808’s snapped, synths hissed, and basement energy reigned supreme. Across five tracks, L.D.F. links up
with a heavyweight group of collaborators: Javonntte, Gari Romalis, Tilman, and Böhm. The result is an
EP that feels like a dusty box of DAT tapes discovered in an old storage unit - raw, immediate, and locked
into the groove. A study in machine rhythm, analog imperfections, and the timeless swing that defined the
earliest iterations of house.
Crunchy 808s punch through the mix on You & Me as deep stabs flicker like neon in a fogged-out
warehouse. A syncopated analog bassline snakes beneath it all while Javonntte and Tilman’s touch
elevates the track into a proper late-night mover - raw but undeniably soulful.
Tribal Dance is a stripped-back, early-90s-house-inspired workout. Drum-machine sweat, looping
percussion rituals, and hypnotic patterns built for dark rooms with low ceilings. Pure basement energyminimal elements, maximum impact.
Flip over for The Freaks (feat. Böhm) where shuffling house drums and a gritty groove define the cut.
Simple, repeated stabs lock into a trance-like rhythm while subtle rave accents flash at the edges. Böhm
adds just the right shade of tension to keep dancers suspended in motion.
Next up we have In & Out (feat. Gari Romalis) which is a deeper roller draped in filtered pads and
chopped-up vocal fragments. The drums hit with Detroit-born precision while the atmosphere drifts

Originally released in 2006, Rendezvous is a rare, dub techno track released by Nao AKA DJ Compufunk from Compufunk Records in Osaka. Working under the name Lovegod for the first and only time, he created a timeless epic for a live set at the legendary, short-lived underground club "United Underground ??? (Tsurunoma)".
Now revived 20 years later by Richard Akingbehin’s Kynant Records, Priori contributes a dreamy rework and Janeret slows it down into a crisp dub version to complete the EP.

OK EG are a quietly influential force in electronic music, renowned for their masterful sound design, organic textures and meticulous arrangements. Forward thinking, always explorative and genre agnostic, the duo are at the leading edge of the Australian sound. Now entering the 10th year of their collaboration, Melbourne based producers Lauren Squire and Matthew Wilson have arrived with their own imprint called GEKO. GEKO is a platform for the duo to stretch out, freed from outside influences and in total control of the creative vision. This is high functioning dance music that bristles with confidence, expressed in vivid colour. Hypnotic, transportive and completely their own. The process is hybrid, analog machines connected directly to digital workflows. Two minds in sync.

Sasha & Super Flu join forces for electrifying new single, ‘Astra’. Last Night on Earth label head Sasha is proving to be as innovative as ever in the studio of late. The globally renowned producer and game-changing DJ continues exploring rich new musical ground while retaining his signature sense of melody, drama, and energy. He has also made his label an outlet renowned for its quality output and backs that up here with a new collaboration alongside Feliks Thielemann & Mathias Schwarz, better known as Super Flu. The German pair has a sound that knows no bounds and breaks all rules. They tinker with music-making gear, draw from diverse musical influences and are underground mainstays with an enviable discography on numerous key labels. The electrifying 'Astra' is awash with smart effects and filters that smudge and stretch a vocal over rising synth tension. The heavy drums jostle for your attention as the chord vamps twist and turn, ramping up the pressure as they go and building towards a dramatic breakdown. It locks you in the moment before setting off again on more tightly woven drums and synths. The Sasha Daydream Mix is a more blissed-out and late-night rework with shakers, floating drums and deft synth lines drifting about up top to soothing and atmospheric effect.
