The new dance album by Biicla called HYPER HOUSE is an imaginary club, where the main hero is the listener. The vibe in this house is Uk influenced modern take on bass / garage with a kind flow and naked emotions. The record has been in the making last 3 years and you could have heard some singles from the album already - GAS (4.21), MAKING NEW, MISS YA were all released via System 108 in 2023, the label has also become by accident a new home for the artist. Before arriving on System 108, Biicla has been releasing music for a while and getting exposure in big US Festivals, like Lollapalooza, Hard Summer, Bonaroo and many more, celebrating millions of streams worldwide. With System 108, Biicla found a new home and new dedicated audience, and it seems like a match made in heaven.
The process of production of the album took time during some challenging years - when our ordinary world started to shatter... Therefore the cover is divided in two parts - on the right, we observe chaos and destruction; on the left, people are having a quiet and happy life. Modern / hybrid club sounds in the album co-exist with sensible, soulful vibes, sorrow and hope. On top, the finishing comes in a close to perfection studio-engineered sound. HYPER HOUSE therefore is an intimate record with a personal meaning for Biicla and for us, as a label. Together as a team, we represent Biicla in all facets of his creative output, would it be his self-branded party BIICMAK, live shows or support of new names in the scene, discovered by the artist, as an example here comes the V/A Radar 108, curated by Biicla - tip!

KGC Radio is all about returning to music-making roots - choices are raw, minimalist and different from the sonic industry environment. The flow is kept simple but deadly, using only the bare essentials to blow up the rave and festival scenes: analog synths, drum machines, a mic, and some sick percussion. The whole album was recorded in one take, like some kinda secret radio wave you stumble on in the middle of the night. Catch it, and you're diving headfirst into a maze of vibes and meanings you ain't seen coming. On the visual side, KGC Radio is a collab with Zhanna Maliti, this dope Moscow-based artist and photographer. Ritual Dance - is a sound journey, where futurism and the obsolete merge into a new world. Arash & Quasar (truth and star) - is a duo of electronic producers, friends, DJs, rare record collectors and artists, Pavel Grachev and Vitaly Zhul'kov. Their approach for music making compiles elements of various cultures and eras, resulting in fresh and trippy sonic labyrinths. The title track puts the listener in a state of trance and wild fields, where shaman dance moves take over the existense. Powerful percussion, rich synth textures and traditional instruments are mixed in one. 'Acid Krishna' extends the trip, adding acid basslines and meditative flavour. A true morning anthem of a proper rave trip. 'Lokum' is exploring the deepness of the East through melodies, that sweeten up your adventure away from the daily reality. The flip side starts with 'Opium', where slow beats suck you in the abyss more and more. 'Truth & Star' - is an energy exchange ceremony, where Arash & Quasar become rhythm wizards and dictate how you move and feel, just like snakes dance to the magic flute... The Truth refers to the inner awakening and The Star is the symbol of the external shine. 'Desert' is the final chapter of the trip, evolving into eternity, just like a caravan dissolves in the endless desert, hot air and the blue night... Local superstars Cream Soda roll out 'Uuueee', an effective and funny peak track, road-tested on many summer dancefloors. Closing side A is our mainstay Kovyazin D. 'Moscow Central Circle' is an ode to railway trips and is inspired by the world that unfolds from the window on a train ride, rushing through the urban landscapes.
Side B is opened by our very own Lipelis, who this time teams up with Cosmic G in his Belgrade studio to render that 'dancing with closed' eyes track 'Locked To Heaven', essential for long and epic sets played at special locations. Gleb Filipchenkow is a new guy in town, heavily praised by mum, dad, &ME, Adam Port, AME and Dixon. Just like on Lipelis's critically acclaimed Function As A Meaning EP (a System 108 instant classic by now!), things took off by themselves: intuitive sampling of chords taken from Brazilian gospel found some unexpected modular synth tweaking. Moscow's celebrated label System 108 presents the latest split release by Danny Daze and Anthony Rother. The "Binary" EP is inspired by and dedicated to Moscow and its rich and distinctive atmosphere. One side of the record consists of a raw-sounding and dancefloor-oriented techno track "Moscow" by Danny Daze. With a slight correspondence to the Dutch sound, the track also has a soulful synthesizer touch to it. During the process. Remixed by producers Etapp Kyle and Tarra. The second part of the EP belongs to the German electro producer and artist Anthony Rother with his track "Kocmoc", referencing the Soviet satellite launched in 1966, as part of the Dnepropetrovsk Sputnik program. Nothing is the third album from DARKSIDE: nine transmissions of negative space, telepathic seance, and spectral improvisation. On their first two reinventions, Nicolás Jaar and Dave Harrington entered the studio with a clutch of scattered ideas to mold into what became the revered Psychic(2013) and Spiral (2021). But Nothing reflects a search for form borne out of spontaneous elliptical jams, acoustic riffing, and digital levitations. And in a fundamental shift from their first dozen years as a band, the duo recruited their longtime friend and collaborator, the drummer and instrument designer Tlacael Esparza, to become a full-time member. The outcome is magnetic and hieroglyphic. This album slips through the cracks of convention with serpentine guitars, extraterrestrial static, and cavernous drums. No band but DARKSIDE could have made Nothing, and in no moment but now.

This is another vital instalment of Get Physical Music's classic reissue series, which is now scheduled for a vinyl release. It features a track first released in 1994 and was also part of DJ Pierre's Wild Pitch: The Story album back in 2017. It comes with an Emmanuel Satie edit of the Ricardo Villalobos Dub and a stellar remix from South Africa's Jazzuelle, first released in 2017.
DJ Pierre's name is forever synonymous with house music, particularly the acid sound he pioneered in the' 80s. Staying true to the underground since then, he's consistently released vital tracks, innovated with his Wild Pitch style and now his Afro Acid label. Pierre continues to push boundaries with each new outing while this reissue proves that his earliest works are still some of house music's best ever.
'What is House Muzik' is an almost 10-minute masterpiece that's perfectly designed for gritty warehouse spaces and comes complete with an anthemic vocal monologue. It's dark and distorted with monstrous kicks and oversized hi-hats, a frazzled lead synth line and a marching groove that is lit up with strobe-lit details to get hands in the air. The original also comes alongside an acapella version.
Next up, we have an edit from melodic master Emmanuel Satie, who takes Fellow Ricardo Villalobos's epic 36-minute 'What Is Dub' version and splices it into a floor-friendly and perfectly paced 7-and-a-half-minute edit. Originally dropping in 2015, it now sees its way onto vinyl for the first time. Finally, South Africa electronic production don Jazzuelle drops a remix that lives up to its name with a dive into the deeper realms of acid.
