The enigmatic French producer KafkaCtrl is responsible for 'The Lost Intruder', the new release from Madrid's beloved electro label Distrito 91.

The EP is composed by five analogue bombs, perfectly structured in a synthetic storytelling that opens with the instrumental 'Hidden Light', followed by 'Cell Echoes' and its electro discharge of haunting synth lines. These are followed by 'Tokyo Combat' and 'Morphing Blood', which strike the perfect balance between depth and intensity, while the closure is reserved for the superb 4x4 electro performance that is 'It Escaped'.

On “i was put on this earth”, DJ Python - aka Brian Piñeyro - gently forays into uncharted territory as a singer, producer, and collaborator; an evolution all the more impressive in light of his groundbreaking musical projects to date like Mas Amble, Angel, and Club Sentimientos Vol 2. While splitting his time between New York and London, Python has teamed up with a diverse set of collaborators including South London rapper Jawnino, Honduran-born powerhouse Isabella Lovestory, unclassifiable songwriter Organ Tapes, and NYC mainstay Physical Therapy. Across the five-track EP, Python shares bold solo songs alongside these intriguing collaborations. Fracture & Neptune reissue two classics from the Astrophonica catalog on a new 12”. Clissold and The Limit shine a spotlight on the early days of their musical journey in the mid 2000s.

While there are other tracks that could and may get reissued, the pivotal nature of these two and the ongoing demand for represses made them the perfect place to start. Reissuing them not only honours their impact on our careers and Astrophonica's evolution but provides the opportunity to have them remastered on vinyl by Beau Thomas at Ten Eight Seven and on digital by Bob Macciochi at Subvert Central Mastering for a modern take in 2024.

Over the summer of 2024 Adam F has been releasing a series of reboots on 181 Recordings - the label founded with vocalist and partner Kirsty Hawkshaw. As a precursor to his forthcoming album he follows up 'Brand New Funk Revisited Reboots' and 'Music In My Mind Revisited / Reboots' with painstakingly re-recorded and rebooted versions of his seminal track 'Circles', with a Reboot by Adam F, as well as the first official release of the Pola & Bryson & Adam F reboot - which has been causing a storm on DnB dancefloors worldwide.

"'Circles' is one of the first tracks where I could express my influences with no boundaries. The music became known as Drum n' Bass but started off as hard core Rave and Jungle. One of the greatest things about it for me was that I could express myself through that medium using all my influences; funk, soul, reggae and jazz - freely and unrestricted." says Adam F on the release.

"Circles has evolved over time with very solid and rich roots. Behind the hooks, basslines and such there are great textures. Saxophone, trumpet, Keyboards and synthesisers contributing to a free flowing arrangement drawing on my love of jazz musicians indulging my own personal imaginative dreamscape of sound. Ultimately I want it to be crafted into something of a listener's story and journey that people can hang their hats on as well as their hearts."
