Kinkajous - Jann
London-based experimentalists Kinkajous have announced their new studio album, Nothing Will Disappear, set for release on October 18th via Nottingham's Running Circle label. Maximalism at its most subtle and tender – ambient music at its most rejuvenated. There are echoes of Sam Shepherd's collaborative work with Pharoah Sanders as Floating Points, and the subtle timbre shifts of Jon Hopkins and James Holden more so than their capital-"J" jazz contemporaries. A marked step-up from their previous work, which already holds critical acclaim by tastemakers from Gilles Peterson to the Vinyl Factory. Their debut album "Hidden Lines" (2019) and sophomore "Being Waves" (2021) both nestled into numerous end of year lists, praised for their blends of analogue, acoustic and orchestral instrumentation. Described by CLASH as "a key part of the British music landscape," Kinkajous draw inspiration from orchestral, instrumental, and electronic music, and are renowned for their captivating and cinematic sound. Led by drummer/producer Benoît Parmentier and saxophonist Adrien Cau, they boast a formidable lineup including keyboardist Jack Doherty and bassist Andres Castellanos. It comes good on the brave new spaces Kinkajous pushed into with sell-out headline shows at London's Jazz Café and King's Place, alongside a gargantuan collaboration last winter with the London Contemporary Orchestra at London's EartH Theatre, and performances at Bluedot and EFG London Jazz Festivals.

Kinkajous - Those Real
Stretching genre and medium boundaries, 'Being Waves' leads listeners to explore their own concepts of reality and perception. The new record marks an evolution from Kinkajous' acclaimed debut, Hidden Lines (2019, Running Circle). This release, engineered by long-term collaborator Brendan Williams, gives life to a wide aural landscape made up of rich and diverse musical influences. With its blend of acoustic and orchestral instrumentation, analogue synthesis and sampling processes, there is an elaborate yet organic feel to the music that makes Being Waves the five-piece band's most introspective work to date.
Led by drummer/producer Benoît Parmentier and saxophonist/clarinetist Adrien Cau, Kinkajous have earned a reputation for conjuring up a powerful and cinematic sound, being described by CLASH as "a key part of the British music landscape". Joined by Jack Doherty (synths), Maria Chiara Argirò (keys) and Andres Castellanos (bass), this album is exhilarating yet intimate, reflecting the band's outstanding musicianship and versatility.

Kinkajous' debut album 'Hidden Lines' is a compelling mix of tonalities and influences, orchestral to jazz, world and electronic. The sublime, interwoven melodies of woodwind, analogue synths and percussion invoke the likes of Steve Reich, Floating Points and BADBADNOTGOOD.
Hidden Lines received wide acclaim from club-jazz figureheads Bradley Zero, Toshio Matsuura and Gilles Peterson, and set the stage for numerous collaborations, like their live performance with the London Contemporary Orchestra in 2023, and more recently on the visualisation of their 2024 album 'Nothing Will Disappear' with Grammy nominated visual artists Eric Timothy Carlson and Aaron Anderson.

Pete Beardsworth - Back To You
Pour Un Homme Seul, the debut EP from Pete Beardsworth, is a cathartic exploration of the spiritual world of jazz and the healing force within. Originally just simple melodies jotted down in the back of a small leatherbound notebook, the songs were written during a long period of solitude in the year following a traumatic accident that left Pete without the bottom parts of his legs. Charting a journey of hope and rediscovery, the tracks are aural fragments of a voyage through a harsh, personal wilderness, and back again to civilization and consciousness. This voyage is painted with woodwind, electronics, vocals, found sounds, and synthesizers provided by Pete. Accompaniments by renowned Erhu player Ling Peng, Yazmin Lacey's drummer Tom Towle, guitarist Roshan Gunga, bassist George Butt, and vocalist Daisy Godfrey. It follows long-standing collaborations with Yazmin Lacey, for whom Pete produced EPs Black Moon and When The Sun Dips 90 Degrees, the genre-crossing Invisible Orchestra, Brooklyn's own Chris Rock, and work as part of free-jazz inspired electronic outfit Three Body Trio.

This eponymous release from Three Body fuses digital futurism with cosmic organica. Hedonistic breakbeats, woodwind and keys interpolate six melodious tracks, stemming from live recordings, revolving around percussive conversations. With the band's raw minimal approach and combination of natural and synthetic instrumentation, this elemental EP offers an innovative study of contemporary electronic music and its relationship with ethnic rhythms and tones.
With the world in the throws of lockdown, the record never received its live inauguration, but it got nuff love on radio, with 6Music, WWFM and NTS all championing the release. It's since gained cult status amongst DJs with an ear for earthy tones, with tracks 'Palm Leaf' and 'Jampa Gawa' regularly spreading their wings. The trio's unique approach to sound is shaped by years of impromptu improvisations. The characterful drums and synthesis of Tom Towle, masterful sampling and engineering from Guohan and the wandering woodwind of Pete Beardsworth form the skeleton of this record, meticulously fleshed out in subsequent studio sessions.

Error Subcutáneo are Mauro Ferreiro (electronics) and Gonzalo Frómeta (drums). Born under the sweltering sun of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, their music portrays the colder, more urban side of life in the Caribbean, where cacophonous violence and Cold War monoliths collide with dreams of a better tomorrow. The duo take elements of hip-hop, modular electronics, island syncretism, and bebop to twist and distort contemporary narratives on music composition, representing the greater movement of Latin American resistance directly from its epicentre.
The tracks on Temporada Ciclónica fracture and scatter, synths detuned at will, the clatter of drums powering through the destabilised structures of the individual pieces. Gilles Peterson's well known love of the more avant-garde edges of jazz have made him an admirer of the duo and it's not hard to ascertain why. Their collaboration with fellow DR artist Rita Indiana on 'El Perseguidor' displays her authoritative voice as the dialogue between chaos and focus. Confusion, free jazz rage, discord and an overarching sense of threat colour this record.

Son Of Philip - Dream Rebellion
Plastic Borough is the first full length release from Son of Philip. An elegant, transportative and beguiling listen, set firmly apart from the grooved-out garage heaters that first gained him recognition from heavyweights like Ben UFO, Overmono and Mary-Anne Hobbs. This 7 track album of gloomy post-club psychedelia features an intoxicating blend of fragmented synths against swirling, twisting and contorted sounds.
Complementing three of the tracks, including 9 minute mind-bender 'Infinity', are the eerie and beautiful vocals of Swedish singer Ylva Grönlund. On the EP's title track 'Plastic Borough', Tom is also joined by Matthew Farrell on viola da gamba (a 15th century cello), adding a majestic and cinematic undercurrent to the proceedings. The record follows a string of short form releases; his debut Play Monotonous (2021) on Wigflex, Me & Meds (2021) a collab EP with Lukas Wigflex released on Trouble Maker, and Allegory of The Cave (2022) Son of Philip's first appearance on his own label Bliss Print.

While some guys will tell you now it’s all computers, at Turbo we know in our hearts that everything in life can be understood as a funhouse mirror. Sascha Funke’s massive 2017 hit “MZ” is one of the most iconic house records ever released on our label, and thus deserving of the ultimate honour: a remix pack reflecting each of the manifold facets of a modern dancefloor classic from the most prestigious and respected angles imaginable.
As studious Turbo watchers have no doubt clocked*, we have paid access to the halls of European power, where you get to make backroom deals with Emmanuel Macron and British Seinfeld as Opus’ “Live is Life” blares over a gigantic bluetooth speaker. And, yeah, you’ll probably run into the most celebrated European producers of our time. Pional, Axel Boman, Mano Le Tough, and Roman Flügel — these are the kinds of names you only see once you’ve reached the highest levels of success, be it in dance music production or purchasing the hottest tickets in town on your favorite mobile device. We called each on these titans to anoint “MZ” into the modern pantheon of club anthems, and you can bet your last eurobond that they delivered. But we also wanted some new blood, so we turned to rising Lithuanian superstar DJ JM. JM is now a deep part of the Turbo family, and he’s made the theoretical space between bad-boy cousin and beloved nephew fully his own with what we hope Rolling Stone Magazine will call “a distinctively modern edge."
*Clocking is a cool way of noticing things. Try it sometime!
Key Selling Points
- Turbo’s most seminal house track ever is re-released with brand new remixes from several of the scene’s greats.
- From Indie-Electro to Latin-tinged house to melodic mastery to bass-dripping techno, these remixes have it all.

The sixteenth edition of Defected’s vinyl series continues to commit the label’s biggest digital releases to wax, delivering some of the best house music previously unavailable on vinyl. EP16 brings together four recent releases from Defected’s catalogue of world-class house. First up on the A-side is Claptone & Rune’s ‘Calabria’, a highly anticipated release from summer 2022 thanks to its warm familiarity, big rubbery bassline and brassy saxophone hook that captivated dancefloors instantly. Similarly, Jack Back’s ‘Feeling’ has a hint of noughties nostalgia, released in March of 2022 ready to sweep dancefloors with a rave-ready bass and electrifying vocal. The B-side opens with Ibiza stalwart Marco Faraone’s 2021 release ‘My Name’, featuring intoxicating vocals from Lolita Leopard; dripping with attitude. Closing out this club-focused collection is Payfone’s distinct ‘Day & Night’, featuring an orchestral approach to composition and a deep house groove that bursts in with ease.

4
Oden & Fatzo x Camden Cox - - Lady Love
Defected’s vinyl series continues to commit the label’s biggest digital releases to wax, delivering the best house music previously unavailable on vinyl, and this nineteenth edition collates four unmissable releases from 2023’s incredible summer season. Opening the compilation, British house favourite Jansons delivers old skool vibes with ‘Hypnotic’, championed by 90s hip-hop and RnB inspired vocal vocals courtesy of Dope Earth Alien. Next up, LP Giobbi’s long-awaited Defected debut came in the form of ‘Giodisco’, a joyful, vibrant club cut that showcased the live musician and producer’s disco-adjacent sound. On the B-Side, the First Lady of Defected Sam Divine presents her long-awaited dancefloor release ‘Take My Hand’ featuring Josh Barry on vocals. After teasing the track for nearly a year in her live sets, the heavenly house release did not disappoint. Closing out this esteemed collection is the addictive collaboration between Parisian underground favourites and London singer-songwriter Camden Cox, ‘Lady Love’, which dominated the summer season with its undeniable energy and earworm vocal.

maceo plex & gabriel ananda - Solitary Daze (Barnt Remix)
Maceo Plex teams up with Gabriel Ananda to deliver the momentous 'Solitary Daze'. An awe-inspiring piece of music; Maceo and Gabriel have pulled out all the stops in creating this anthemic masterpiece. A sure fire dancefloor destroyer! The original is also deftly remixed by Barnt and by North Lake. The A Side features North Lake’s infectious deeper remix whilst the flip features Barnt’s epic revision of the original. Both of which create fantastic versions of the original version, taking it off into new stratospheres. Another great single from Ellum, who seem to be going from strength to strength.

Robag Wruhme - Venq Tolep (Hit Club Version) 06:24
2025 Repress
Tracklist:
A. Nata Alma (Club Smash Hit Version) 08:40
AA Venq Tolep (Hit Club Version) 06:24
Release Info:
Robag Wruhme, working on the material. On the very same piece. And performing two different movements. First, thinking in category Album: who will hear it where? also: mood, position, length. Second, thinking in category Maxisingle: a spinning-tool for the club – another form of another functionality: accelerating the rhythm, lowering the harmonicmelodious, still preserving the nature of the song. And each version should make you HOT for the other!
Nata Alma, a voice loses itself in the infinite, a car brakes, a horse whinnies, the sun scorches relentless. Further, further on, towards the flickering, stoically. Water, flames on the horizon, Fata Morgana, a mirage. »And you might say, we've got no place to go?« - okay? no notokay at all!: Shuffle!
Nata Alma, melancholic Eight-minute-forty. A love song, a wave good-bye: »And you might say, that you need me no more?« sings Sidsel Endresen alongside Bugge Wesseltoft's swells and ebb-aways – metal never sounded so longing; a buzzing swing, a siren call from afar.
Robag Wruhme takes a seat at the organ and plays minor bass notes. He gets up, leaves the room and lays down a dry rock of funk: wooden kick on wooden snare, tight-cut voices, driving hi-hats and shakers, gated synth danglers and percussion loops. Relentless, stoically. »And you might say, that it's over?« – relentless, maybe, but that's how he creates the Further: keep going! dance it off! a new day rising!
And right here. Flip it and keep on moving: Venq Tolep. A summer meadow, grass-stains, a gentle breeze, an early smell of hay. Venq Tolep. Endorphins tickle under the skin. A
percussive spectacle, dance of the insects. Hopping around in flat shoes, the beat is phat and reverberated by a cluster of trees. Stabs on the e-piano set in, picturing the euphoric moment when Loving-feelings walk hand-in-hand with a Hint of Melancholy.
Robag Wruhme, Nata Alma and Venq Tolep - music for dance floors, inside and outside, music for the summer, day and night, and for convertibles on the way there.

Various Artists - I Never Knew Love (MK Club Mix)
4 To The Floor continues to champion heritage tracks with Volume 6 of the Classics 12” series, ‘The MK Mixes’. As one of the most in demand producers of the halcyon period of house in the early 90s, this special delivery features three gems from MK’s impressive catalogue of remixes. Kicking off the A-Side MK remixes 4th Measure Men’s ‘4 You’, as his signature 90s-era bumping bassline, sax accents and vocal chop come into play, features typical of all his very best work. Up next the trademark MK sounds continue, as his deep and grooving mix of ‘Free Your Mind’ by Geoffrey Williams powers through the speakers. On the flip MK’s Club Mix of ‘I Never Knew Love’ by house legend Chez Damier rounds off the release, as this 12” package offers a masterclass in remixing from one of dance music’s most loved artists.

TRACKLIST:
A Emmanuel Top - Turkish Bazar (Chris Liebing Remake)
SHORT INFO:
Chris Liebing remakes Emmanuel Top's iconic 'Turkish Bazar'. A new version of the 1994 acid rave hit lands on Liebing's CLR.
Chris Liebing's long-awaited remake of Emmanuel Top's 1994 classic 'Turkish Bazar' arrives on CLR this December. Initially released via the Le Petit Prince label, 'Turkish Bazar' is an evergreen club hit, now painstakingly rebuilt by Techno powerhouse Chris Liebing, with each musical element reforged to create an essential new version.
Liebing's version of 'Turkish Bazar' features the instantly recognisable spoken word vocal of the original, while he ups its unmistakable 303 with an additional dose of acid. Raw, unfiltered licks are in tandem with pounding drums as airy pads and dainty sequences aim to soothe dancefloor madness. Extensively road-tested by Chris Liebing and blessed by Emmanuel Top for release via CLR, this is a mammoth revisit that lives up to the original's timeless appeal.
Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, Bjarki, DJ Dextro and more while also focusing on developing newer acts in the scene such as Risa Taniguchi, The Southern, and Klint.

Aquatrax - Stabilize (Hardspace Mix)
12" transparent yellow vinyl with full cover print
TRACKLIST:
A. Benjamin Damage - 010X (Hardspace Mix)
B. Aquatrax - Stabilize (Hardspace Mix)
INFO:
Label head Len Faki continues his legacy of personalized remixes with this two-tracker, combining a personal favorite of him with a more recent output from his peers.
First up is the euphoric 010X by Benjaming Damage, whose anthemic chords have been ringing in our ears ever since its first release back in 2013. Faki reframes the standout lead and packages it neatly within his own jacking percussion, beefing up the low end and giving the melodic original a pronounced bassy drive.
Rewinding yet another decade, Aquatrax' Stabilize pulsates with the relentless energy of late 90's techno, formative years for Len Faki as an artist and also club regular. His take on the UK classic introduces a hypnotic dubby swirl, one of those perfect loops that is captivating from start to finish. The details ebb and flow with a subtlety unusual for his Hardspace alias, creating an immersive journey that's impossible to tap out of.
