new vocals by Marshall Jefferson, techno mainstay Richie Hawtin dropped this tune under his Robotman alias. It became an instant underground classic and a cornerstone of the label's early catalogue, capturing Hawtin at a time of great innovation as he helped shape the next wave.
The A-Side features the original Plastikman Acid House Mix, spanning nearly 12 minutes of deep, hypnotic pressure. Classic 909 drums and a signature 303 bassline intertwine throughout. The acid line changes shape and texture from smooth to more prickly, and the percussion keeps dancers locked in for what is a truly mind-melting trip.
Remixer Jamie Jones is one of the most notable DJs and producers in the scene. His Hot Creations label and Paradise party are where he continues to explore the intersection of house and techno. This remix features his signature low-end bounce and futuristic tech house sound, complete with stark, laser-like synth lines and funky drum patterns. It's a warm sound designed to energise the club.
Next is Motor City guardian DJ Minx, who heads up the DJ collective 'Women on Wax' and has been an ambassador for Detroit house and techno around the world since the 90s. She dropped the underground minimal hit 'A Walk in the Park' on Hawtin's Minus label in 2004 and now comes full circle with this remix. She leans into deeper, more swung drums and shows knowing restraint by building freaky vocal fragments and lush chords that keep dancers locked in the groove.
Robotman feat. Marshall Jefferson's 'Do Da Doo' comes on Definitive Recordings on 21st August 2026.

2
D Wynn & The R-Tyme Production - B1. Use Me (U Turn Remix) (5:40)
3
D Wynn & The R-Tyme Production - B2. Funk N The Drums (6:34)
Moods & Grooves Records proudly announces Turn-A-Round, the long-awaited return of
D. Wynn & The R-Tyme Production. Marking his first release since 2002 on KMS
Records, D. Wynn reconnects with the deeply soulful Detroit sound that defined his
earlier work—timeless, emotive, and built for the dancefloor.
At the center of the release is “Love Ain’t Easy”, a heartfelt, soul-driven track featuring
vocals from Record Time favorite Lavell Williams. The song carries special significance
as Williams’ final known musical recording prior to his passing in 2018, giving the record
both emotional weight and historical importance. The EP also includes “Use Me (U Turn
Remix)”, a fresh take on R-Tyme’s most recognized work—previously reimagined by Carl
Craig—alongside “Funk N The Drums,” a raw, percussion-heavy cut driven by deep funk
and rhythmic intensity.
A foundational figure in Detroit’s electronic music movement, D. Wynn was instrumental
in shaping the culture as part of the legendary Music Institute era, alongside pioneers
such as Derrick May, Alton Miller, and Chez Damier. As one half of R-Tyme with Derrick
May, he helped deliver seminal recordings including “Use Me” and “Illusion/R-Theme” on
Transmat, leaving a lasting imprint on the global electronic music landscape.
This is more than a comeback. It’s a continuation of a legacy.

Mercurial Swede Axel Boman debuts on Aus Music with four spellbinding deep house beauties
Swedish artists pbeatgirl and Joakim Åhlund & Jockum Nordström feature on one track each
Axel Boman has brought playful charm to the underground for nearly two decades. His colourful, emotive sound marries melodic whimsy with warm, cuddly grooves and is underpinned by invention and experimentation in sound design, rhythm and mood. The Studio Barnhus co-founder is an artist who can make you laugh and cry at the same time, as continually shown across more than 20 EPs and four full-length albums on a tasteful array of labels. He strides into 2026 with a first EP for Aus that embodies everything that makes him easy to love and hard to pin down.
First up is 'Night Blooming' feat pbeatgirl - a provocative figure in Sweden's post-pop underground. The sensual late-night lullaby has soft drums and even softer spoken words whispered in your ear. Add in the dreamy synths, and you have perfect house hypnosis. 'Someone Stop Me' slows the tempo but ups the texture with raw, tumbling drum loops, incidental guitar licks and sustained pads that help you zone out and gaze into the distance on a summer's afternoon.
'Svalor Radiosignal (Axel's Dub)' features Joakim Åhlund, who is currently on tour of Australia with his band Les Big Byrd, and is also a guitarist and lead singer in the Caesars band he founded, as well as being a prolific producer. World-renowned multi-disciplinary artist Jockum Nordström works across painting, sculpture and collage and also features. There's a signature Boman innocence and charming naivety to the melodies here. They leave wispy, painterly trails above the smooth, dubby groove and fill you with warmth and comfort. Closer 'Spooky' journeys later into the night with a more rickety, edgy mood, but beautiful, shape-shifting synths are like a tender hand guiding you into darkness.
This is Axel Boman at his most intimate and expressive, a quietly powerful EP for heads-down moments and after-hours warmth.

The Nightlife finds Honey Dijon exploring the space between house music’s past, present, and future — blurring boundaries, bending conventions, and inviting an all-star cast of collaborators to help redefine what club culture sounds like for today. Rooted in the lineage of house yet never confined by it, the album moves effortlessly from sweat-soaked basement energy to lush strains of soul and R&B — and into unexpected spaces in between. It’s not a strictly house record; it’s an expression of nightlife itself: fearless, fluid, and in constant evolution. At once reverent and forward-looking, The Nightlife honors the foundations of the dancefloor while pushing its possibilities outward. It captures the communal pulse, the intimacy, and the transformative power that only music at night can hold. A love letter to the dancefloor.

Swiss powerhouse The 18th Parallel presents another slice of fine modern roots reggae! All Fruits Ripe is a heavyweight showcase album rooted in the foundations of reggae while firmly anchored in the present. Recorded between 2015 and 2025, the project brings together a powerful lineup of Jamaican vocalists — Micah Shemaiah, Keith Rowe (from rocksteady duet Keith & Tex), Rod Taylor, Var (Inna De Yard, Pentateuch), Hezron, and Itral Ites — each representing a different generation of conscious reggae music.
The album features six vocal cuts and five dub versions, highlighting both lyrical strength and sound system culture. Carefully mixed by master engineer Roberto Sánchez, All Fruits Ripe stands as a transnational reggae statement: Jamaican voices carried by a European band deeply connected to the roots with a profound respect for the culture that gave birth to reggae and dub. It features legendary guest Jamaican musicians Leroy ‘Horsemouth’ Wallace, Scully Simms, Dalton Browne, or Errol ‘Blacksteel’ Nicholson.
A mature and carefully crafted release where every track feels essential — like fruit finally ready to be harvested.
