Following his collaborative ‘Conscious’ EP alongside Rossko earlier this year, Per Hammar returns to FUSE sub-label Infuse with three more standout offerings this September. Swedish don Per Hammar has been turning out quality dub, house and techno with a dusty sense of atmosphere for more than a decade. In that time, he has established a number of his own labels including Dirty Hands and 10YEARS, while most recently founding De Vloer with Mandar member Malin Genie. Now firmly established as a key protagonist in the underground scene, the Berlin-based talent reasserts that position once more here as he returns to Infuse with his slick three-track ‘Side Effects’ EP. ‘Side Effects’ is a sublime 10-minute excursion into warm depths. Sustained pads drift in the distance as subtle percussion rolls in the foreground keep you locked, whilst soft-edged chords bring colour and soul and ensure this is a warm and hypnotic cut. Next, ‘Document Save’ is a more edgy affair with subtle synth details, samples and trippy pads all weaving in and out of the busy, fluttering drum line that keeps you on your toes. Last of all, ‘Remote Dubb’ is the most visceral on the EP: employing coarse synth textures and bustling drums that are expertly designed to enliven the ‘floor.

chamber-sounding ingredients. Argy’s take on the track is a timeless piece of dubby, stripped and
sparkling techno. Just as obvious as it is venturous.

Since I started to produce music in the mid 00's, I undoubtedly bought the idea of puzzling my productions into nice labels like a Tetris game. This "survival of the fittest" thinking has under the years resulted in a whole bunch of works that I made a strong connection to, but that no one else never got the chance to do, ending up in an empty folder. Parallelle & Nicolas Masseyeff return to Crosstown Rebels with dynamic new EP, ‘Shake It Out’. The trio deliver their third collaborative release on the label on 18th July 2025, backed by a standout remix from Airrica. Following their acclaimed collaborations ‘Renegade’ in 2023 and ‘Surrender’ in 2024, Parallelle and Nicolas Masseyeff return to Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels with a third instalment of their evolving partnership on the imprint. Titled ‘Shake It Out’, the release arrives in the heart of summer and showcases two original productions from the Dutch-French trio, alongside a vibrant remix from US rising star Airrica. Dutch brothers Parallelle and French mainstay Masseyeff share a deep-rooted musical connection, honed across years of collaboration and a shared love for expressive, forward-thinking electronic music. With past releases on labels such as DGTL, Systematic, Rose Avenue, and Masseyeff ’s own Diversions Music, the trio have built a sound that’s rich in detail and driven by emotion, combining analog warmth, live instrumentation, and club-ready energy in equal measure. A fusion of sharp production and live sensibility, ‘Shake It Out’ leads with layered drums, psychedelic stabs and a commanding vocal that urges listeners into motion. On the B-side, ‘Everything’ delivers a more stripped-back and introspective mood, with hazy textures and wonky sonics for the late hours. Joining the package is Airrica, making her return to Crosstown following 2024’s ‘Hi Speed Lover’. Her rework of ‘Shake It Out’ adds a new dimension to the original, dialling up the energy with crisp percussion, pulsing acid-dipped low-ends, and warped vocal treatments that inject a driving twist into the hypnotic groove.

House music doesn’t get much funkier than Demuir’s ‘New spirit’ EP. Whether it’s the classic sampling on the title track – an homage to his mother-, or the rolling funk bass and vocal chops on ‘Ain’t no stoppin’ ‘, Demuir brings an unstoppable groove with his 2nd release on Heist.
The man behind so many great house records has kept himself rather busy with building his own fanbase, openly debating the role that big platforms play and the firm grip they have on talent. Rather than conforming to the standard route, Demuir chooses to navigate the winding road of building his own following through his production classes, engineering and music releases through artist-first channels like Patreon.
His recent move from Toronto to Chicago feels perfectly in line with the sound Demuir is bringing forward on his first record on Heist since his 2019 classic ‘Werq, feel, gruv, vogue’. Those 6 years were well worth the wait: The ‘New spirit’ EP is a perfectly-balanced mix of creativity, confidence and character. The Demuir sound is instantly audible throughout the release and he’s not afraid to make bold choices. Each track has its own identity, its own place on the record and it’s one of the things that make this record stand out in the best way possible. The forward-leaning grooves, the tight mixing and the classic use of soulful samples are a treat to listen and dance to. There’s hints of the 90s New York sound (New Spirit), soulful disco-tinged grooves his new home-town is known for (Ain’t no stoppin’), lean-back and summery melodic grooves (No minions allowed) and deep, bassheavy dubby grooves (Whatchu want is all I got) to remind everyone that Demuir is an absolute master of modern day house music.

Code 718 aka iconic NYC DJ Danny Tenaglia dropped this 'E2-E4' riffing classic back in the mists of 1992. Manuel Göttsching's original track would have been a staple of NYC clubs back then and would have featured in the warm up sets of jocks like Tenaglia who favoured the longer, deeper sets as well as on the play-lists of institutional night-spots such as the Loft and the Garage. The track's influence on a whole era of DJ's and producers that followed is immeasurable and across 3 sublime mixes Tenaglia distills the magic of the original into something totally NYC and club-friendly without losing any of the Göttsching magic, even managing to sprinkle a little Grace Jones in the mix with her fabulous 'I floated on a cloud' vocal sample liberally applied. 'Equinox' takes us on a trip that is emotive, uplifting and warm. This is how House music is meant to sound, respectfully steeped in what preceded it yet moving forward in a fresh direction. Another example of how on the money Strictly Rhythm were in their early days, classic after classic rolled out of the labels' offices and us, the record buying legions, were / are better off for it! This one's a tasty 2017 reissue and remaster, featuring all 3 mixes, unedited, as per the original release way back when. Do not sleep.

Finally comes the first of a two-part forthcoming EP's, Extended Versions taken from the highly successful Joe Claussell Afro Edits & Overdubs Series previously released on LP and CD.
Influence of hallucinations induced by chewing roots from the iboga plant on the works of Joaquin Joe Claussell's Edits & Overdubs IBOGA Compilation. The iboga plant is indigenous to the humid, tropical climates of West Central Africa, including Gabon, Cameroon, Congo, and Angola, which are home to the 2nd largest rainforest in the world. It has been used for centuries in spiritual initiation ceremonies and practices, particularly by the Bwiti tradition and religion in Gabon.
Joaquin Joe Claussell was inspired by these influences and went into the studio to create a compilation of edits and overdubs of African vibrational sounds and rhythms. The result is a collection of nine compositions that showcase the future possibilities of this influential work.
Tested for months on dance floors across the globe every on this complication are sure to continue setting dance floors on fire where ever spun.

Both have long been staples of the underground with material under their own names and numerous other guises shaping the musical landscape of House Techno and beyond since the turn of the millennium. Both lived together in New York and as Frank & Tony the pair have delivered multiple albums and many EP’s on their own label, Tokyo’s Mule Musiq and Pacific Rhythm- now they are warmly welcomed onto the Smallville Records roster with their latest collection of works.
‘Ways Of Mine’ leads on the A-Side and showcases the pairs signature deep hypnotic house style via soft billowing pads cascading metallic chimes psychedelic spoken word and dreamy dubbed out keys floating atop a robust bouncy rhythm
section.To open the flip-side title-track ‘After All’ lays down a subtly blooming chord sequence shuffled drums and bumpy bass stabs at its core all subtly nuanced while the latter half introduces more dynamic rhythmic elements and intertwined melodic touches. ‘Dimension’ then concludes the release diving deeper with saturated ethereal pads and bubbling resonant arpeggio lines alongside heavily swung crisp drums jazzy keys and delayed vocal chants.
